Thank you Phinway cafe for keeping us fueled on a busy Friday and the many other days we’ve stopped in! We love this little place and we love even more that it is so close to us! Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Very clean and warm atmosphere!

The birthday girl wanted boba so we googled and this was the closest place 😊 we arrived this morning and ordered 5 different drinks. The lady behind the counter was extremely helpful, even let us try some of the jelly boba. I asked her what her favorite drink was and she said Thai milk tea so thats what I ordered but asked for light ice and less sugar (you can also order no sugar which I may try next time). Hubby ordered the brown sugar milk tea, our children ordered the strawberry smoothie with boba, peach tea with jelly boba and mango tea with boba. The kids loved watching her mix our drinks one by one! All of the drinks were fantastic! My favorites were the Thai milk tea w/ tapioca boba and the strawberry smoothie! The brown sugar milk tea was very good as well but too sweet for my liking, Id order it with less sugar personally. The other two fruit teas were good as well and the girls really liked them! We will definitely go back!

My first time enjoying a bahn mi sandwich (I had the chicken teriyaki) and a brown sugar milk tea. Both were AMAZING! I will definitely be back. They were very friendly, fast service, and even took the time to write a nice note on my paper wrapper. ❤️

Cute restaurant with a great setup/atmosphere. House and chicken teriyaki banh mi sandwiches are both yummy with fresh French bread. Lychee tea boba and red berries mix tea boba were good too; ice was a little too much. I felt bad for the owner because another customer came in and refused to use their plastic cup stating he was trying to save the world from more trash. He bought his own coffee mug that was much bigger size than the restaurant’s serving size and insisted they use it. I’m all for saving the world from more waste, however it is COVID pandemic time and measures need to be taken to keep us COVID safe.

The staff was awesome! Very accommodating and in no way did they seem burdened by going out if their way to accommodate my wife. I would definitely go here again. Its also very clean and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

HOLY MOLY. Greatest staff ever! I am allergic to just about everything and they were so patient and accommodating. They checked ingredient lists and never once made me feel like a burden.Im not from here, but this will be a guaranteed stop any time Im in Lincoln!

Best Fruit Tea I ever had in my life. I am truly surprised by the real taste of my sunkiss tea. Will have to come regularly, highly recommended.

I popped by this afternoon to quench my thirst and I was not disappointed! Theres not a huge range of offerings like youd find at a bubble tea chain but what I got and what I saw others walking away with was really lovely for the price. Super roomy inside, very easy to keep a safe distance from other people doing pickups, and the whole place is incredibly clean. Tons of parking too!

UPDATED: Weve been here few more times after the initial review. The flavor is consistently great and beats other milk teas! We are definitely thrilled that the manager took time to patiently explain to us how they normally make milk teas and how theirs are different than others in this area. Im sure that the manager did not know we were there so my guess is that theyre explaining it to every customer. We really appreciate the attitude and the flavors are still one of the best around here! Absolutely love to bring more friends over!!Weve been here several time. The flavor is great and tops other milk teas in this area. However, the service is very inconsistent even though enough tips were given. When we ordered no ice milk tea, sometimes we only get half a cup while other times we get a full cup. No ice at other places are always a full cup (Kung Fu Tea, Tea Vibe, etc.).I would hope manager to train the staffs to be consistent to maintain their advantage over other places.

This place never disappoints! We always get the Brown Sugar Milk Tea and Chicken Banh Mi. I dream about these two things often. The store is super cute and clean. The employees are always wonderful. I would highly recommend!

So yummy! We loved all three of the Bahn mi, and our coffee drinks were delish! Coconut coffee and Ube Latte for the win! Just the right amount of sweetness. The green tea is nice and mild and refreshing.

Their drink are delicious and I’m excited to go back and try the sandwiches! :) The atmosphere of the cafe is also very calming with cute decorations. All the staff members are super awesome people too!

Another great place for a Boba tea and a banh mi sandwich. If you like bandwich Cafe on the Northside of town you will like this place on the Southside.

Ordered the house special Banh Mi. FANTASTIC. Fresh bread, great ingredients, you can taste the love in the sandwaich. If youre a fan of Banh Mi, this is a must try for you. If youre not familiar with Banh Mi, get in here and try it... house butter mayo, black pepper, pickled carrots or daikon, cilantro, cucumber and jalapeno, steamed pork roll and Vietnamese jambon.

AMAZING! I tried Phinway for the first time today! The atmosphere and people were warm and welcoming, and it smelled so good as I walked in. After listening to them tell me about all the wonderful menu items, I followed their suggestion and tried the brown sugar milk tea, the tropical tea and the teriyaki chicken bahn mi.... it did not dissapoint! The teas were both perfectly balanced with the right ratio of tea/milk/brown sugar and the organic tropical juices with a delicious house tea... OMG. The Bahn mi was crisp and tangy with the perfect spice and sweet notes to make your mouth water in anticipationfor the next bite. The bread was deliciously warm and and the teriyaki chicken on point. I cant wait to go back and try more from their menu!!

Great Vietnamese cafe with simple and straightforward menu. The coffee with condensed milk is to die for, and is served with a sidecar of strong jasmine tea. Highly recommended!

I thought the drinks was very good, not too sweet, you could taste the tea flavor afterward. I liked the real fruit ingredients they put in the drinks so refreshing. The Vietnamese iced coffee was so authentic with a rich flavor. I liked their baguettes, kind of different but still maintains original Vietnamese banh mi with fresh ingredients. I like the fact that they don’t use the Liver Pate to spread each half of baguette 🤮 instead of simple mayo. Beside that friendly owner and staff with awesome service.

Great, fresh food! The sandwiches are expertly crafted, well balanced, and full of bold flavors. I had the House Special Banh Mi, and it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The drinks are great, especially the coffee. I could not recommend this place enough! You must try it!And the people there are wonderful! So generous, caring, and friendly!

I love Phinway! My go to order is the Tropical Fruit Tea and the Teriyaki Bohn Mi. I would highly recommend! The people are also super sweet, they usually give my toddler a treat and the only time it has taken a little longer than normal to take my order they gave us a discount. Food and service are both 10/10!

This place is fantastic! Clean and organized. We love Bahn mi and just saw that this cafe was in our area and wanted to take my picky teenager out for lunch. The people that work there are so courteous and thoroughly explained all the options they offer. Went with their recommendations and loved it all! I got the Chicken Teriyaki with Avocado a mix of 2 of their options. So good! Had the Brown Sugar Boba milk tea and Im sad they dont have a bigger cup because it was delicious! Will be back for sure. My teenager even said that was the best bahn mi theyve had.

The people that work here are consistently kind and talkative. One of the men that works there even made my boba drink after I came in past closing without realizing it. Very nice of him to do! I especially recommend their brown sugar boba drink. It’s always good!

I had the Avocado Baguette and a Mango Smoothie made with almond milk. I love simple taste of simple foods and the sandwich and smoothie fit into this category. The Phinway Cafe is awesome! The ingredients are all very fresh and really flavourful, the staff are friendly, prices are fair, and service is really good, and the interior is nicely decorated and clean. The owner remembered us on only our second visit, talked with us about the food and life, and even made us a dessert to try!Easily the best Banh Mi and Vietnamese coffee Ive had in Lincoln. We will definitely be back many more times 🙂

Ive been a weekly regular here ever since they opened up. Their boba and sandwiches are absolutely delicious! The staff is always inviting and definitely care about the food and drinks they make. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a quick pick me up!

Such a cute little coffee shop! Im shocked Ive never been to this little gem, but glad I tried Phinway Cafe today.I had a haircut appointment nearby and decided to get a coconut coffee and also a banh mi sandwich for my rumbling tummy. Both the coffee and banh mi were really tasty! Gave my taste bud a different experience. I have always been very biased and thought that Starbucks was the only spot that could make coffee to my liking, but this place definitely knows how to make a mean strong coffee! I will definitely be coming back...would prefer to buy from a small business than a massive corporation if I can help it :)

This place is really cool. Having been to Vietnam, its very authentic while also being beautifully decorated and accepting all the latest payment methods. The owners were welcoming, letting me open a tab and hang out there all afternoon, while I caught up with a friend. They have boba tea, shakes, coffee, teas, and bánh mì (genuine Vietnamese subs).

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff are incredibly thoughtful and kind. Not only is the customer service excellent, but the food and drinks are authentic. I am a vegetarian, and the staff have always gone above and beyond for me to ensure that I receive quality Bánh Mi. I was also given a free Lychee tea with my last purchase, and as always it had quality and flavor. Fresh and healthy are my go to when purchasing food and Phinway has got this down! If you travel often and/or know and value authenticity, then this is the place to go. Bon Appétit!

Small Vietnamese coffee/boba joint. I am just happy that we didnt have to travel all the way up to North Lincoln for boba. I have tried their pork belly banh mi at their soft opening and it was decent. However, we recently tried their house special and its on point. I like their limited items on their menu. I just hope that they will continue with their good flavors and small menu. Its too bad that their location is all the way in the back so its hard to see from the main street. Friendly staffs and fast. I was not used to the baguette they used for the banh mi, but I welcomed the change. Their banh mi is on a smaller size compare to what we used to.
