After checking various models on the website - I went to my local Mattress Firm store to do a physical test to compare the feel of memory foam and box spring in firm and medium models and within less than five minutes decided on the mattress I wanted. We went in to get a relatively cheap mattress set. The customer service was outstanding! Instead of just selling me junk, he took the time to show us many options. Last night I stopped into Mattress Firm to just receive information in regard to a mattress purchase in the future.I met with a wonderful salesman named Josh Chamis. He is a mattress scientist. I have a complicated situation in terms of having no existing frame to place a mattress. It is a long story. Josh figured out in five minutes how to get around the problem. He knew about the mattress I purchased from a different company ten years earlier. That is how he figured out what could be done.That mattress cost a fortune and was never right, to the point that I have been sleeping on an Aero Bed for five years.Josh had me try around 4 mattresses! Alas, I found the perfect one. I also purchased an awesome comfortable pillow and mattress cover!Mattress Firm is more than fortunate to have Joshua Chamis working for their company. They lost a big sale today! My wife and I came in to replace our mattresses for ourselves and our children, as we walked into the store, the sales person recognized another customer (obviously they had previously been working together on a deal) coming in behind us, and decided to take that customer first without even so much as acknowledging my wife and I. We waited and boiled over for about 15 minutes as he finalized the deal with the other customer before headed for the door; at which time he said “ I’ll be with you in a minute“...The greeting was about 20 minutes late and cost your store thousands of dollars.

He knew incredible details about the manufacturing of the bedding materials, the different companies involved and, best of all, the pros and cons of every type of demo on the showroom floor.
