Got my nose stud changed out to a hoop here today. I called ahead to check the price and was told $15, which is what I paid (its cash only). The piercer was really helpful and told me that the jewelry that was put in when I had it pierced was actually a much larger gauge than normal and is usually used for lip piercings (!). I was in and out in five minutes and the new jewelry looks good. My only complaint is that I wish they had had more selection—there were only three size and two metal options for the hoops. But you cant beat the price. Thanks guys!

I was a walk-in and Craig was super chill with my unpreparedness on what I wanted tattooed. All I knew was that I wanted something before I left New York. Just touristy things. After finding some reference photos on the spot and handing it over, he came up with something in about 30 minutes. We decided to have the piece added onto a semicolon I already had on my wrist. By the end of the session I was so happy with what I got. I apologized about my wishy washy decision-making and Craig proceeded to show me a video of some other customer trying to fist fight his coworker the other day. He assured me I was the least of any nuisance😂The whole process was professional as well as hygienic. The healing process the following days were smooth as well. Some scabbing and flaking but no bleeding. I guess I got lucky! Thanks again, Craig👍

Got about a hand sized back tattoo here back in 2016 and to this day it is still my favorite tattoo. I paid around $300 and since then I have yet to go back to get another tattoo but I definitely want to. I cannot remember the name of the artist who did my tattoo but he was very friendly and did exactly what I told him to do. If you are looking to get a tattoo and you are in the area of St. Marks then I definitely recommend Whatever Tattoo.

I would usually give a good review however, took a friend for a tattoo after I received mine which I did love as it captured exactly what I wanted (done by Craig, great artist). My friend on the other hand has to get hers removed because of poor quality and lack of neatness. If you are looking for perfection, do not get your work done by Jeff Oscar.

This was my first tattoo, and I can genuinely say that Eric is the man!!! Made me feel super comfortable with the entire procedure, from start to finish. Eric works fast, but efficient and detail oriented. Very positive, upbeat personality, will talk to you throughout the process, but will not be a chatterbox if you’re just looking to zone out.Would definitely recommend Eric if you’re in the East village and looking for a reputable artist.

Shout outs to Chris, Jeff, and Helen for making time for by. Came in with a measly sketch I drew on my arm the night before and Chris left me with a dope tatt, thats healing very nicely. Its a lot of ink so keeping it clean was a concern, but they hooked me up with exactly what I needed to take care of it. A service well done and finished on time. I wouldnt trust the pictures of infections, what happens out of the shop are on the clients. Just listen to their advice and stick to it.

I got my nose pierced about 2 years ago and they are the best. My nose had closed on me cause it fell out. I went right back to Jose and he reopened it for me with no problem. It cloes on me again this year trying to change nose rings and I am waiting for them to get cleared so I can reopen it again. (I have really good skin that heals so if not careful it will close on me quickly). I am loyal to them so I will not go no where else. I went with 3 other ppl to get our nose done and they are all satisfied with their results. Come here if you want it done right with cool people such as Jose. Call to check his schedule he is bomb. Everyone there is so nice.

The only reason I am giving the experience 2 stars and not 1 is because one of my two piercings I got here came out fine. I recently got my navel pierced here. The piercing was done completely wrong, without the use of a clamp and with no consideration of my anatomy. Too much of my skin was pierced, resulting in the jewelry sinking into my skin. After two months of trying to heal this piercing as best as I can, I had no choice but to remove it. Im left with two dark scars.

This place is great! You MUST use Tino for piercings. He puts you at ease as well as uses new clean equipment which he shows you before piercing you. I got an industrial spontaneously without knowing the maintenance it needed. After 3 days I got sick of it controlling my sleep so I went back and he helped me make up my mind. He cleaned it and was willing to switch out the bar for hoops to help make myy sleeping easier but I decided that I will get it again in the future but he was very helpful and listened to my concerns && all for free. As I was leaving, he even gave me a discount card for next time... while this is already the cheapest & cleanest looking tattoo/ piercing parlor on the block!TINO IS THE MAN. Youll love him! I will not go to anyone else when I decide to get pierced again.

This is an exceptional piercing studio. I went in on a rainy Wednesday evening about 2 weeks ago and got a second piercing on each earlobe. I used to go to a little shop at the beginning of the strip that is now closed. Admittedly, I used to pass this shop all the time when I was younger and I never went in. But Im glad I gave them a chance. The gentlemen in the studio are inviting and the space is clean, well lit and organized. The piercer, Tito, has been practicing this craft for 18 years and his skill was exemplary. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and so were his colleagues. Tito was even gracious enough to let me ask their opinion on the placement (Im a perfectionist, you see lol) and he even readjusted the placement for me when I requested it. The experience itself was great. All the tools were sterile and Tito showed me each needle that he was using before he pierced my ears, he told me when he was going to pierce me and the whole experience was fun, relaxing and painless. And as an added bonus, the pricing was excellent! ($50 dollars for both lobes, jewelry included) I will definitely be back for my next piercings and recommend them to everyone (seasoned and newbie) whos looking for a great piercing studio that is reasonably priced. Thanks a lot! 😊😊😊

I was a walk-in to get my ears pierced (second piercing) and the staff was awesome. They were super quick and I think the process was done in 5-10 minutes to check my id, sign the paperwork, and get both ears pierced. My piercer was super respectful and checked with me about the placement on both ears before going in and piercing. The price includes the jewelry and I think that its definitely a great spot. Ill be going here for more piercings and my next tattoo.

I had a good experience at this place. Herman did my second tattoo and he gave detailed instructions on the follow up as well as when placing the image on my arm. Staff here are all very welcoming and warm, had pleasing chats! Will come again if I want a third one.

The person who pierced my ear was very nice. everything was very sanitary and very safe. the piercing was done with a needle. i remembered i came here last year when i was 17, and i was unable to get my piercing because i was underage. i am glad that they are a safe and responsible company—checking IDs and doing a thoroughly good job.

I got a bulk of my piercings here back in 2011-2014. This was my go to shop. The prices were great, and Ive never had problems with any of my piercings. I still get complemented on the placement from other piercers today. I loved the vibe here and wish I lived closer.

Went to get my smiley piercing done, the woman at the front was very nice but the actual piercer was sort of hostile? My friends also felt the same vibe and what’s hilarious is that he became friendly AFTER I tipped him. Also he did not use a clamp which resulted in a crooked smiley but the piercing did heal perfectly. Glad my piercing didn’t get infected but wasn’t extremely happy with my experience.

This place was super nice. I went for a helix cartilage piercing. I cant remember the name of the girl who helped me, but she explained the whole process, really friendly. She answered all my questions and gave me info on how to treat my piercing. The whole set-up was sterile, she used a new needle, just really professional. Only cost $25 and they sell the sea-salt cleaning fluid for $5 (I think). If youre new to piercing, Id definitely recommend!

Couldnt remove a screw top nostril stud, then completely messed up my rook piercing. 2 months of no healing and I had to take it out because it was so bad. No titanium jewelry and little jewelry to choose from in general.

Disappointed & upset! I visited with a friend who had her ears pierced here before. She had a good experience and I had high hopes as this was my first cartilage piercing, but I was upset because the piercer pierced my ears before I gave consent. He drew a tiny dot on my ear to mark where the piercing was going to go, and when I saw it in the mirror I didnt quite like the placement. I verbally commented, OUT LOUD, that it was too far in for my liking and then began talking to my friend, when the piercer came in on my ear again - I assumed he was drawing another dot (as he had done on my friend who was pierced just before me) but he was actually piercing my ear. I had no idea he was going into pierce my ear at the moment. I felt betrayed that he had taken advantage of the trust I put in him to pierce me, and especially because I was high key considering getting pierced on another part of my ear instead due to the placement issue. Since the piercing process was swift and didnt hurt at all, I do believe the piercer was extremely skilled and the shop seemed very clean. But he clearly did not care about my comfort or my satisfaction, which is what I was paying for. I just felt violated.

I have been looking for a clean, reasonably-priced shop for a while now and I am no where near disappointed with this place! I had read other reviews about Tino and I was stoked to learn he was the one who would be helping me to stretch my ears back out today! Hes so friendly and welcoming, gave me exactly what I wanted in less than 10 minutes. I definitely look forward to seeing him in two weeks to size up again.

I had gotten my medusa done at Amsterdam Ink and it fell out Sunday night so I went to Hustlers Parlour Tattoo and Piercing to get help for it before it closed considering it had happened that same day about an hour before they said they couldnt help me what so ever and that they wouldnt sell me the piece so today I walked into Williamsburg Tattoo - Brooklyn Tattoo Shop/Parlor and they actually recommended whatever tattoo I thought about it but thought it would be best to check it out when I got there Tino asked me how he could help and I let him know what had happened he was so kind to accommodate me and even helped me put in the piercing free of charge he said that if I had waited another 24hours I would of been screwed and would of had to wait till it healed to get it redone Im thinking of getting my next tattoo done here by him

So went here with my friend while she was getting a small tattoo on her hip. The guy tattooing her was so incredibly rude. Did nothing to make her feel comfortable, and wouldnt make the corrections in the stencil she was giving him. He said hed just freehand it. So he gets down to business, and wouldnt let her hold my hand when she asked. It was obviously in a pretty tender area and she doesnt have the highest pain tolerance. So I start talking to her trying to get her mind off the pain, telling stories, and the guy finally tells me to shut up and stop talking. So we sat there. In silence. While he did NOTHING to make this a pleasant experience for her. FOH staff was also nasty.

My roommate and I went in on a Saturday afternoon and had little/no wait. We were immediately helped with a lot of nice and professional staff. The entire process went quickly and seamlessly.

I had a line work tattoo done here and it’s completely uneven and spotty. It was only my second tattoo, so I didn’t really know what to look for. It wasn’t until I was getting another line work tat in a different place and my artist commented on how he could “fix that for me” that I realized how poorly it was done.

The women who worked the desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. Im scared of needles and fainted after getting my piercing, but they forced me to drink a soda and stayed talking to me until I came back to. And the piercing was quick and orderly and looks good.

Got my micro dermals on my back dimples there and was pleased with the placement even though one rejected months after. One healed well the other didnt because he did not put it in deep enough so it kept getting caught. Definitely was one of the pricier places on st. marks so I probably wont be going back. Addiction tattoo also has good piercers and better prices a few steps away from their store.

My wife and i visited the shop on a recommendation for another tattoo shop in the area. my first tatto, her sixth. we were very happy with both of our tattoos, my wife had X and i had Linda. they were very friendly, patient, and reasonably priced. being from out-of-town, we didnt have much to go by, but we were very pleased with the experience.

Not the cheapest tattoo option on St. Marks, but if you are going to get one while browsing through that sketchy area, do it here. There are some tattoo shops on this street that definitely are not safe, so its better to pay a bit more for a good tattoo than risk getting a messed up one somewhere else
