Big 5 has been my go to store for athletic equipment, fishing, swimming, exercise, golf, camping, etc. gear, and trainer shoes for many years. This location is especially nice. I like the setting and neighborhood. Big 5 staff have always been professional, welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful.

Its a sports store with a variety of equipment. Be mindful of the store policy if you want to buy a knife or something of that nature.

I am definitely going back to buy some shoes. I explained to them that I was looking for my size which is 10 and 1/2 wide. And then I wanted to see what shoes I liked in my size. The associates understood and allow me just to look. I will be back to buy shoes.

The people at Big 5 Sporting Goods are super helpful and very nice. The gun workers are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful in getting you what you need. They answered all of my questions quickly and gave me their honest opinions. They sell wonderful things for self defense too. I would highly recommend this awesome establishment

Not too bad , location is good its⁰ a sporting goods store, next to a gym in that sense it should be doing excellent imo it could be a lot better on arrival got a old fashioned feeling from it. Sometimes feels cramped and the stuff thats on display (seasonal) oh no. I like the shoe and firearm dept the rest probably wouldnt go near the stuff.

I had a horrible experience at a retailer just before I went to big 5. I came in looking for shoes expecting someone to be annoyed with helping me like at the previous store. But it wasnt. I know its just shoes, but the kindness and courtesy CONNOR gave me while I explored my options was exponentially better than my preconception. Connor helped turn a sour note in my day into a concerto! A little over the top but thats how I felt. You never know what someone is dealing with and Connor just helped my day tremendously. Thanks buddy👍

Too much inventory and rarely find anything that I wouldnt get from Amazon instead, but I like their tennis ball selection.

One of the only places I can find size 14 shoes not the best selection but hey at least it fit. They got a lot of good shoes for you small footed people to.

This is my store. Their bread and butter is obviously sports and outdoors items. But they have so much more. I subscribe to their email coupons and always save big when a good deal comes around. I buy clothes, shoes, basketballs, and camping stuff usually. Come Christmas time, they have the best last minute gift ideas trust me! Come in and take a look, youll find something you might need.

Very clean and well organized store, some Big 5s Ive been too are pretty chaotic. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Its our new go to spot for sporting goods.

They have some cute stuff in there for kids and women. The men had some fits Im sure guys are looking for but dont think of that particular store to have it. Brand name fits. A little more pricey but you probably wont see it on everyone.

Staff was cool despite no one being available to help with navigation due there being 2 customer available staff. The store has a simple layout so its not a big deal

Big 5 at Westwood Village is a great place to get camping & sporting things. I picked up a pair of Coleman steel toed work boots for $27.00 last Saturday! The staff are very helpful, they know where things are and are knowledgeable about the products. If its for hunting, camping, sports, workout, etc. they will have it and at a fair price.

Great staff! Welcoming and attentive. Very interesting fish stories from customers. Felt like we should all be drinking coffee while listening to and telling stories. Unusual small community feel for an urban setting.

Friendly service, the gentleman checking out was genuine and helpful, the only thing I wished they had were larger swim caps that arent the rubber ones. The rubber ones can break hair. Besides that, this place is great, really affordable.

Handy location for us. Some outdoor stuff, but this store has a heavier focus on urban exercise stuff then other Big 5 stores. Recommend parking east of Starbucks, south of Bank or America. Westwood Village repainted the parking lines in front of Big 5. They are micro spaces now.

Big 5 has a ton of sports gear - I can always find whatever I need. With daughters thay play a variety of sports (and who frequently lose things like shin guards and mouth guards), this store is always good in a pinch. Prices can be better when buying online but, you cant beat the convenience.

Big 5 seems to be going down hill and has been for a while. They have a good selection of workout clothes but for anything else theyre kind of gimmicky. They have a lot of things in every department but a lot of times its the bottom shelf version of it. Dont expect most of their stuff to last you very long. This location is very cave like, cluttered, and feels like its going to crumble at any moment.

Its a big 5 which if youre a frequent shopper you know they offer a more or less decent balance of quality products at affordable prices. Exceptions exist of course as we all know. The true value of this location is th fact that its hidden in a way that you can get the really good deals that in other locations may have already been cleared out (becuase there exist people with enough money to stock up on items and leave the rest of us wishing wed have come sooner), the downside of the matter is sometimes they just didnt receive the items youre looking for to begin with and well it is a hidden location and your told ____s big 5 still has/just sold its last one, etcBut friendly staff and next to a Starbucks so thats something . . . Right?

Customer service was excellent and polite. Prices were far and or below normal department stores. Cashier was funny and informative on savings at Big 5.

I was waiting on a cab to go home today from the dr and big 5 employees racial profiling told by the security guards that we were there too long and wanted us to move but if u know Westwood village it is all kinds of stores where I was sitting there in the middle and my son was walking around from store to store but reminded u we are African American so with that been said Caucasian men stand there to a homeless man and racism is very real I was very embarrassed this is crazy why me I love people I will ever shop at BIG 5. again the people in this store Westwood village Seattle, WA 98146

I never really use to like big 5 but after visiting this one and getting help to find ehat i needed at the most affordable prices. i have to admit i actually really like big 5 now. they have weekly sales and theyll even send you emails with deals regularly. suprised i didnt take advantage of some these deals earlier.

With coupons and special sales, Big 5 has some great deals to be had. The employees at this Westwood Village store is always friendly and helpful. Parking is ample and convenient. And the store is among other useful stores and services such as Staples, QFC, Marshalls, 24 Hour Fitness, Target, post office and many others. The mall itself looks clean, more upscale, welcoming and safe. Westwood Village has come a long ways on improving its image. I usually perfer to come to this Big 5 than others in the area.

I admittedly dont shop here often, but the staff has always been friendly, and patient with my needs of shopping with an autistic child. Also, had a no fuss, no muss return handled quickly and efficiently today.

Theyre always great. Sadly I went for some shoes and the on sale selections were rather low, but its expected when youre shopping for 30$ shoes.

I went to this store to do a little Christmas shopping. I was in the store less then 5 minutes when I was asked by a store employee What are you doing here meaning in the store. The young man followed up with what do you want. When I told him I was there shopping and did not need his help he stood there just glaring at me. He spoke to a fellow employee who then approached me I told him I didnt require help he too stood close by just staring at me. When I realized these kids had profiled me as a shop lifter U I was at first embarassed but that quickly became anger and I left that store vowing to not return. I have never been treated as rudely by an employee at a retail store as I was today. All I can say is Merry Christmas to everyone at the Big5 at Westwood Village and hope they too find this seasons spirit and their eyeglasses.
