I have been a returning client here at Soho Ink and plan to come back as soon as Dave makes his way back to NYC to add more ink. I have gotten two tattoos by Dave Tevenal and a piercing by Click. These two are both amazing and everyone at the shop is always very helpful, overall a dope atmosphere. There is a dope lineup of artist here for a range of styles and the very best piercer! Carlos is amazing, give him a raise. It was my first time buying in a shop, as I usually just purchase supplies online but he made it easy. It can be overwhelming looking at so many pigment/ink options. He was patient with me and looked to be as helpful as possible.Thank you Carlos- you are true customer service at its finest.

I had Tristan pierce my ear and he was fantastic! definitely recommend him. very gentle, and honest with his clients. he was super fun to talk to as we waited to get started and very knowledgeable of the products sold. definitely has a lot of practice under his belt and is ready for any client. super personable and made the overall experience 10x better.

I had an appointment with someone guest appearing to work at the shop. The place was nice. They sell alot of stuff there besides tattoos! I had a good experience at this place and everybody was friendly!

Had an appointment with Michela, and from start to finish the experience was wonderful. Everyone at the studio was kind and friendly to each other and customers alike. The space is warm and inviting, and filled with amazing art pieces. Michela was an absolute sweet heart, and I enjoyed having her tattoo me. I already cant wait to return and get more work done by her and the many other talented artists I had the pleasure of speaking with.

Came in for a Nose piercing with Dennis. He was lovely, patient, and very informative. They sterilize the jewelry before placement for about 10 minutes, all piercings are done with a needle and Dennis was super quick, hardly felt any pain. Definitely recommend!!!!

Had a very positive experience in Soho Ink. The staff take your temperature before proceeding. They are friendly and helpful. They have dope art and tattoo artists. Go take a look for yourself, form old school to anime. They do different styles of tattos. Definitely going back on July to get some merchandise from them.

They were very professional, very clean, willing to take the walk in. They also charged over $300 for a black and grey the size of a ritz cracker so it just doesn’t seem worth it to me. You could get the same quality tattoo elsewhere for wayyyy less. But they do good work!

Krish is the best! I was a little nervous about getting a tattoo of my dog but Krish nailed it! I get lots of compliments. Also, the staff and environment overall were very nice and comfortable.

Click was amazing!! Very professional and respectful, made me feel comfortable, I never write reviews but He was very professional, he made sure I didn’t feel exposed, he took his time to find the right piercing close to my price range, he wanted to make sure that I left with a ring that I would be happy with and not everyone would take the time to do that, I will be Back!! And also, usually I feel uncomfortable and I get discharge right after a peircing, I was expecting to bleed a lot especially where I got my peircing done but nothing at all, I just got it today and it feels like I healed already lol

I got my nips pierced here spontaneously on my trip to nyc this past February and I love my piercings. The piercer knew what he was doing and made sure I was 100% happy with the look and comfortable throughout the procedure. So if youre looking for a good piercer I highly recommend Click !

Michela Bottin did my tattoo and it was such a lovely experience. She was so, SO kind throughout the whole process. Drew me a script by hand that I absolutely loved and moved the tattoo around (without me having to ask) so it would fit perfectly with the curvature of my body. The healed tattoo looks great.

Went to get my ears re-pierced with Click, awesome experience. The relationship the staff has with each other was comfortable and welcoming to everyone. I went here just before everything completely shut down. I really hope they can get back on their feet, and best of luck to the owner whose art work is just amazing.

My first time at Soho Ink. The artist Logan Aguilar was what brought me here. Ive been following his work for a while now and was just waiting for the right time to book. I finally booked with him for a huge full torso tattoo that took about 6 sessions to complete. He did not fail to amaze me at all. Its a sick piece and Logan doesnt play around with his art i tell ya. I gave him the concept and permission for creative freedom with the piece. He took that and ran with it creating a one of a kind piece. Hes really knowledgeable, easy to talk to, smart and really thinks things through and makes the best decisions. He is totally meticulous and i have to say super clean and sanitary. Cant wait to get back in the shop and get so more great art.The shop itself is very big, well kept, clean, and inviting. All the staff there are super gregarious. They sell great jewelry, ink, tattoo guns, original artwork, apparel etc. Its a kool place to get worked on in. I didnt mind just hanging in the shop at times leading up to my appt time.Anyway i hope if you are reading this and on the fence about this place, jump the hell over the fence and get your a$$ up in there. You will not regret it!

Flash tattoo advertised at 66.6 then when I chose which tattoo from the flash they gave me some excuse that it’s a hundred some? So I’m like what happened to the flash sale at $66.6?“Oh the tattoos start at 66.6 but the one from the flash coat 180”So I’m like Na I want a refund. And they’re like I can’t get a refund since I booked the flash tattoos it said that on the website.Maybe you should specify the prices for the flash instead of rounding out all the tattoos at 66.6. It confuses people and I wasn’t the only one who got confused and basically robbed

I LOVE the overall atmosphere....Everyone is very laidback and friendly and welcoming and talented...My tattoo artist was Michela Bottin and she did a phenomenal job on my Species tattoooooo....Def is my go to tattoo shop from now on.

Before going shop i did couple e mail with steve. today i went for to get appointment. But shop deciding to which body part can be tattooed or not tattooed. I didn’t get it. My body and i can decide wherever i want and how i want. In the shop have chairs for customers but not allowing to sit on social distance, not allowing to see tsirts pant and other staff and not allowing to let you in. Talking about policy. But there is no lawful policy to read or see in store. So rude, unprofessional shop never ever again.

Always a Very clean shop. All the employees are friendly! They care about the clients visiting its a nice relaxing and calm atmosphere, which to me makes a for a great tattoo experience!! For both those who are getting tattooed and the artist creating it! The walls are decorated in all different types of paintings where you get tattooed and the upfront has gorgeous shop merch and jewelry!! Along with any and all tattooing supplies! 10/10 suggest getting tattooed here

I got my nose pierced by Click. He made the entire experience comfortable and to be honest it did not hurt as bad as I thought it would. Click was very professional and knowledgeable. The only downside is that it was a bit pricey but I do believe it was worth it given that Ive gotten my nose pierced twice before and it got infected both times. But this time seems to be going much better.

The reviews I read were true, Soho Ink was recommended on Google and other sites, and I couldnt agree more, hence the 5 stars! Soho Ink studio is a big clean space, with friendly and professional humans welcoming you from the minute you step in, I arrived as a walk -in.The lovely guys at the front discussed my plans, gave me an estimate and approx times available.Tom Tapit was my artist, he listened to what I wanted, saw some ideas I had captured on my phone and then went off to draw a stencil up. Tom was awesome, he discussed the tattoo, and had good banter. Most importantly the tattoo has clean lines, attention to detail and great shading as well as dimension, exactly what I was looking for. I couldnt be happier, both my sister and I had work done, and Soho Ink made us feel comfortable, relaxed and 100% we would recommend Soho Ink!

Dennis was amazing for my tragus piercing. I was very nervous but he put me at ease quickly. He was so kind and gentle and the whole process was calm with very little discomfort. I would 100% recommend him and would definitely come to see him from eastern Long Island again for any future piercings.

Went in because an earring had gotten stuck on my ear and I couldnt get it out, even when the piercing healed. Click got it fixed in seconds after I walked in, whereas other places wanted me to make an appointment. Will definitely go here for my next piercing!

Called on the phone and they said they were fine with tattooing my face and scheduled a consultation. I came all the way up from south jersey because I like the artists there. Right when I get there they decline doing my tat. and where no help whatsoever in helping me find another place or resolving the issue. artists are good but managers and whatnot are a bunch of douche bags that wasted my time and money and lied to me

Got my first tattoo done here by Turko. I showed up without a reservation and they were still able to accommodate me immediately. Although it is a bit more pricey based on my research, it is well worth it as they have great artists and are extremely clean and professional.

Grand Opening of Soho Ink

I went to SoHo Ink for a cover up tattoo. The vibe of the place is cool and the people are friendly but for the price they gave me for my piece to be honest it was not worth it. I feel like I ended up paying more for the experience rather than the actual tattoo. After my session I was told by my artist to take the plastic bandage off, and place a fresh one which he provided me on and leave it on for 5 days. I dont have anybody helping me with this and it can be quite difficult if you do it by yourself, therefore i normally go back to the tattoo parlor and ask for them to do it which in most cases isnt a problem and they will kindly give me a hand. I went back to this spot with the same expectations but when i asked for their help i was told that, the second bandage was not necessary and gave me all their opinions on how it should be taken care of. Finally i asked again and they lined me up and someone did it really quick but i had to be firm about what i wanted, and considering I payed over three hundred dollars for their service i should not have been met with such resistance.Overall, if you want a good looking tattoo, these people will deliver but just know youre paying for the expirience at a costly price tag.

I wouldnt go lower than three stars because I had a chance to see the design printed out before it was tattooed and perhaps I didnt get vocal enough about where the tattoo was headed but I was pretty disappointed with the experience and outcome.I was a walk in with a fairly basic geometric tattoo request - essentially two squares side by side. I had to freehand the design on my phone with my finger and the artist simply took a picture with his tablet, traced it himself, and printed it out. I told him I was looking for straight lines but he could have creative freedom to make it look sharp. The drawing was a copy of mine with no updates or corrections. It was my error to assume he was going to enhance it from that point but he did not. He didnt say anything to me during the entire process, wrapped up, and moved me along.Again, I take ownership of the overall outcome but I would never return to or recommend Soho Ink. Cool atmosphere and maybe I just got matched with a less skilled artist being a walk in, but not an experience I would recommend risking.

I will need to get my tattoo lasered off. So bad that no one even knows what it is. Utter waste of money. Artist didn’t even show me design until I asked to see it after he stencilled it on. Really wasn’t interested in what I was trying to achieve. After telling me 2 weeks before hand it was doable. On the day i was told not achievable exactly as I wanted but then what I’ve got is a black splotch. Choose your designer carefully if you’re going here and do not sign any paperwork or pay until you’re sure as they get you to do all this before they actually show you anything. Not my first tattoo so I know how others work!

My tattoo artist was Luiz Lopes. His best work is found on his Daily story of his social media so he’s even better than his work shows.Just a kind and sincere guy all around. There’s some people you meet and their energy is so positive it’s contagious. Luiz has a passion for what he does that you can just feel him being as into the process of creating as the client receiving the art experience.My tattoo took 2 sessions to complete but Luiz worked fast enough to finish before the time anticipated. If you can sit well for a tattoo Luiz is going to give you something beautiful. His speed combined with overall experience and at a great shop gives the client a great value for what you get.I got a realism version of an anime character. It came out looking better than the draw up. Bright colors similar to a painting. Allow him creativity freedom and he will impress. He’s very easy to talk to for changes.This was an amazing experience I wanted to get another one on my way out. Thank you to everyone at soho ink.

Love it so much I would work there

This place was amazing! I went here with my best friend because I had recently changed my hoop nose piercing and it got veeeery irritated. The gold hoop I was sold turned black so you can imagine.Click was there to replace the trash gold hoop with a beautiful one and replace it for me as well. Im not going to say it didnt hurt at all because that would be silly, but Click took exceptional care of me and did everything in his power to make it as painless as possible. He also made me laugh a few times.He gave me the perfect advice on how to care for my irritated nose piercing and within an hour i felt relief. Would definitely go back to him for any future piercings I have in mind
