The service technicians did an excellent job installing my front rotors and ceramic pads today. Quick, speedy service too! Now its a world of difference when braking, for the better of course. They worked hard to find ceramic brake pads that cost the exact same dollar amount as the incorrect brake pads I supplied and I was not expecting that level of honesty, so they went above and beyond my expectations on that and Im happy to have chosen The Car Shop. Its a real nice place to get your vehicle serviced and I felt like they valued my business as much as I valued theirs. I had a very bad vibration. They diagnosed and fixed the problem with new pads and rotors as the rotors were warped from hard braking and going through puddles (it’s a jeep, what can I say, it is drawn to puddles). Reliable honest service is what you will get from Brian and his crew.

I have been going to The Car Shop for years. Its the only shop I trust to not rip me off and fix my car the right way. I just had an issue with my AC compressor and they got it handled fairly quick as well as changed my lightbulb in my headlight because they noticed it was out.

My insurance recommended this place to me when my car broke down on 275 the other day. They are friendly and communicate with you what is happening with you car and how they will fix it. They were even kind enough to change my oil and fix a tail light that was out. It was my first time there but I will be back.

Brian runs an honest, good repair shop. Hes always done right by me. A very trust worthy place, a woman can feel comfortable bringing her car for repairs. Ive had other shops try to rip me off. He even has me bring my old car in, to look it over, before I take it on out of state trips.

I found Brian, the owner, by chance when I asked the manager of the Advanced Auto Parts store on Fowler for a recommendation of a good mechanic. I have been very impressed. I have gone twice now and always had good service.

They did an excellent job on my car! Thanks to Brian, a nice owner of the store, honest and very reasonable price. My car had an AC evaporator leaking issue and needed to be replaced, but the Toyota dealer would charge me for $2800, it was so so expensive! Then I searched and found this store offer me a very reasonable price: $1055 including tax for the whole replacement. No store in Tampa could beat it. In the three days my car was put in the store, Brian kept me updated every day, and fixed a minor issue (a plastic part on the dashboard replacement) for free. Very nice and highly recommended! I finally found an auto store I can trust and rely on.

I have been going to The Car Shop for a little over 3 years now, and Brian offers what we all want---not to get ripped off. I used to go to the El cheapo shops and the ones with the big advertising budgets, and they were the same; they tell you one thing, then add on an additional $500 when the bill comes. Brian is straight up honest and doesnt hit you with a surprise. I recommend The Car Shop to all of my family and friends.

While they do decent work at a fair price, I cannot recommend the shop to my friends. I recently discovered the shops Facebook page where they found it necessary to post rape jokes among other questionable content. These days we have the ability to be more discerning about who to patronize and linking your personal and political beliefs to your business will absolutely affect your bottom line.

This place is amazing, they go above and beyond to care for the cars and the customers that drive them. I went in for an oil change ( which cost less than I had expected to pay) and that included the oil, a lubrication and they checked the panel for warning lights. My tire inflation light was on and they aired them up and reset that light as well. Super Service, fast and friendly. Stop in and see for yourself :)

Cant believe what I have seen about this fine establishment in the last 12 hours. Something definately is not right here. This place has been in business over 25 years, and have very rarely had a bad review. They are top rate and as honest as they come, almost to a fault. These people have appeared out of nowhere to try and destroy a 25 year reputation. Shame, Shame on you guys. Dont you have something more productive to do. This is evil and vile. If you have any doubts about this company, check with the Better Business Bureau, at least, at the bureau they make sure the complaints are from HONEST customers. One of those guys cant even spell the Owners name correctly, so chances are, it is some sort of sick joke. NOT FUNNY

Ive been using the car shop for over 7 years. They always have my car done correctly the first time, on time. And they have delt with some real girl explanations when the car died.Also have been exceptional with my elderly mother. Never over charging when she needed stuff done.We have so much respect for this place. Hopefully will be able to do more buisness with them for another 7 years. Keep up the great work.

The Car Shop does excellent work, and also help people in our community. A local animal rescue organization had gotten ripped off by someone who sold her a junk car. Brian had a car at his shop that was in great condition, and he made her a great offer for it, and it is perfect for her needs.

We had tons of respect for Brian but after him selling us the biggest lemon in America and it breaking down repeatedly on us. We absolutely got screwed out of 6500 bucks on that car and you sir will never ever see a dime from us and we will never recommend this shop to even our enemies

Owner is nice and seems honest

Brian is awesome. Tbey are very honest and fair. He has always gone above and beyond to help me, and my car. He even thoroughly explained why my turbo froze and how to prevent it from doing it again.

First of all $95 just to look at my car .that a 100. And thats still not the problem. I know how they stay in business this long but this is not business. So if you on a budget this is not the place for you if you like I can send you a hundred just to look at it tell you what the problem is and I made $100 off back this is not right. Terrible experiences with The Car Shop- My car had gone for service multiple times and its come out with so many issues than what it actually came in for. Theyll fix something, but other issues will crop up suddenly from visiting this shop. If you want to get ripped off, go here and ask for Bryan, hell take your money and cause you more problems.

We found Brian and The Car Shop several years ago on the NPR program Car Talks website. That was a great day! I have a pretty old Toyota which I dearly love. It has over 200000 miles on it and with Brians help and the help of his crew I hope to get many more. I bought a much newer toyota, same model, it doesnt compare. My husband likes it so he uses it. Brian runs his shop with common sense, courtesy and values. He tells it straight and does great work. Ive recommended his shop often.

Been to many shops in Tampa - this one was the first that I was treated like a person, Brian listened to what the problem was and had vehicle fixed in no time. Other shops were baffled! The Car Shop is the only place we have our vehicles serviced now. A little higher in price - but you get what you pay for!
