I recently used Two Men and a Truck for my move from the Tampa area to North Carolina. The move went well without any problems, and now that I am unpacked, I can attest that nothing was damaged.Jerry, the driver, was on-time for both pick up and the delivery of my things and kept in touch with me throught the move. I would highly recommend using these guys.

I am always concerned about damage to my belongings with moving companies. I am pleased to say there was no damage to my belongings! The 3 men that were sent were courteous and efficient. I was surprised that they nearly beat me to my destination 100 miles away.

Ive hired moving companies several times before, and Ive never encountered the lack of professionalism that I did with Two Men and a Truck. Everything started out fine: the movers were polite, showed up on time, and worked efficiently. The problems started when 3 pieces of my furniture were damaged. Before the movers left, I had them write a damage report. They said I had 96 hours to call the office about the damages. When I called, I was not able to get to a person. I had to leave voicemails. After several days, my voicemails still had not been returned. It was only after I called the national headquarters (over a week later) that someone from the local office called me back saying they are understaffed so they have to prioritize their calls. (In other words... my damaged property is not important enough to get back to in a timely manner.) Then, I was shocked when they said there was no damage report. They either lost it or the movers never filed it. Are you kidding me? Fortunately, I had a copy of it. The absolute worst part of the experience was having to deal with Dan, who was so rude. His emails were passive aggressive and he even had the audacity to hang up the phone on me. Unreal! I called the national headquarters again to tell them about my experience and I said that I dont want to work with Dan anymore. The woman I spoke to was completely unsympathetic and said that Dan is the person who handles damages in my area so I have to work with him. She would not apologize for his behavior, saying things like I didnt witness the conversation, nor would she assure me that his behavior will be addressed. Obviously, this is the companys culture. (Its even more obvious after reading other reviews! I wish I had done that before hiring them.) Eventually, they sent someone to repair my furniture (Brad, who was very polite), but he was not able to fix my coffee table to my liking. He did the best he could and at least got it to look better. At this point, Im so tired of this company that I dont even want anything else from them. I learned my lesson. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!

Horrible customer service! I had a scheduled date for a local move that apparently wasnt confirmed. The process for booking an actual date was not made clear as the instructions were in an email in fine print, in a long paragraph. No follow up call or email that I needed to confirm the date and I came to find out my reservation was given away.

We had two movers who were very pleasant and worked hard. I would use two men and a truck again.

I felt comfortable with Two Men and a Truck from the first phone call through to the end of the experience. They followed through on everything they said they would do and on the timeline they promised. They were flexible in working with me as an intermediary for my Dad, allowing me to make the move easier for him. I really appreciated that they took care of everything, from the packing, to the move and then the unloading, with the same two employees. It was seamless. A bit more expensive to have a dedicated team and truck, but knowing exactly when your items are going to arrive and having the chance to build an effective and efficient rapport with the team, particularly in this instance, was definitely worth it. Plus, we liked our movers...very nice as well as professional!

Run away - This was the worst moving experience my wife and i have ever been through. They damaged every single piece of furniture we own and dropped them all. They destroyed both of our homes, dropped furniture down the stairs with big holes in the walls. They smashed our pavers at our brand new home and ruined our floor. We have 9 pieces of very expensive furniture that were severely damaged. Its taken over a month to even get repair people out to fix it.

I moved from out of state and there was a delay before I could move into my new apartment. I also brought with me everything from a much larger house. The two movers who came were very prompt, worked smart AND hard and managed to find a way to get everything into a smaller space. I would rate this a 5 out of 5. Also great communication prior to and after my move to ensure it was a good experience. Strongly recommended.

Just used Two Men for our 4th move and it was as excellent as always. They are always on time, polite, careful and trustworthy. They are probably slightly more expensive than others but it’s totally worth it. Even if they send a less experienced guy, there are senior movers overseeing things. We just moved from a house into a storage unit and apartment, they packed and moved us in 2 swift days. They sent 4 guys which was super helpful, and all of them were SO nice. I don’t even get quotes from others anymore, and I will be using them again for our next move without a doubt!

The two guys who came to move were good no complaints, be aware this company charges you from when they leave the office and the time to get back to office. So you end up paying one hr or more already just for their drive time. Had I known this I would’ve used another company like Bulls Moving or Smart Move that starts their clock when they get to your house and stop the time when they finish the move. It astounds me I had to pay for their trip to the next house. I would’ve saved $138 had I known this.

If you ever listen to one review this is the Warning all should heed! This is a bit late but but not a waste if it saves anyone from what two men and thieves did to our family. We down sized from a home we were in for over 15 yrs. We were also assured and guaranteed our boxes were safe in their truck. It was suppose to be a secure lot that no one could just come into. Dont let them fool you, they had to have gone through boxes and resealed them. We had all kinds of items missing! This included books, favorite jeans, favorite jackets, collector items as well! The list goes on and on, they seemed nice enough, one guy was white, one was black, and neither one had any decent respect to not take what they did not work for. These people think they are entitled to your stuff, you and your family worked for! Their name should be two men and shameless thieves !!!

Moving is stressful but two men and a truck made it less stressful and a breeze. They were on time, polite, professional, quick, willing to ask questions and listen (even if that meant changing your mind multiple times). I cannot say enough good things about them. Our family had used themTwice before and was well pleased. The third time was not the charm. What we learned was the move is only as good as which”two men” you get. In our case there were four men. Only one of the four was up to the job. We were disappointed in their lack of training on how to handle things, their standing around watching each other, their lack of “can do”Attitude and putting their customer first.We sent notes to management during the move to try to get them involved and no one ever responded. We also called and afterwards completed their survey. Long story short, they promise on the front end but don’t stand behind their promises. Unfortunately I can never use nor recommend the Tampa group again.

One good thing about Two Men and a Truck is the kind of professionalism and excellent customer service they give. This is our second request for service in 1 year, and they consistently give an A++ service. Efficient communication and responsiveness are the key for me appreciating their business.Garret and Felipe were a great team, very efficient, fast and accommodating. We never felt short-changed because they dealt with the whole moving process the fastest time that they could, without sacrificing quality and care for the items.It might take a little longer for us to avail of Two Men and a Truck’s service but when we will have the chance, it will definitely be them again.

I move A LOT and this was the first time I decided to use a moving company end-to -end. Usually I just rent a u haul and hire 2 movers to load and unload. I was completely satisfied with the quality of service from this company. They did a great job in every aspect, from giving me an honest quote, scheduling my move and loading and unloading my stuff. First things first, PRICE. I was given 2 quotes, one at the low end and one at the high end. In full disclosure, I went in with the expectation that the price would be at the high end so there were no surprises or overages. I recommend that if given a quote, you go with the high one and that way you will not be surprised. Next up, the quality of services rendered. The 2 guys that moved my stuff were on time and worked diligently. They wrapped my furniture, making sure nothing was damaged in the move and they unloaded everything efficiently and placed it wherever I asked. All in all I would use this company again. They were on time, hard working, careful with my belongings and honest about the price. Really cant ask for more especially in the moving industry which can be incredibly dubious.

Easiest move I have ever had! The two men that helped me move were professional, timely and great to work with.

I am a repeat customer of Two Men and a Truck, and up until my latest move, I have recommended the company to anyone looking to move. Unfortunately, my thoughts and opinions have changed. I hired Two Men to move five heavy pieces of furniture, and during the move, my piano fell over in the truck and was damaged. It was a complete accident, and the movers and company rightly assumed responsibility. After that show of good faith, however, the rest of the experience was pretty awful. I share it here so you can make an informed decision before choosing Two Men for your move.When something is damaged in a move, Two Men has three options written into their contract. Option one is for them to repair the damage. This would have been ideal in my situation because I would have ended up with a functional, safe piano. Two Men attempted to fix the piano by calling on their wood expert. He mended the legs and patched a few of the more noticeable gouges. I was told the piano was fixed, and Two Men delivered it to my house. It was obviously not fixed properly because one of the piano legs did not rest on the floor and the piano had a noticeable slant from side to side. Two Men sent their wood expert to my house and he attempted to further fix the leg by adding three washers and two toothpicks. The piano was still not repaired and was a safety hazard. Two Men came back and picked it up. They then determined that it would cost too much for a piano expert to repair the piano. The next option they have to resolve a damage claim is to replace the item. This was not an option they chose to pursue. The last option Two Men has is to pay “Actual Cash Value” for the item they damaged. This is where Two Men is supposed to determine what the value of the piano and reimburse me for that amount. Instead of consulting a piano dealer and providing me with an appraisal, they instead chose to search around on the internet and offer me $150. This ironically did not include the extra $50 I paid in the form of a piano fee for them to move the piano in the first place. When I pointed that out, Two Men said they would probably be able to throw that in as well. It took me five minutes to call a local dealer who told me the bottom of a fair offer would be $500. He also provided Two Men with the same information. During my conversations with Two Men, I was told that, by law, the least they would be required to reimburse me is $0.60 per pound. That is accurate, although that figure is only supposed to be used when the actual cash value cannot be determined. I was also told that they try to limit the amount of money paid to customers who have had their furniture damaged because the money comes out of the movers’ paychecks. That was tough to hear, and I am sure is told to customers strategically, but in the end, they are the only ones in control of that policy. I was also told that customers have “tried to screw them” in the past. I assured Two Men that I was not “trying to screw them” and I just wanted to be treated fairly. At no point did it seem that doing the right thing for a repeat, patient, respectful customer was important to Two Men.Eventually, they told me that they would refund the cost of the move and bring my damaged, unsafe piano back to me so I could try to have it fixed myself. Neither of these options are listed as options for resolving a damage claim in the contract. They just refunded the cost of my move $256 to my credit card today, and I declined my damaged goods. I guess I am left with that amount of money to go towards the purchase of a keyboard because it certainly won’t get a functional, safe piano to my house. I know one thing, Two Men and a Truck will not be a company I trust to move my belongings in the future.

My movers were fantastic. They arrived at the scheduled time, worked hard, and took great care of my belongings. I would highly recommend Two Men and a Truck and will definitely use them next time I move. It was money very well spent.

The movers were on time, attentive to detail, friendly, professional, and absolutely hustled!The only thing preventing me from giving a 5 star review, was the on site estimate under estimated the amount of items, causing a second truck being called. That would have been a hassle if i didnt have a second person available. On a positive note, they honored their estimate and there were no hidden or extra charges. I would definitely use them again if needed.

The estimate was exact: the amount of space that I would need to store my items and also the price for moving those items. Jamar and Shawn were fantastic. They got everything into the space and it all fit like a glove. I will definitely use Two Men and a Truck to shift me back when I return to Tampa.

Never had a bad experience with the 3 moves I had. They carried some very heavy pieces of furniture.

I used two men and a truck before and they were good...Moving my house last week was such a disappointment. They did not wrap/protect TVs, sound bars and other electronics...They did not keep the cords and wires together with the electronics ...One week later I am still unable to use one TV and the soundbars because I have yet to come across the plugs...I expected more professional care of my items

Head mover was very rude. We were charged $300 for their driving time from their office to my home and for their drive back. This was not explained ahead of time. We were told it was our stuff, if we wanted it in clothes baskets that was ok. They would not load and move irregular shaped items such as smaller tubs. The 2 men (not the head guy) were very polite. The up charge for their travel time is wrong. I felt taken advantage of. I will be posting this review. I was yelled at by the head man on the team for not having everything in taped up boxes. He got mad when he saw the size of the brand new furniture still in boxes. I will not recommend this company because of how rude this man was and the hidden costs.

Movers did seem interested in doing what the could to help,me. The only wanted to lift and place. They moved less than 5 per cent,of what i needed moved. Partial move cost me 3 time value of furniture moved.

These guys were great with our move! The only thing I wasnt crazy about was that an estimator had to come to the house and do an estimate of how much time it would take and how much it might cost. I would have been happy with just a per hour rate. Other than that they were very helpful.

A total nightmare. They took valuable pictures and in a move of about 3 miles, managed to lose them and since then they have been totally unhelpful in our efforts to locate them. I would never use this company again.

Moving experience could be very hectic and cumbersome but the Two Men And A Truck made the job very easy for us. From the very beginning I knew I was in good hands. John Cobb (estimator) made sure he wrote down all of my moving needs and sent the most experienced team available for my moving date within a very short time (48 hr). Jerry (lead mover) had 20 yrs experience and James (mover) had 10 yrs. But its their attention to detail that I was impressed with the most. I have very delicate (expensive) heavy items that needed to be maneuvered with gentle care and sometimes through a narrow (u-turn) staircase. Jerry was always a step ahead, thinking how he could plan the items to be handled. These guys are serious professionals and very efficient at moving. Carl (Quality Control manager) was very knowledgeable and caring. I would hire this team again in a heartbeat!

We had someone come over to assess our inventory and give us an estimate. The estimate proved accurate in price but they sent a seemingly too small truck. When our movers Scott R and Kadeem were loading the truck, it became evident that not all of our things would fit easily. Scott and Kadeem were very creative and accommodating whilst we came up with alternative solutions. They were careful with all of our furniture. There was absolutely no sign of damage in our old or new home. The movers maintained a positive attitude throughout our entire two day move. They put everything exactly where it needed to be and even helped us re-arrange things once we changed our minds. I had some very large furniture as well as delicate mirrored furniture and it was all moved up and down multiple staircases without even a scratch. I would not hesitate to book Two Men and a Truck again.

Unfortunately, had short notice to schedule the move, but Jade made it happen. Jonathon and Kelby arrived on time and were very professional and answered all questions. I was a little hesitant to use their services, just because the 2 men and a truck, in black and white letters is a bit dull on their truck; yes I judged a book by its cover.However, the 2 gentleman did an amazing job,better than I expected. From start to finish, they took care of my items as if it was their own. They also asked me where I would like each of my items in the new place. Was called in for so-called interview and was not interviewed at all they just make a judgement call by just looking at you not trying to find out what youve done in life at other jobs but try to find out anything about you all I know as I can but have been a good hard-working employee but I did not fit their view of what a worker is.

This is actually my second with Two men and a Truck, first one was probably 5 years ago and both experience were great. Very friendly and professional. They handle the furniture with care and in a good timing.

Very happy with the move we had with Two Men and a Truck. The two men arrived on time and were very methodical in wrapping up our furniture for transport. They were also incredibly accommodating with my picky requests (i.e., moving a dresser a foot to the right, adjusting an arm chair, that kind of thing). There were two small damages to the furniture but I am not docking them any stars since I think that kind of thing is inevitable. Finally, the two men kept a smile on their face the ENTIRE time, which also helped keep US in a good mood (moving is stressful, amiright).

Just moved today. My wife and I have used Two Men and a Truck at least 6 times in the last 10 years, always happy. Last time was 2 years ago, day of went well but 2 weeks later a manager from the company called to inform me one of the workers who was given a cash tip added extra tip unauthorized to my credit payment, that it would be refunded and the matter dealt with. Lo and behold, I still chose to use this company because of past great experiences.Today, our movers filled a van and told us they would not be coming back for the rest of our furniture and belongings. Local dispatch said they couldn’t send anyone out tonight or tomorrow. They blamed us and the pre-move walk through. They stated the ground team reported we had “300 boxes” for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house. I said, that’s not true, I bought the boxes from UHaul, I have a receipt, I bought 70 boxes and I didn’t use 5 of them. Then they changed the story and said we had closer to 100 boxes and that was over our estimate, that the walkthrough didn’t include one of the bedrooms (a nursery, which had a grand total of a crib I had disassembled and a rocking chair), 2 extra 3-drawer dressers we couldn’t give away and a side table.I left my pediatric clinic in the middle of the workday, over my lunch break, to arrange a truck and I personally hauled the left items onto the truck and had then threw them into the new garage, in approximately the time that the Two Men and Their Truck were pulling out of the house. I am beyond livid. I have previously been the afternoon move that was 2-3 hours delayed because the morning move took longer than expected. I understand delays. It is a service industry. I and my wife received no sympathy or help. We were told it was our fault, that the estimate was our mistake. A person from Two Men and a Truck walked our house. I was told today we should have asked for a truck for the entire day. Clearly, that wasn’t needed, there was less than half a room left and I personally did it, in the middle of my work day, delaying patients, unhappy parents, and an unhappy crying wife all the while.And the story for why we couldn’t be finished kept changing, as above. I will make sure I never use an estimate system from any moving company ever again. It is an estimate. Unless you are coming out the day before the move, how am I to know precisely? I cannot believe someone tried to tell me we had 300 boxes. After these last two moves, I will be finding a different moving company for future needs.*** Update a week later: Corporate only replied to me saying local would talk to me. Local sent me a form letter apology. No one actually put any thought or CARE into the matter, from what I can tell. My own parents, family members, and others in my workplace now know to use other services.

Called the day before yesterday spoke to an agent she took all my information and assured that early next day I would get a manager confirming my move. I scheduled the move to be at 11:30am its 10 am and no call. Spoke to another agent and mentioned that they are fully booked and that she is sorry. Ok? Im stuck, without movers, urgently have to start looking ASAP but, youre sorry.I rather find professionals on Craigslist

Our movers were slow and inadequate, myself and my roommate ( small girls) carried half of our stuff out of the truck and into our new place ourselves. Her dresser showed up to the new house in pieces, they forgot to wrap it. Our dining room table is covered in scratches and my couch is covered in black grease with a giant rip in the corner. Carlo Medero is responsible for handling client issues. Ive emailed/called several times with little to no help in return. My calls and voicemails have gone unanswered. They WILL NOT refund or assist you with damages regardless of what they promise you. This company is dodgy and doesnt deserve a dollar of your money.
