I had Envy and he was wonderful. Very kind and great attention to detail. Pricy for sure - my only qualm is that it took longer than expected, so I did have to pay more than I was quoted. However, I was made to feel comfortable the whole time and I’m in love with the end result.

My artist was Eena.Before coming here for the first time, I already had 2 tattoos from 2 other shops in different states. From my limited experience, Eena is by far the most skilled. I emailed 3 weeks in advance to schedule my appointment; they were very responsive over email and helped a great deal in helping me to define and perfect the tattoo I wanted.When I got there, I waited about 10-15 minutes until we got started. The piece itself took a couple of hours and we took 2 breaks. My artist took great care with attention to detail and gave me a piece that I’m quite happy with.A lot of the negative reviews are geared to the fact that this shop is pricey. I would agree—they are. However, I can tell you from comparing the quality of tattoos with friends and a lot of people I see around, that higher quality is worth it for something you will have on your body for the rest of your life. If that means paying a little more here, I would say it’s worth it. I cannot speak to all of the artist’s work but I can say that my artist did a fantastic job.I’m already planning on going back for another one 👍(Note: she only did the swords, not the crown)

So I wanted a sunflower on my shoulder. I emailed them and asked for a quote. They were friendly and said my tattoo would be $450. Kind of pricey but Ive wanted the tattoo for a while so I decided it was worth the investment. I got to the tattoo shop and the first question I asked was if the tattoo would have any issues with my skin tone. I am a brown skinned girl and I have some melanin on me. She said it would be fine and not an issue at all. The tattoo was done beautifully and it looked great! I went off on my way to let it heal. After about two weeks, I noticed the tattoo really blending into my skin tone. I emailed them again and they said to wait until it was fully healed, which would be a month after I first got it. At that point it had gotten worse. You could only see the center seed and the yellow on the flower completely blended into my skin. I emailed them again and asked if there was any solution we could come up with so that the tattoo would work for me and my skin tone in the long run. They didnt answer for a while and all they said after was that they would do a touch up for $150 dollars. Like excuse me?? Touch ups first of all are supposed to be free. And second, as an experienced tattoo artist, she shouldve known that these colors and this design would not work on my skin tone. Again I emailed back asking if she could come up with a more permanent solution so I wouldnt have to pay $150 every month for a tattoo touch up. I was willing to pay if we talked it out and came up with a way to alter the tattoo to accommodate my skin tone. However, there only answer was to wait three months for a touch up. I wasnt going to walk around with a messed up tattoo for 3 months and then not even fix the issue. So I decided to contact Blackfish Tattoo instead. They were so accommodating and understood my skin tone issues and offered free touch ups and to change it in any way I would prefer to further accommodate my skin tone. If youre looking for a more personal experience with a tattoo artist that shows more care and concern for your tattoo and how you feel about your tattoo, I would go to Black Fish Tattoo.

Went in to get a quote, wanted 3 letters on my fingers and the very condescending artist quoted $500, absolutely ridiculous. Wanted to get another on my forearm no bigger than 2-4in and was quoted $450. Trying to charge over $900 for 2 tattoos is absolutely disgusting.

Very clean place w/ experienced artists. No Scrubs!! My tattoo came out super clean & sharp just like I imagined it. If you want a $50 tattoo go in someone’s attic.

Absolutely horrible service here. The receptionist (Jimin) needs to understand how to treat customers and the manager (Ashley) needs to understand how to respond to concerns that are raised.When speaking with Ashley afterwards about the situation, she sent these exact words:To be quite frank with you, I am apologetic towards what had happened and how frustrating and angry you must/might have felt waiting for your touch up appointment; however, I do feel that this situation is being escalated.Completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior from a manager. If Ashleys manager or any management is reading this review, please contact me.I made an appointment for a tattoo touch-up about a month in advance and confirmed with the lady who called me a day before that I would be showing up. When my family and I showed up at the shop, the receptionist (Jimin) told me that the artist was still busy with another tattoo and would no longer be able to take me that day. I wasnt notified beforehand about this at all. After telling her that I was traveling specifically for this and would not be able to reschedule, she finally said the artist would do it but I would need to wait.We ended up waiting for over AN HOUR AND A HALF. Aside from speaking with me at the beginning, Jimin ignored me and my family completely. At around the 40 minute mark, Ashley came out and apologized to us and told us it would be another 15 minutes. About 30 minutes after that, my sister spoke to Jimin, who came back and told us to continue waiting. At the one hour and 30 minute mark, both my parents commented to her: Its been one and a half hours already to which she LITERALLY IGNORED US COMPLETELY. Not even a single word in response. In the email in which I told the manager this, she denied any rudeness and instead pointed out the ONE time she did respond about the store hours (my mom asked when they were closing). Aside from at the very beginning, Jimin offered not a single apology or asked if we needed anything during the entire time we waited. Again, this fact was denied afterwards by both Jimin and Ashley. Please check your security camera footage and you will see that I am not lying.The store also blatantly violated their COVID-19 protocols. There was one artist who was allowing guests despite the store having a no guest policy. When asked, Ashley said: I do want to explain that our assistant was indeed doing her job correctly when she had explained this to your sister. She had also explained that the couple who was receiving a tattoo were both getting tattooed and that the artist who was working on them was aware and comfortable with both of them sitting in. As for your touch up, I believe Diego had also refused having guests sit in during the touch up. How are some customers allowed to violate the policy and others not? I should also add that the tattoo I was getting touched up was one that I got together with my sister and during our first appointment, neither was allowed to sit in on the other (the other wasnt even allowed in the store and had to wait outside). I am completely okay with this policy, however I dont understand why its in place if not all customers have to follow it.Throughout this whole ordeal, I was offered apologies but not a single solution to the extremely unsatisfactory service I received. Instead, when communicating with Ashley about my concerns, she denied everything (I cannot say this happened....) and instead said I was escalating it too much. As someone in sales, I literally cannot believe that as a manager she responded to a customer concern in this way.Please go somewhere else if youre looking for a tattoo. There are plenty of other places that do fine work, treat their customers like people, and dont violate their COVID protocols.

My first experience with Mischief Tattoo was great. I walked in and was able to be seen right away. The people here are very friendly and accommodating. The artist Envy was incredible every step of the way. The price was right and the final results were exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend this place. They know what they’re doing and it shows. So happy with my tattoo!

I cannot say enough good about this place! I went with 2 other people, and we each had a different artist. All of us were beyond happy with our tattoos. @lingjin_tattoo did mine. She is truly talented. I have a sleeve, among many other tattoos, and this is honestly the best experience I’ve had getting a tattoo. She very kindly asked me if she could add some dots. I said yes, and it added a beautiful layer to the tattoo I never would have thought of. The other tattoos that my friends got were spectacular. All three of us were planning our next trip there for next time. Thank you Mischief Tattoo for an incredible experience.

Mike Stapleton is amazing!! I called him with an idea in mind, and he worked with me to make sure the final design was exactly what I wanted. I had the tattoo done a week right after I called and it was absolutely perfect. Mike made my first tattoo experience easy and painless. Ill be back for more :-)

I visited this place for a walk-in tattoo and ended up commissioning a newer artist for a small piece on my shoulder. I had nothing but a good experience here. The counter girl was super helpful and knowledgeable of both tattoo and piercing needs. All of the artists seemed friendly and professional. Did I mention talented? There is a really excellent crew at this shop!

I have over 30 tattoos, so I know what a good tattoo experience is and what isn’t. I made an appointment two weeks in advance and sent the image of what I wanted, but when I showed up the outline wasn’t drawn and I had to wait an hour. Additionally, this shop doesn’t change by the hour, they just make up random quotes of how much an tattoo will charge, which is unfair to person paying. Finally, my tattoo faded like crazy, and I took amazing care of it. I can’t believe I went here and paid a significant amount of money for an especially faded tattoo!

I came here over the weekend after finding the shop on google, I saw they had good reviews and browsed their instagram which showcases their unbelievable work, so thought Id check them out. I got a tattoo from Juan who was so kind and professional. He wanted to make sure he got my tattoo perfect and he definitely did! Every artist here has amazing work, I will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommend!

They do sick work. All the artist they have there have very different styles, American traditional, new school, minimalist. You name it they have it. I liked the place so much I went back for 4 more pieces. Go see Jhonny he is my favorite.

I have a few tattoos already and I love getting them. We came to NY for our 15th anniversary and have enjoyed ourselves so much. This was a bucket list item for my wife, a new tradition for us as a couple. Mario my artist went above and beyond to accomadate for the tattoo I was looking for. He stayed later than normal and did not complain one bit. If you ever go I highly recommend Mario. My wife got a tattoo from Young and he was on POINT! She didnt want anything too big for her first and I figured being small that the detail would not be as good as a bigger tattoo. I was WRONG he did an amazing Job and so quickly. I would give 10 stars anyday. Trust me if you go somewhere else you will regret it! Thank you so much for making our memories happen the way you did!

Let me start by saying one word: PERFECT! Total spur of the moment, found this place on Yelp and now I have a new tattoo on my upper, outer wrist. Joy very teeny tiny, cursive, so pretty and feminine. I havent even had it for 24 hrs and Im getting sooo many compliments on it! Zyborg specializes in clean lines...so pretty! Cant wait for my next!

I went to get my septum pierced, they were all cool as hell. follower regular procedures ; showed the utensils he was going to use to show that it was new and clean. this is by far the greatest tattoo shop ive been to.
