I found the vehicle I wanted to look at online. When I called to set up a test drive Marko answered and set everything up for me. When I arrived to the dealership for the test drive, I thought the vehicle had a funny smell. I couldn’t tell if it was the vehicle or from the outside so I asked if he noticed a smell and he didn’t. The process from the test drive to purchase was the fastest process that I’ve ever had buying a vehicle. I will add it was a weekday. I give them 4 stars because while their service was great the vehicle itself needed to have the cabin air filter replaced. They had to transfer the vehicle from another location and this is something they should have noticed and addressed then. I ended up changing the filter myself the next day and everything else has been fine so far.

Kevin Adams took care of me even before I stepped foot on the lot! He knew I was coming from out of town and in need of a new vehicle and he was so kind, patient, & informative throughout the whole process. As a first time buyer, things can get stressful but Kevin took great care of my needs & made the process extremely easy. Unlike most salesmen, he was honest and not aggressive nor did I felt like he was pressuring me into purchasing the vehicle. I visited other dealerships in town and experienced a few bumps on the road but I had ZERO ISSUES with Kevin. Highly satisfied with his customer service & recommend him to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle at Jeep San Diego. 10/10 for Kevin! Also, a big shout out to Robert K. for getting my insurance dilemma situated. Couldn’t drive off the lot without his help.

Poor customer service, could never get through to a live person, was hours before a call back. Once in for service could only communicate via text via an invoice....., which again with no response. Had to go in to get answers to my questions. I realize they are busy, but should not be at the expense of good customer service. What is happening inside a company is felt on the outside by the customer.

Salesman and finance were great. Negotiated the price over the phone and caught a flight to San Diego to purchase their Jeep Wrangler. I was picked up at the airport, test drove it and agreed to purchase the jeep. I noticed the interior was dirty, dog hair in the carpet, the seats were stained and spider webs on the spare tire. While I was doing the financing the Jeep was gettingDetailed. I assumed detailed meant interior cleaned and shampooed in addition to the exterior washed so I didnt bother inspecting it. 7 hour drive home and the next day I looked over the Jeep and realized they DID NOT do anything to the interior. Called the sales manager and he had the salesman call me to find out the details. I explained the situation and sent him photos. I told him the local detail shops wanted $200-$250 to detail the interior. The sales manager agreed that it wasnt cleaned and offered to reimburse me a $100 with a receipt from a detail shop but didnt feel that he should pay for the whole detail.....the $100 didnt cover 1/2 of the interior detail. Told him to keep his $100, hopefully my review costs the company more than the cost of the detail. My fault for not thoroughly inspecting the Jeep!!

Upheld every fear of going to a dealership for service. On a crosscountry road trip and stopped in to get my oil changed and tire rotation. Discovered in the next state that they never replaced the lid to the oil fill back on. I called and sent pictures. I had to buy an oil cover from a dealership in Arizona. I called too so if they could send invoice to dealership in Arizona so I dont get charged for their mistake. Took my name and number and never called me back. Shameful! Not even a reply that they couldnt send invoice just ignored. And I was on hold to get to service department for 20 min.

Just bought my 2018 Toyota Mirai from this dealership! They were very helpful, very patient, and got us a really good deal! I am very grateful for these people. My sales rep was Scott! He went above and beyond for us, gave me advice (my first time buying a car) and helped me through the entire process. If youre looking for a *no bs* sales rep, I recommend him. Also! The gentleman Mike from finance was very helpful as well, he printed our plates and was really nice. And the gentleman with the Olive skin and had a Spanish accent, he looked and acted very professional (I forgot to ask for your name, I apologize 😭) was so patient with us in both sessions before and after money payment. He made things simple and easy and let us read the documents as much as we wanted, and worked with our bank to process the payment. He did our paperwork and was so patient and that was something I appreciate very much. Have had zero problems with the car I bought (was used with ~18k miles) and this dealership even washed my car free of charge. 😭💖 Thank you so much for this pleasant first experience!

Let me first start off by saying that this will be my 6th car ever. I visited this store on 10/24/21. I worked with Eric. I was clear about my price range, monthly payments and down payment. I was also clear that I would complete a credit app after we agree with numbers. After only speaking with the manager. I was told that I needed to put down 5k on a 13k car with a trade in going for 19k. I was told that although my credit hasnt been ran that because my situation was similar to someone else they assume I would need the same. This dealership is money hungry and does not listen to the needs of the customers. I was approved by similar car at the dealership nearby and and only put down $500. Im writing this review to let future buyers aware of how money hungry this place is. If you can avoid from coming here, I would.

They are the cure! Went to another dealer and negotiated on a Jeep Gladiator. Felt uneasy for three days. On a whim I went to San Diego Jeep where I had purchased a Jeep in 2008. I selected a Gladiator and the negotiations began. Smooth, easy comfortable transaction. I drove out in my new truck and have not had a single regret about the truck price or decision to go to San Diego Jeep. Marko and Sergio were extremely responsive to texts and chats, polite, respectful and clear at all times. Best decision I made going to San Diego Jeep.

At first I was disappointed when I arrived at the dealer because I had scheduled an appointment at their website for an oil change. When I arrived I was told it was first come first served. However, once I told Jose about the situation he offered me a ride home and a pick up for 4 hours later to go back and get my car. The service itself was great! They checked the car from front to back and made sure all was good. I would go back again. I do wish that they would re establish the scheduling process.

Terrible experience. They kept my car all weekend, didn’t have any rentals to use, and then tried to charge me almost $1,000 to change my batteries. I decided against the service because that is insane and when I went to get the batteries myself, I had them checked and that wasn’t even the issue. Turns out my alternator was the issue. You would think the actual dealership would catch that. My weekend was incredibly inconvenient because they kept my car, only to have them not even diagnose the problem correctly. Will not be returning.

I have not historically had any positive car buying experiences, but in this case it was and is worthy of a review. I visited 5 dealerships in the quest for our Jeep Wrangler. Essentially it is a crazy time to buy a car out there and no stock makes for a series of encounters with unmotivated salesmen, huge mark ups, and the haggling mentality which is overall unpleasant. This location however was different. I called and got Eric Sundquist on the phone. I confirmed the car was there, drove right over and completed the sale within minutes. There was no markup on the MSRP or any attempts to make me feel like we were being cheated in any way. Eric was our sales rep from start to finish and he was efficient, no-nonsense, and did an excellent job following up when I had a question after sale. He had no obligation to respond to me after I drove off the lot, but he took the time and care to do so and that is really an example of quality service. The finance manager Andrew was outstanding as well. The loan process was quick and fair and package options were clearly explained. Finally, a service rep by the name of Kent called me to answer a question and I was so pleasantly surprised by the call and the followthrough. I think it is a true example of team work and a well run operation. The office space layout at this dealership is a bit odd, but the people that fill the space make it a great overall experience. I highly recommend this location for any car purchase.

For the past year I have been receiving urgent recall notices by mail for my vehicle, I have 4 filed away and just got another today...notice the highlighted section in the picture and on the others it states A loss of motive power can cause vehicle crash without prior warning and it is extremely important to take steps now to repair your vehicle to ensure the safety of you and your passengers. Sounds important right...even urgent?! Well...I do take the steps, and every time I call to schedule a service appointment for the recall(s) I get they same speech from the on call scheduler. Only a Service manager can schedule this and they will contact you.... and of course they never contact me! I am frustrated with with the zero communication and customer service. I find it ironic that they will contact me if I am paying for service, but if it is a recall (a free service) you get crickets!!!If I had a choice...I wouldnt even give them 1 star, but had to in order to post this.

My experience with the service department, informative and enlightening. I purchased my 1500 Ram Diesel Jan 2016. It’s been serviced by 3 other dealerships in the SD county. There always been a message warning that a brake light is out. I thought it was a glitch, the main brake lights on the box always worked. Flash forward, 68508 miles later, Santo at SDCDJR is the 1st service tech to actually have the rear brake light fixed on top of the cab. Having a service tech that pay’s attention to details is a must. I really trust and appreciate Santo! Thank You!!

The service was great! I previously scheduled a week in advance an appointment to get routine maintenance on my vehicle, however, the appointment was abruptly canceled the day before with no explanation. I proceeded to go in either way expecting a long wait, however, this guy Jose saved my day, he got me set up right away and had my car serviced and ready to go within a couple of hours. Can use a fix in the appointment system possibly, or maybe just a weird mix up, but regardless the service was on par and definitely saved my experience.

Absolute worst customer experience I’ve ever had. After having my car for almost 3 months I’m notified that I can finally pick my car up. (They had to replace my transmission and it took weeks for me to even get a rental seems they’d rather you die of a faulty transmission then provide a rental) I, being a decent human being, pay to wash the rental and even vacuum the inside and clean it before returning it. (Looks even better then when it was issued to me) I go to pic my car up and the rep there wasn’t even sure if my car was ready for pic up? After waiting awhile turns out that it is I am handed my keys. I go to my car and it is so dirty! Dirtier then when I left it! I start the car and the first thing that pops on is that it needs an oil change. Seriously? Not only that but there are new scratches all over the car and my digital screen on the inside look like it melted! Obvious that has been sitting in the sun with absolute no care. I take my car to go get it washed now so I pay for the rental wash and my own cars wash. And there is so much tree sap on my car that it still looks dirty. I start hand scrubbing my own car and that’s when I notice the new scratches. I’m looking to speak with corporate about my horrible experience. I recommend not getting a car here because they are only interested in selling a car to you and if anything goes wrong with the car that’s only the beginning of your bad experiences with this dealership.

My service experience was actually quite fantastic.I just walked in one day without an appointment to ask about a recall issue and this guy in an office saw me waiting and walked up and asked if he could help. To my surprise Jeremy was the service manager!I wasn’t prepared to leave my car that day, but let me drop it off the following week while I was on vacation. He got my car serviced and the recall done. And when I casually mentioned a weird paint thing and asked what he thought it was he recognized that something was very wrong and the issue wound up being that my new Jeep was rusting under the paint!It took a little time to get the repair approved and the body shop work done, but Jeremy kept me informed along the way without me even asking.I have truly been impressed with this dealership. From when I purchased my Jeep, to now my service experience👍

I wish I could get some help from some one at this dealership. Our vehicle broke down while in San Diego and was towed here for repairs last Monday. It was taken there due to the X-78 extended warranty given to many 2015 eco diesel owners. I received a voicemail from the dealership on Friday stating they had information Re: the repair and options. They asked that I call the service department on a direct line. I have called the direct line and four other numbers to the dealership only to reach a menu of other numbers that the voicemail box is full or out of order. I have spoken to a human four times after waiting on hold for 10 to 20 minutes. Those four individuals have stated they left messages for the service tech to return my call, one went so far as to say they would prioritize my call. As of this writing I still have not heard from the dealership or gained any information on our vehicle. I pray someone will call me after reading this plea!Well, I just spent another 27 minutes on hold to speak to the GM, only to be told that the person on the phone was NOT on site and could do nothing more to resolve this problem. ALL I ask for is a telephone call from the service tech who called me originally. If he had time to call me Friday why not Saturday, Monday or Tuesday.

Unfortunately, I arrived before 7 am, when they open, as indicated my Chrysler employees to be first in line for oil change. Two hours later, my car was still in line. The mechanic may have done an amazing work. However, three hours or more waiting for oil change for a new customer does not favor the customer services rates. I followed their advise and I was on times. I would rather have someone from first day that I would have to wait three hours for a few minutes of oil change. Pandemic is not an excuse anymore. Everyone is back working. We should not be waiting so long. Either they need hire more staff, or someone has to make sure that the customer and his/her time is valued.Chrysler is in the best location. The dealer sells like crazy. Care about your customers! Those will bring references, friends and family. Those will show the rates valuing excellent work when it’s deserve it. Waiting in line awful. Repair and oil change well done.Improve customer waiting and you will have five starts. Read reviews.If employees are w commission, I’m surprise that the service is not top notch. High expectations is a must in a good company.Thank you.

Recently brought my vehicle in for service for a couple of things: firstly, a diagnosis for the check engine light, which led me to a coolant service, sensor oil pressure, and a recall for software update. Which were all done and paid for.Then the AC stopped working. The car didn’t have any noticeable problems with the AC to begin with, and it was only done as it was advised by a service advisor. After a few days of back and forth with the service advisor, I was able to bring in the car again today at 7am (because they were going to push it through) since the AC wasn’t working properly, many times even at all. I was the first car on the lot at 6:30am, and although I came over to two individuals and explained the situation, I was ignored and was only able to have my service advisor check out my car at 7:20am when he arrived.I am a repeat customer at this dealership since I like things done properly, which is why I’m leaving 2 stars and will be updating my review once I’m done here.Update: after yet another diagnosis, they found that the blowing motor in the vehicle was failing, even though it wasn’t caught on the first diagnosis, and my air was blowing just fine before I brought the car in for service. I’m afraid to bring the car in again only for something else to randomly break and need service and repairs, too, like did I need a coolant service for real, or only the blowing motor (?) who knows.

While trying to register my 2010 Jeep Wrangler I realized I had a recall that needed fixing. I took it to the service department and was notified that there were 3 recalls needed: an airbag spring, master cylinder fix and a programming fix. I made an appointment for 2 weeks out. My wife and I share the Jeep and we had to coordinate on a day off so she could watch our son and I could take the jeep in at 8am.When I arrived, Fred told me that the parts for the first 2 recalls weren’t onsite and would need to be scheduled for a different day. I was then told that the vehicle would need to remain until 3:30 or 4pm for the programming recall. I was provided an Uber home but was told I would need to find my own transportation back.When I returned at 4:30pm (as this was the earliest time available for a ride to the dealership), I was informed by another service department employee that they were unsure where the Jeep was. After some searching it was located and I was told that nothing had been done to the vehicle the entire day and that all of the technicians had left for the day. I was told I needed to leave the Jeep overnight which is not an option for me since my wife worked early the next morning.I had to miss work/wages that evening because I was at the dealership well after my shift started.2 weeks wasted and I’m still in the same boat - registration due and 3 very serious recalls outstanding on my vehicle.

If I could give this review a zero, I would. I will never buy a jeep again. The Screen on my vehicle is delaminating. My car is newer 2018 I bought with 400 miles on Dec of 2019. I have attempted to get this issue with JEEP and they told me to pound sand. they want me to pay over $3K to fix my screen. This is the last time I ever Buy a Jeep!

Scheduled an appointment for warranty work 3 weeks in advance when I was going to be away and did not need car. Nothing was done, they had it for 3 days. Car still has issues and I don’t know when I will be able to schedule because there are no loaner cars available. Last time I was here in June they only did part of the warranty work. The work they did was good and they are nice, but poor management ruined experience.

Rather than call the customer to reschedule, because the Tech Advisor would be off for that day, the appointment booked in advanced was flat out cancelled. When called to understand reasoning for the abrupt cancellation, was also notified that could not be a waiter for my car (as originally scheduled) and would have to leave it. Unacceptable. Take your service business to another place.

Salesman was great. He promised me a second key (because there was only one with the sale). After many texts and a year had passed, I made an appointment from the lady who called me for an oil change. I arrived and Jose said no appointment was made. Jose fit me in for an oil change. I asked about the key again. The salesman gave the information to Jose who stated that it was too late in the day to code the key. He then made me an appointment for the next week with Fred. I showed up for my appointment and asked for Fred. While I was waiting, one of the service writers kept repeating come on big money over and over while helping a customer with a recall notice. I found it rude and annoying and definitely unprofessional. Fred showed up some time later and asked if I needed help. I said that I was waiting for Fred for an appointment. He said I am Fred, what can I help you with? I informed him that I had an appointment for a key. He asked Do we have the key in stock? I said how would I know? Jose made the appointment. He told me to have a seat and it would take an hour. 15 minutes later he came back and told me we do not have the key in stock. You need to come back. Do you want to make an appointment? I said yes, can I get one a little later so I do not have to miss work again. He said yes and made me an appointment. I will be making my third trip down there for a key that I should have had a year ago without any apologies. I hope all goes well. I will be going to a different Dodge dealer for my service needs from now on.

READ FIRST! The sales department and the service department are great people they are there to actually help which I love and is amazing the people that helped me were Mike, Jeremy, Sergio, the GM and Kent great people so very helpful. Now to the matter at hands Im not sure what is going on inside the garage when they are servicing the vehicles but when they added DEF to my truck they spilled all over my brand new truck and left a noticeable paint chip and dried up DEF fluid as seen on the images dont get me wrong the people upfront are amazing I did end up going back to make sure it would not damage my paint kinda wished they would have washed the whole truck but I just want to bring this up. Great team of employees!

Our salesperson was very nice and knowledgeable.However, the online price for the vehicle we came in for was not honored. We were given the choice of either paying for $2,000 worth of door handle guards and a SWAT GPS security system, which we absolutely did not want, and kicking rocks. Furthermore, we were told that we had no option but to buy a two year subscription to a useless theft replacement policy through the security company if we wanted the car. “It’s our markup and it’s non-negotiable, but at least you get something for it.” Lame. So my factory wiring harness is cut- not thrilling. My car’s GPS tracked at all times- also not thrilling. Somehow I walked out with no gap insurance, a ruined wiring harness, and a worthless security system that can be bypassed in five minutes. I’m having it removed.Car’s rad though, and they were the only ones with inventory during the shortage.

I purchased a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Willys Wheeler Edition from Charlie and I was impressed with the communication and service. Charlie worked with me to get this manual transmission Jeep that had taken me quite a while to find (I was considering purchasing from Florida and Alabama because used manual transmissions with low mileage are difficult to find). This dealership is a significant distance from me, but Charlie was responsive and helped me navigate my purchase, as agreed per our phone conversations, even with my children physically present during the final transaction. I have not had service from a dealership like this before and would recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a straightforward and direct approach.

I love this location! The staff is amazing! Everyone in every department knows who to direct you too if you have any questions or concerns. Every interaction I’ve had with the staff is exceptional! Jose Reyes is an amazing employee he works in the service department making sure your concerns on your vehicle are addressed! I drive in and he’s usually the first person I see waving at me, acknowledging that he saw me and that he will get to me as soon as he can after helping the customers that were there before me. I usually go for an oil change and I know the wait time can get pretty hectic but that’s because everyone is so kind. They address your concerns for your vehicle and out of courtesy they let you know what else your car is due for. He also make sure your paperwork is ready for you and gives you a call to let you know your vehicle is ready. Totally recommend! I also purchased my vehicle here in 2018! So 3 years strong!

After visiting almost every Jeep dealer in San Diego we finally got the deal we wanted at San Diego Jeep. Sergio our salesman was very patient and kind. My husband could not make up his mind on which trim of Gladiator he wanted and SD Jeep allowed us to test drive multiple cars. Another dealership here in San Diego told us we could only test drive the car after we completed an application (which was ridiculous). Three times, it took us three visits to this dealership to finally make a deal. It only took this long because we know how much we wanted to pay for this car. We sat down and applied at other Jeep dealerships and none would beat the deal we got at SD Jeep. I know that other dealerships are sticking to their prices because of supply and demand, but I will never understand how a dealership would rather lose a sale and wait for another customer to come and purchase the car at a higher price. Sadly National City Jeep did not want to lower their price on a 2020 model, I could not believe they are willing to hold on to last years model. Stan our finance guy is the best! Great experience. The lot was a little small and it did feel a little cramped but that’s my only complaint. When we pulled up we saw the vehicle we wanted to check out. It was a 2021 Gladiator and it was parked right in front of the office. They salesmen did not rush out immediately and let us check it out on our own with no pressure. When we had some questions Scott was great. He was a no BS kinda guy that gave us the facts and answered our questions honestly...or at least it seemed so. All in all we ended up leaving in a beautiful new Jeep and we love it so far. We are looking forward to many years with our little adventure mobile. 🌴😎

Bought my first car from this dealership - Staff was friendly and I felt confident about my purchase. However, less than 2 weeks after driving it off the lot, my car failed to start. I spent quite a bit of time, money, and effort for mechanics to diagnose and fix several issues. This has made me apprehensive about my new car. Additionally, I have found several small flaws in the used car that were not addressed. I am glad I have a car but I wish I was more thorough and could rely more on my ride!

Don’t let them touch your car! I went in for an alignment, ended up with a dead battery. They must’ve had the doors open, and/or let my head lights stay on (I had my head lights at auto on, when I picked up my car they were at the off setting)🤔 while doing the alignment then trying to sell me a $500 battery. Of course I refused, they kindly gave me a jumpstart and ended up broken down half a block away in the middle of the road during traffic hour for 3hrs. Had it towed to a shop and got a mopar battery for less. It was very careless and incompetent of them to let that happen.

Went in to finance and pick up a truck we had ordered. Placing the order through Curt was easy and a pleasant experience. However, we went in to finance the truck and had the worst experience ever. Scott gave us a rate of 4.9, asked for a lower rate if possible. Waited 2 hours with no communication and we were transferred directly to finance without knowing the numbers. Both the finance and the gentleman that deals with the banks had terrible attitudes and looked bothered the whole time we would ask a question. Eventually we got tired of dealing with them and went directly through Chase Bank. No one should have to deal with the amount of bs we went through with these two. Spare your time and go shop elsewhere.

I’ve reached out to the dealership about a question on my warranty due to issues I’m having with my 2019 Jeep. I’ve contacted them twice and have been told someone will call me back. I’ve been waiting for 3 WEEKS for this call back. When emailing someone they clearly don’t read my emails and asked if I’m still trying to buy a car from them?! Im disappointed with my service so far. I dropped my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee there yesterday for a recall inspection I had made and also asked them to replace some brake pads and a rotor. They wanted $800 for the 2 rotors and pads for the rear. I opted to go with one rotor and a pads for the rear. This would not be so bad but I didnt ever get a call on Monday to let me know what was going on with my vehicle. I had this appointment 2 weeks ago and feel like my vehicle was given the least priority possible not only in being seen by a tech but also by Jose my service advisor who seemed to be in a rush to get off the phone whenever we spoke. These repairs should have been fixed Monday or at least by Tuesday morning latest. I was about to do them myself but I figured I would give them the business since I had the appointment already. The Jeep wont be done till tomorrow evidently and they didnt even address my issues yet. Firestone would have done it all at a fraction of the cost on Monday. Also I had to get a rental out of pocket for 2 days costing $200. Honestly I just want my car back now...

If you’re going to have your car serviced here don’t even bother making a reservation, they will not honor it. They will inspect your car and upsell you everything your car needs, like quoting you for $180 windshield wipers. They will not let you know when the work is finish you just have to tell them when you see your car sitting on the lot to get your keys and pay. It took them five hours to do a an oil change.

In all the years of buying cars, this was the best and the most professional experience. Mike and Danny were amazing; they helped me get the car I wanted, treated me like a valued customer, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process of buying it. Even though the car was not available at their dealership, they went out of their way to find the car of my dreams and quickly delivered it safe and sound. I thought that buying a car during pandemic is going to be extremely difficult, but the opposite was true; we texted back and forth until we came to a mutual agreement, there was not pressure, and all I had to do was to come in, quickly sign the paperwork, and drive of with my new beautifully clean Pacifica. Very disappointing after-sales. Seems as if this location cares little once the vehicle leaves the lot. Been trying to get my permanent plates and they dont seem to have a mechanism in place to resolve anything outside of selling you a car. In fact when you reach out via chat they send you brochures on new models regardless of what your request was about. I have no issue with the sales team or the product but hard to see any repeat business when they dont have a team built to help.
