I purchased from them months ago. Terrible decision! This is not a good place to do business. They say one thing and do another. All I asked for was what I paid for and my proper paperwork to register my vehicle. I have been forced to drive around without any form of tag for 2 months now. When they get complaints or negative review, they place a bogus response as if it’s from the GM with his phone number. No one ever answers that phone, nor respond to the voicemails left On that line. I would recommend that consumers avoid this place all together. I can recommend a few Lexus store that will value and appreciate their customer. Prestige Lexus is not one! Lexus Corporate really need to be made aware of how they are operating the franchise.

Very satisfied with the personal attention I received at Prestige, especially from Joe Scala. My car was in for routine 95,000 mile service. However, upon inspection the need to address some additional maintenance items was identified, Joe explained each service recommended and provided me with cost of each service. Additionally, he ensured the service department was able to complete the additional work by end of day so I did not have to leave my car overnight. I travel a fair distance to Prestige for my car service and did not wish to make an additional trip.

I purchased a car from Prestige Lexus and didnt even see the vehicle in person until it was time to pick it up and sign the paperwork. The vehicle had just been listed on their website and I was the first to inquire about it, and I got such a good vibe even over the phone from my salesperson Taniyel that I put a deposit on it right then to hold it. Taniyel even got me a better deal on myfinancing and since I live about 2 hours away I took the train and they picked me up from the station once I arrived, now thats what I call customer service!Thank you Prestige Lexus

He is honest and does NOT sell a customer services/items that may not be of interest to that particular individual. I have always had a great experience here and they have always taken care of me. In addition, anytime Ive needed a car loaner, they were there. This time around it was really strange. They didnt have any cars available and had me wait for over 2 hours just to tell me that my windshield wiper motor was bad and the lines were clear and not clogged. I already knew that or felt that it shouldnt take 2 hours to check the washer lines... really confused about that. and now I have to come back again when the motor does come back in to have it installed. Shouldnt it have taken less time?

The sales representative with whom I worked, Richard Efrus at Prestige Lexus, was a knowledgeable man interested in making a reasonable offer in these difficult times with a minimum of gamesmanship. Having done my research ahead of time, the deal was concluded in less than an hour!The gentleman who provided vehicle orientation was excellent. It was a hassle-free, straight forward process. I had had a quite different experience with a different rep there and an altogether unacceptable experience in another dealership. I had leased cars in the past at Prestige and look forward to doing it again at this dealership if the courtesy with which I was treated and the respect that customers deserve remains at such a high level.

We went to replace our less than a year Lexus that was damaged from Ida. We had been through so much already and Prestige help make this situation end in such a great way. They were so accommodating and understood the terrible situation we were in. They worked with the budget we had and went beyond any expectation of a dealership. Let me start by Im not new at purchasing cars. In fact this is my 3rd car purchase but best by far. I stop in to look at a certified preowned car and was pleased to find it available. I was greeted by JR Vega who had the vehicle in front and waiting for me. He explained the equipment and was patient enough to answer my many questions. Though I originally found my car on Cars.com, they were very professional with setting up an appointment, going for a test drive, and answering all of my questions through the process. Kim, my salesperson, was very nice and helpful through the process making it very smooth. She even insisted on having the service department fill my tire pressure after the deal was over and answered all of my questions on registration/inspection/license plates. I’ve been there twice. Only for my scheduled maintenance. And both times i have been forced to lose numerous hours from my day for no reason of my own.This week I had my appointment made and loaner reserved. Upon arrival i learned there are no loaners.They did have someone come 2 days later and drop off a loaner so i would have to go back. Which was a nice gesture. Although all in all. Two days had to be rescheduled. I love my car. I do not like how my time is valued.

Ive requested my MSO/Title no less than 5 times over last 30 days, but I only get the run around from the sales person. Ive left messages for management as well.

This place has gone down hill rapidly since they changed hands. I have purchased 6 or 7 cars from them over the years. New and used. The last one has been a disaster. Still waiting on out of state plates from a May 2021 purchase. Getting the runaround and my sales person has been little help. Have never had this problem before. Service dept has always been top notch.

My son phoned Prestige Lexus regarding a 2012 Acura TL he saw in an online advertisement. The car had very low mileage and a car fax history of an accident with resulting mild to moderate damage to the front and front drivers side. He set up an appointment to see and test drive the vehicle. Since this was the first time he was purchasing his own car, I took a ride with him.At the dealership we were introduced to Michelle who would be his salesperson. She was very friendly, respectful, and helpful. She advised we would not be able to test drive the car because it had just arrived and needed to clear inspection. She took us to the basement where the vehicle was stored and allowed us to check it out and start it. At the time there was a yellow tape on the drivers side front windshield.Michelle told my son she would call him when the car passed inspection and we could return for the test drive. A day or two later Michelle called and advised the car was mechanically sound, however, there was a small crack in the drivers side front windshield and they were going to have it repaired. An appointment was set up to return for the test drive. When we returned, Michelle stated the crack was repaired. We took a test drive and noticed a buzzing/flapping sound in the area of the front drivers side windshied when the speed was between 60 and 70. We returned and advised Michelle. She said she would have it taken care of by the time we came back to pick up the vehicle. My son set up an appointment to return. In the meantime Michelle was going to check out financing.When Michelle called about the financing she advised the best rate she could get was 4.90%. At this point my son decided to look into obtaining his own financing. When he advised Michelle of this he was told it was fine, however, he would need to bring a check for the full amount when he picked up the car and advise the financing company to send the financed money to him.In searching, my son was able to obtain a pre-approval, for the amount he needed, from Bank of America with a rate of 2.99%. When he checked further he found that Prestige Lexus belongs to Bank of Americas auto loan network. When he told this to Michelle he was then advised that Prestige would do the paperwork and accept payment from the bank. The question then became, since they are part of Bank Americas network, why didnt Michelle find this rate for my son?The evening we returned to pick up the car Michelle advised the windshied was fixed and the noise eliminated, however, when we took the car for a drive the same noise we originally heard remained. When we told this to Michelle she stated there was nothing else they would do to remedy the problem. At that point my son decided to not take the car and to end the deal.Within the next week or two my son found a 2013 Acura TL, with additional features, from an Acura dealer. He presented his pre-approval to the salesman and, instead of accepting the approval with the 2.99% rate, he was able to get the same approval from the same bank with the rate lowered to 2.95%. It may not seem like much, but it was nice to see a salesperson take a little extra effort to help his customer.The two things we learned from all of this is:1. Prestige Lexus may not be a dealership you can fully trust.2. Always look out for yourself when purchasing a vehicle, especially when it comes to financing. Do your homework before finalizing any purchase to be sure you are getting your best possible deal.Obviously this vehicle has some kind of issue. Hopefully it wont get sold to some unsuspecting customer.

I had a very bad experience with Prestige Lexus of Ramsey. I talked to the sales person, Kim, over the phone about a car they had for sale. I am about 400 miles away from them, so I asked about every detail and they assured me the car was in perfect condition. I asked if it had any scratches that can’t be seen in pictures, she said ‘No, it is in a good condition, no scratches or any other problems.’ I believed her and they made me get an insurance and to pay a deposit before coming to their dealership. I drove 400 miles to come and find out the car wasn’t as described. It had a lot of scratches and when I showed her these problems, her manager said ‘It’s not a brand new car.’ When I wanted to negotiate, Kim said ‘You are stealing this car for this price already, we don’t negotiate. Whatever we told you over the phone, that is our final price.’ I asked to get a refund for the deposit i paid and was told it will be refunded the next business day. I left disappointed for the way they treat their customers. Two business days have passed and still didn’t get my deposit back. Also, I see they posted the same car for $1,500 cheaper than what they wanted to sell it to me. I ask you to stay away from these kind of dealers. Save your nerves and time and go do shopping somewhere else with people who deserve your money and give you better product and service.

I went to have my tire pressure checked and was told my tire had a nail. When I advised that I had purchased a tire policy years ago he told me that it was not covered due to the tread measurement. When I asked to see the measurement he showed me the technicians notes. The tire was at 3/32 When I showed him the paper copy of the policy where it said anything less than 3/32 was not covered he changed his tune. Only then did he say he would file a claim and it would take fifteen minutes.He came to me 15 minutes later and said “great news...they are going to cover the two tires”. At which point I said then go ahead and replace the other two. He said okay all four and I said yes.Hours later he says I’m all set and gives me a bill for 3 tires. He said he never told me they would cover two. LIE! When I asked to speak to a manager he told me the manager said I had 2 choices...pay for the tires or they will take them off and put the old ones on in those exact words.After asking to speak to a manager once again I was told I he was in a meeting. I said I would wait. A few minutes later I was called in to speak to the manager via phone. I explained what happened and was told because I had been waiting so long Lexus would cover the cost of the second tire.After leaving I took the managers card to speak to him privately about the entire situation. I wanted him to understand how service was being handled. I sent an email with my phone number but never heard back. Guessing that the directives lies and mislead customers come from the top.I used to think that Prestige was an honest shop. That seemed to have changed. Very disappointed.

I’ve been shopping among different brands and met with many sales these two weeks. In today’s sellers’ market, most of the brands are asking for market adjustments and some of them are outrageous. The sales are all holding a negative attitude even when helping out customers, not to mention their selling strategies. I got tired looking and almost decided not to buy and live with it.Prestige Lexus changed my day. It didn’t ask a market markup/ premium (yet, I should mention that they’ll also start asking next month), stayed with sticker price and also offered the Lexus rebate of $1000.Ruddy made the whole process very efficient. He offered help beyond his obligation, which is very impressive. My driving record leaves me a high insurance premium. Ruddy contacted his friend who works as an insurance agent immediately and helped me lower my premium to almost a half, with the same coverage. He also made the financing process (with George) fast and effective. The whole service at this dealership really stood out among all others. I will recommend prestige Lexus and Ruddy to everyone of my friends who wants to buy a car. I mean, who wouldn’t want a good deal, a good service, and lower premium?

Thomas (Sales Manager) was great.. I’ve always been told the experience is completely different when you buy from a Lexus dealership and I now completely agree. I was in and out in about an hour and a half. That includes test drive, cleaning out my old car for trade in, paperwork etc.. No high pressure salesman.. I will never go anywhere else!

I received a recall notice and went to the dealer near me which is Prestige Lexus. What a great experience. Not only was the job completed faster then they said it would be but they offered my a loaner car for the day. I refused it and sat in a very comfortable waiting area with plenty of seating including beverages and food. The entire staff was friendly and courteous and after waiting 2.5 hours for what should have been a 3 or 4 hour drop off was unexpected and the thing that really made my day was the car wash and full tank of gas!! Thanks Prestige Lexus for making my recall experience easy peasy!

Customer service at its finest. Prestige lexus of ramsey has the best employees starting with J.R. Vega. During these difficult times I felt safe. Everything was being cleaned and disinfected. JR Vega made me feel very safe and I felt like I was dealing with a friend and not a sales person. It was my first vehicle buying experience if this is what car buying is Ill be here every year. I never felt pressured. He was very detailed and helped me understand all the ins and outs of the finance process.J.R is great at what he does and I will send all my friends to shop with you.

My 2019 Lexus I-300 was the subject of a safety recall pertaining to a defective fuel pump that could cause the car to stall while operating at a high speed. Prestige Lexus emailed me and phoned me to let me know the importance of having the fix done for the recall. I scheduled an appointment and drove the car there. The parking attendants at the reception area politely greeted me, took the keys and told me to check in at the receptionists desk. The receptionist politely told me that John, a service representative, would help me. A moment later, John came to the receptionist desk and escorted me to his station. Originally, I was going to take a loaner car and drive away because I was told the repairs would take about 3 hours. But he informed me that it would take only about 2 hours. So I decided to stay and wait in the reception area. They brought some very nice sandwiches wrapped in plastic for everyone to enjoy along with the coffee, water and other items. At the 2-hour point, he told me the work had been completed and that they were going to wash the car. About 15 minutes later, the car was ready. It was repaired, washed and the gas tank was even refilled from about a half tank to a full tank! All of that was free! The service was friendly, polite and totally efficient. Everyone was so nice and did their job perfectly. It was a beautiful experience.

Its a mixed experience. The sales person, Sergio Lopez was very helpful and maintaining communication on the phone regularly as I was traveling from 4 hours away. It took solid 3 hours to be done with all the paper works and setting the financing application.When I saw the car in the parking lot, it was covered with pollen and other dust all over the body. Even though Sergio repeatedly told me that the car was cleaned and everything was all set, however, I found it otherwise. The worst thing is that when they finally handed me the car, I found that it was not well cleaned specially, when you open the doors, you can see dust all the over the hinge area to the parts of the door that goes hidden when you close the door. Similar thing noticed in the rear lift gate.After the test drive, I repeatedly told Sergio to clean those area, and he confirmed me that the cleaners know about their standard cleaning job, and they will do it.Finally, what might have happened that either Sergio didnt let the cleaners know my concern or the cleaners didnt do their job. I know its not a brand new car, but its not that old either. The price was almost 70% of the original price but the service I received in return is not accepted.I wouldnt say the dealership is bad or should not do any business with them, but the management should notice this kind of mess by their crews and took consumers review seriously.So, what Im saying to the potential customers of Prestige Lexus of Ramsey is that please dont wait till the last moment when all the paper works are done to let your concern know. Make sure they understand your concern, and address them before handing you the car.

I’ve been a customer of Prestige Lexus for over 15 years. I’ve had some really excellent experiences, but I can’t rave about this one. The main complaint is about communication. I was told my car was expected to be ready by Friday or possibly Saturday. The parts didn’t arrive but I had to call to find out that the car wasn’t available when I needed it. I had expected to use the vehicle during the weekend, it is a large SUV - I needed the space. The dealer provided me with a good substitute, and I expected the car to be ready Monday. Monday came and nobody called. I didn’t chase them this time. I waited, and at the end of Tuesday I got a call about the status of the car being ready. I think the communications are slipping here. The quality of the work is excellent, the people are friendly and the cars are excellent. In the future I hope that the dealer, reading this, will prioritize updates better.

I actually think that $196.00 is a bit expensive just to check the systems (no oil change- no major advice- and while I appreciate that the vehicle was checked out -and knowing that my 4x450h with 186.486 miles is fine, I am not convinced all of that was worth the time and expense. I can see a local mechanic for that kind of money. I did not need an oil change and was advised to keep an “eye on things.”My other concern regards the cost of replacing the glass part of the passenger side door mirror which simply shattered unexpectedly while driving.—after doing just a little research and talking to a few car people pretty much everyone agreed the mirror cost was excessive $560.00 + labor- kind of a rip off considering that multiple sources showed the part at less than $200.00.Just saying….Additionally and worth noting-I love my car- but I am getting the sense - on the sales end & service end- that customer service is not where it should be in terms of both information, courtesy or professionalism.I noticed repeatedly a take it or leave it attitude. I do plan on buying a new car Within the next year or so.And while I love Lexus- not enough is being done to make my experience acceptable.I will not buy my next car from Prestige if I do stay with Lexus. Additionally has been a decline in the showroom, and service waiting area. Staff should probably think about the way they present themselves to the public.From a marketing standpoint- a thorough review should take place to determine whether Prestige is up to the standard the brand hopes to present.I can buy a Subaru if I want to experience run of the mill- take it or leave it attitudes and customer service. While Lexus is a luxury car- my experience is anything but.

Having had a considerable amount of experience with Lexus service at a different dealership, I couldnt help but notice the differences. The quality of personnel here was remarkable. Everything that was done to my car was excellent. One item was overlooked but was quickly corrected. In particular I would be remiss if I didnt mention by name one individual...John Desantis. He was so attentive and communicated clearly every detail of the service. He puts a very good face on Prestige service. I will surely buy my next Lexus here.

Had my Toyota truck serviced at Lexus in Ramsey today. I was a customer years ago. Since then, I’ve tried service local mechanics and two Toyota dealerships. Those were all mediocre experiences. So, today I decided to take the Toyota truck to Prestige Lexus for the first time. What a difference. Great competency, speed, communication. They’re wonderful. It’s like a different planet. Kudos. I went in to get pricing and walked out with a new car. When we first arrived a sales person held the door open for us. Little did we know he was going to be the same man who sold us the car.I didnt have an appointment but that wasnt an issue. Our sales person was Ruddy Balbi. He wasnt pushy nor did he play games. He knew I wasnt in the market for a Lexus, since I was doing comparison pricing for the Audi Q5. But he convinced me getting the Lexus NX was the best option, and so far I have to agree.Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and personable.Id also like to take this time to give kudos to the delivery specialist, Rich McDowell. He explained everything to me in great detail. The way it should be when you get a new car.This was truly the best experience Ive ever had with a car dealership. I highly recommend them if youre looking for a Lexus.

Well, here’s another example of a bad experience. Been calling over a month!!! Jeff Miller decides to respond whenever it’s convenient for him. I’ve sent emails and several voicemails and NOBODY returns my call. I’m sure I’ll get another response to this negative review but facts are facts!!! Been looking for answers on this title and I get nothing! This dealership is horrible!!!!!!!!!! Proof right here and I have many other screen shots of phone calls. You call there and you get transferred to a voicemail where nobody calls back. Pathetic!!!

I strongly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a new/used car. I like to research different kind of cars and have bought nearly 10 cars (80% are used) in the past 7 years for myself and families, this place provides one of the greatest shopping experience, thanks to below reasons:1) Large inventory, very important for used car shopping so that you have multiple options to fit your preference & budget.2) Very professional and friendly employees there, no pushing selling, they are trying to help find a right car for customer with a fair deal.3) They treat you like a long term customer with respect and transparency. During the process of talking numbers (you know that is the tough/hassle part), I somehow feel like shop with a friend, and we just exchange our opinions about the car and the price, and eventually both sides agree with each other. I know I could get a bit better deal if I argued more scratches here there and come again at the end of this month, but just to save my 300 miles round trip, and with the respect to these hard work salesperson in weekend, we made a deal and I think that is fair enough for both sides. Every business deserves a profit, they earn my business with a decent way!4) The smooth transaction processing, they take good care of the payment transaction and quite flexible.5) Prompt feedback after the sale, I have some minor question on the way of home and they replied timely.6) Lastly, with a proper expectation that many (maybe all) dealers in NJ looks add documentation fee, here they do add $699, I called in advance and they told me clearly about it and I always consider I have to pay this part when talking about numbers. Otherwise suddenly got noted about this extra cost might be frustrated.Thank you to my sales consultant Daniel Choi, and the manager Rich, it was a pleasant to work with you and appreciate your help find a car I like and I will be always come to Prestige Lexus if I have any needs in future.

Prestige Lexus of Ramsey have excellent people working there. I have no words to describe them. But here goes. Starting with Mariela. Her compassion and professionalism succeeded any car dealerships I ever encounter and I dealt with many!!!. She treat me like I was her #1 customer and she didn’t give up on me due to a financial situation I came across when I first met her . In fact, because she was so understanding, I return a month later and purchase my dream car. Mariela also took charge and was positive in every step of the way. In fact, she introduced me to an excellent loan manager Lexi who was compassionate towards my approval and together with Jose (dealership manager), they didn’t pressure me at all in buying my first Lexus. We bought a brand new RX350 F Sport 3 weeks ago with the Help of George Reyes and General Sales Manager Jeffrey Miller. I had researched many vehicles prior to going to look at the Mercedes Gl 450 listed on the Prestige website as I am towing a 22 ft airstream. I was in New Jersey to look at two cars. I never made it past the first stop at Prestige Lexus. I will start with for my research purposes having a free Carfax report was key. Upon my arrival I had very specific needs. J.R went above and beyond spending many hours going over all of the features to the point that we were there past closing. Between him & Trevor in the finance department I left that day in the Mercedes of my dreams. With the towing capacity of 7,500. It was also poring buckets when I got home so I was very great-full for the swag bag I received including an umbrella. It makes a huge difference going to a reputable dealer vs the poor experience I had when I purchased my last car. I also have a bumper to bumper warranty thanks to Trevor. I will definitely keep in touch & send pictures of my trip. I feel they had my safety as women traveling alone towing a vintage airstream in mind over making a deal. I really felt taken care of & left feeling like family.

Purchased remotely. Santiago, sales representative was very personable and gave me comfort in my buying experience. Lexi, the finance manger was incredibly transparent and thorough during our finance finalization. Though they were very busy both were organized they were frequent with communicating with me regarding my purchase. This made purchasing a vehicle from over 1,000 miles away hassle free and with a peace of mind. When you walk away feeling like that from people you’ve never met face to face when buying a vehicle that is priceless!
