Fastest and easiest car shopping experience I’ve ever had. My salesman, listened, didn’t push, but worked to close the deal appropriately. He helped me to get the numbers and features where I wanted. Had dropped off my car on a Tuesday morning due to a serious VSA issue that turned out to be a result of my HRVs brake pedal not letting up to its original position, and was - later that day - informed that the service center would do its best to get the part replaced and ready for me by end of Friday or Monday. That meant I would not be getting my car back until then, in which I was flexible with not having a car to get around. Ended up getting my car fixed up Thursday evening, and was able to pick it up Friday morning. The car has been since running fine and the brake pedal operating just perfectly. I appreciated Ericks ability to keep me updated and well-informed about the issue. Many thanks!

I took my car in for service and was told all fluids topped off, everything checked. No windshield washer fluid. Still bone dry. Doesnt instill confidence that they ACTUALLY do everything they say they do. I like to feel confident in the place I take my car. There needs to be trust lol

Our salesman was knowledgeable and friendly. I was able to take the vehicle on a nice long test drive, some dealerships want you to drive around the block only. Fair no haggle pricing. Our only complaint ( most dealerships, not just here), it took four hours to complete the process. We came from out of state, had financing arraigned before we arrived. I had even commented the day I test drove the vehicle, that we didnt want to sit there all day. When we arrived at the agreed appointment time ( several days later and after a 5 hour drive to get there), none of the paperwork was ready, the car had not been washed or fueled. They knew we were coming from out of state, yet nothing was ready. They called us several time to ask when we would be able to return to complete the sale. And again, nothing was ready?

Nice people work here. I was buying a vehicle from out of the area. They had the vehicle I wanted at a reasonable price. When I arrived, the vehicle was ready for me, the paperwork went relatively fast, I was in and out of the dealership in about an hour. Also appreciate that they didnt do any high pressure tactics. Highly recommend buying through them when looking for a used car. My husband worked with DJ on getting an SUV from a different location. He got us a great rate on our loan and quick paperwork process. DJ made himself available to us as we have late working hours. The transition between test driving the car, to processing our trade-in then to running through all the paperwork, it went great.

Dropped my car off on a Thursday. Next day didn’t hear back from anyone. Called after 3pm to see if car was ready. Seriously couldn’t get anyone in service. I was consistently put on hold. Kept calling back, over 1/2 hour, still put on hold by operator. Finally had to call and talk to parts. Thankfully he didn’t put me on hold and was able to connect me with someone in service. How bad is it when service won’t pick your call but you have to find a way around by calling parts? Highly considering a new car this year and Pac Honda has made sure I don’t come back.

I had a 7AM appointment, I believe its the earliest possible appointment slot and had scheduled my appointment a week in advance. After arriving on time to have 4 tires replaced, the process took over 5 and a half hours. There was no indication it would take this long from the service advisor when I first arrived. Since this is an hour max procedure. After 3 hours I asked for the status of my car and was told it would take only 1.5 more hours! Which was not true since it took over 2.5 more hours at that point. There was no remorse for it taking more than half the work day. For reference I am a young woman and I think they took advantage of me. Truly horrible service. If you are a woman I would not suggest coming here because they will treat you as if you dont know any better. DCH Mission Valley Honda is much better, after I had an oil change there a couple months ago they even threw in a car wash. Nothing of the sort at this location. Will never come back here again

The staff at Pacific Honda went well beyond expectation to try to find just the right vehicle for me. They showed me about 10 different Vehicles. Ran around town and pick up vehicles for me to look at. Sat with me as we went through all the paperwork necessary to ultimately acquire just the right vehicle. Then work with me to ensure that I was perfectly satisfied with my recent purchase.Im not sure how other dealerships are with their customers. But the Pacific Honda staff made me feel like they were my advocates. Not just trying to sell me a car. They wanted the right fit and the right financing to make my life easier. Pacific Honda never disappoints! They offer drive up appts and manage to fit you in anytime of the day. Need a key remote replacement they have you covered, I also desperately needed new windshield wipers and Pacific Honda helped me out. No job is to small for them. I purchased a used vehicle from Pacific Honda in August. I received a Due Bill to have a part replaced on the interior of the door. No big deal. After not hearing anything for a week I followed up. I was given the run around by my sales person. I follow up for the next few weeks with no real answer of any sort. I always get a Ill call you back. Never did receive a call back of any sort. Over a month after purchase I finally get through to a manager. Turns out the part was never ordered. Dope. He says theyll get it ordered and give me a call. Never did. I replaced the part myself last week. Cost $50 and took me about 3 minutes. Thanks guys. Appreciate the service. Absolute trash. Way to uphold your end of a agreed upon contract.

Bought my 2108 Highlander here around 1.5 years ago. Wish I never came here at all. They sold me on a bumper to bumper warranty and my second time using it on my 3 year old car and they told me that my warranty wouldnt cover my problem. Had a mechanical error on a tailgate that led to body damage. They said theyd only cover the mechanical so I was left dealing with a $1000 worth of body damage. Do not buy a vehicle from this place. The Salesman and managers are all frauds!

I would also like to note that I visited several surrounding dealerships, and the customer service does not even come close to how great I was treated here at Pacific Honda. Their staff is very professional and helpful, and they made my first car purchase/lease experience very memorable. I am very thrilled and excited to continue business with this agency. In a time where the market was not doing so great, Pacific Honda made my experience a memorable and positive one. What a great experience working with Manny. He was so patient with me and all my questions. Showed me everything they had available that was of interest to me. No pressure at all.Let me know of future vehicles coming in and that I could actually put a deposit down on it and test try it upon arrival. Essential I would have firstright of refusal if I changed my mind. No penalty I get my money back, whata concept.Ultimately I bought a beautiful Honda Accord EXL Hybrid! Had a warranty issue with a car i bought about a month ago. I made an appt and well I still had to wait about 20 min longer which I was okay with since I know how busy they get. Someone came out asked me what the issue was and after that service advisor Gabriel helped me and the whole time he was informative called me with follow ups and called me again to let me know what time I could pick up my car. It is hard to enjoy the car buying process in most places. I was pleasantly surprised with the brutal honesty I appreciated from Austin! We first were met with a newer employee Jonathan, who was unsure about the specific workings of the truck we were there for. He did not try to BS us, he called Austin and worked together. I loved that they worked together and did not speak ill of each other. We were able to test drive the vehicle in the manner we wanted to, freeway, streets, etc. We negotiated a price we were happy with. Austin made sure we had the due bill for a few minor repairs that needed to be completed to ensure we were happy. We then met with Dustin in finance. Thankfully we did not have to go through formal financing however we still needed to complete the transaction and paperwork. Having never paid cash at the dealership (Thanks Dave Ramsey Plan!) we were not sure how this would work. Unfortunately we were past bank hours and unable to get a cashiers check that day. Having drove an hour down there Dustin and Austin were able to work with us leaving a large cash deposit and signing paperwork to ensure we would deliver the cashiers check the next business day.I had the truck checked out by my dad who is a ford mechanic for 32 years, not one thing wrong with this truck! He could not believe the deal we got with the low mileage!I must say it was a complete pleasure to do business with this company and especially with Austin and Dustin. They went above and beyond to help us get this done. If we are ever in need of another vehicle I know where we will head! THANK YOU PACIFIC HONDA!

Multiple trips to the dealership for car problems is never a good feeling but Roberts responsiveness, friendliness, and patience to walking me through all the technical issues has made me feel like a valued and respected customer. I had multiple software meltdowns and then a recent breakdown of my power steering so I contacted him right away because I knew I could count on him and the team at Pacific to look out for my best interest. Bought a new CRV yesterday. Satisfied with the entire purchasing process.With the supply chain shortage, CRV is out of stock at many dealers. If it is in stock, many have a markup above MSRP. Some dealers mark it up nearly $4,000, and some are not transparent with the markup until the last minute. It was frustrating and exhausting.We were lucky to finally find Pacific Honda, who told us over the phone that there was going to be a $995 markup and the car would be delivered in 10 days. We put down a refundable deposit. About a week later, I received the call that the car had arrived. I confirmed the out-the-door price and the APR, and headed over. The salespeople were friendly, honest, and straightforward - no hidden fees, no surprise, no nonsense.The car was initially dusty from its trip from Ohio, but after a wash, it was impeccable. We drove the new car back with only 6 miles on it. Happy with every aspect of the service that Pacific Honda offered.

Bought a 2012 Scion iQ from the dealership. Kaylen was very helpful and made a purchase very simple and fast. I drove the car for a few miles but engine light came on. Called the dealership and they immediately sent me a replacement and the very next day my car was fixed and given back to me.during this time period Kaylen was in touch with me every step on the way and even called me after the car was fixed to make sure I got home safe. We went in for a maintenance service and was greeted nicely by Brandon. He estimated 2 hours and said hed text us as soon as its finished. However, we waited for more than 3 hours with no status update or any follow up from anybody. When we finally decided to ask whats going on (after seeing our car parked in the parking lot!), the cashier woman was pretty much throwing her hands in the air-none of her business attitude. We were directed to the express service for whatever reason, and of course the cashier person over there was not interested in helping us either. Bryan was helpful, though, and eventually told us to wait by Brandons desk. Apparently Brandon went for lunch and our paperwork was just sitting on his desk.. The girl sitting next to him was kind enough to help us bring it to the (same rude) cashier woman. And that was the end of it. Shouldnt someone else step in if someone went for lunch, instead of keeping the customer waiting for hours? Some employees are good here but some are in no business of serving people.

Had a great car buying experience at Pacific Honda. I was assisted by Tarig and he was very helpful. Everything was very straightforward and I felt as though the entire process was transparent, and never once felt like I was being taken advantage of. They didnt have the vehicle I wanted when I first went in. Tarig said they would have it in about a week. He contacted me a couple days later and said my car had arrived. Went in, did the paperwork and I was out the door with my new car. Will certainly return to Pacific Honda when it comes time to purchase another vehicle. Definitely recommend.

Update: so it turns out the finance department was trying to swindle me out of more money. Long story short, they called me 8 days after signing the contract to tell me that if I didn’t provide additional source of income, that I would have to sign a new contract with a higher APR (it made no sense) so I refused. I told them to go ahead and cancel the contract but that they needed to refund my down payment 100%. They obviously didn’t need that info from me because they called me 15 minutes later to tell me the contract was good. That is very bad business practice, pacific Honda. They promised to fix some things in this used car I bought and they still haven’t called me. Now this car is making a weird noise and i have to take it to a mechanic. I guess they really don’t care about the customer, just another greedy car dealership.I decided to go to pacific Honda to find my new vehicle after several failed attempts. I was greeted by Allan Holt, salesperson. He helped me find exactly what I needed. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything with ease. All around great guy!! If you find yourself looking for a car, don’t hesitate to go with Allan, you will not be disappointed.

I have never owned a Honda, but after reading the reviews and talking to other owners I gave it a go.I had a great Buying experience from my salsman, Austin Bryson. He and Samantha, in finance were wonderful.After having my 2011 Honda Pilot for 6 months, it needed an alternator and had an oil leak. Thank goodness I got the extended service warranty.Nnfortunatly when I got my vehicle back, it was scratched- looks like someone leaned over the engine compartment with a belt on. Also, the door handles were dirty and the I am not able to reset my clock or turn on the radio. Who would have thought that you would have to find a code to set the clock and use the radio??? NO CODE in my owners manual.I am hoping this was just a bad day, and my next visit will be better.

I have been coming to Pacific Honda for every oil change and services since the day I bought the car 5 years ago.On August 28 2021, I took my car for regular oil change, and requested to also check the left front small long light bulb below the headlight, and to replace it if needed. Two hours later, I was notified that my car was ready for pick-up. I immediatly walked over to the express oil change to make the payments. While I was making the payment, I asked the attendant if the small bulb was replaced or not. The response I got was let me check with the technician who worked on my car. Few minutes later, I was told that I would need to come back for another day. I wasnt pleased with that answer after.I guess I will have to wait for my next oil change for that to be fixed. It seems easy to replace such a small bulb, but I felt the technician either forgot to replace it, or he was never told by the front people whom I checked in with.

Great service rep. Tell your boss to give him a substancial raise and a promotion. Thats the plus side of my visit and the reason I gave you a 5 star, now the neg. side which gets a -1. Loved your waiting room. Comfortable chairs and your t/v was great for watching the Olympics. After 2 hours I began to fall asleep, so went outside. Whoever chose the bench and table should be forced to sit on them for 2 hours strait and demoted. You have to do better or my business will go someplace else. Thanks for letting me vent.

Purchased a vehicle here recently and it was a mostly smooth experience with the salesperson; however, one of the add-on packages purchased, a car alarm system, was very disappointing. As soon as I was able to test it out the next day, I realized it was nothing like how it was described and functioned quite poorly. I immediately called the salesperson that day, who referred me to the finance department. The finance department then referred me to the finance manger who sold me the alarm system. I reached out to the finance manager several times about canceling/refunding this alarm system, but Im not sure why the finance manager hasnt followed up as promised. Bought a car here on Monday afternoon, today is Friday. Bought a 2005 Honda Pilot with one owner, with good service records.The sales process took about 2.5 hours, and everyone was very friendly. (The entire staff, throughout this whole experience, was in fact, very friendly.)After we drove off, we immediately started running into problems.We did not drive the car on Tuesday, and Wednesday, the first time we drove it - the car died. As in, turned the key and it made no sound at all.Ended up calling my insurance and had to get it jump started.Thursday morning, we drove to the Honda service center across the street from the dealership, and they discovered that the battery in the car had bad connections and hadnt been tightened properly. Luckily, it was an easy fix that only took 10 minutes.Unfortunately yesterday as we got home from getting the battery fixed, the window fell down and stopped working AS we parked at home. :/Today, Friday, we went back to the Honda service center and were informed that they would fix our car window for 500$.Being as we literally just bought this car and havnt driven it anywhere besides the dealership yet, Im understandably frustrated.UPDATE:After seeing our review, I was contacted by the dealership (Jason Peabody?), and they expressed that while the car was sold to us as-is and they had no way to know about the window, that they would cut our repair cost in half. (down to 250$)After initially feeling very frustrated, I happy they were willing to help us out!They definitely care about making sure their customers are satisfied, and made sure we were satisfied in an all around unfortunate situation.

Just purchased a Civic Type R from Pacific Honda. They extracted a hefty markup for it. The experience was a mixed bag. Is any new car purchase ever a good experience? Not in my dozen or so times Ive done it. This is more of a reflection on this predatory industry than this particular dealer. The usual bs w the salesman, but the pressure tactics werent too bad. Agreed on the price fairly quickly, manager approving the sale was fairly reasonable. My salesperson was relatively easy to deal with, a bit disorganized and forgetful, but a personable guy. The finance guy was quick and spared me the grilling of added warranties and features. No one bothered going over the cars features w me on delivery, which Im accustomed to. Both of the receptionists/greeters were completely clueless and of no help on the 2 days I was there. No-one offered my wife and I a water when we were negotiating - I had to go search for a drink. Overall not terrible, but a disorganized experience that wasnt the worst or the best. Thats why the Meh rating.

This was the best car buying experience Ive ever had, Shawn Mustafa and his team worked with my work related time constraints and went out of their way to do as much as they could with me to get me the car I wanted, but which was in short supply due to covid, and most all of this via text and emails over the course of the few days that I needed due to being overworked at the hospital. I was able to do most everything, including my down payment from my office, with no pressure from Shawn who was very respectful and understanding of my unique situation. By the time I could slot some time to come to the dealership in person, I was in and out in 20 minutes, and drove out of the lot with my brand new 2022 Insight straight from the factory. That has never happened to me at any other dealerships I have been to, where instead I usually end up spending most of my day bored to tears as the dealer and boss play good cop/bad cop haggling back and forth with me most everything. This why I dread going to buy a car but I would come back to Pacific Honda in a second, and will next time I need a car.

I was very pleased with the service I received at Pacific Honda, starting with the terrific customer service over the phone when I set up the appointment. As it was my first visit (after years of going to another Honda Service location), I have to admit that I was a bit nervous about the level of service Id receive. When I checked in, I shared my most recent service records and was told the car was due for an oil change and, if necessary, tire rotation. It was determined that the latter wasnt needed, so my bill was not as high as estimated. I appreciated the honesty and efficiency displayed.

I brought my vehicle in for a recall. They kept the vehicle over night because there was something “wrong with the transmission” after the update. When I picked the car up I asked for an explanation about the transmission. My service worker was off, and the office manager tried to tell me “oh they kept it because they didn’t have time to complete everything” hoping I would go away. I told them that was not true, they promised to check and call me the next day. I never received a call.

Been going here for years for any of my car services. Theyre always quick and precise with the work. Just one hiccup one time where i went for all fluid inspections and services. Everything seemed good until i went for the next oil change somewhere else and they told me that my access cover below was missing. I havent had any services till then so maybe they just forgot to put the cover back on from the last fluid inspection. Other than that my car always feels like its running smoothly after the work. Got my brake rotors serviced and pads replaced recently by them and it was finished in a timely manner.

I received very good service and honest recommendations from the representative and mechanician on my 2012 Honda Odyssey. At the beginning, I was told that both front and rear break pads need to be replaced and I agreed. However, when break pads were taken out, the mechanician suggested that the rear pad could still be used for a longer time and it was unnecessary to replaced it right now. In addition, I bought a 4-yr membership for 10% ($200 max) discount. Since my total cost was about $3500, the representative give me 10% discount without $200 max cap.

Yesterday I purchased a 2021 Honda Odyssey touring lunar silver with mocha interior from pacific Honda. Overall I had a good experience shopping with pacific Honda, and everyone on the team was professional and friendly. Our salesman Davian, was “the new guy” but was able to help us with what we needed and ended up showing us a car, that we wouldn’t have even looked at, which we ended up buying. We also worked with Andrea and JR, both managers, who worked with us and happily gave us what we needed. Tarig helped us with the final closure and paperwork of the purchase and he was wonderful! He was friendly, easygoing and very knowledgeable about the car and helped to show us how to connect our phones etc. Tonya with finance was quick, even though she had been working with a new system and getting familiar with it. What I really appreciated the most with the staff at pacific Honda was that no one talked bad or put down other car brands or competitors, or felt the need to flex the Honda muscle. Overall it was a positive experience and I would recommend buying from pacific Honda.

If you currently own a vehicle, you should definitely check the current value of it as you would be surprised in this current market for how much used cars are going for. You may have a significant amount of equity, equity which you can use as a down payment on a new car. This was my reason for upgrading into a newer model year and while I initially didnt have the experience I was expecting, the second visit was much more pleasant when I was able to converse with THE sales manager Andrea directly. I explained my concerns and she was able let me know what they could do to be more flexible with me since I have purchased a few vehicles with them previously.Surprisingly the vehicle I wanted in a particular color which is highly sought after, the Sonic Pearl Gray was estimated to take a month to hit the lot however luckily one just happened to drop today in which I was able to sign and secure it for myself after Andrea notified me immediately. I was worried since my old car (being used as the trade in) was actually being serviced in their service center however being in the position she was, she was able to pull some strings which was very impressive to see. She even offered to get me an Uber ride! Signing didnt take that long and I got out quite quickly.During the waiting process, Davian Rivera was extremely helpful and made sure to take care of me by offering to provide drinks or get me something from the 7-11 down the street (talk about service!). In addition, he knew the products in and out, he even informed me of some things I did not know about which is a huge plus. I would encourage to seek Davian out directly should you value immediate attention.The finance guy Fred was very comfortable to deal with as well, he was not pushy and offered services that made sense. I felt a little bad for him since he had a few other customers to attend to after me back to back. Hes definitely an awesome guy and what impresses me is that the contract was done digitally through an Ipad! No more needing to figure out where to sign that long physical form and take more than 5-10 minutes, this was done in maybe 2-3 instead? Digital contracts are the future Im telling you!Thank you once again Pacific Honda for being there for my vehicular needs! 11/10 for going above and beyond! I was issued a factory coupon, directly from Honda, for my A13 service that reduced the price of my service call by 68%. The service representative was very respectful when I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment. He took me right away, explained the service call, provided an estimate for the effort, and commended me for bringing the factory coupon (no double speak). The service technician completed the service call within the estimated time. The entire effort exceeded my expectations. Im not surprised because my Honda vehicle has exceeded my expectations every day since I drove it off the lot in 2017.

I purchased a 2022 Honda HR-V EX from Pacific Honda in San Diego, California on August 28th, 2021. We dealt with salesperson Davian, who was very professional and got me into the car that I had been waiting for. The whole process was easy and Davian got me on my way, which was really nice. The only downside that I had was that I only received one key fob, instead of two. I was told that there was a key chip shortage, and that my second key would be coming at a later date. Other than that, a really pleasant experience and I would recommend anyone to go and see Davian at Pacific Honda.

Recd a notice regarding a FACTORY paint recall on my (specific) white, 2018 HR-V that I bought brand new from Pacific Honda. Like clockwork, the paint started to peel in two large spots, so I contacted Pacific Honda for what to do & then took it to Sunroad collision for estimate as advised. Honda approved the estimate. Im then told it will be a full week - week & a half to repair/repaint and yet they WILL NOT BE COVERING A RENTAL CAR? This is on a car that has also had TWO electrical malfunctions before it was 2 years old. Paint chips are growing by the day as I wait for ownership to do the right thing - even after contacting American Honda and them wanting to help, but stating its the dealerships decision to authorize the rental. HOW can a rental car be the owners responsibility when its a FACTORY PAINT RECALL? On a barely 3 yr old car!? Please do the right thing, Pacific Honda, and cover the rental car for a Honda DEFECT. The peeling paint is just getting worse each week this goes on without resolve from your end.
