I chose this place b/c of an emergency screen repair. I called around to a few places and Dr. Gadget seemed to have the best prices. Aside from that, the front line customer service was far better than the other stores I called. When I went in, Stephen helped me, and had me in and out in under 1/2 hour. Screen/phone works great, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Dont let the outside appearance of the store fool you-inside you have good quality humans working on your electronics!

I had a great experience at Dr. Gadget today. There was something wrong with my iphone screen apart from it being cracked after I dropped it. The display on my phone wasnt visible on top of it. Just blacked out and backlit. I dropped my phone off and within 30 mins (as promised), I picked it up looking and working as good as new. Quick and efficient service. Well worth the fee. This is by far the best phone fixer shop I have ever been to. They can fix just about anything. Unfortunately, I am very hard on my phones and they have fixed water damage, replaced my LCD, fixed speaker and volume issues and battery replacement. They are not just a place trying to take your money, they truly care about their customers and want to help them out. I will never go to another cell phone repair shop other than this one!

Made an appointment online to save $10 on an already reasonable price for a screen repair. Went in and was greeted immediately and my phone was looked over to make sure everything worked properly prior to the service. I was quoted it would take 30-40 minutes but they were done in 20. Great service all around and will definitely return if anything happens in the future!

So thrilled with the service I received. The owner was incredibly friendly and the prices were amazingly affordable. My phone was in terrible shape and it looks brand new. They really take their time going over everything to make sure you are ok with fees and charges for the repair and explain thoroughly everything that they are going to do with your computer. i wouldnt hesitate coming back here. This place is great. This is my second time coming to this shop and they have fixed my phone at both times. Claudia worked on my phone and she knows what shes doing. Brock also knew what he was doing. Super friendly and definetelu affordable. They wont rip you off.

Do NOT go to this location. I used to have the best experiences here under previous management, but now I will never return. Honestly, there’s some new(Er) person who manages this location and his people skills are non-existent. He has no business working in a field where he has to interact with customers. I was quoted a price in the morning by an employee & received my carbon copy of the price. A couple hours later and I return to pick up my phone and it’s this other guy working who says he’s manager. He rings me out while talking to me, does not say anything about he total, charges my card, and I get my receipt and leave.I later meet with my boyfriend and he asks me how much I paid. I tell him, and he is shocked because we have used the location 3 other times for the same screen glass screen repair, and it has always been at least $20-30 less than I paid. I then check the receipt and realize I was charged for an LCD repair, which is NOT the repair I needed.I returned to the store, And the original employee was back, I ask to see my copy of the receipt because I was promised a price PLUS discount from him that morning, which I was not charged. This gentleman came back with a box of at least 150 completely unorganized (likely trash) original receipts and tells me “you can look through here if you want.”After finally getting the Managers contact info, his tone was completely unprofessional and pompous during the conversation, as he proceeded to explain to me that he actually gave me a $10 discount and should have charged me more!!!I could not believe it. Finally, this man had the audacity to tell me that if “it means that much, [I] can come into the store and [he] will hand me a $10 bill, like he was doing me some favor? I was honestly shocked. I do not like writing negative reviews. But this is the first time I have been compelled to write this review. Do not use this location. If anything, go to another location where this manager does NOT work. Trust me.

It’s a family run business by a father(Brock Reed) and son who has the cheapest prices in the surrounding towns(I called a ton of stores prior to fixing my cracked screen on my iPhone 6s+ with them). He told me he’d be done in an hour or so but he got it back to me in less than 30 minutes. You’d be a fool to use anyone but them for all of your technology problems. I also learned he knows a lot about helping small business owners with online advertising. It was nice to see a small business owner share his knowledge with me just out of the kindness in his heart in small talk while ringing me up. I will definitely be using him and referring everyone I know to him.

Best of the Best! Utilized these guys to change out the front and rear glass, digitizer, and frame on my Samsung Note 8. These guys fixed it same day (in about 2 1/2 hours actually) and were the best priced out of the five or six other businesses I called I would highly recommend them to anyone needing an electronic repair!

Fantastic service. I brought my S4 in on a Friday at 3pm with a cracked screen. The owner quoted me the replacement price but found out later that the LCD needed replacement as well due to a small crack. Instead of up-charging me for that, he charged me the originally quoted price and threw in a case! All this and I got my phone back same-day by 6pm.The shopkeeper was super friendly and attentive and seemed really concerned about getting my phone back to me as quick as possible. Couldnt have been more pleased.

I have used CPR in the past and been very pleased. However, I made a mistake some months ago and took my iPad somewhere else for repair. What a mistake. The replacement screen had a 90 day warranty and failed after 120 days. I took it to CPR in Naperville and they replaced the screen in less time and for less cost than the other place. Even better, they said the new screen has a lifetime warranty. Plus, Austin ‘McGyvered’ a fix to the home button that the other place messed up. I learned from my mistake. CPR has earned a customer for life.

Ive always been weary about cell phone repair shops but I couldnt have had a better experience here, the employees were very polite and knowledgeable about the repair I needed (cracked screen for an iPhone 7 plus) and they offer very competitive prices not to mention you dont have to deal with waiting at/for the apple genius people for hours, they had my phone fixed like new in under a half hour! I will definitely be coming here for any repairs in the future!

Athough my experience wasn’t perfect it was still great and 5 star worthy! I got my iPhone 6 screen replaced on Sunday. I left the store and it seemed to be working ok. However, a couple hours later it was charging and the screen just went completely black. I brought it back to the store the next morning. They replaced the screen again immediately (took 20 min) and did not charge for the second replacement because they offer a warranty. Phone has been working great since. Looks brand new :) Would definitely recommend and will go back in the future for my repair needs.

I had a broken iPhone and my wife had a broken iPad. We brought them into the store to see what the cost for repairs would be. The prices were great so we got them both fixed. They had them both fixed in less than an hour. The employees were very friendly and informative. Absolutely amazing service! First, I came in to fix a laptop screen and had one of the managers, Robert, who was extremely patient and honest. The pricing was upfront and at a really good cost! Then, the day after I went to pick up my laptop, my phone screen shattered. I took it over to iFixster in tears, thinking there was nothing to do because I left for school in the morning and it was 4 pm. Robert and his other employees calmed me down and told me that they could fix it, and not only that, they did it in 15 minutes! Seriously a god sent! I would recommend this store one hundred percent and wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I did some research and decided on iFixster for the repair price and the 120 warranty.PROS -1) Liked the function checks they do when you drop off an pick up to make sure both parties understand what works and what does not - in my case, everything worked, just the glass was cracked.2) Repair was done within 24 hours and cost was as advertised.3) A 120 day warranty in case I need it - everything looks and works like new.4) Best price I found in the local area and way 50% cheaper than Apples price (plus you have to send it away to Apple).5) Staff very friendly and helpful.CONS -My only complaint is that nobody called me to say the repair was done and it was passed the time it was promised. When I called the store there was no answer. I drove there to see what was happening and my iPad was ready, so I was able to pick it up then. Perhaps they were short-staffed that day?
