Fixed an old yamaha and roland synth from the eighties for me. What a gem of a place. They are authorized by major companies to provide repairs even though these did not fall under warranty. They identified issues and clearly explained repairs and cost. In this case repairing a key, replacing a battery (also reloaded factory sounds for me!) and a tact switch on a sticky button. It was all comfortable and easy. Alex cares about quality and they know their stuff. It is worth it to keep this music gear in tip top shape, 5 stars certainly.

I paid $150 for Alex to fix the broken foot pedal that controls the volume on my Hammond Organ in November 2016. I did this because I wanted to sell the organ, as I do not play. I did not check the work performed, but Alex told me that the pedal was fixed, so I gladly paid for the repair, in addition to a cleaning and overall check. He assured me that the organ was playing fine and in good condition. In the middle of May I had an interested party come to play the organ, but the volume was very loud, and the player of the organ was unable to adjust the volume because the foot pedal was broken, same as before Alex repaired it.I contacted Alex expecting him to come back and warranty his work and repair the pedal. Instead, he told me that he would have to charge me another $150 for a service call, and inspect the pedal, to see what was needed to repair it. I explained that I already paid for the repair, but he declined to warranty his work, claiming that I must have broken it since he repaired it. I explained that the organ was untouched since his repair visit, until the time someone wanted to play it to see how well it played and the sound. He was condescending and disrespectful to me, trying to convince me that the organ was old and that I should not expect it to perform like it was new. I just wanted my foot pedal to work, which is what I already paid for.Since I was unwilling to pay another $150 for a service call, just to find out how much he would charge to repair again the foot pedal, Alex began suggesting to me that I donate the organ in its present condition without a working foot pedal. I became impatient with his attitude and unwillingness to back up his work, and finally hung up on him while he was explaining why he could not come back without being paid for the service call again.I would never deal with this company or Alex, nor would I recommend his services to anyone else. I am a business man and have always guaranteed my work for the past 40 years. It seems that Alex does not want to back up his work, for unknown reasons. He did not care to keep me as a customer or certainly not want any referrals from me.Denis MurdockLas Vegas, NV

FAIL, FAIL, FAIL!!! 911 Keys is the worst business Ive ever dealt with. Alex Davis, the owner/operator of 911 Keys is a scam artist. He had my equipment for four months, failed to properly repair my amp and did nothing to try and fix my sampler. He gouged me on parts, never returned my calls, insisted I pay the full balance up front before he would even order parts, and refused to refund my money when his repair completely failed. Furthermore, he got belligerent with me when I would ask questions about why does it cost so much, why is it taking so long, why wouldnt he ever return my calls. I also found out that his business licenses are all suspended and/or revoked.I tried to resolve this through the BBB but Alex lies about the facts and distorts the truth so I will be forced to take him to court where I can present the facts, which I have all the documentation for. Here are the facts:1. My sampler is in the same exact broken condition that I brought it to him and he kept my entire $75.00 deposit and refuses to refund any of it. The deposit was supposed to be applied to the repair.2. He charged me $175.00 for the cheap speaker he installed in my amp and I later found out that it only costs $22.09. This calculates to a 692% markup. The speaker lasted less than two hours of total operation time before completely failing.3. He refused to even order the cheap, $22.09 speaker until I paid him the ENTIRE remaining balance of the repair, even though he had my amp and a $75.00 deposit in his possession.4. Once I paid him the remaining balance, It took another six weeks before the speaker arrived and he installed it. After his speaker failed I did some investigating that revealed all of this and finally realized how badly he was ripping me off. I vowed that he would never touch any of my equipment ever again so I had someone else help me with the repair. I ordered a GOOD speaker myself and it was on my doorstep two days later. The amp works fine now and cost me far less than what Alex Davis and 911 Keys charged me for their failed repair.5. During the four months he had my equipment I called him 23 times. He returned my call only one time. I have phone records proving this. He also lied to the BBB about this by saying that I was hard to get in contact with and that he had tried to call me on numerous occasions. Ill present my phone records in court and he can perjure himself once again and well let the judge decide who is telling the truth and who is lying.NEVER, NEVER, NEVER do business with Alex Davis and 911 Keys.
