First found this shop a few months ago when I needed my wheel bearings replaced on my truck. They were fast, professional, knowledgeable and didnt try to upsell on stuff you dont need done. For that, I have made this my go to for any issues I may have in the future.

What a great experience! The owner was super nice, extremely helpful & very personable as was the manager! My oil change & tire pressure corrected on all 4 in 30 minutes. No additional sales pitch for unnecessary parts, which I really appreciated. The waiting room was very clean as was the restroom. I felt very comfortable there. I will be back & Im also sending my son-in-law. I went to my car & on the dash was a small bag of chocolate chip cookies - how sweet!

I could not be happier with my experience at Honest -1 Auto Care. I recently brought my 2006 Nissan Altima in for service and now it purrs like a kitten. This business is thorough and gets right to the crux of the matter. As a new customer, I was a little skeptical because of prior experiences but those concerns melted away because of the way I was treated. This is a family owned business and the two gentlemen I worked with provided detailed explanations of what was wrong and had a straightforward confident plan of action to fix all the issues. I will definitely be back with my other vehicles and will also recommend them to my friends and family.

George was very helpful. Another shop could not fix my A/C after three trips there. George and his tech figured out the issue and got it back to me in about 24 hours. Air is still blowing cold three weeks later. Thanks for the knowledgeable and timely service.

Very welcoming, clean lobby and waiting area. Even had a complimentary massage chair. Full of complimentary drinks and snacks with a great variety. Spacious seating with desks and lounging. Bathroom very clean and also spacious. The gentlemen that assisted me for my car thoroughly explained what my cars issue was and showed me. Very reasonable rates for wheel balance and alignment. Unfortunately they didnt have my tire size so had to go to Walmart but otherwise I would have gone with them for everything. Very pleasant experience. Will return automatically for regular maintenance.

I went in to have an A/C diagnosis. This was my 1st visit. Staff (Willie and I’m not sure of the other guy’s name) was very friendly and professional. The waiting room was clean and the wait time was not long. The guys were open, honest and gave me open and honest feedback about my issue. They did not pressure me into additional services, they asked me what I wanted to do instead. I can tell that they truly care about how they treat their customers and their customers experience by the way I was treated during my experience. I truly appreciate them assisting me and will be back.

Honest 1 Was very professional and dare I say honest. I thought that I needed a oil change. George said that I had 1800 miles left. Some other shady shop would have changed the oil. Nice touch. A snack bad on the dash. Thanks Willy, George and crew!!

Really wonderful experience with George and Willie. Super friendly and professional. Great affordable work. They go above and beyond from the start - nice waiting room, snacks/drinks, and even a little play area for kids and massage chair! George was even so kind as to personally pick me up/drop me off so that I didn’t have to wait for my repair with my 1 year old. Also, Willie was able to get me an even cheaper price on the repair than what he originally quoted. Pleasant surprise when I picked up my vehicle! He could’ve charged me the original quote and I never would’ve known. I think that shows how honest and ethical they are. We are very happy with the service we’ve received at Honest-1!

Booker an appointment on a Saturday night for a Monday. Received consistent and regular confirmation of the appointment which helped keep me on track. Was able to drop off my car and have all repairs completed within a few hours. Great quality, great price, and great staff. Even got a nice ‘thank you’ bag of chips provided in the car after which was a fun touch. Will definitely go back if I need repairs and would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need.

We have trusted Willy at Honest-One in Carrollwood for years. The repairs are fast, they communicate everything to you from start to finish, and care for you like family. We moved three years ago to Pasco county and travel to Carrollwood to use Honest One for all of our cars.

I brought my car to the Honest -1 Auto Care of Carrollwood to have my cars oil changed, tires rotated and transmission fluid flushed and changed. I had seen all the great reviews it got on google so I felt pretty good about taking my car there. Got a call 2 hours after my car was there by Willie who told me my transmission fluid didnt need to be changed, BUT I needed to have my valve cover gasket replaced due to oil leaking, the back brake pads replaced, the drum brake shoes, drums and wheel cylinders replaced, a sway bar link kit and brake fluid change. I was shocked to hear that my car needed so much work done as it has been running fine, but I was even more shocked at what it was gonna cost! I try to keep my car in great condition and all of that sounds pretty serious so I had them go ahead with the repairs. When I went to pickup my vehicle, Willie asked me if I had had fuel work done on my car. I thought it a weird question but responded that I had not. He informed me that my car smelled like gas and that I must be used to the smell if I didnt notice it.My car has never smelled like gas, oil or any other automotive liquids. When I opened my door I was punched in the face by the smell of oil. I looked around inside to see if their was any spilled on the floor or the seats but everything was clean. I chalked it up to sitting in their garage all day and went to leave. When I went to start my car, it wouldnt turn over right away. I would estimate a good 2.5 second before the car turned over. My car in the 7 years Ive owned it has NEVER done that, it always started right up. I wanted to go back in to speak to Willie but they were closing and I had an engagement I needed to get to. My car was running fine yesterday after I left. The smell eventually went away inside my car. When I checked under the hood to see if thats where the smell was coming from it looked like oil had been spilled or sprayed and wiped up. Hence the smell! When I went to start my car this morning it did the same thing it did yesterday only this time it was 3 seconds before it turned over. I appreciated them letting me know about all the issues I had with my car, if they were being honest about it, but to try to make it seem like the smell had already been there when it clearly wasnt is ridiculous and my car shouldnt be having this starting issue when like I said before my car NEVER had an issue starting up. I will continue to monitor my car today to see if the problem progresses but I will also be contacting them and their corporate office.

Ive gone here twice now for an oil change and for 4 new tires. This place is wonderful. Friendly, the waiting room is very clean and equipped with drinks/snacks and fun things for kids if you happen to bring one. They walk you through everything and dont try to sell you anything you dont need. The Mazda dealership did a terrible job, but Im glad for it because now Ive found a place I like and trust.

Great service! I called about getting my tires aligned and within 30 minutes of me calling I was already getting my tires aligned. The waiting area is nice, quiet, and clean, and they have free wifi while you wait so I was able to turn in an assignment! Highly recommend!

I believe that when you find a mechanic that you can trust, hold on to them. Carrollwood store has worked on my daughters 05 Kia performing maintenance and oil changes on numerous occasions and I have found them to be straight forward and have never had any issues. I will keep using them and recommend them.

Recently purchased a new-to-us car from a dealership that included a care package that was built into the price. Oil changes and tire rotations are free as long as you bring it back to them. My plan from the beginning was to let the dealership do the oil changes and have Honest-1 do everything else. However the dealership kept coming up with increasingly expensive/urgent repairs and missing other things. The final straw was the dying battery they missed and left our car dead in the garage. We jumped it, got a new battery, and dropped it off at Honest-1 along with the list of urgent items from the dealership. They fit us in their busy schedule, compared the things they found with what the dealership came up with, even sent us pictures as verification, and told us clearly what we did and did not need. I take my other car here as well, and this is not the first time theyve told me certain services/repairs werent necessary. Honest-1 is true to their name and well be skipping the dealership altogether from hereon out. We primarily dealt with George today, but Ive dealt with Willie in the past and their both great.

They really are honest and go out of their way to NOT push products and services on you that they know you don’t need. Their prices may be slightly higher than their competitors but their location and service is also better with plenty of restaurants and stores in the same plaza. Their waiting room is also surprisingly nice if you choose to wait their.

Honest-1 Auto Care had been recommended to me by a family member and by some recommendations on the NextDoor website. I went in with no expectations for an oil change. Honest-1 Auto Care had me in and out in 45 minutes for an oil change!!! I am one of those that wait for my vehicle. The waiting room area was clean, smelled clean and provided complimentary snacks and beverages. They also provided a courtesy inspection on my vehicle which covered my tires, fluid levels, belts, lights, battery, hoses and suspension to name a few possibilities. If you are looking for a place to take care of your vehicle and feel comfortable then Honest-1 Auto is the place. When I retrieved my vehicle, I found a little snack gift on my dashboard with their business card. It gave me the small town feel from a service where everyone else usually treats you like a number. I went in for a simple AC check because my AC was blowing lukewarm when idling, but they did a thorough full vehicle inspection and found deep rooted problems. I am highly impressed with the inspection alone. They quoted me $2400 which is expensive but highly worth it.

I’ve had some issues with the axle but Honest 1 has consistently backed their work. Willie is always there to explain everything and work with the customer

I went in about two weeks ago and I could not be happier with the services I was provided with. The staff is professional, compassionate and are truly a one of a kind staff. They were e able to get my car back on the road in less than 3 hours ! Mind you I broke my axel and tire rod. Brought my car in because it was making a noise. After two visits the technician recommended a brake job and axle replacement. Picked the car up still making the same noise. Also discovered after the brake job that the brake fluid was extremely low. Wouldnt you think if you got a full brake job front and back that they would have at least checked the brake fluid if not replace it? Prices are not cheap by the way. $1,000 for those two jobs.

I wanted to find a good place to get my oil changed since the dealer takes too long. I found this place online while searching in my area and after reading lots of great reviews I figured Id try them out. I went by to make the appointment. The place is super clean and they are very professional and friendly. They gave me an accurate quote and set up for the appointment. They offer a free shuttle if its going to take a while or you can wait in the very clean and comfortable waiting area. I go there for everything now. When I needed a replacement tire on my wifes car, they ordered it in and had it done and ready to go in just a few hours. Very competitive pricing as well. Do yourself a favor and stop looking around and just go see these guys! George and Willie will take care of you!

8 months ago I moved to the Tampa area in Florida and started having car issues. Being a young female I have been ripped off in the past and overcharged because of my lack of understanding and knowledge about cars. After looking online I decided to come here and I have been 110% pleased every time I go. Willie, the general manager has helped me with every service i’ve gotten there. I felt as if I could trust him and his company immediately. After they looked at my car on the first visit, Willie not only gave me a pair of glasses and personally took me to the car to show me the damage he saw but he took pictures for me to send to my father along with information about what would need to be fixed and would not start the repairs until my dad agreed. I can spend hours there and leave in a good mood. The name of the company is exactly what they represent.

So I got an oil change. Everything was normal nothing good nothing bad. Get home and MyKey on my Ford was activated. I didn’t activate it. I called them and politely told them I think they accidentally turned it on and if I could stop by to turn it off since I couldn’t figure out how to. They just denied it. So I have to go to Ford for them to turn it off for 170$....... they didn’t offer to look at it. I didn’t want anything except my speed restrictions off, and basically got “we didn’t cause it so we’re not fixing it” NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!!

I have always had a great experience here and it has become my go-to whenever something is up with my car. Not only is it a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere while you wait, they truly are transparent and honest with their customers. One thing I seriously appreciated was that they actually show you what is going on with your car while explaining it in detail. Definitely 5 star!

Friendly and quality service as usual. On time and professional. Staff is great and treat me like a valued customer. My only constructive feedback is a reminder that masks/face coverings were not being worn consistently and sometimes not at all by some of the front desk staff. We are still in the middle of a pandemic and for the time being, masks are non-negotiable for us to visit any business. Please remind all employees and guests to wear masks at all times while inside for everyone’s safety.

Try to believe the customer when they tell you they placed the coupon on the dash for you as they’re filling out your forms and handing you the keys. Don’t doubt someone’s word and tell them they need to walk out to the car again before you trust them. One brake change and oil change just left and you lost a chance to make a customer for life who just moved into the neighborhood.Update: I was for sure told by your front desk employee that they needed me to go get the coupon because customers tell them all the time they have it and do not and he needed me to get the coupon from my car first. Please, don’t play these games with customers and then try to sweep it under the rug. I left the coupon on the dash for a reason since you do not know the full bill until the services are complete and I didn’t want to forget the coupon or it get lost before the services were complete. I shouldn’t even be having to have this conversation. You send out those flyers weekly and this is over $20 off. I just wanted an oil change and my brakes fixed and I had to be told I wasn’t trusted and I needed to walk back out to my car when you’re going to pull it in for service anyways. It’s ridiculous.

Great customer service and quality of work from the owner (George) and his team! I was particularly impressed with how much time George took to answer all of my questions and explain exactly what they found when doing an inspection of a used car before I purchased it.

Honest 1 is the best! As their name implies I believe they are honest and do not tell you that you need services that you really don’t need. This happened to us twice in one week. We took my husband’s car in because the ac wasn’t working. He turned some knob at no charge and it works great. Then I took my tires in to be aligned and he said I didn’t need it yet. I had let my oil go way over the date so they changed that. It is so nice to be new senior citizens in town and have people you trust work on your car.

Wow! Talk about service went there to get my car repaired was told I would need to leave it for a couple hours. I thought no big deal Ill call a ride. They told me not to worry they provide a complimentary shuttle service. After sitting there for about 5 mins the owner himself came out and drove me to my house. No charge and then Joe called and emailed me repairs needed there prices are fair and competitive and they give a 36 month warranty. The following day l went to pick my car up after paying, Joe walked me to my car they are very professional in everything they do. I open my car sit down and the picture is what I saw. Again Honest 1 is the only place to take your vehicle. Life long customer.

This was the best experience I’ve ever had with an auto repair service. I was leery of taking my car to a repair shop other than the dealership, since it’s considered a “luxury” auto. However, the quality of service I received at Honest-1 and the honest assessment of what repairs were needed was unexpected and refreshing! They’ve earned my business for as long as I remain in the Tampa area. The brothers’ comedic flair and giving me a rose (as they do all ladies who visit their shop) was an added bonus!

(Visit 1) I came in stressed with my broken car... And the PRESIDENT of the company greets me. They set the right expectations and had fair prices.I will only use Honest1 going forward!!!!Thank you guys for the hard work and the professionalism. Although their customer service was exceptional. I did further research into their prices. They charged 122.80 for spark plugs that are less than 10 dollars per unit. I then got charged 545.44 for the coils which are priced between 20-70 dollars. After adding on labor my total was 799.42 for something parts that in total cost a little over 100 combined. This is after I told them I was living paycheck to paycheck. My car still doesnt run. I will not be returning

He didnt have to help me but he went out of his way to ensure that I got my issue taken care of.What a Guy! and What a Happy surprise. Theyve been great so far! I have taken our cars there three times; twice I have scheduled routine maintenance and once for an emergency. The online scheduling has been extremely easy and they are always ready for me. The site has an excellent area for doing remote work on my computer while I wait. Each time, Willie has shown me why they need to service the cars in the way that they have. The time is reasonable and the cost is properly valued. Even though they typically prefer work to be scheduled, they slipped me in right away for my emergency in the middle of the day and it was ready for me to pick up by the end of the day. I love the printed invoice with complete explanations of what was done and even provide recommendations for future work that is on the normal maintenance schedule for our make and model. I know that theyve got good records on our cars, so Im confident I will continue to get our cars serviced here.

Took my car here based on yelp reviews. So glad I did. My car was smoking and i smelt oil. Was sure it was going to be a major problem. Was told the oil cap was loose from the last time i got oil and they secured the cap. All i had to pay was the $39 diagnostic test, which was way cheaper than anyone else i called. Have had my car serviced here twice first for emergency repair and then, after having an incredible experience I can back for more costly repairs I knew I needed. Both times the work was done well, fast, and in a cost effective way. Everyone I interacted with was highly professional and very welcoming. This is going to be my new go to place for all my auto care needs.

Very affordable and thorough. Went in for an oil change and they did a full wellness check on my car and alerted me of a few different maintenance things that I should keep an eye on. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere to wait in.

Barry took the time to explain the issues with my car so that I would understand what was critical to fix and what could wait. I was just passing through on my way to Atlanta when my car started giving me problems. They also threw in a extra diagnostic test at no cost because they knew I needed to jump right back on the highway. I would highly recommend.

True to their name, Honest-1 Auto Care Carrollwood gave an honest quote that was thousands of dollars less than the dealership. George and his team provided high-quality service and did excellent work on my car. I am especially grateful for the complimentary shuttle service that made sure I didnt need to miss work while my car was getting repaired. Im happy. On my first visit with my BMW, they diagnosed the problems and fixed the issues. They suggested a couple of additional repairs but didnt push the issue and provided a repair quote should i want to have those performed later. They found a misplaced hose clamp from the local dealers prior repair.This most recent visit resulted from a badly maintained F150 eith a coolant leak. Needed a expensive manifold but runs right as rain now. I thought the labor charge was very reasonable considering the complexity of the repair.Willie and George treat us well, are upfront with needed and suggested repairs, never pushy. Ill be back with more vehicles guys. Thank you Honest-1

Willie and team are great. We take both our cars there. They even work on our 2005 350z. Prices great and service even better. And of course the treats left in the car are a great touch.

They are my 22 yr old car’s doctor! Because of their care I only need oil changes and just regular maintenance. You can wait for your car and they have beverages and snacks(and a kids play area). Highly recommend!

Took my car in for A/C repair and the quote Honest-1 Auto Care gave me was considerably more reasonable than the quote from the dealer. My A/C repair was done when promised and they even gave my wife a ride from home so she could pick up the car.
