I ordered an appliance online. The AD said there was minimal damage on the sides. No biggie. I get there and the sales person put the appliance in my car. But i notice there is much more damage than stated and the legs and brackets for the appliance are damaged. They said i can just screw them back on but the parts that fell off did not fit this appliances. So i asked if they were willing to take some more money off. The manager comes outside and asked me what the issue was. I told him and he flat out says no more discounts and that I could just return it and get a refund. So I returned it! I drove over an hour to get there. The service and honesty with this place is awful. The manager was grumpy unfriendly and unpersonalble. I guess they must not need business or money. They could have had a sale with a few dollars less. Instead they chose no sale at all. Too bad. I gave my business to another store. This company is not worth the hassle stress or discount.

We bought a LG refrigerator from here in 2019 and it said it had a “dent” and we bought it “as is” since that seemed to be the only defect. We were getting a discount price however it wasn’t a huge discount. The good thing is we bought a warranty on it for 3 years and we have had to call the repair technician a number of times. The last issue we have is it’s not working right now-fridge/freezer is not keeping things cold/frozen. Turns out the back of fridge was damaged. The repair tech said it looked like someone slammed into the back! How could anyone sell something like this? Imagine if we wouldn’t have bought the warranty?! … The fan didn’t work, needed a new compressor and now it needs a new board on back. We are currently waiting on the new part(board) to be shipped and for the repairman to come install it. This is very inconvenient to say the least! Our food went bad and we had to get a little fridge in the meantime while we wait to get this one fixed. Never again will I buy something from this place!!!!

I bought a set of washer and dryer at a nice price definitely better than other places although washer had some cosmetic damage it works just great, my sales person explained the original manufacture warranty and the difference between the master protection I had to get the protection plans just because the technology on the appliances.

First my only complaint…. Any kitchen designed by a “professional designer”. I was locked into replacing an exact measurement refrigerator to fit a cabinet enclosure and could only be counter depth to slide in with the placement of the kitchen island. I was limited to about 4 models that every retail store was ridiculously priced. As soon as I walked in here, Gus immediately showed me the 2 they had and amazingly over $1000 less than every other place I checked. (ABT, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Menards, Best Buy, Etc) from walking in the door to checking out was less than 10 minutes. Had a slight hiccup during delivery that was not their fault or mine and manager Javier made sure a second delivery appointment was soon and first thing. Overall a perfect experience. Just so you know I’m 50 years old, and have been through 6 houses and 5 remodels. I’ve bought all appliances from many different places. With one exception, this was the easiest transaction I’ve had. (Exception was a gas stove from TN that was a total insider connection)

I was not notified of the cancellation until I called them right before the store closed. I feel like it was just not a professional experience. And still waiting on a cancellation email.

This is the first time I have posted a 1 star review. Long story short, I financed a refrigerator over 2 months ago. We did not accept the delivery, because delivery persons were unable to get through our door. Not to mention their unprofessionalism. We immediately canceled the order & financing. 10 phone calls later to the manager at American Freight in Naperville, IL, there has been NO follow through. Thus, this fraudulent charge is showing on my credit reports as non-payment.

Ordered online a refrigerator that said new out of box, no damage. What was delivered was a scratched and dented refrigerator. The store manager agreed to refund some of the purchase price if I kept it, but that never happened. No money was ever refunded. The refrigerator had a broken ice maker that required service, too. Phone calls were ignored and no call backs regarding the refund. I know I could take further but it isn’t worth the time or effort. Do yourself a favor and just go to Lowe’s or Home Depot. I will always discourage people from going here.

I went here looking for the great service of Sears just to find out it is now another store. The service was bad here. The sales associates just stood around talking at the front counter. We never received a greeting or any assistance. Therefore, I left, but before I left I noticed quite a few appliances had dents in them. However, there were new appliances in mint condition, but the pricing was a bit high even with sales.

I went there to look for a refrigerator in the event mine isnt delivered by home depot soon. Thought I knew something about refrigerators ;couldnt be more wrong. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I don’t know where to begin. They have already taken up over an hour of my time tonight and provided absolutely no value. Our experience with this store started a couple years ago when we bought a fridge from them. It was a great deal and we paid for the delivery service. Scheduling the delivery was a complete headache. We were moving into a new house and didn’t know the closing date at time of purchase. They told us that was not a problem and we could change the date if we needed to. When we changes the date, we confirmed on multiple occasions with them of the new date. They still showed up on the first date scheduled and of course we had not closed on our house so no one was home. They called us to tell us that we missed our delivery date. They did not acknowledge that it was their fault. The next available date to reschedule install was 3 weeks later. We had to be without a fridge in our new house for weeks.. even though we bought the fridge months prior.Bring me to today, we gave them another chance. Tried to be an over the range microwave for $160. They sold it to us but while they were bringing the microwave to our car they noticed there were no mounting brackets. We waited 15 minutes while they were looking for the mounting brackets. They could not find them so we waited longer while they looked up the part. They said that we could purchase this mounting bracket set for $78. We stayed there for minutes longer while they kept searching for the brackets. They said they couldn’t find them and if we still wanted to microwave we had to pay for the brackets on our own. We told them we didn’t want to do that so then we stood there and returned the microwave back to them. It was like we went through an hour long exercise for no reason. Purchasing and then returning. Now we are home and vowed never to go back again.

While there does seem to be a lack of assistance, once you get someone to help they are great ! Allan was great working with me to purchase a washing machine. When I went back to pick up the merchandise, Allan and another gentleman were helpful in processing my delivery charge fee. I would go there again to purchase appliances.

We purchased a fridge/freezer combo when ours went out. We had to wait for a little over a week for delivery because of Presidents Day which I found frustrating. The icing on the back after going a week without a fridge we get a delivery range of 12:15 to 2:15. I rush home after my sons swim lessons to find a note “sorry we missed you”. It was 12:10 and I received no phone calls, and after reviewing the video footage they didn’t take the time to knock on the door or ring the door bell. He jumped out of the truck and stuck the note on the door and left.We tried calling every phone number we could find for Sears and all I heard was “No”. I am so frustrated I am about to go to the store and get my money back. I will gladly pay more for better service. FYI Sears Delivery Team when you give people a two hour window for your arrival give them a call when you are on your way especially if you are early.I think what I find most disappointing is that SEARS Appliances used to have fantastic values. They used to sell descent products at descent prices but did so with a smile and would go out of their way for customers. Now they are a discount house and sadly mediocre customer would be an upgrade. I will NEVER step foot in a SEARS again.If you do shop there beware of DELIVERY, it is a trail of excuses, and disappointment.

I went there twice shopping for kitchen appliances. The place has good price and lots of fridges in stock. Deceptive advertising, purchased a dishwasher online, the site said new out of box, no damage noted. When picking up the top molding was cracked and there was significant structural damage. The employees said to bad so sad, wouldnt take a penny off, said they were not empowered to do the right thing. And it takes 10 days to be refunded, only took em 30 seconds to do the debit, imagine that. Do not trust this store.Heading to home

Purchased a fridge there. I liked the 3 different employees I interacted with. They were friendly, helpful, and reasonably knowledgable. Prices were good. They need a better delivery service however. The guys we got were crooks.1. Couldnt schedule delivery until 5 days later - too long. 2. When they delivered they balked at the water connection. As it turned out I needed to add a little adapter valve. I bought it the next day for $5 and it took me all of FIVE minutes to install. Im sure they could have done it in 2 minutes. No one at the store made it clear I needed to check this carefully and they defined the delivery duties in a very impractical and unhelpful way. However, lame as that is, I suspect many delivery companies take the same stance. 3. The WORST and most TREACHEROUS thing they did is they left the new fridge in my garage!*& It only took my friend and I an hour and a half to get the fridge inside later - after realizing I needed to remove the handles, and the handle studs, and my front door. My old fridge went through the door fine. Do you think the delivery guys didnt know getting it through would be a problem? My wife who was home asked them to put it inside and the delivery guy said, oh your husband said to put it in the garage. Which was wrong. I said do whatever my wife says.Hire your own delivery service or rent a truck with a lift and a friend (fridge has to stay vertical).

I bought my items 5/23. Both items were broken and it has been almost a month and I still havent been able to use my washer or dryer. Its ridiculous!!! Ive called 4x about the warranty and they have yet to fix the address issue and phone number that was there mistake to begin with. The employees wrote down the wrong information. They keep telling me I dont have a warranty when I make the appointment. When I have the receipt and it saids it clear has day that I do. The wait on the phone is outrageous! Costumer service is useless!! The only good thing is there repair service who finally today 6/16 fixed my washer and then told me my dryer is broken. And I have to wait until July for the part to come! The wait on parts is ridiculous too!!!! I will never again use this place!! Theyre horrible!!

Purchased a stove and fridge from the outlet. Got home with my measurements and fridge was too big for the space. The manager easily refunded my transaction of the fridge quickly and without any issues. Manager Nick had great customer service and gets 5 stars for this!4 stars as the facility seemed a bit understaffed the Saturday I was there . I am also having the stove delivered and installed but cannot speak to this service as I am waiting to have it delivered in a few weeks.Overall, good experience and nice place to take a look when you are shopping around for appliances.

The prices at Sears Outlet can not be beat. However, they make up for it with their lack of customer service, patience, or ease of working with customers. They delayed our initial fridge delivery a week after purchase, after being very unclear about several points in the process. Now, only a few months after the purchase, the fridge is not staying cool, and they were more than willing to brush it off on simple problems before waiting another week to come out. Lucky for us its not our only fridge. Though we were considering a washer and dryer in the relative near future, its unlikely well be buying from them again.

Got what should have been an excellent fridge at an excellent, price. There is a long wait for delivery. When it was finally delivered it had broken pieces. They had to send out a technician to put in an order for parts. The technician was awesome! He even rebooked me to come out and fix it on the spot. However, the parts took forever to come. They sent me emails, demanding I call them about the parts. I call them within an hour of receiving an email and no one had any information for me, and no way to help me. They just keep telling me, my parts are processing. No idea on when that might change and no idea how to help me find out. No one went out of their way to show any concern for me as a customer. Then when I was explaining to the fourth person I was talking to in the day and explaining my frustration, she strongly reminded me that our call was being recorded. Is that a threat? I was not screaming, I was frustrated. Very disappointed with there being no customer service. Sears name is not what it once was.

Jacob was a knowledgeable and helpful sales person, but is now no longer there.Our fridge came with new severe 3 gouge damage down to the baremetal in an obvious spot on the top right sidewall, perhaps damaging the integrity of whatever tubes, cords, cables might be underneath. So far theyve offered us $150 to offset the $1600 price......but then Id still have a damaged unsightly fridge with possible future problems and only scrap value. Theyve offered another slightly dented unit to replace it but at 5 more depth, way too big for our tiny kitchen.Plus now I need to try to get resolution from both Sears and their delivery service, XPO Logistics. Its been almost three weeks. Surely theres a better compromise. In the meantime. Im ready to just send it back and use my backup fridge in the garage! Nice people but slow to resolve situations. Slightly dented bargains is one thing.......severely damaged scrap is NOT acceptable!

Sears Outlet in Naperville was a great buying experience, Vikki E. the manager was so knowledgable and friendly, she really helped me make a good decision. Alex was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this as the best appliance experience I have had in the last 20 years.

Just Bough my refrigerator and 3 weeks later it no longer cools spent over a thousand dollars on my refrigerator with the “GREAT” additional 3 year warranty I was suggested to buy. These technicians that come to my house are BY FAR the worst!! I complained I never wanted the first technican to ever come to my house again and to my luck. He was sent a second time. As a single mother, student and employee that I am I do not have the ability to just return this HUGE item myself. As a CSR suggested I do. When suggested to be sent a replacement they wanted to charge a delivery fee which at this point nearly 2 months without a refrigerator may of just been the easiest way out. Everyone gives you the run around when calling in to customer service which makes this experience just THAT much more horrible and now since it’s past 30 days of my purchase I don’t “qualify” for a replacement. NEVER AGAIN will I ever give my money to Sears Outlet or Sears in general. Is it too much to ask for a refrigerator that works after paying so much money for it ?

Purchased washer/dryer set in February. Had one repair done within 5 months of purchase. Next repair scheduled for January. I’ve been two week without washing clothes because the sears home repair service sent the wrong person for my repair. Called customer service and the service was terrible. The did not arrange to have a new person come out the same day. Told me there was nothing they could do when in fact it’s the fault of the customer service rep. So now I’m left with a broken washer and piles of laundry. This is not directed to the actual store but to the warranty repair service that I purchased for $800+. They suck!
