AMD guitar works is amazing! Alan and Jack are just great people. Alan knows his business very well, he’s on another level. I had AMD install some pickups in one of my guitars and a new nut in another and the work is just beyond professional. His setups are incredible, my guitars play and sound great. I’d give AMD 6 stars but its not an option. Thank you AMD, you guys rock! I’m very pleased with the service I received.

Was alright. Was told my headstock couldnt be fixed because the type of break it was. So I went home with my tail tucked between my legs. Then I went and bought some glue and fixed it! Stained the neck also.Thank you Alan for inspiring me to do it on my own. It came out great!

Alan is very knowledgable and friendly and is the best person to go to for guitar set ups. He fixed up my husband’s problematic Jaguar and now it plays way better than before. It’s worth the wait!

Alans the bomb, expert at his craft. He knows guitars and can recommended pushing your axe as far as it can reasonably go. You might be waiting on his turnaround time, but if you can get in and he can get to your instrument, its well worth it. (!)

Best guitar tech Ive ever had. I had some serious technical issues setting up a midi guitar system I needed for my studio and Allen gave me a solution that none of the stores I went to came even close to helping me with. And his ability to fix guitars is second to none.

Alan at AMD is far too modest in his ability, I took my 10-year-old Epiphone acoustic to him that had taken a nasty fall and needed the fretboard glued back to the neck. Alan, despite being surprised by the amount of damage, was able to get it fixed within a week, setup and restring as well. My guitar came out literally as good as new, I highly recommend!

Recently contacted AMD and spoke with Alan about doing a complete set up on my Les Paul. After reading through numerous 5 star reviews from past customers and discussing the details over the phone with Alan a bit I decided to go for it and bring my LP into his shop to get the work done. End result? All I can say is WOW! What a positive difference a proper professional set up can do for your guitar by somewhere who clearly knows what the F hes doing. : ) Guitar looks and sounds awesome! Alan even polished out some scratches on my Brazilian RW fret board, which looks beautiful as well now. Moral of this story - If your looking for a highly knowledgeable, professional, friendly and reasonably priced shop to have your guitar tech related needs taken care of, look no further than AMD. These are THE BEST GUYS in the Las Vegas area as far as Im concerned.

WARNING- Based on my experience today this person is NOT a reliable professional. I spoke to him last week and made an appointment for today (Thursday) at 12:30 . I arrived to see another customer waiting at the locked security front door. We rang the AMD buzzer and called Alans cell phone. Nada. We waited for about 35 minutes. It was clear Alan was not showing up for either of our appointments.A professional would have called us to let us know he was going to be late or not at all. Given this flakey behavior, I would have second thoughts having him work on my guitars.

Called this clown on the recommendation from another luthier. Left a voicemail and he did not return the call. Called Guitar Center and they reccomended him. I call again and talked to him and scheduled an appointment with him. I drive to his shop and hes a no show. I call him again and cant leave a voice mail because his voice mail is full. I send him a text and still no response. This jerk obviously has no need for customers because he places no value on their time.
