I visited the store Tuesday to look around for a fridge and I worked with Dan that day who was great in explaining all the specs and delivery process he also mentioned that the store did price match which I was excited to hear. I ended up returning the next day once I had the exact measurements for the refrigerator this time I worked with Scott who proceeded to tell me that the store didnt price match Costco then once he seen the price told me that they did but not on delivery and installation he also told me that the product was out of stock when in reality it was just on back order???he seemed very nonchalant and unhelpful at the time I know the store was busy and I can understand that but at the end of the day Im a customer trying to purchase a new refrigerator. After dealing with him for a while I asked for a new salesman then I worked with Michael who was also very helpful and actually sat down with me and went over the price with me and explained everything through which was different than what Scott told me hopefully he can improve on his customer service but I am grateful for the other two salesmen who was helpful

Purchased new kitchen appliances in July 2021. Had many issues with the dishwasher. No one I spoke with at the Rt. 59 location was interested in helping resolve our issues. We wanted to shop local and support a family owned business but it was ultimately not worth it since they provide the same frustrating customer service you typically encounter/expect from big box retailers. Appliances are very expensive for the average consumer and Grand Appliances did not appreciate our business or the fact that we were returning customers.

I called the Grand Appliance store in Naperville on Tuesday night to inquire about a Frigidaire 50 pint dehumidifier . They were out of stock, but the salesman Chad checked their other locations and had one transferred in on Thursday. His customer service was outstanding and I will definitely return to Grand and Chad for future needs. I had a Frigidaire dehumidifier for 7 years and loved it, but had to replace it due to a recall.

The shopping part was easy once we decided on the refrigerator we wanted. Sales person was helpful. The delivery was in 2 days. The delivery guys were polite and helpful.

Our current Maytag washing machine needed replacing, so we decided to try Grand. There were dozens of models to choose from, but when we found one we liked, Michael Carter offered to help us. He advised us that models not in stock could take 6-8 weeks to arrive, so he checked our choice. Fortunately, that model was in stock and could be delivered in a few days. The models price was reduced for the holiday weekend and the fee for delivery, hook up and removal was very reasonable, so we felt the time to buy was now. It was all handled quickly and efficiently, so we are hoping adjusting to the new machine is as simple.

We worked with Tammy at Grand Appliance in Naperville. First trip in, she was very knowledgeable on all the different brands of kitchen appliances. We stayed under budget and even added a washer and dryer! A week later, we visited the cabinet maker and found out we needed to adjust two of the kitchen appliances (the Zephyr exhaust insert and the under the counter bar refrigerator). Back in to see Tammy, told her what adjustments we needed to make. She was very accommodating, she bore no attitude because we needed to make adjustments and she found replacements for each piece within minutes! The staff seems to work as a team, in helping Tammy find the exact pieces we needed. So pleased! We now await delivery and installation.

My daughter had used Grand Appliance previously and was very pleased with the service provided by Michael Carter. My wife and I recently purchased a property in Morris and needed new appliances. We went to Grand Appliance and spoke with Mr. Carter to get them and he was very helpful. We had a list of the appliances we provided to Mr. Crater and he arranged the quote and subsequent order over the phone (we are currently in California.) It was very easy and quick. We were in need of a new washer and dryer and leaning towards a Speed Queen. Surprisingly they had a set in stock with considering the current times of limited supply of just about any large appliance. We did some research about what we wanted and after going through a few brands and models with the salesman he made us comfortable about our decision. He was very helpful, didnt try to upsell one brand over the other and didn’t seem biased about Maytag, ge, speed queen etc. and was very knowledgeable about the features and specs of the washers and dryer’s. Grand appliance was never really on our radar to buy an appliance, wish we would have considered them in the past. I’m pretty sure we’ll be back for a future appliance.

The store manager, Megan, did a great job helping us with a washer and dryer purchase at the end of the day.

They dented the top of the dishwasher during install. Top sprayed was unable to clip back in. The fix was they pushed the top of the metal dent back out so the sprayer would clip in. This will most likely compromise the metal. Not happy to pay full price for a dented appliance. When I buy something new I want to be perfect. I would of bought a scratch and dent from them if that is what I wanted. Not happy.

We had an order for all our appliances already placed with Home Depot. A week from our delivery date they informed us that it was postponed until “possibly July”. No real date. We need our items now so on a chance we were driving by Grand Appliance in Naperville and they had everything we needed and wanted in stock and ready for delivery in a week!! Very disappointed in the level of customer service. Placed an order in July for a kitchen remodel then was notified in September that the stove with options we desired is not available. Had to go elsewhere to get the appliances.

Purchase a freezer last month and encountered a sales rep that manipulates the sale to sell through damaged products. As a resident of Naperville for over 40-ears... I thought I was calling the Naperville store. Instead, the phone was transferred to the Downers Grove store where unknown to me I was talking to a sales representative that worked out of the Park Ridge store. That in itself is a problem.Never again was I able to reach or talk to this sales Rep Heidi, that collected my payment of almost $1,000 over the phone. As things have turned out to be. I suspect this musical-chair system is done on purpose. Once customer pays for the merchandise and sets a delivery date.. the rep become conveniently un-available to the buyer for any issues there after.The merchandise was delivered damaged. Not able to locate this rep down when discovering they sometimes work out of multiple locations... I send images of the damage to Tammi at the Naperville location to get customer service involved with this madness.2-weeks pass and no contact so I reach out via phone and email to Grand in Naperville. Tammi in Naperville ask me to reach-out to Heidis manger in Park Ridge. The manager in Park Ridge assures me that he will take care of my concern.2 weeks past and no response from Park Ridge manager... so I call customer service again. Its now been 5-weeks and customer service states that damaged claims must be submitted in 24-hours.Not only were the images was emailed to Tammi in Naperville Grand when not locating Heidi within a couple of days, but customer service was called immediately after delivery, I stated. The schedule a pickup on the 5th of June because of the damage. Customer service explains how the damages must be brought to the attention of the sales rep that took the sale within 24-hours... yes, the very one that plays this game of musical chairs and cannot be found.Beware of scams perpetrated by the unethical sales representatives at Grand Appliances... the company will back the sales rep, not the customer.I will update this posting as I look into filing in small claims court. After dealing with 3-different locations... my worst customer service experience ever.*** Im back... giving due credit to Tammi at the Naperville store and corporate Mary who upon first contact turned my problems into a satisfying solution. This is exactly how a reputable company is suppose to work when reaching out to the right person my worst experience flipped the script into a satisfying one.I WILL do business with Grand Appliance and TV again...
