My truck started making a grinding sound in the rear axle area, so I called around to get an appointment to check it out. I spoke with Sean at Lincoln Auto Repair on Monday and he was able schedule me for diagnosis on Wednesday morning, despite having a full service appointment schedule.He called me on Wednesday mid-day to go over the issues, options, pricing and timeframe. I gave him the go-ahead for the needed repairs and just picked my truck up Thursday afternoon as promised.Great experience!

Had my AC repaired by them. They had a great price, they agreed to install my own parts (but it turned out the parts I purchased werent needed), and the AC works well now, so overall the experience was very good.

I was traveling from Montana to Florida alone with my sons kitten, Negan. My car broke down & I was worried because I didnt know anyone in the area. I started making calls. Lincoln Auto was not my first call but it turned out to be the best one I couldve made. They helped me by giving me a number for a tow company, Midwest Towing & Recovery. Once I arrived the guys at Lincoln Auto Repair allowed me to sit in the shade with my kitten until the car was repaired. I have to say these guys are AWESOME! They were very busy & I didnt have an appointment. Instead of giving me an excuse like others I called they fit me in. Im pretty sure someone missed out on a lunch/break to help me.I didnt get out of there without a bill but I was treated fairly & pretty sure they cut me a break. They found the problem, got the parts delivered & got me back on the road for the last 1,000 miles of an over 2,000 mile trip. My husband, kids, friends, fur babies & myself thank you for your kindness & excellent work. I made it home without anymore problems. I also thank you for bringing to my attention what likely caused the problem & making me aware it should be taken care of soon.

I had a horrible experience a couple years ago. I brought my car in because my low coolant sensor was always on. Instead of diagnosing the issue I was told how I needed to get these other repairs as it was critical. I wasnt given much explanation if any of the repairs and heard no word of my initial problem. Picked up my car and was met with a huge bill and when asking about the coolant problem they insisted it was just the sensor that needed replacing. I drove off the lot and large amounts of smoke started coming from my engine bay. They finally fixed the issue and all was good. Only 2 weeks later my engine started making a ticking sound. I brought it in and they assured me I had metal fragments all throughout my vehicle and it would stop working soon. They quoted me 4-4.5k to replace the engine. I then took it to auto works where they dropped the oil pan and found no signs of metal fragments but went into detail about what was wrong with my engine and that they could rebuild it for only 2k. Long story short I felt this place was untrustworthy, had unprofessional diagnostics, and caused me tons of headaches with not fixing what I initially wanted fixed. They even had a sign saying rate 5 stars on Google for $10 off the service which is the cherry on top.

I was taking my son to a barbers appointment. When I turned in to the barber shop lot at 48th and Calvert, my car started smoking so bad I thought it was on fire. I got my son into the Barber Shop and Warren, the Barber and another gentleman there both recommended LAR. They said to just call over. So I did, explained the problem to Sean and asked if would come take a look. He basically dropped everything and came to diagnose the issue. He looked and said it was safe to drive so when the haircut was over we headed catty-corner across the street. They got my car in, fixed it at a great and fair price. Fast, friendly, competent service. Im a girl and dont know jack about cars. Sean still treated me with respect and explained everything. We live clear across town to the north. Been taking my car to Sean for a couple years now and I am always treated so well. They always get me in, always get my repairs and needs taken care of quickly and he updates me on when he gets the car apart, what the costs will be, and anything else he sees. He also sends me a text a couple days later to make sure it’s still running to my liking. Fair in price, too and doesn’t push unnecessary little sales. Best repair shop in Lincoln! Highly recommend!

My truck developed a mystery no-start problem the day before a long scheduled hunting trip with my sons. I showed up unannounced on a Friday afternoon - to a fairly busy shop - asking for help chasing an electrical gremlin on a nearly 25 year old pickup... a mechanics nightmare. The guys there not only helped me out but were polite, professional and understanding throughout. They spoke in terms a layman could understand and couldnt have been more helpful trying to get me back on the road quickly. We struck out hunting, but made a lot of great memories. Thanks again.

I have been taking my car here for the last year or so and I’ve been very grateful for my experience. They do good, honest work. Sean is always very helpful and takes time to explain what’s going on. I took my truck in because of an intake manifold leak They also replaced both CV axles and rear brake disc rotors and rear brake pads. I had another problem with the way the truck was idling that I asked them to address and they never did address that issue which I wasnt very happy about. That was 6 months ago. Yesterday I took my truck to another mechanic shop because I wasnt that impressed with Lincoln Auto Repair to have my front brakes done and was informed that my back brakes that were supposedly done by Lincoln Auto Repair 6 months ago needed replaced and that one of my CV axles also replaced 6 months ago was shot. Will I ever go there again? NEVER. Will I recommend them to anyone? Not even my worst enemy!!

My car needed several services and I saved a lot of money by using Lincoln Auto Repair instead of the dealer. I felt like I got personalized treatment. Walked in the shop and the gentleman just stared at me when I said how are you doing? and he just automatically just said what are we needing? And I was like Im looking for an oil change and he said when can you be there and I said Ill be there in 10 minutes and the gentleman was super short with me and said I got other cars ahead of you and I was like okay thank you Ill just go to a different shop.The other thing I wasnt really excited about is the gentleman was being really short I dont know if hes the manager or the owner but better customer service will be best for this shop. so if you like fast pace and short answers this is the place for you but if you looking for a friendly and comfortable shop I would recommend to look somewhere else

First off I will say I generally do car repairs on my own. If I take it to a shop I always go to non-chain shops.First time I took it to Lincoln Auto Repair. I gave them a specific list of things to DIAGNOSE. They did just that and they did a heck of a job. Shaun called me several times keeping me updated on the progress.He gave me the prices for all of the fixes. I ended up giving them the go ahead on some fixes due to good prices. They seem to be very honest and genuine without trying to sell me too many extra things.Edit: Lincoln Auto Repair went above and beyond. A part did not come in from Ford on time and I needed my truck for the weekend. They did a intuitive temporary fix that made a big difference. Just the fact that they thought about doing that rather than waiting for the correct part means a lot about this shop. I have found my permanent automotive shop.

I had a wonderful experience with Mark and his shop. I had taken my car to TO HAAS to have them let me know if I had anything that needed to be repaired and to have them fix it. They told me nothing needed repairs until I came in and they told me my intermediate exhaust pipe was cracked, but they had not repaired it even though I had scheduled this appointment for that purpose. After this I decided to go elsewhere. I found Lincoln Auto Repair on Google, and gave them a call. From the moment I made contact they were professional and I felt that they had my best interest in mind. They found some other repairs that needed to be made and even asked me to come back to the shop so they could show me where the issues were. They made sure they had me taken care of and well served the way any business should. I will definitely be back!

They were absolutely amazing. Diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed everything in a very timely manner. Even got a text message from the Mark making sure everything was going well with the repairs two days after they worked on it. I will definitely be coming back and will recommend them to everyone!

In my first experience dealing with Shawn, I was incredibly happy with them. My car had a sudden issue on Wednesday night, I took it in at 1pm on Thursday and they managed to have it diagnosed Thursday night despite being quite busy (judging by the number of cars in the lot). They ordered the part they needed overnight and my car was done by 9am on Friday and I didnt have to miss any work. They were very friendly and very quick. I think I found my new mechanic.

I took my jeep here quite some time ago to get my A/C fixed. I tried a different place that charged me for a new part but actually just stuck a tootsie roll wrapper into the relay to make it run constantly....any way I took my jeep then to Lincoln Auto Repair and spoke to Mark who seemed confident he knew exactly the problem. Highly recommend for any of your vehicle needs. After my experience with Lincoln Auto Care Im definitely referring them to any family or friends with vehicle trouble. The workers there couldve easily talked me in to spending thousands to fix my old Cadillac, but instead they were extremely honest and said it wasnt worth it for me to pour the money into my car and that I would be best off to sell or salvage it. And I did end up salvaging it and the guys at Lincoln Auto Care were nice enough to let me keep my vehicle in their parking lot for a couple days while I got everything figure out. I honestly cant thank these guys enough!

Battery dead, theyre replacing it. Belt under car frayed and broken. They had to snap the top off the battery holder, it was so rusted. And my right turn blinker bulb is going bad so that needs replaced. All done quickly, and cheap considering how bad the car I was driving. Very highly recommended. Thank you.

I was here just a year ago now, under its previous name but same owner. I had him mount a new set of tires before I took a trip back to Virginia to visit family. It was a Saturday morning and after I got my haircut across the street, I went over to pick my truck up. Well, he was vehement that my brakes needed replaced immediately! Hed be happy to do it for around $500. I found this hard to believe because I had had Melichars (who had serviced it for years) look everything over quite well just a month before, replacing the shocks and leaking trans pan gasket. I thanked him, paid my bill and left. Now, a year later, and with 2 3000 mile trips under the belt, brakes are still just fine. And I had to have all 4 tires balanced when I got to Virginia as none were done correctly. Others may have had positive experiences, but this is what happened when I went there.

Horrible service and very arrogant individual at the front counter, I simply asked the heavier gentleman what they specialized in? and he laughed and stated automotive repair and shook his head.... Thats fantastic and all but when when youre speaking to a dealer who could bring you good steady business, probably not the right answer. The right answer would be either; Domestic, import, diesels, lift kits, performance add ons or any combination would have been fine rather then a sarcastic laugh. I would discourage anyone asking about them to do business with them.Update: of course you wouldnt see me in your records I walked out after that experience and have no future intentions of dealing with your shop.

Imagine my surprise when they copied my 5 star review as a testimonial with my full name on it without my prior knowledge or consent from Google Review onto their Website. Unbelievable. Yes they did my work fine but after pulling that its questionable if I will be back.A great place to get your car fixed. They explained everything I needed to know to make a good decision, pricing estimate was right on target and they got the job done quickly. I brought my car over here several times and Mark looked at it for me. He was very helpful. He showed that he had my best interest and that he was not just trying to make a quick buck. When I finally brought my car over for a tranny leak he got it fixed. Well his entire team I should say got it fixed. In approximately eight hours afterwards. The price was reasonable and Id say altogether great customer service. I would recommend anyone to come here and get the car checked and worked on.

I was tired of paying extra for a guy in a clean, snappy, white, synthetic polo to greet me and tell me it was going to cost $80 just to find out what might be wrong with my aging Prius. I happened upon Lincoln Auto Repair when I needed to rent a U-Haul and got the sense these guys were serious about fixing cars properly, explaining what the issues were with some depth and not treating me like I was completely clueless about my automobile. I was correct. When it was finally time to have some major work done on my brakes (not an uncomplicated procedure with a Prius) they stepped up, figured it out and explained, in detail, what was going I and how they were going to fix it. There repairs came in more affordable than expected and they got it back to me in good time. I recommend Lincoln Auto Repair!

Charged us an hour labor to diagnose a bad automatic door lock. We took two different cars to them and had calls on both about extra work that wasnt needed. Asked for the basic oil change but upgraded without asking. The person in charge was very defensive and argumentative.

I went in as a walkin and asked for an estimate on a job that needed to be done to my vehicle. My car was examined and upon return the sales rep had a list of unnecessary up sales he was trying to get me to consent to. When I denied he told me there was a charge for the estimate of about $23. When I refuted that, the best he said he could do was take the amount off the total if I decided to do the work with them. I felt it to be very shady, their way of doing business. If you want to charge for an estimate, thats your poragative, but the customer should be made aware of that be before handing the keys over, not at the end when you have their car held hostage. I am never going back and would not recommend this business to anyone.
