Nico did an excellent job on my tattoo. He did the outline first then 2 weeks later did my color. Went back 2 weeks later and got one with no color. Great atmosphere very clean. Im sure Ill be going back for more.

I REGRET coming here. I got a matching tattoo with my girlfriend and we decided to go with a sunflower. Our tattoo artist name was “Dragon”. The tattoo was horrible, literally HORRIBLE!!!!!!! It scabbed up so bad that the ink came off as if he was going over the same spot numerous times. The part where it scabbed was so deep into our skin. He forgot to even color in the leaf on part of the sunflower. The middle of the sunflower doesn’t even look right, it looks like a nipple. Literally no detail at all looked nothing like the picture that was shown to him. Had to wait when getting there on time for the appointment because he needed to smoke his cigarette. I hope I find someone soon who can cover it up. Good luck to whoever goes here cause I don’t understand how this place even has a high rating. Will be posting pictures soon of the tattoo to whoever sees this comment when looking at the images for this place

I had a wonderful experience. The piercer was incredible with my 6 year old daughter getting her very first ear piercings. She then was awesome with me as I got my second nostril piercing. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning!

I have always traveled back to get any work done, until yesterday when I sought out Ink Therapy for a special tattoo. Ink Therapy is clean and professional. Alysse was our Tattoo artist and was able to convey our grandmothers handwriting on each of my sisters arms perfectly. Given how special our grandmother was to us, Im thankful to have found an artist that could excecute this. Alysse is easy to work with, professional and I would definitely sit in her chair again. Drove my sister an hour to get a small tattoo and no one wanted to do it when the shop was empty. We called in advance to driving there and my sister was told they could get her in. Alyssa was super nice . But overall I was disappointed that no one else was very friendly. I was refered there by a friend who got a sleeve done. But will not be going back . She ended up getting her tattoo done at Twisted Sixes in durham. It looks great !

I came here to have my septum pierced. When I arrived they didnt have any basic jewelry for the piercing, so I had to run to another close by shop to get a horseshoe or wait until the next day. Well Alyssa walked me through the process and was very professional and clean, just upon getting the piercing it was crooked and off center. I had a friend who currently has a septum look at it and she unfortunately agreed.Ink Therapy issued me a refund.

Ink Therapy is very dope! Nico Boncales does amazing work and is an avid supporter of local entities. Not only did he design a graphic for my bands EP, but he put it on my skin (which looks amazing), and he let us put on an EP release party/show at his shop! Ink Therapy also sets up a vendor spot at the brewery I work at here in town on our First Fridays. Local support at its finest, and tattooing at its finest. Definitely go get some ink here!

I was trying to get an estimate to get a small matching tattoo with a friend from out of town and was told there was a $50 chair fee, non refundable and doesnt go towards the cost of the tattoo. For a small tattoo that really wouldnt make it worth it. Never heard of a chair fee before 🤷‍♀️

Nico is a great tattoo artist. My entire experience with him was very enjoyable, relaxed, and professional. He was so patient with me even when I asked him to redraw the tattoo multiple times and make little changes here and there about spacing and placement. He waited for me to be completely satisfied with the design and the position on my skin before tattooing. I was probably a difficult client due to my perfectionism, but he was just chill and enthusiastic with me the whole time. I got my first and second tattoos with Nico, and I’m planning out my third now.

Absolutely best shop Ive been to. A lot of shops make it seem like theyre doing you a favor instead of you being a paying customer but not here. Fun and friendly enviornment. Exceptional work from Mr. Dragon and will be going back for all my future work.

I went here to get a memorial sleeve for my fiancé that was killed back in May. Nico took my idea and has turned it into an absolutely beautiful piece. He’s a great artist and loves the work that he does. The atmosphere in the shop is awesome, you truly feel welcomed when you walk in there. Will definitely be back.

Nico is literally the best! I was planning on using another shop to get my half sleeve in memory of my father but I went there to watch a friend get her tattoo and loved his work so I booked an appointment with him and I couldn’t be more grateful for the time, effort, and thought that he put into my tattoo! I got my belly button done here and honestly it was fantastic! Rob was my piercer and he made me feel so safe and secure. I was scared but he helped keep me calm (I have a slight fear of needles). Fantastic pricing and everyone was very polite! Also did a great job with replacing a nose piercing for my friend. Great place!

My second tattoo at Ink Therapy. I love the shop atmosphere and how clean and organized it is. Nico is super talented and really puts his heart into the work. While you sit in the super comfortable chair getting your ink, there is a big flat screen for you to watch. Get your ink and catch up on Netflix you’ve missed! Best of both worlds.

Nico is awesome. I have only used him since finding him! He did amazing on a matching tattoos with my mother and a cover up! You cant even see what used to be there! His work is always amazing!
