I was extremely impressed by the way the associate that attended to me handled my needs. I felt he treated my problem as if it was the most important. As a walk in I was expecting a big story about how many cars are before me. Instead he made my feel as if he was putting me in front of the line. As I waited I also observed how he did this for every customer that walked in the door. I commend him and would return for his service again. Honestly he should be used as a trainer and set as an example for other associates. Thank you for such excellent customer service.

Came here the other morning before work for a tire patch. It was taken care of super quick I was still able to make it to work on time. Dale was very helpful and friendly during the whole process. Would recommend for great work and fair price.

Weve all been to lots of auto repair and tire service centers. We women in particular always have our guard up, but in my three years going to Tire Choice I have always felt that I am being listened to, getting honest diagnoses and estimates, and receiving efficient, high quality service. The entire team at Tires Choice on South Dale Mabry is absolutely amazing. I have taken all of my vehicles to them for the past 7 years. From my 1991 Honda Accord that is a project car, to my 2018 Mercedes Benz. The staff is polite, knowledgeable and the work is always done on time and as promised. Today I took my 70 year old mother And her Mercedes to get an oil change and they did another amazing job. Didn’t try and upsell her on anything and the manager is extremely friendly. I highly recommend them for all of your automotive needs.

The South Tampa Tire Choice location has great staff and excellent service. Ive been taking my car there for years, for all of my service needs. During my most recent visit, Dale exceeded my expectations. He went above and beyond to make sure that my car was back in perfect running condition and even followed up with me, after my repairs, to make sure that my car was was running well. I highly recommend this location.

Pulled in close to closing time with serious piece of metal in the rear tire of my Escalade. I was from out of town and about to be seriously late for a dinner meeting. I believe the manager’s name was Edcar Nunez who put somebody right on it. Amazingly the technician was able to patch and save the tire and rebalance. The whole process took less than 30 minutes!Awesome customer service for an out of towner. Thanks guys great job!!

I am always happy with the quality of the service and the prices here. My family and I have been customers for years now. I trust their diagnosis and they are very quick at making sure your needs are addressed promptly. Peter at the front desk is a really nice, down to Earth guy and he is good at effectively communicating what is wrong with your car and how it can be fixed.

DECEPTIVE SALES PRACTICES. STAY AWAY FROM DALE @ TIRE CHOICE AUTO SERVICE ON S DALE MABRY. I took my car to Tire Choice on S Dale Mabry. Dale the service person came out and told me I should replace the front tires on my RR Sport and said me he was putting the same Goodyear Eagle 4x4 tires on my SUV. He put the same tires on a persons car the previous day. He said he was giving the cheapest option they had. I came back later in the day to have the tires replaced and when it was done, Dale told me that he actually did not put the same tires on my car, he put on Goodyear sports(which is a much cheaper tire) because the tires I have are no longer available. I did not protest because they were also Goodyear. I drove the car over the weekend and the tires vibrated wildly even at low speeds. I called Goodyear and said they said that my tires were not out of stock. I came back to the shop Monday and I explained to Dale that I did not want these tires and needed a better option. He then proceeded to get an foul attitude and said that he never told me he was putting the same tires on my car and then said I accused him of being liar. I stayed very calm. He went to the back and said, “your old tires are still here, and we’re going to put them back on and refund you because you called me a liar”. Dale is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. He needs to be educated on customer service and I will never be going to Tire choice again. I replaced my previous tires with Tire Kingdom and will be going back to them. Such a waste of time and money. There are tones of tire shops on s dale mabry, STAY AWAY FROM DALE AND TIRE CHOICE. Will update this once I get my car back.

I called ahead and he gave me an appointment for the next morning, when the appropriate tech would be in— super grateful for them not wasting my time! The next day they fixed my car by close of business and the AC works again! There was no pressure to do anything I didn’t want, and Leon was patient with all my questions. They even helped me save some money, which I appreciated a lot.

Leon saved the day for me. End of the work day and he still found time to squeeze me in and help me save some money. Would highly recommend this business to others. Nice having a trustworthy shop to have my vehicles serviced.

I’ve been to Tire Choice on S. Dale Mabry twice now. Both times I’ve been greeted by friendly staff and given quick and high quality service at a reasonable rate. As a younger woman with terrible luck (2 punctured tires in a weekend), I’m cautious of mechanics that try to talk me into paying for more than I need. Everyone at Tire Choice makes me feel extremely comfortable and informed so I can make decisions without being pressured into more expensive options. Fingers crossed that I don’t need any tire service anytime soon, but if I do I’m definitely coming back to Tire Choice.

Tires Choice did an excellent job servicing my vehicle. I initially went to Tires Plus across the street, which advised me that it would be a two hour wait for a simple tire patch. So, I drove across the street to Tires Choice where I was greeted by Peter and Derek. They immediately were able to service my vehicle and patched my tire without hesitation. They also went the extra mile and took my spare off, placed it back in the spare port, and reinstalled my original tire. Peter and Derek were very helpful and courteous. Hands down the best customer service I have ever received. I will most definitely be back and I encourage everyone to go across the street to Tires Choice for good customer service.

Chuck and the crew were great. I was surprised by a flat tire when I went to the garage today. Topped off the air and headed straight to Tire Choice (per great ratings). Chuck is very personable, helpful and professional. Hard to find a shop that focuses on treating their customers like people vs numbers. Chuck accommodated me at the end of the day with a tire assessment and repair that keep the guys well after closing time. And for that, I am very grateful!!! This is a modern auto shop with old fashioned values. When you go here, expect to be treated right. The guys in the shop explained everything in a simple, but not condescending way. They made sure I knew exactly what I was getting charged for and what work was going to be done. They even went out of their way to find me a couple coupons to help bring down the cost. They believe in putting the customer first, and charging a fair price for parts and service.

Peter and his team always go above and beyond every time I’m there! Even if it’s is for a simple oil change. I stopped going to my local guy up the road because the travel time is worth the service I receive when I go here.

I keep getting low air pressure warning,so I did take care of it. And its good for a couple days and the warning light back on again, so after third time!! I gave up. Take my car to Tire Choice and mechanic take a look and fix the tire nail in itThe reason that I give Tire Choice 5 stars is because the honestly of them.Because I asked do I need to get a new tire and the manager explained to me that tire is fixable,no need to replace them and no charge for services!! So, I am a Tire Choice customer for life !!

Perter is very enthusiastic, professional and courteous. He took care of all my SUV needs: brand new tires, oil change & brake fluid change. He prioritized my vehicle and got it done before the allotted time, which I appreciated it very much. He made a new repeat customer today.

When my mother needed assistance with all 4 new tires she received excellent and professional service by Peter. He really went above and beyond to make sure she got everything she needed.

I would give them a zero if I could. I am going to report them to the BBB. My car blew a water pump causing the serpentine to come off. Hence I also lost my power steering. I took my car there as I worked one building down from them. They wanted to charge me 1500 dollars!!! I priced the replacement parts and they were less 60.00 dollars. I wanted to take my car back to my business and have AAA tow it to my mechanic. I was informed that in order to do that I had to pay them 142.00 because they had done a diagnostic test already. I was furious! Within five minutes of arguing with Peter the manager, he dropped the price four hundred dollars. Now it became 1,099 dollars. I just gave up and let him fix it. I needed my car. When I returned to get my car I asked for the diagnostic test results to give to my mechanic. There were NONE. He informed me that a mechanic had just opened the hood and took a look around!!! 142.00 for someone to take a look????? I asked them to check my oil as my car does not have a dip stick. It is located under the car. Did they give me that request???? NO. I will never give them my business again. They are a rip off. Tow it to your mechanic!!! I am going to post a sign in my car window every day to warn people of their unfair business practices!!! They can go to hell.

So last week my car unfortunately broke down on me so I had to get it towed to tires choice. Come to find out my alternator went out but Peter and his staff diagnosed the issue and fixed it in record time🙏 they did an awesome job and didnt break the bank, will continue to be a repeat customer when needed.

Great overall service with Chuck. He was able to help me out with a new tire after explaining to me the risks of trying to plug my tire versus just buying a new one. I didnt feel like he was trying to push any sort of sale on me and he was very clearly taking a customer-first approach. I will be a return customer.

As a ride share driver I have been very skeptical of auto shops but these guys are really great and provide great service. Peter listened about the issues with my car and my budget. He offered many options and offered me help with their credit service. I didnt think I would qualify but to my surprise I did. I was able to get more done to my car and paid little out of pocket. Now I can pay for what I got done over 6 months at no interest. They really helped me out and my car is working great again. Their mechanics know exactly what they are doing and they are professional. I dont trust mechanics often but this team and store has my full faith and confidence. Replaced 4 tires and an alignment. Gave the best price out of 4 places we shopped. Dropped it off with no appointment, and they had it done in 1hr.

I came in for a simple oil change and low pressure check. Little did I know there was a hidden 8.28 Shop Supply Fee that represents the costs and profits to the motor vehicle repair facility. They also forgot to tell me there was an object in my tire that they had to leave in there until I was paying. They mentioned some ways to fix it but they didnt want to try. Annnd I had to ask to run through the checklist on my car since they didnt offer any info. Hard pass on this shop.

I needed an oil change for a road trip. I tried a business down the street that was open til 7 and at 6:20 they told me it was too late to get it done. I called Tire Choice and they told me they would be happy to do it. They handled the oil change with a free tire rotation and checked my tire pressure as well. They were fast and extremely courteous despite having to stay 20 minutes past their closing time to complete the work. I am sincerely appreciative of their commitment to service and I will continue to do car maintenance through them.

Manager Peter Lopez Llanos was very professional and helpful. He let me know when I could bring my vehicle in with the least wait time and he kept me informed of the progress. He made sure I was aware of my options and made recommendations but with no pressure - I really appreciated that. The work was done promptly on my SUV. I believe that they were thorough (they said they reset the notice light which not everyone remembers to do when getting an oil change) but I also think that they worked steadily because my wait time was not too bad (~1 hour) for an oil change, tire rotation, wheel balance, and overall check. I have used this Tire Choice location before and I will do so again in the future. Pleased with the service and staff.

I took my car there and the Mgr. on duty tried to charge me $800. for a brake job two other places said I didnt need. It use to be a good place when Ken was there.

I recently visited this location in South Tampa on 03/18/19. The manager, Chuck, has been in the business for decades and for good reason. He is very good at what he does, provides excellent customer service, and is knowledgeable about tires.Admittedly, I dont think this is the cheapest place to get tires or have your car serviced, but it will likely be done right.

If you need anything done go in and see Derek. Derek first off knows exactly what he’s talking about and second knows nobody likes to spend money and will help you as best as he can. I recently had a lug but break and noticed it and he told me when I come back with my new ones they will put them on free of charge written and signed because they worked on my tire and had noticed the problem. On top of that he’s a great guy to talk to that will make the wait a lot less of a burden.

I went an entire choice at 5:10 in the afternoon and they werent closing until 6:00 but they were so lazy they would not help me and I was driving on a flat tire I called tire kingdom down the road on Henderson and they told me go ahead and come in they would stay late and help me and they did and I was in and out of there in 10 minutes.

More of a quantity over quality type of shop. My favorite part is that the guy at the front desk describes the work their doing like its a long, difficult process when I know its a simple job. It must be a way to protect their pricing because it is expensive here. I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Alex took excellent care of me. I was taken in right away at 6 p.m. with an hour until close. He gave me a number of options and suggested a particular tire to use on my car.
