Bit of a long wait because they don’t prioritize fast transactions over transactions that will take fifteen minutes. Most centers are a quick in-and-out; can’t say that about this location. Still, the friendly service makes up for that one miss.

My package was to be the Friday before labor day .Tracking says its stuck between Norfolk and new jersey since last Thursday.. I called and after 45 minutes on the call they tell me its in the Norfolk building since Friday. Which closed for labor day weekend. But I see FedEx trucks driving by my place all weekend maybe 4 times a day..If they couldnt make the delivery on time they should have called .. delivery date and time was 3 to 6 pm them tracking said by 8. Then nothing. Since it has to be signed for wife Sat in front porch waiting since 2:45 on that Friday. This is very heart breaking. For me that she sat there all this time. Youd think the would have updated their tracking process...

Constantly drops my packages off at someone elses house. Have called 18 times in the last 6 months and still happening. Very unprofessional. Even have directions and everything on the app but their drives fail to look at it cause it says single wide trailer and they Constantly drop off at 2 story house. Not impressed at all and fedex still has yet to fix this issue.

This place is definitely hidden. But once you get in their service is fast and simple. Staff is friendly and very informative thats a plus! If your picking up make sure you have your tracking number and photo ID ready. They close early about 3pm give or take. 5 stars for me!

FedEx is a good Shipping Company I never have any trouble with them. Sometimes if I miss a package that have to go pick up could be a little crowded due to lots of people needing packages picked up but thats expected. Staff is always friendly and helpful keep up the great work for thumbs up five stars

Truck #415167 today at 1:15 p.m.Watched the delivery driver literally throw my friends package on the front step instead of placing it down like a professional. Just a heads up; you threw and possibly have damaged an iPhone instead of placing it in the screened in porch that it couldve been placed in like all other deliveries so they dont have a chance of being stolen.

FedEx Express at the Norfolk location is horrible!!! I was given mixed directions on how to pick up my package at first and then was told I could pick it up today. I was told at least 3 times today either by phone, online, and text message that I could pickup my package by 3:30. I called back a few moments ago to verify the FedEx driver had returned to the office with the package before I drive 25 miles to pick it up. The last rep just told me I couldn’t pick it up despite the documentation that says I can. I was informed that I have to wait until 9/8/2020. I’m glad I called, but I am very disappointed with the express services. They must do better!!!

Worst customer service Ive ever encountered. So, I walked in the building where there was a worker behind the counter. I said hello and he did not speak back in fact he did not acknowledge me for about ten minutes. He scanned about three packages extremely slow and when a driver came in he even stopped to hold the door for him still without saying a word to me or looking my way. Mind you this building is extremely small so im literally standing in his face. When I arrived I was the only person there after about ten minutes there were four of us standing inside. After ten minutes without saying a word he raised his hand at me there was no sorry for the wait, no how may i help you, nothing just a waive of the hand in a very what do you want and why are you here gesture. I told him I had a pick up where he then replied shipping off I repeated myself again he then asked for my tracking number very dryly and then without a word went to the back and returned about five minutes later where he then again very dryly asked me for my id and told me to sign for it. After about 15 minutes I finally had my package and was able to leave. I will say I have picked up from this location before and have never experienced this type of rudeness before it usually goes by pretty smoothly and im in and out in five minutes or less but this particular employee was extremely rude in addition to being slow.

Today I would like to give a big shout out to the delivery guy Greg that made sure I had my package for a very important appointment. Being in the military my job is sometimes unpredictable and I was called in on my day off so I was not home to get the delivery. After going to the store at 2600 Ellsmere Avenue in Norfolk Virginia, the team worked diligently to get the package to me so that I could move forward with my appointment. The guy in the store was in constant contact and did everything he could to help me. It renewed my faith in humanity because they understood how important this was to me and they gave me there all. Thank you Greg and Mr Williams.

Ive had two deliveries supposedly attempted at my house and both times they didnt leave my packages which irritates me to my core because they one never knocked on my door, didnt leave a door tag and didnt follow delivery instructions that I have listed on the app. Whats the point of putting delivery instructions when the drivers dont follow them. FedEx has continually gotten worse with delivery. No time frames....just by the end of the day nonsense....which means I have to waste time all day long for a package that Im waiting for , for it not to be delivered because the driver cant follow simple instructions and lie about how they attempted to make contact with the customer....

Despite being signed up to receive a notification via phone 30 min before delivery to my apartment building, the delivery person from this location failed to notify me for three days in a row. You know a companys delivery standards or system is a joke when you force customers to drive 30 min to an hour to pick up a next-day delivery package.

How could FedEx be so careless in returning PPE’s back to a shipper when I called twice to tell you to deliver the item to the address without the suite number? From the front office worker to the customer service to the drivers, there is zero communication and that is a huge disappointment!

Used this location a few weeks ago to send a Christmas gift to Grandparents in the UK, told him it was a gift, he said he needed specifics for Customs. I told him the entire contents. Only find out now, after receiving a bill from UK Customs that the agent didnt mark my package as a gift, now Customs wants me to pay as it wasnt marked gift! They need to train their staff better! Wont ever use this location again!

Fedex will charge you $15 to ship overnight then lose your package all together. Cannot keep the story straight and each person had a different answer. Wouldn’t refund because of an “attempt”. Do not recommend use of FedEx ever. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Getting it done picked up like a boss and these people are helpful! Pain in the butt to find from i64 though. Not robin hood rd exit, its the first military highway exit 281 A. Told me the time frame to come back and really sweet man works up front.

I came on Saturday morning (January 19th 2019). First, it took forever for the woman who was working there to come greet me and ask what I needed and when she finally came out she was cold as ice. I asked if they delivered on Sunday, simple question, a no sorry would have been appropriate but instead she was rude and said we do not deliver on Sundays period! And in case I missed the point the first time, she actually said it several times after that, after which I had to tell her that she was pretty clear the first time! I was not rude to her, Im never rude to people, I had two kids with me and we were the only costumers there. She was definitely not overwhelmed...

They supposedly attempted to deliver my package at 8:02 pm yesterday. I was home all day and the front door was open, plus I have 2 dogs that wouldve let me know if anyone approached. I checked the status of my package at 8:11 pm and saw that it stated delivery attempted customer not available or business closed. I called customer service right away and they contacted this ship center. I was then told that the driver stated I wasnt there and they would not attempt to redeliver my package. I told them that they never attempted in the first place and that the driver had to of LIED. The customer service rep relayed this and I was told that due to the possibility of inclement weather they would not turn the driver around. I stated that it had only been 10 minutes since the supposed attempted delivery and that their entire purpose was customer service and to deliver packages. After arguing with 3 more personnel in customer service I was told that I would be contacted by someone at 8:00 am today (Saturday, 7Jan17) to explain what happened and to get my package delivered today. Well, it is now 9:00 am on 7Jan17 and surprise, surprise I didnt receive a phone call. This company obviously supports the fact that their employees lie and are ok with that, otherwise they would have turned the driver around to fix their mistake! This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had and I still dont have my package!!! Buyer beware of this very sketchy company and ship center!!!

Stood in the lobby for 5 min, nobody came out. I had to knock on the door to the back before someone came out. Then I was asked can I help you? I said I wanted to drop off a package and get a receipt and handed him my package which he just tossed onto the scale. I got my receipt and said thank you. He didnt say a word and just shuffled back into the back. So sorry you had to do you job, sorry to bother you.

Ive been ignored or the employee seems as if they have something better to do then to be of customer service. I had to send a package to Switzerland with contents that required further questioning and lots of French in both the sending and receiving addresses. The employee who helped me today (Niconar? Please forgive me if I spelled that wrong.) was very positive and professional. He was friendly, efficient and offered practical solutions to packaging problems. I come to this shipping center from time to time and this was by far the best experience Ive had. The man deserves a raise. :)

Poor service they charge you for a delivery date that they can’t keep . I paid for two day service and it came in 3 days instead. And they don’t care if you want a refund or not . A waist of time and money never again I waited all days for my package and it never showed up in the time scheduled for 8 when I tracked it! For now on I will use another shipping method.

Very rude staff. Tried to drop off a a sure post package that looked different then what he was used to. Wasted mins of my time showing me a package when I already have dropped these type of packages to two different FedEx places before no issues. After wasting my time and me showing him the directions. Low and behold the package scanned into their system. Instead of politely correcting himself he was still rude. Ill stick with USPS from now on.

For the second time in two weeks FedEx has gladly accepted my money for 2-day or overnight shipping, and has failed to deliver by the guaranteed delivery date; it was absolutely imperative that one of these packages arrive on time. Both times now Ive been told the delay is doe to inclement weather but after looking up weather reports from point of origin to my house, I found nothing except for sun and typical winter temperatures. Ive also bee told I cant pick my package(s) up because its still on the trailer or the container hasnt been opened, so it basically boils down to FedEx being lazy, incompetent, and could care less about their customers. FedEx gladly accepts money for their expedited delivery services knowing full well that your package has an 80% chance of not arriving on time. FedEx is unreliable at best, but I think negligent is the most appropriate term to describe their service and operations. Its bad enough to where, because Amazon only offers FedEx services for free two-day shipping, I will be canceling my Amazon Prime account.If you have the option, use UPS. I had a delivery arrive on a day that 6 of snow was present on the ground! The shipment was not only ahead of schedule, but the driver had a smile on his face and an awesome attitude as he carried the 50+lb package to my front door.In short, FedEx is unreliable, not trust-worthy, and utterly incompetent. I will NEVER pay for their services again, nor will I purchase a product from any company using FedEx as their sole method of shipment.

I received an email stating that my package was left at my door at 11:36. 9/17/2014 I was home at that time and never received the package. I called Fed Ex at 230 and explained what happened. They said give them 2 hours and they would called back. I called them back at 530 they did not have any updates. so, I called again at 7:00pm. They said they let that currier go home for the day. I then called this morning at 805am 9/18/14 and asked to speak to the local office and they told me that I could not call them. In my opinion if a grave mistake like this I would have gone back and resolved the problem immediately or contacted the customer personally. Fed ex has not attempted to do this. so right now I give it a one star.

So I had a phone that needed to be replaced. Verizon guaranteed next day. The FedEx tracker showedIn Fort Worth:4:41 sent to FedEx5:04 Pickup7:55 Left DFW12:41 am Arrived Indianapolis7:31 am Leave Indianapolis8:29 am Arrived Norfolk VAThen the online tracker said Package will be delivered by 8 pm on Friday 20 Feb 2015So I called the terminal at 10 am and offered to pick up the package they said its on the truckat 7:45 pm I called the 1-800 number and got the SERIOUS BULL CRAP run around.1st the guy picks up and tells me oh yes sir your package will arrive by 8pm tonight So I then point out that it was 15 min or so until 8 and he went quite.So he put me on hold and then said Oh yeah no your package wont be there tonight. So I asked why and he said let me call the terminal. 5 min later he says oh sir your package arrived late and so it didnt make it to the truck.When I pointed out that the guy at the terminal had said I could not stop by and pick up the package bc it was on a truck he put me on hold again.He THEN came back and said oh sir your package wont be delivered tonight because they couldnt open the container.So that was the 3rd excuse in less than 10 min for why my guaranteed overnight delivery wasnt happening. .So then I ask to speak to the supervisor and he put me on hold and I am now in hold land and will most likely never have my call answered. Bottom line DO NOT TRUST FEDEX and once they put you on hold to get a supervisor you NEVER WILL get an answer. Current hold time is 31 min.

Very disappointed. Driver never showed up for a scheduled pick-up; when I called to ascertain the status of our pick-up, the FedEx Customer Service agent advised me that they had already visited our location but no one was here to turn over the package. Not True! We were here all day... never left the house! Ive found FedEx to be untrustworthy and unreliable. FedEx drivers (at least this one) will make up false statements to cover their own laziness.

I was guaranteed that my package would arrive on time and undamaged. I received a call from a customer the following morning saying that she received her package but it was completely damaged. The merchandise had been over turned and thoroughly ruined. The packaging was double packed filled with bubble wrap and was labeled fragile, handle with care and this side up stickers. Clearly all of the signs were ignored and the packaging arrived at my clients door upside down. When I called FedEx I was completely dissatisfied with the non helpfulness of the customer service rep. I dont understand why charge someone 80 dollars to ship something with the guarantee that it would be handled with care if its just going to be thrown around like trash. In order to protect the reputation of my business is ended up have to spend extra money and personally drive 3 and half hours to deliver my client there order again simply because this companies negligence nearly cost me my livelihood. Will NEVER bring my business to this company EVER again.
