We were traveling through the area and the tailpipe became disconnected from the muffler. Called them and they got us in the next morning. Parts were going to take a couple days so they made a new tail pipe on site and welded everything together to get us back on the road. The owners were so nice and friendly and really helped us out. Would highly recommend them.

I dropped off my RV on the date specified by the owner. 4 weeks later the vehicle had not been touched. I went there twice asking about it. Called regularly. Finally they worked on it. We couldn’t get the part so they made it. Works great now.

I was on my way to New York, and stopped at Salem for the night. I heard noise coming from the back of the van. When I walk up in the morning, I drove to them after reading all the good reviews. They emediatly took my van and started wiorking on it when they knew Im traveling. I was out and on the road in less than 2 hours. They are a lovely couple, very nice and professional.

Yesterday, I had a last minute appointment to get brakes done and not only did they take me on time, the service only took 2 hours start to finish. The owners were so kind and friendly, and gave me a fair price for my work. I want to come here for all my car maintenance from now on. The atmosphere was so welcoming and you can tell they care about the work they do as well as the people.

This is third Meineke Ive taken my vehicles to in three different states. Good work, professional and honest. The last time I got my car serviced, they were unable to perform a tire rotation, so the next time I received a car repair, they gave me a free tire rotation to make up for the previous occasion.I definitely recommend Meineke, in general. Buzz, Cindy and Austin and their other workers are honest and professional to say the least. I also enjoy supporting a family owned business thats genuine.

Took it to Meineke. They said they can have it ready in a week..2weeks later of them telling me they are doing more tests and thay dont think the computer is bad..I took my car out of that shop and WILL NOT RETUN. Friday as I was on the way to the Salem Virginia Hospital for an appointment, I hit a section of street under repair. All of a sudden I began hearing the noise which can only be described as loud and unnerving. I drove the remaining 3 miles to my appointment dreading to find out what was wrong. Upon reaching the hospital I looked underneath my van and saw most of my exhaust system barely hanging from 2 remaining mounts. My cell phone (Google) showed a nearby muffler / auto repair center, so I crept gingerly toward it just hoping and praying to make it there before the inevitable occurred. (by this time it was nearly their closing time.) A pleasant young man (Austin) greeted me and listened to my plight. Well, to make a long story short, he got me in in quick order and the owner (Buzz) inspected the damages to my exhaust system. He provided me with a quote which I gladly accepted. He ordered the special mountings and other hardware which I needed (for my 19 year old van) wired everything up as much as he could in order for me to return home safely. They gave me an appointment for Saturday. My parts were waiting for me when I arrived and they rolled my van up onto their rack and completed my repairs expeditiously. I come from a family of professional mechanics and know quality work when I see it. These folks are definitely 5 Star performers. As a traveler through the area, I had no idea where to turn when my Mustang’s air conditioning went out during one of the hottest days on record. After being turned away by local dealers, Meineke took care of us, fixed the problem at a good rate and got the car back on the road!

Great shop have been going there since me and my wife got married. Always a welcoming smile at the counter and they know our kids by name. You cant get that kind of service any more.

We took our car in to fix a broken headlight. The Meineke shop said that the headlight needed to be replaced, so we bought a $200 headlight assembly. Five months later, the headlight was out again. We brought it back, and they got it working. However, the headlight was out again one week later. We brought it back yet again, and they replaced a bulb and had it working again. Then, one week later, the headlight was out yet again (3rd time after visiting their shop). I called and spoke to Cindy, who failed to return my call by the end of the day, as I was promised. She called the next day and said that they thought the first headlight assembly was defective. She said she would call back the next day to let us know when we could bring the car in for repair. However, I didnt receive a call until six days later. At that point, I was certain that Meineke did not care to have my business any further. I could not wait around with a car that was illegal to drive, not to mention a safety hazard, so I took my car to another repair shop. They found a loose and burned headlamp connector and fixed it for less than Meineke charged me the first time. Why did Meineke not notice a burned connector after two return trips? To their credit, they didnt charge for subsequent trips. However, they provided a very poor service experience.

Truly decent people and the services are reasonably priced. Always warm and accommodating.

I been coming here since 2013. Three different cars and I never had a problem. Cindy and Buzz are excellent. I would never go to jiffy lube or firestone. Its been the same family on business for decades. Trust me never a disappointment... and if you ever had a problem please bring it to his attention. They will fix it.

Always a fan of the quality of work. Decent prices. Only problem they are always busy and the parking can be tricky.

A friend and I were in from out of town, and having muffler problems. We were under a serious time crunch, and randomly chose this repair shop because it was one of the few shops open early on Saturdays in the area. We walked in, explained what we were hearing, and asked if there was a chance of fixing it quickly because we needed to get back on the road. Half an hour later, they asked if I wanted to spend a lot of money, or not a lot of money (ha!) to fix the issue, and I felt great about how honest they were about my options rather than just giving me the most expensive option. Another half hour later, we were back on the road!

Had he gone back and brought it to the owners attention, the issue would have been addressed.I have been taking my vehicles to him for 15 years with no complaints.

The lady is nice very down to earth friendly but the mechanic is horrible Took my bmw there they half way fixed one problem for 300 dollars,2 days later I had to take it back because something wasn’t properly fixed the fixed somthing wrong now my low oil pressure light is on and I can not drive my car! They will not even refund half of my money so I will be taking them to court! I would not take a car there even if it just needed air in the tire. Worst place ever.

Dont go here!. I went in needing my knock sensor replaced, & left with even more complications. I drove around for months using more gas because of their carelessness. Good thing I caught it, or I couldve had even more problems. Im unsure if the mechanic intentionally left some parts unplugged hoping to generate more revenue. Or if the mechanic even knew what he was doing. Regardless, this type of service is unacceptable. I will never go here again.
