Has the best sandwich.. the Elliott, that cranberry cream cheese makes it! The flavored teas are amazing as well. I got to go at least 1/2 a week. Employees are amazing and know who I am and even informed me that they still had some of my tea left. love this place

While I love the coffee at Segue, it really isnt a quiet place to work or study (even in the back area). There is a lot of echo and while I love a happy staff, their loud chatter and laughter bounces around. I cant say they were that happy when I placed my order though. For sure Ill keep it my order and go as Im really happy Segue is in my neighborhood!

Had chai and some waffles there about a month ago and just woke up with that place on my mind. It was amazing! Great atmosphere, staff, and food. Will definitely continue going whenever in Minneapolis.

This is a cute little place right next to beautiful Elliot Park. This was my first time there and they have another room off to the side thats quieter and great to work in. The music was very loud when I walked in and staff was happily laughing and chatting with eachother. The person at the counter was helpful although seemed much less happy to be answering questions from a customer. Staff did turn the music down after a bit, which was helpful for those of us who were working. Overall I would totally recommend this place and imagine its quite popular.

Best White Chocolate Mocha Ive ever had.I was here meeting a family to sign them up for a summer camp and before we had even ordered anything an employee gave two of the kids that I was signing up for camp a free milkshake. That was so awesome!

The atmosphere here is relaxed and inviting. I frequently bring one of my clients here - he always orders their iced chai latte, and while I haven’t tried it myself, it certainly looks delicious!

Segue is part of my Saturday morning routine, with a dirty chai latte and Nordic Waffles. I recently stopped in during lunch time during the week on a soup day. The aggressive-sounding Warhammer sandwich will defeat your hunger with ease.It’s just a comfortable place to take a break, or set up a laptop.Also, Ninja is a big fan.

Cute coffee place with a great selection of coffee to choose from- also have some desserts. Seating in there was spread out, perfect for doing homework or meeting up with friends. Their quality used to be great but lately this place sucks. Underdone food, watery/milky lattes and really inconsistent pricing.

Nice decor friendly staff, I really love this spot. It can be a bit cold inside and the sun is shade sun but the ambiance and people really make a beautiful study place.

Food options are limited to like snacks and a few breakfast pre-made stuff. Very young feeling kind of place! I liked the layout. You enter through the only entrance, to your left there is like counter high top seating both near checkout and one along the glass walls facing out to the park/street right in front.On your right theres an artsy filled chalkboard on a brick wall. Theres 2 firm armchairs facing each other with a small coffee in between. Right behind them theres 2 long couches with a center table. Theres an open doorway here with like 4 tables, 2 small and 2 long for like laying stuff out or just eating. Only been here once but recommend for hw or serious talking cause the music lightens up the mood. Heck a first date might be a go here. Bathroom for customers. Parking on street

We were only in town for a week and ended up stopping here twice for the breakfast. My wife and I definitely enjoyed it. After having gotten a chai at another major chain store the day before, the one that we got here was significantly better. We both had breakfast and decided to come back the next day for another. I would highly suggest the Segue breakfast.

Best latte of my life!

I LOVE Segue! Their black coffee is delicious and full-bodied. Their espresso is also delightful. Normally, I just stick with a black coffee, but when I want to splurge I order an iced latte with two extra shots and Carmel sauce :) The staff are always kind and accommodating. Its not the most comfortable coffee atmosphere, but it is quieter than most places, which is nice.

Best chai Ive had in the Twin Cities! The space is beautiful with lots of room to sit, beautiful art, big windows. The staff are friendly and welcoming, we had a good conversation.

The coffee, food and assortment of drinks are all good. They have seasonal drinks similar to Starbucks, but with a more hometown feel. They make the best pistachio muffins (try one!) and amazing pumpkin spice lattes! With a friendly atmosphere that is more chill and less city life, it makes you feel at ease.

Highly recommend. Delicious hot coffee; iced lattes are heavenly. Excellent service. Nice seating and a pretty quiet place to sit. Often have student or online-ordering discounts!

Good coffee, pleasant baristas

Took awhile to get my coffee, about twenty minutes +, but if I was the only worker and other people ordered food and other stuff beforehand, I probably would have done the same thing as the sole person there. Im a little more patient than most people though; at least I think. Got the morning coffee and its good enough. Thanks!

I consider myself a coffee explorer, that is, I like to try out a new coffee shop every morning before work. So, I think Im fairly familiar with most of the coffee shops in the Minneapolis area. You can imagine how surprised I was when I stumbled upon this jewel not even a half hour ago.As soon as I opened the doors and walked up to the counter, the owner gave me her undivided attention and engaged in genuine, interesting conversation. Her cheery personality will brighten up your day. On top of that, the coffee itself was one of the best ones Ive had. And trust me, Ive had a lot. I ordered the large cappuccino (my go-to drink) and I honestly didnt put down the cup until I downed the last drop. The espresso in it had a velvety, creamy, almost nutty taste that lingered in your mouth in a good way. And the foam didnt do that annoying thing where it puckers up with holes and clumps to the side. It was the perfect cup to start my day.All in all, Segue coffee is now on my love list and I will definitely be back for more. Heck, I might even go tomorrow! Give this place a try. You wont regret it.

Good coffee& good music

This place is fantastic!!! The environment is so welcoming and the coffee is incredible!!!! I didnt think I could find a place that made my favorite drink better than Starbucks but the barista rocked it!! It was so delicious!! They also opened up Saturday evenings for a church plant which is super cool!! So great coffee, and great music and message! Pretty sweet!

The staff, atmosphere, and drink selection are great. I have a nice experience every time I go and the drinks always taste wonderful. They have one of the best grilled cheeses in the area by far!

Indeed a hidden gem. We had 5 dishes and they were all super tasty, fresh, and different. Really enjoyed the chickpea and beet burger, the thai peanut wrap that incorporated a spicy bean burger, and the beanie bowl.

Honestly some of the best beans you can find in Minneapolis. Their roaster, UP, is local and makes phenomenal light roasts. The staff is welcoming and the general crowd is very inviting. 9 out of 10 doctors would definitely recommend.

Food items are better variety than most coffee places in the area. I love the view to Elliot Park through large windows. The busy city setting makes that Park view a special part of enjoying a nice coffee and a break before heading on to the next things of the day.

I came in here for the fist time last week. Very impressed, I ordered an iced coffee. Noticed they make smoothies. I will return for one next time I am over this way.

Im a regular. They have great coffee and wonderful staff! You wont be disappointed if you stop here. They have multiple different roasts and excellent food products for a good price.

In an industry dominated by chains, its always interesting to see how well a small business does by comparison. In the Elliott Park neighborhood of Minneapolis there are two Segue Cafes, of which this was the original. Its a nice space with high ceilings and unique furniture (most of which isnt too distracting). Staff is friendly and effective, and while the single employee model means occasional lines, its not noticeable. Value is about what you would expect from any coffeehouse.

Really enjoyable. Had some peppermint tea and a breakfast sandwich. Service was good and played good music. Would love to go back when there is a band playing.

The best drinks, the best staff, the best atmosphere. I wish I could give it 10 stars. This place has the most friendly staff and customers. I gladly give my money to this local business when I am in need of some caffeine. *Theyll even let you bring your dog in (if youre ordering to go) and give them a treat!

Feels like a small town attempt at a coffee shop. You want to like it, but theres a lot of little details that are off. Also, closed on Sunday and only open until 4pm otherwise? Wow.Update: Now open until 7pm most days, so more relevant now. =)

A non-profit coffee shop! Charming barristas, good drinks. I went in last week and they had a Christmas tree up with mitten ornaments with gifts needed by local residents. I took a mitten labeled 36B bra, and will return it with the wrapped goods by Dec 16. Very comfortable seating, music not too loud, yummy breakfast sandwich.

Great local coffee shop. Very quaint inside, decorated with a hipster vibe.Employees were very friendly and accommodating. They seemed to know most of the customers by name.Ample seating inside and a variety of choices.There is not a ton to choose from to eat and the most hearty of your choices being a bagel and cream cheese.The drinks were perfectly made, if you are dining in you get real glass mugs and real silverware and plates if you are eating.Really great local place. I would come here a million times before going to a Starbucks or dunkin.Totally worth checking out #shoplocal

A hidden gem because Elliot Park isnt as trendy location-wise. They are great folks that provide a reliably good cup of coffee; I recommend the dark roast. Lattes are also very good. I dont really get food there but they always work to have some good selections. They also train local at risk kids to give them job skills and constantly are doing something great for local charities, shelters and community groups. ZERO pretense or hipster vibe; just good coffee for the neighborhood and those visiting NCU or Augustana.

The atmosphere is welcoming and laid back, like I like. The menu is simple and concice. The barista was friendly and informative. Now the food:The iced Americano I purchased was well made, the roast is on the lighter side and I believe they make their own caramel syrup.The sandwich I ordered (the grandstander) was a very flavor full sandwich. Ham, swiss, spinach on an asiago bun and then topped with honey mustard. Very satisfying.Im marking this place in my favorites!
