They discriminate in employment. I use to love shopping there, but not after being treated like I am dirt when I tried to get a job there.

Since their policy on returns has changed, I only go in here if I absolutely have too. Typical selection of any Home Depot. Make sure to save your reciept as they will no longer look up a transaction by card number if you lose it. No reciept, no return period. Go to Lowes where they have a better selection, and service.

Ryan Paulsen they do sell butane it is in the butane and torch section. I dont like how much spider wire they are using nowadays surrounding there tools and batteries. I dont like that they are keeping their batteries locked up in a glass cabinet. I dont like how obvious the LP are inside the stores and how the employees keep following me. You still have the worst care for.products people order. They come from their warehouse destroyed. No quality control. Lowes is the place to go. One of my close friends went without a kitchen for 4 months because the cabinets they purchased came in ruined. They had reorder 3 times. No joke. 3 times. Terrible !

I got a bag of play sand for my fish tanks. It was 6 bucks for 50 pounds which Im about! I get house plants here often. Pretty decent store!

Over the past 5 years. I have lived in Red Bluff. For 4 of those years I could not stand depot in Red Bluff. I 1st walked in reading home depot. I was greeted. I Found lots of employees on the floor. I was in-and-out 10 minutes maybe Less. Obviously I had to go here because they Dave not have my item in my city.

We love Home Depot! They have way better selection, better quality wood, and stellar return policy! Beat the heck out of their only competition in Redding!

No customer service, no less than 6-10 people waiting for help in every section especially the tools. The way they have 6 locks on every shelf seems like home depot is getting out of the business of selling products. Theyre happy just having it on display with no way to purchase it.

I am very disappointed to see the garden staff are not interested in keeping the succulents healthy, they do not water them, they are super dehydrated, and burned from the sun,I think when you work in the garden you have to have some knowledge about it.Now I have to go to another home depot 30 minutes from my city to buy my succulents. because in my city Redding,Ca ..they are too lazy to water them. Its ridiculous! I was impressed that Home Depot in Redbluff ,Ca has beautiful, healthy succulents the staff cares about..I hope the manager in my city do something about it .

Ive had many terrible experiences in home Depot have had hard time finding employees to help me. This time was an exceptionally good experience. I had an awesome educated employee that took me straight to the item and was extremely kind. Even more important I had the option to not wear a mask because it is a freedom to make that choice. Thank you home Depot I will come back again instead of going somewhere else.

I go to The Home Depot store for all my projects. It is right down the road. Tons of parking, staff that know whats on each aisle and to top it all off a discount for active and prior service military. These are the reasons I spend my money The Home Depot

Great deals on clearance items, and very helpful staff. Ive had a few instances where an associate will sell me an item they dont have in stock after they go check it (concrete, mortar, gravel) for pricing, location, ECT. Even after I made a point of saying I need like 20 bags of said item. Not a big deal, cause returns are easy, but its a waste of time, and should have been easy enough to check their stock amount.

Really wish they had the truck rentals and equipment like they do at other locations. Other than that they always have what I need, just not when I need it, and I get so excited when I finally find an employee I forget what I wanted to ask, but rest assured no matter what question I could have every employee will tell you something different than the last.

People that work there help you. You have to ask for help. Far as prices the prices are the same or not much more say at ACE and the store is smaller dont have to walk as far.

Ordered wire fencing online. When I arrived to pick up my order all the fencing was rusted. The store had rolls of fencing that were not rusted but the staff member refused to switch out forthe not rusted fence.I returned my entire online order and have been shopping at Lowes, Ace and tractor supply. Home depot will forever be my last choice when it comes to home improvement.

I have ant infestation. I went today to buy Ortho home defense. There was a good deal but it was sold out. I grabbed the smaller size that was regular price and went to check out. The lady who helped me pointed out that I would save loneliness on the deal. She redirected me to a different part of the garden center and I found the 2 gallons for 1 gallon priced home defense. Its a little thing jn the scheme of things but it matters. Thank you Home Depot.

They have the rudest people working there, and they know where nothing is in their store. All checkout stands are self check out, the only reason I went there is because lowes doesnt carry dewalt weed trimmers

Looking for a small room fan with light and aisles were full of loaded carts, no room to maneuver, not a busy time of day and as usual no help available. This is becoming all too common here in Redding. I research potential buys online, note the aisle and bay numbers and try to find myself, same thing at Lowes now....frustrating substandard service.

On Mon. 8/8/21 at about 6pm I was in the appliance dept. at Home Depot. I was shoping for a refrigerator. I could find no one to assist me. Finally, while walking around actively looking for someone to help me I started saying HELLO HELLO CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME I walked into the next dept. where I encountered 2 young female employees sitting at a counter giggling. I said could one of you please call someone to the appliance dept. One of them said thats my dept. Then to my astonishment she turned her back and continued her giggling conversation with the other employee. I then said excuse me could one of you please call someone in electrical, plumbing, or even flooring to help me, at this point just find me someone thats ever used a fridge. Then she got up walked my way, all the while staring at me like I just ran over her dog. I ask her why she glaring at me that way. She then STATED I going to help you! I said no little girl your not! because Ill be buying my new appliances from Lowes. I will never go back in that store.

I love home depot. I am a little bit of a tool freak so a weekly or monthly visit to home depot is awesome. Very helpful and knowledgeable employees are an awesome bonus.

Its great to order an item and pick it up the next day with store to car service.

I tried to send home depot a review and they rejected it stating it didnt fall into their guidelines. They highlighted the rejections about the 8ft ALEKO trampoline with safety net and ladder. I told them that my order came damaged and with missing parts and the wrong parts. I also informed them that the product was made in China. I had to disassemble half the trampoline that was put together and return it. An associate at Home Depot researched and found me a USA made 10 ft JUMP KING trampoline that he assured me was not made it CHINA. The order was received and this too was Made in China! The product was sent directly to Home depot so they could check it before I picked it up. After being informed I could pick up the product, I then noticed the box was never opened and checked. I had an associate open it and read over the box and pieces with him, this product was also made in China, with horrible manual directions. Very disappointed!

Had to wait in some extra lines which took forever to get my order processed but overall, ok.

Home Depot always has most everything I need and they will go above and beyond to make sure Im happy with the service too

Whats to say.They have almost everything ,Sometimes hard to find items but courteous conversave workers stay with ones search and they will help you to your car if appropriate. It is cavernous, but thats how they have nearly everything.

Great place to buy tools or equipment if you cant find it here that means that means Lowes may have it, they have a good selection of a bit of everything so I recommend you check it out if you need some supplies for a project

I went into Home Depot to get a stick vacuum cleaner and they were out of stock. Unfortunately my store credit would not even let the store order one for me. A huge shout out to Trina the manager and Sharon that found one for me, so I was able to walk out of the store with one. Awesome customer service.

Customer service is horrible. I was looking for lighting when I was there. I asked for help twice and no one came to me. I waited around for 15 mins and no one came. When you asked for someone, they said Ill get someone to help you but no one came. Wasted my time. So, I left and got what I needed at Lowes.Will not recommend this store in Redding.

Run-of-the-mill big box home improvement store. Although their selection of items is what you would expect from a large store the customer service is atrocious. Ranging from unknowledgeable sales staff to downright rude clerks is the biggest turn off for this store. Refusal to honor veterans discounts except for four days a year is appalling. Do yourself a favor and shop where they value locals and veterans and just go to Lowe’s.

Car wash brushes great prices. Got two extended pole brushes for the price of one at Auto zone or oriellys. Had two employees ask if I needed help right away.

Excellent selection of items, that are often sold out at their competitors. Pretty fair prices as well.

As of 12/28/20, they are still requiring masks upon entry unless you have a medical condition.With the help of one of the workers here, we were able to find what we needed in 5 minutes and check out within 10 as everything was easy to find, organized and the staff were very helpful.Upon checking out, they have taken extra measures in regards to COVID, including shields between checkout stands and wiping down the checkout area between each customer.Overall, it was a good experience and the staff were very helpful.

Employees seemed friendly, and it seems like masks were being properly enforced. The items I came for were in stock and fairly easy to find. I did accidentally spill some water on the floor, so I let an employee know, but they never came back to take care of it while I was figuring out what I needed for my project.

Went to Home Depot for some specific items. Had checked online prior to going and their website said they were in stock. When I arrived and went to the isle and bin the website had indicated, the item was not there. When I inquired with a very helpful store associate, still could not find the item and his equipment said it was in stock, also. So, guess Home Depot should work on inventory organization a bit.

Well beautiful displays and assortments. Sadly lots of house cleaning needed in between the racks outside. My son was overjoyed to see the loquat trees, hes 17 and thats one of his favorite fruits. But if you think Im bringing a plant/tree grown with neonicotinoids you are ignorantly mistaken.Baffled beyond measure in this cancel uptight society that you would carry such a vile product. We know ento do better.

8, yes 8 phone calls each getting me transferred in a circle, 20 rings or more each and then completely disconnected. I may not be the one in charge, but my recommendation will definitely be to take our business elsewhere.

Of course being a big box store, it is the candy store of diy and professional builders. We go in as diy,ers and garden, landscaping hobbiest. Stores been picked over in some sections and supply has been slow getting trucks to resupply. I enjoy the place, Although it is sometimes difficult to find assistance.

Used to be a great store. This store is having problems. Order a window on May 7th. Paid extra for shipping. Told it would be delivered next day May 8th, didnt come. I followed up, said it would be Tuesday May 11th, I followed up May 12th, told it would come May 18th, called May 19th told it would come May 26th. They just keep telling me later and then never call and dont deliver. Looking for a new store to do business with.

Remodeling a house in the past 2 months. Been to home depot at least 3 times a week. We did washing, cleaning, painting, landscaping, changing light fixtures, bulbs, switch panels, building a fence, building a gate, a security door and etc.!

I hate Home Depot. Today i needed 10 foot 2x4s and they had 2x4s at 92inches/ 7 feet 6 inches and 96inches which is 8 footers. Who the hell buys 7 foot 6 inch 2x4s!?!

Did not have what I wanted in heat vent covers but good thing because I can get online thru Amazon for half price. A very nice gentleman associate did make my day by offering his assistance in finding the silicone rechargeable tap light I had been unsuccessfully searching for. Christmas for a couple young kids will be a little brighter. (No pun intended)

I ordered cabinets from Home Depot and went to go pick them up. When I went to go pick them up I also purchased a couple other things, when I went to the checkout line I had all my papers showing that I had already paid for the cabinets but the guy accidentally scanned one so I got charged for it again. I went home and I noticed it so I came back to the store, they made me wait over an hour to look at footage to make sure I was telling him the truth even though I had all of my paperwork, and they didn’t even apologize. About a week later my sink came in and so I waited in the curbside parking spot for 45 minutes. I finally got tired of waiting as I saw two other people already get their orders when they arrived after me, so I went into the store and told her how long I have been waiting and she said that the curbside guy was on lunch. Which is bull. So now I’m back in my car waiting another 20 minutes while they “move things” to get my order. I’m definitely going to Lowe’s from here on out.

So, I ordered some new kitchen cabinets and the first set 5 of them came destroyed, like a forklift when through them. Not a big deal until the replacements were supposed to come. Needless to say, 3 days and counting after they were supposed to have been delivered to my home they are still not here. My countertops were supposed to be measured and installed this week.... the original set I waited 4 months, the replacements were expedited but still had to wait. Some of the good cabinets, I still had to make some repairs to.Customer service is flippin horrible as well, try calling their store and see I anyone even answers let alone go to the store and wait 2 hours. Never again Home Depot, I will take my business elsewhere.Did I mention, yoy dont hinor your vets either? Too bad... I just bought flooring for my entire house from someone else who does....

Came here to get a paint match for a 10yr old gallon of BEHR. Paint counter was very helpful. As we were waiting for paint my husband was looking at circular saws and customer service was so good he left with a new one. 😅 never going to lowes again.

Could have been better. The women kept sending me to the wrong aisles instead of showing me. They were or not busy but having a personal conversation.

Wonderful experience today. I was able to find everything I went for. The sales associates that I encountered were very sweet and helpful! I was even offered a hand loading an awkward item into my truck! Life as it should be!

The Home Depot has normally always been a reliable business with capable employees, and this store carries on that tradition. My roommates and I like the products that are offered there because they are, for the most part, quality. Their prices might be a tick higher than, lets say Walmart, but that nominal difference doesnt sway me because I would gladly pay more for something that is going to last.

Fast finds on what we needed. Checkout was quick. Our cashier was friendly and the store was clean.

The Home Depot has everything you could possibly need and theres plenty to inspire tons of ideas. Everyone is perfectly friendly, but Ive found them unable to help with technical details.I spend way too much here. The prices are reasonable... :)

What I think separates Home Depot above other similar stores is the friendly help. They act like they want to help me. I can always find someone to help me.

If you have all the time in the world, need to get your step count up or dont need any assistance at all, this could be the store for you.But if you need, or even suspect youll need the slightest assistance, then factor 3x, possibly 4x the amount of time youd spend for the same visit at a small hardware store.That said, the few spattered staff are pleasant.
