Great tea selection, great place to study or work remotely. Courteous staff.I can’t endorse their coffee - I get drip or pour over, black (no sugar or cream). Coffee here typically tastes burnt and/or over roasted. Cultiva has better coffee, if you legit want good plain black coffee. Coffee drinks here are just fine.Sadly they were out of quiche today, got a burrito. Was the size of the sour cream packet that came with it. Was legit like maybe half a scrambled egg, mostly just a tortilla. I would need 3+ of these to be full and I eat small breakfasts. Felt robbed. Cannot recommend. #dobetter

Its popular with locals to hang out at, the environment is usually pretty nice, the staff is friendly, and the coffee itself is pretty good. I just dont get my coffee beans here anymore though because Im able to go to a place that roasts their beans in house, and I can get them roasted same day so I believe it beats out the quality and freshness in that sense. Otherwise though theyve got tasty mochas.

The customer service is hit or miss. Please aim to have positive interactions with all customers. Staff is very impersonal at this location.

The Mill, for me, is one of several destination places in Lincoln. We moved to this area roughly eight years ago and try to stop by whenever we are close. Today, we bought beans to go and drinks for staying. They have good COVID-19 safety precautions in place. There are several different seating areas - a covered al fresco area, a large indoor seating area that includes the usual coffee kitsch plus their beans. There is also a third small brick lined area for those close encounters that are part of a coffee shop experience.They feature an extensive array of pastries and baked goods.This place is a wonderful reminder that baristas are heavenly godesses sent to let us have that spiritual coffee moment.

MY FAVORITE COFFEE SHOP EVER !!! as a Lincoln local, this place is my favorite to meet up with others and bring friends to! Everything they make is exceptional !! Especially in the summer, I recommend the granita! I just tried the sparkling chai yesterday and was blown away at how tasty it was! The mill always has treats like bagels and scones and cookies around! As well as has a variety of non-coffee beverages! Each location has plenty of seating for studying and chit chat! There is also outdoor seating ! Always the cutest and each location a bit different looking!

Coffee is always good.we use heartland blend for espresso at home. I usually get plain coffee, latte unflavored or a Milano. Always consistent, classic urban coffeehouse aatmosphere.

I read the reviews and hessitated but at the recommendation of my daughter in law I tried this place. The guy with the bad review, must have either had a bad day, or is just a negitive person. I visited here just after opening on a friday morning. The two staff members were awesome, friendly, and helpful. I asked for something they did not have, but who does (cuban coffee). The mocha and pastry were spot on. Great atmosphere! Love it.

Good coffee and great atmosphere but wifi can be iffy if you can connect and often busy with little social distancing inside especially when its chill outaide.

The only reason why I’m giving this place 2 stars is because the food and drinks are decent. The customer service is complete trash. Every single time I’ve come here the customer service has been awful! I think at this point I’ve dealt with every barista in this place thinking there has to be at least one with good customer service skills but none of them have good customer service skills. I really wanted to give this place a chance but I’m done.

I purchased 2 scones on friday 1 cranberry orange 1 asiago and herb. I have never purchased pastrys from the mill and i wont again the flavors were disapointing . only plus side the staff were delightful. First & last visit.👎

The service was okay, the chai was good, the food was okay. There is no structure to where people can line up and the displays make it very cramped. The seating outside doesnt seem to be set up or cleaned on any kind of schedule. Ambiance and atmosphere is lovely though.

Staff are always friendly! Ive never had a bad drink here. I was also impressed with the staffs diligence with wearing masks and cleaning the tables thoroughly. Most places dont clean nearly that well after patrons leave.

Different from most coffee shops in that they have a few large shelves full of various coffees that you choose from, then bring the jar of coffee up to the counter for them to grind and make your drink with, at least for manual brew. Overall the coffee is decent, and their to go cups are pretty neat to boot.

The Mill (near Union College) is an excellent coffee shop. Great atmosphere (exposed brick and beams, old floor -- almost like an old dry goods store meets a cafe), good coffee and tea, an excellent latte, and quite a few food options. You can also buy coffee beans there, which adds to the ambiance.

Friendly service. Great coffee. Someone spraying down our table as we walked out to make it safe and ready for the next occupants.

Great vibe, coffee, goodies and staff!

Their service is excellent, and they have a massive selection of artisan coffee beans and teas from around the world. Theyll sell them to you by weight for a steal and even grind the beans if you prefer pre-ground coffee. Its a nice atmosphere for catching up with friends or editing your last photoshoot.

You can get a to stay cup and its great because you can drink as much coffee as you can while you are there!!! 3 choices, 1 regular, 1 flavored and 1 decaf.Also their Muffins are pretty good too!

All The Mill locations have proven by far to be my favorite coffee shops in Lincoln. Great place to sit and work if you just like straight drip coffee. Its always good and a mug to stay is only about $1.70 with one free and then cheap ($0.70 I think) refills. They always have different blends and flavors out and Ive never hit a dud brew.

The staff are helpful, and friendly. The prices are good. Easily the best coffee in Lincoln. Not as conveniently located as a Scooters, or a Starbucks - but definitely the best coffee in Lincoln.

Excellent coffee! We got an iced almond milk vanilla latte, and it was so fabulous and rich tasting. Loved this place!

Very relaxed environment. Has three separate rooms. Usually at least one of the rooms is quieter than the others if youre looking for a study spot. Great place to meet up and have coffee with a friend or sit and read a book.Gets pretty busy during rush hours (morning, lunch and early evening), but theres not much of a wait to get drinks. Love the Granita with some shots of lavender!

I was a regular here over the summer. Great place to work, get an expresso (ask for sparkling water with it, game changer), and just chill. Cheaper than Starbucks and just a more comfortable atmosphere.

I asked for 2 large hot chocolates, extra hot. They were barely warm. Had to microwave them at home. I very rarely give a bad review, anywhere. Wont go back.

I tend to stick to coffee, black when Im there. A bit overpriced at 1.75 for a stay mug in my opinion. Coffee isnt the best but the chocolate hazelnut is fairly good. Wish they would keep a good stock of the vegan/gluten free muffins in more. I stopped getting other drinks as they always ended up burnt or cold. Good atmosphere. Great for studying.

The Mill location in College View is everything that a just-off-campus coffee shop is supposed to be. It has a pleasant (albeit slightly cramped) dining space, the coffees, pastries and the rest of the menu is priced fairly and the staff is knowledgeable and quick. This is a great stop if you need to kill 10 to 15 minutes with some good coffee and a good snack, or if you want to sit for a while in order to go over some homework, business work, or plan a personal project. Its in a charming old building that really puts the finishing touch on this campus coffeehouse.

Great selection. Great staff..but... When your getting premium prices for your coffees.. To act like your suspose to be tipped on top of it.. And then put it on your computer to add 10 to 30 % tip. Well to me... Its just rude... It makes customers feel unappreciated an uncomfortable.

I love the atmosphere of this place, but, alas, Im not a coffee drinker...and they have few options for you if youre not. They only have a cooler with bottled drinks available, and they are expensive, and the cooler isnt very cold. If you like coffee and a cozy atmosphere this place is great - Im assuming...

This mill location will have you questioning whether it was the first in town. It wasnt, but it pours on the nostalgia anyway. I go for the loose leaf tea collection - good prices. They also make a great chai latte.

The Mill is not for people who enjoy good coffee. Its more of an in and out quick fix. Go to theBAY coffee bar on Y street if you want good coffee/espresso and to have a nice chat with the baristas.If you want a fruity and sweet drink, go to the mill, they have it.Back room is for studying, front and middle area for talking. Remember this please.

I order blackberry iced toddy with milk year round but it’s best in the summer. I love this location because there three different rooms for conversation or studying and little shops surrounding it!
