Literally the worst store ever. I’ve had nothing but problems with them. Not to mention the quality of their merchandise. Their staff is rude and beware of all their “hidden” fees. If you can go anywhere else I would recommend it. Don’t waste your time, money, and peace of mind.

Rent One has always been the lowest of the low on the Totem Pole of Rent to Own places. Today I visited their store with a friend of mine, to get a replacement power adapter for a very over priced laptop he is buying me. The adapter cord had become frayed and would no longer function.I expected they might have an extra adapter that would work with my laptop. I did not expect them to charge a $25 accident forgiveness fee for the replacement.Wesley looked around and found what I assumed was a new adapter. My friend paid the $25 accident forgiveness fee, and we left the store. When got in the vehicle, I inspected the replacement adapter, and found that cord was also frayed in places.I went back into the store, spoke to Wesley again, showed him the cable and how it too was already frayed in places. He supposedly looked but did not have another cable. Wesley told me to take that cable, and if it didnt work to let him know and he would order another cable.In other words, keep it until it stops working like the other one, pay them another $25 accident forgiveness fee, and theyll replace it again.Just another example of poor customer service that Rent One is notorious. I would not recommended the Poplar Bluff Rent One #81.

The prices and products are awesome. I took one star because their protocol requires them to harass customers about payments because theyve trusted the wrong people before. Otherwise, they definitely need to promote Dennis and Caleb. These are some professional, hard working employees with great customer service skills.

Tora and Connor came by today to deliver table and entertainment center. They were nice and friendly. I appreciate their hard work.

Great service the people in the office and the sales floor was great very professional very pleased. The delivery drives not so much didn’t have any tools with them didn’t even try to help out in anyway and didn’t communicate at all very disappointed in the delivery. I took my front door to start let them move my refrigerator in just to find out that one of them left with the truck and didn’t even bother to tell me this. I ended up doing everything besides moving the fridge in and unloading it off the truck maybe it was just an off day but very dissatisfied with this

Caleb and mike came to bring me my new fridge. They were completely professional and really nice. I love Rent One. They have some amazing people working at the poplar bluff location.

Loved the experience I had. From the lady helping me in the store to the two awesome guys Nick and Caleb delivering and setting the bed up for me. All was nice friendly great attitude and made sure everything was to my liking

The service here was amazing, the staff even went above and beyond sending me pictures of bedroom sets since I was too busy for sometime to come in. The delivery guys were great too Caleb and Nick, we wanted to put everything together on our own and they made sure we knew where all the pieces went and even made sure we didnt want them to stay and put it together!!! Great experience over all!!!

I had to have someone come out to look at my washer. Rent one had someone out at my house the very next day, Nick was very patient when trying to figure out the problem. He was very professional and took the time explaine what the problem was. Thank you for all your help and making me feel like I was an important customer.

Had a small issue with purchase. Called the store, Rebecca answered and instantly addressed the issue. The manager , Joe, then came on board and my situation was handled graciously and quick!!!

My husband and I have been with RentOne for quite some time now. They are always nice, respectful, and they deliver our furniture on time. Caleb and Nick brought out our washer the other day, and they were fast, efficient, and very friendly!

I have been with rent one for 13 to 14 year all ways make thing easy for there customers and great Service and delivery the delivery guys I got or Nick and Dakota did a great job thanks a lot they work at the Poplar Bluff for one

Todd worked hard to find a refridgerator to suite our needs. Nick delivered our refridgerator without a scratch. We were very pleased with our customer experience.

The only reason Ive left one star is because I have to leave something to leave this review. I have had a very unfortunate experience with Rent One. I moved to Poplar Bluff, Missouri in the middle of December 2020 and my belongings were left in our previous state until we could afford to move it. I walked into rent one in Poplar Bluff off Westwood Blvd. and immediately got greeted by Wesley. He asked me my needs, I advised him we had nothing right now and just needed some simple things. He walked over to the washer & dryers picked out a set, walked over to a TV pulled its tag and a tag off a sitting chair. I was very happy with Wesleys service because he took care of things, although slow he got the job done. The items were delivered and the delivery drivers were polite. Heres where the issues start. I decided I wanted to send the chair back and get a full couch and walked into the store picked out a sectional off the floor that was just returned, and was ready to be cleaned. I chose that sectional with the intentions it would be cleaned and delivered the next day by Cassandra- the sales rep. The next day the sofa is brought out and brought in my home set up and the delivery drivers left. Once in my home all I could smell was smoke. It had in fact not been cleaned with stains and damages from the previous owners. I called the store and spoke with Debbie who set up a pickup to get it cleaned correctly, the drivers show up at 3:46pm the same day take it to the store and clean it. The next day rolls over and I get a call from the store around 9:45am advising me the drivers were there to deliver the sofa again WITHOUT telling me and I was grocery shopping in town and attempted to tell me that if I didnt come right then theyd have to come another day with my sofa. I had to call the store and have them sent back by Debbie when I got home. Once the sofa came that afternoon and setup the guys left. I intentionally placed a piece of duct tape on the inside of the cushions to see if theyd been removed to be cleaned and they were not washed, cleaned, removed, sprayed NOTHING again. I called the store again and spoke with Joe, the store manager who yells to Debbie did you see the guys clean that sectional ...like actually clean it? And to that her answer was no. Two different times they brought a sofa into my home that had been returned from a previous customer without cleaning or sanitizing it. How disgusting to think that it wasnt even in their moral compass to clean the merchandise after taking it from someone elses home, who smoked for that matter. Joe proceeds to advise me he would lend me his steam cleaner and the cleaning product Id need and I said YES. I cleaned it myself, 6 hours to properly clean that sectional enough that it was tolerable to sit on. It has taken me 2 more times cleaning it since January to actually get the smoke smell out. Since this issue Ive had nothing but failed customer service, empty threats from horrible collections people that threaten customers over a payment being a week late .... Wow. I spend roughly $300-400 a month to have nice furniture in my home but I absolutely refuse to be threatened, harassed and demoralized by a company that has zero empathy for customers and cannot manage to communicate with each other and have absolutely zero business working in this industry. I hate leaving reviews like this but I feel that people should be aware of the type of service theyre going to be receiving if they decide to go here. I honestly hope its an isolated incident with this store only and doesnt reflect on the business itself because there are several other locations. I have paid my contract up until March 20th and I will be terminating services from Rent One and requesting a pickup from them the same day.

The experience that I have had dealing with the incompetence of the staff at rent one is unexplainable. There was a discrepancy with a payment apparently, and if something happens, Im more than often very reasonable and will work to get the situation rectified. Instead of calling to tell me about the issue at hand, the manager of the poplar bluff branch sent two of his delivery driver to my door at 8am while I was having breakfast with my wife to tell me to fix the payment or surrender the merchandise. I had to call the police to have them removed and let the store know that no matter what the problem was, we would definitely not be continuing our contract under circumstances. I have called the call center for rent one about 5 times prior to this incident in regards to their unprofessionalism, and have been promised a call back from Thomas Moore the regional director. However that has never happened. Totally disgusting service and representatives. My wife was polite in saying that it could be an isolated incident. I however think that they are just incapable of understanding how to operate a business.

Everyone at the Poplar Bluff office was so sweet and handled placing my order professionally and with wonderful customer service. Nick delivered my TV an hour before the original scheduled time after I verified I would be here and with great customer service and professionalism. I called up the office with a question I forgot to ask Nick and they were able to help me promptly. Thank you Poplar Bluff office for being so helpful and getting us set up with our new TV. We cant wait to watch it!

Tyler and Corey delivered my new set of furniture before scheduled time and I was so excited for it! They were very professional and made sure to put a cover over my porch to bring my set in so it wouldn’t be scratched. They helped me rearrange my furniture to where I wanted it and made sure it was how I liked it! Five stars for sure!

My wife and I have been Rent 1 costumers in the past . I became acquainted with the manager Dave. And he very helpful to help us stay within our budget. We hit a period of time we didnt need anything. And then we needed a dining room table. And we bought one on clearance. And now that we have moved we have returned. New manager Joe. He was extremely helpful also. He sat with us and found a dishwasher. Within our budget and made sure we would be happy with. If ever in Poplar Bluff MO go see Joe at Rent One. And if not find the nearest Rent One to you. Youll be happy you did!

They have the most unprofessional employees that i have ever dealt with. If you are late on a payment they will try and follow you through town and chase you down. They even talk to your neighbors and tell your personal business, also the woman named becca likes to call her customers names and threaten them. I have no idea how this place has not shut down.

Great crowd just dont be late or B.S. them they can be houndfull but easy to work withTerms should be extended instead of so short for same as cash I think and payouts buyouts should be reduced if you go past your same as cash instead of paying for the whole contract
