We went in for our headlight and wipers. Jessie was such a great asset. Helped us locate the correct bulb. Saw us struggling twice in the parking lot and helped us, he made it look effortless. Most people wouldn’t have stopped and helped, it was very cold outside. Jessie said he appreciated our business and i genuinely felt he meant that. Every customer i saw him interact with he went above and beyond.

Jesse and Nikolas were wonderful!! had a dead battery and they fixed it up super quick and helped me with everything i needed. super friendly, great staff, come here for your if something simple needs fixing. 👍

If you come for a free battery check they will try to sell you an overpriced battery. I would have been happy to give a good review if they tested my battery but they refused to test my battery when I asked. They said oh its probably just too old and you need a new one but did not care to prove it? Not very scientific and doesnt live up to their free battery check promise. Felt a little silly asking after how they responded to me.Better off going to Costco for an interstate battery, they have longer warrantees and are cheaper for a better quality battery.

Mike and Nikos (?) Were amazing. I came in and it was crazy busy and I was needing a new car battery. I waited patiently while they rang up other customers until they could test my battery. Sure enough it was dead. Purchased a new one and they were able to intall it for me. I greatly appreciated their helpfulness that day!

Amanda was great!! She helped me get a diagnostic on my battery, get the correct battery, install it, and talked me through the whole process so I could learn what she was doing. I believe they were understaffed but they handled it well helping multiple customers at a time each with great customer service.

This by far has to be the worst AutoZone I have ever been to! First off they had 2 people actually at work which neither where doing their job, 1 guy was standing in back of store next to all the oil products talking with some people about his weekend and what he all did for 20+ minutes! The other guy working was in the parking lot helping another employee that wasnt working today tesr his engine apart all while customers were in line 7 deep. One gentleman that needed help asked the guy with long hair (the guy that wasnt clocked in) if he could get someone to help and replied to the gentleman by saying Im not working today youll have wait for someone else. Myself and 4 other people left the store, out of the 5 that left managed to go do a block to OReilly and get the help we needed! I spent $700 bucks on the parts I needed. This AutoZone needs to have their Manager on site during the weekend do to incompetent people that where working on Sunday 9.26.2021 @ 2pm. Hopefully people see this comment as helpful to knowing that these people dont care nor respect their customers enough to have a employee helping customers if employees cant do their job then why should anyone trust their business or knowledge. If you are customer snd looking for 5 star help/services and Knowledge I would advise going 1 block south to OReilly Auto Parts. Better Service and More Knowledge!

Great place my truck was giving me trouble starting I went there thinking my alternator was the problem and all I need was a New Battery they help me and borrowed some tools to swap the battery and we are super thankful that they where so helpful..thanks Autozone..in SLC.right by 900 south State street

The gentlemen that helped me was a really nice, knowledgeable man who was great.

Went in to double check a battery reading I got during a service at the shop I use. Jesse P not only ran me through a test but also took the time to help me clean some corrosion off the battery cable. Ive always shopped here due to the location, but wanted to take the time to say thanks for taking the extra time to help me. Will be back for sure.

They don’t answer the phones at all they hung up on my 3 different times not ever going to be going to this location

CoViD had its grip on this business as with many others still but pandemics usually hot in 3 waves and can last for 3-4 years so this is good that they are mindful of customers.We were there to have codes read and it was odd that employees passed the reader to us (without gloves) and I watched as they took it back and exchanged other items as well as took turns on a keyboard so the employee education on cross contaminating is a bit thin. It isnt reinforced or taught so I wasnt surprised. Ive not been concerned for myself, but take great interest in seeing how individuals and business interpret rules and mandates.As for service, these kids do fairly well. They were quick and they were also in and out of the building helping a couple of customer. Overall, average customer care in the absence of personable interaction, knowledgeable responses, and store cleanliness (4/5)

I visit frequently as my CRV does eat oil a bit so I snag quarts from there often. Ive seen them expertly handle everything from less than reasonable customers to helping me out with projects with my car.Keep up the good work there guys. Thank you for putting up with the best and the worst of us customers!

Friendly service and great prices

I was able to find most of the parts I needed and that I came in for, what I could not find in the store I was able to order, the nice thing is that it should only take one to two business days to get it. I also love that with the rewards program you earn money towards other purchases.

I came in needing a new battery. Jesse helped me find the right battery right away. He even came out and installed the new battery. I’ve been there twice and each time Jesse has gone above and beyond.

I just went there to get a new battery. I as soon as we entered they were greeting us. It was smooth transition. I gave him the car info and he gave me the option and prices for my car. I also bought wrench. Tips: 1- if you want to save time check the website first. 2-join there reward program. 3- sometime you can get discount if you buy it online if you’re not buying battery better getting it online. 4- bring your old battery with you, and they will buy it.

Went here to get some bolts and the assistant manager sold my husband the wrong bolts which ruined our tire and then refused to not only make whats wrong right but wanted to make us feel like losers because we didnt have the receipt even though they could have looked it up also remembered my husband but refused to make it right then never come to this store if you need help getting the right parts! Never have we ever been treated like this at any location til this place! Thank you assistant manager for selling us wrong parts and then refusing to give us the right ones and having our vehicle get ruined! Would have liked the Store manager to step in but Melody stated the store manager couldnt help us either! Thank you for being hateful and selling us wrong parts

Tonight was a different experience with this branch. When I called they actually had the part I needed and did not need to go to the hub store. Customer service was above average so that was a bonus

Very great experience with the staff at this location when I stopped in for a Fix Finder. The team took their time helping me find various solutions to an issue I was experiencing.

We had a check engine light go off halfway through a road trip. We had read you can use a machine to read the error code to see what the issue is. The staff here were very helpful getting us set up to do that and made it easy! I highly recommend going here if you need help!

This was the worst AutoZone I have ever been in they had two people working to cash registers but one of them had to help someone install a battery the line of people in that store was ridiculous and the wait time to get helped neither one of them knew how to handle their customers it was Sunday October 31st about 6:30 p.m. I will never ever go back to that store again it was the worst AutoZone they made

Employees are very kind at this location and always greeting people who come in. Mike, the manager , also was super helpful today. He was able to help me get exactly what I needed, no BS. I appreciated the kindness and also the great customer service. I left feeling like I wasnt taken advantage of and that I could trust the product I purchased and the word of the employees.

I normally love going to this place because of how helpful and knowledgeable they are, but the way I was treated today was just disappointing to say the least. This kid that was “helping” me was disrespectful to not only me but the other customers that were there too. I was looking for a fuse that he said they didn’t have, and when I went to find it I found several boxes of the fuses I was looking for. And when I asked for help on finding another part he said it wasn’t available to them. Even though I told him that it was on their website, and the website said that it was in stock at this particular store. He spent more time talking to his coworkers than he did trying to help me and never even tried to look for the parts I needed. Normally the people there are far more helpful and knowledgeable and actual take the time to look for the part with you. But unfortunately this kid was neither helpful nor knowledgeable. Next time I go I’m not working with him.

Everything I needed, but the prices are high. I cant quite understand why Walmart has the same synthetic oil for $4.99, and AutoZone $10.49? They should have the same high-volume buying power???Employees were very nice & helpful. Store well stocked & clean.

This location is wonderful! Very professional and welcoming. My battery died (within a year of purchasing) and they helped replace it - free of charge - and they double checked the alternator.

The customer service I received yesterday was exceptional! (April 4th around 6:30pm @ 939 S. State St.) I stopped in to get a headlight bulb and was warmly greeted as well as checked on twice within a short period of time by Mike ( I believe his last name is Sebastian) He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He even installed the bulb for me with ease and made sure I was safe to get back on the road. Cant say enough about Mike. You guys are fortunate to have him at your store. Definitely made my day!

This is hands down the best auto parts store I have ever been to. I rarely encounter so such helpful staff in any store let alone an auto parts store. I just do basic car maintenance like battery and oil changes but when I go in I am immediately offered help finding everything I need, which is greatly appreciated because I super intimidated by all the different oil filters.

We went to AutoZone to get windshield wiper blades. We tried to put them on but were not able to do itA kind employee on her bread did it in seconds. We are thankful for her service.

I was very impressed with the staff at the Salt Lake City State Street location. The two staff members that helped me, James and Rich, were so helpful. I accidentally locked myself out of my car and had to nurse my baby and Rich let me into the classroom so I had a private place to nurse. James offered me some bottled water and took care of my battery change quickly. After having a rough day, it was so nice to have the kindness of your staff make it easier.

Stopped in on a whim to buy a new car battery and couldnt be happier with the service. Rich W. came out and ran several tests to make sure that the problem was actually with the battery. Once that was confirmed, he gave me various options and explained the pros/cons of each battery as they differed greatly in price. I purchased the battery that I thought best suited my needs and he then took it to the parking lot and installed it for me. It was a customer service experience from days gone by and I will certainly be returning should the need arise.

I have been to the 900 S. State location many times and have always had good experiences. Especially my last trip. Yesterday afternoon (September 16th) they were very busy and still managed to help me purchase and install a new battery very quickly and efficiently. All the staff was very helpful and especially the man that helped with my battery. I don’t know his name(maybe John-an older man with gray hair)?

This is for my local neighborhood store. This as good an auto parts store as one can find these days. Selection is good, prices are excellent, and while theyre friendly, the staff arent a bastion of knowledge. Good store, nice people, great for returns and battery testing.

The people here are pretty cool and very helpful. I had bought a car battery here last year and it died in the cold this month. However, after jump-starting my car, I took it to the AutoZone for checking as I still have warranty on the battery. They checked and told the battery is fine, just needed to be charged. They cleaned up the battery and charged it fully and put it back in the car. I tried giving a tip but they refused. I might not refer the car battery from here but the service here was nice.

This is my favorite location in all of the valley, but I am biased because it is right down the street from my house. Staff at this location have always been great. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and they go that extra step.

I went to your store on 28th of April, a half hour before closing and it was really busy. There were only 2 attendants working, but these two were phenomenal. They were working quickly yet efficiently with each customer. Taking the time to make sure each customer was taken care of. They were amazing. I bought the wrong headlight and had to come back in to have them help me find the right one. They were amazing and deserve to be recognized for the awesome jobs that they do

I highly recommend the AutoZone on 939 South State!! Thera and Rich exemplified exceptional customer service ! I needed new wiper blades and Rich found the blades in advance of my arrival and put them aside for me (May 3 @ 11am). Thera then took the time to install the blades on my truck and was extremely careful to follow C19 standards when she did. They both also took the time to assist with my driver side mirror which was broken and gave me helpful advice for options for repair. If you’re looking for exceptional service and superior depth of knowledge regarding parts and DYI repair for your car - then absolutely go to this AutoZone! They also have the store situated well to meet C19 standards. I used to reluctantly go to Pep Boys and I will never go there again now - thanks to Thera and Rich.
