My most recent need was to get a new door and an opener installed. I am done putting in openers by myself. Good thing too. I love it!They walked me through the operation, programmed it for me. They replaced my springs a couple years ago, and they just came to do some adjustments and general maintenance stuff. The door runs great now! Both times the tech was straightforward and polite, and the prices are very fair. Im pretty sure that most, if not all, of the people with 1-star reviews are reviewing the wrong place by mistake.

Extremely happy with this company located in Lincoln, Nebraska. Excellent customer service, very prompt response...even came 2 days early despite being busy!! Fixed the problem immediately and pricing was good. Highly recommend!

Truly awful customer service. Waited for service man and he did not show up, called and rescheduled and they did not show up again. Called the manager who never called me back. 5 days later, they had called a totally separate company to come look at my garage door. Overhead door had already fixed it by then! They were reliable and came the same day I called. Reasonably priced too! Lesson learned, I will recommend overhead door from now on.

Excellent service and installation from start to finish!

I had a new garage door operating device installed. Everyone I talked to at Pioneer were great. The installer fixed some issues with the rails and rollers too. They were very easy to work with and even billed me later. The whole process, including the amount billed, was pain free!

Very friendly service. I walked in and was greeted promptly with great service. The lady was very knowledgeable about different products and answered all of my questions plus gave recommendations for solutions to possible problems I might have. I highly recommend this place to any homeowner.

In late 2019 my doors cables went weird and a section was extremely damaged I thought I was done I didn’t have any extra money laying around to replace it the fellow that came out I think his name was Austin but thank the world for him he got my door down fixed some stuff put a bar across and my door was up and going in no time they even billed me later pioneer has been great and expect a call for a new door 😃

Owner was incredibly short with me for no reason and very rude. They had to order a spring that apparently they dont keep around and it took two weeks to get it installed. I had to be proactive in contacting them and checking if they had received the spring in and to get an appt set up to have them install it. After looking into other companies I think they are also poorly priced. Will never do business with them again. The biggest thing was the incredibly rude OWNER. She was just grouchy and short when talking with her about pricing and when the spring would be ordered and in to install.

Had an issue with rain leaking in thru the window panes in the top panel. Mike and Jesse came out and removed all windows and recaulked with a better silicone caulk than what the factory had installed. They explained everything that was done and recommended caulking around door and siding. I was impressed with their work and friendliness!

Ron is disrespectful and condescending. When he had to repeat the color choices, he spoke as if he felt I was mentally challenged. Aaaaa-lllllll-mmmmond. I asked him to call me back after he was done driving and he never did. Needless to say, I went with a different company and will advise everyone I know to avoid Pioneer Overhead Door. When reading through the other comments, one can see their reputation is consistent with my experience. There are MANY other five star garage door companies in yelp. Go with them

Love doing business locally and this is one of the reasons why. I called to have a serviceperson out to my house as the garage door would not close. I cleaned off the electric eyes, etc.. but to no avail. The scheduler suggested a few self help options and offered if they did not work call back and they would come on out. Well the suggestions worked and we are good to go free of charge. I also did not have to take off work to meet a serviceperson. I truly appreciated their honesty. I have had them out before with broken springs and other issues and each time I was 100% satisfied.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT HORRIBLE SERVICE AND RUNAROUND!!Pioneer Overhead door is a delivery site for special order garage doors from Home Depot/Clopay. Purchase was made online through Home Depot/Clopay site on Sept 11th. Ticket stated that garage doors had estimated arrival on October 8th. Spoke with the president/director/treasurer of Pioneer, Dee Downing on Wednesday, Oct 5th about delivery. She stated that doors had arrived September 29th and we agreed to Monday, Oct 10th for delivery after 2pm. No one showed or called about the doors Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs from Pioneer. I called them Thursday twice without receiving a call back. My husband was able to call them a third time to talk to Dee, who was very rude and proceeded to hang up after she stated we maybe will deliver them Saturday. We then called Home Depot #3209 to see if there was more we could do. Megan with home depot was able to get a hold of Dee with Pioneer and a Clopay rep. Dee then stated to Megan that maybe the garage doors would be delivered in 1-2 weeks. Megan from Home Depot was amazing and able to get associates from her store #3209 to go and pick up our garage doors and delivered that day.Consumers need to be made aware of the poor business practice that stems all the way to president of the company, Dee Downing. She or her company did not make me, the customer, aware that our doors had even been delivered to their warehouse; nor did they even attempt to establish delivery service. I had to be the one to contact them for locate my doors and set up a delivery. When they failed to deliver on the set date, I had to follow up with them. Dee was extremely rude about returning my phone call, let alone wanting to get our doors delivered. I believe that if I had not been proactive, my doors would have sat in their warehouse for months. Home Depot/Clopay should consider using a different business for their orders.
