I thought I had lost significant data and system functionality in a hard drive crash. They properly diagnosed the problem and were able to restore all of the data and then restore my Mac Mini with a new drive. They really saved me. These guys are great! They helped me save my old 2011 Mac Pro Silver Tower.They put a new hard drive in with a Windows operating system and the amazing thing was they quieted the fans with software rather than parts.Very cool!

I went there to get a new battery for my laptop and Patrick was super helpful! Would highly recommend getting repairs done here as opposed to apple. The wait time at apple was just way too long (3 days!!) and the work is just as good here. Will come again in the future if I ever run into issues.

I drove all the way from Chicago to this location and I can say it was worth the drive. My Mac was completely gone. The employee ( I think his name was Patrick) was incredible. My hard drive and battery were gone.. They were both replaced and he was able to recover my files. I will definitely going back.

Gave my MacBook pro to replace the screen, the replacement looks good. No bait and switch or delays with the work. Pleased with the work.

Before driving an hour from the Northside of Chicago, I used the contact form on their site to ask a handful of questions. I heard back the following morning and called. Thayer was extremely helpful with almost no sales push, which I always appreciate. A couple days later I brought home two iMacs that my wife and I sorely need for our work to keep up with demand. I even brought Thayer some of those slippery elm lozenges that bare his name, and that countless of my students and fellow vocalists have been using forever. When you get personalized service, you just feel like returning the favor. Ill be back for our next upgrade.

The guys working here are incredible. I left the store thinking it to be too good to be true. I am more than glad to have called Experimax as the last store I would call before I give up on my MacBook Pro. My MBP 2013 died. SSD failure. Apple convinced me it will be expensive to get it replaced, if they could find the drive. And, so did other big apple certified computer center. With Experimax, all it took was 4-5 minutes to get an estimate, expected repair finish timeline, and, sign paperwork to get my SSD replaced and MBP working guaranteed with less than half the cost others quoted, including Apple. I can not stress enough how wonderful the experience was Experimax.

I had liquid damage to my 2018 MacBook Air. We were sure it was a goner...especially after several other repair shops wanted to jump immediately to a VERY expensive logic board replacement. Fortunately, Patrick at Experimax was able to resurrect the laptop for a very reasonable price, and I had it back the very next day...cleaner than when I dropped it off. Ive worked with Experimax on a few issues for my older Macbook and they have fixed it each time saving me money and updating a few elements within the computer to help it operate better. These guys ( Thayer and Patrick ) completely saved my phone from certain death. They went above and beyond and were patient with my questions. Patrick somehow untwisted my “Got run over by a car” phone and Thayer stayed a little late just to accommodate a payment issue for me. My phone is working great. Experimax was able to find the exact MacBook Pro that I needed at less than half the cost of a new one. It looks and works like new, but without any of the keyboard issues that have plagued the recent MacBooks Pros. They will be my first call from now on.

A very good store to have your Apple electronics fixed! Patrick , who was on duty was very thorough in checking my older iphone 6s. Needless to say, my iphone is practically good for another year, maybe 2. A change in battery and the charging port breathed new life into this phone. As a 30 year PC user who had NEVER touched a Mac, I went in looking for a starter Apple computer on which I could use a special MAC only writing application. I gave Mike my budget and parameters and within 3 days they had found me an Im-MAC-culate Mini-Mac that has been, after a 2 to 3 day acclimation period, AWESOME as is Mike and Experimac in Naperville, IL. Thanks you all! Not a convert yet, but enjoying my work on the Mini-Mac. I should say too that the staff provided key info that helped me make the transition to the MAC OS.

This place provides great service at reasonable prices, plus they have Apple TV in the waiting area for when they are working on your phone. Will return in the future.

They need to work with their prices for mobile devices! A USED iPhone 8 is $480 an up here, while a new one straight from Apple costs $450.
