I went in to price shop and check out the new equipment and got into a conversation with the clerk, Richard, in the DJ area. Richard was so friendly, patient and knowledgeable, he easily figured out what I needed to make my station complete and not only suggested the right models but he explained why I would want one over the other. Richard walked me through all aspects of the required components and I walked out having purchased everything that I needed. He and the sales manager even helped patiently even though I had stayed past closing time. Thanks for a great experience, Richard, Im sure Ill be back to pick your brain again soon!!

They let me try out the electronic kit with a double pedal. Fantastic selection of drumsticks. The staff let me wander the store without trying to oversell everything and answered any questions I had.

I walked in and looked around for about 10-15 minutes. Then finally walked over to the guitars and ask a few questions my salesperson Marcus who assisted me was knowledgeable and willing to test a couple different guitars. So I purchased my first guitar from there. Would highly recommend for any first time purchasers.

Needed new cord to connect my harp mic to amplifier. Spoke to knowledgable Sam Ash tech on phone, got in-stock options to consider. I indicated I would visit store around 11am but tech mentioned store opens at noon that day. Wouldve been bummer to get there when store closed. Went to their website to get more details on cord options. Visited store that day, got excellent tech help from Brian. Bought most excellent Boss instrument cord and several other items. Sam Ash Music Store rocks!

I just purchased my 3rd instrument from Sam Ash and I could not be more pleased with the customer service. Everyone in there is friendly and helpful. I have had upgrades done in the shop too and was quite pleased. Its farther for me than a couple of other options, but I dont think Ill go to the other options anymore.

These guys are great!. Pretty good selection of guitars ... not so much bass but still okay.But the staff is fantastic. Helpful not over barring or pushy and not full of themselves like the other place. I bought my drums, bass equipment, and guitar gear at Sam Ash. Oh ya and my recording equipment. This was my first time at Sam Ash. I went to purchase a violin for my daughter. My salesperson was Caleb. He is an extremely knowledgeable guy and really friendly. My daughter loves her violin. This was a great experience. Although I live across town much closer to other big musical instrument store, Ill more than likely be back to visit Sam Ash in the future.

Went here to get amplifier for electric drums, the guy that helped us is very knowledgeable and helpful. He even explained to my daughter whats the best way to set up her microphone and earphone the right way while playing the piano. And while were walking around in the store every single personnel were very friendly and offering us help. I would recommend this place to everyone. I felt being taken care of and I appreciate each and everyone of them that works here.

I traded in some old antique guitars I’ve had in the past and purchased a custom hummingbird Gibson and although it took a while for the Gibson factory to build my guitar the experiences I have had at Sam Ash guitar store is professional and I felt welcomed I got to go play several guitars and over the course of the months waiting for my guitar I have developed some relationships with these guys they’re fabulous people I will continue to do business with these people the rest of my life

From one bad day came a 100% renewed confidence in my store and I can’t wait to go back for all my future gear purchases. I cannot exaggerate enough how great the level of support and care is that comes out of this store. (:Sam Ash Location - S Maryland ParkwayDate - 03/03/20211:41 P.MI wanted to file a complaint towards this employee and the store in general. As a long standing customer of this location and of your company I found today’s experience could possible be my last with you guys. Before coming into the store I called to ask if they price matched other competitors such as sweet water musiciansfriend etc. and they said yes, that they price match. So as I’m making my decision to go I notice that on the sweet water website they are including a free line 6 helix backpack along with the purchase of a line 6 helix floor model. Now apart from this it also includes a copy of line 6 helix native software with is also an additional $100 + incentive. So I tell the employee Brian the deal that’s vying for my attention and he tells me he can price match that by applying a good discount to the overall purchase if I include the backpack. Well safe to say that I was not only treated rude by this employee, the deal was not honored and I paid through financing the total cost of a line 6 helix floor model and line 6 helix backpack. Apart from that he just kept bragging to his friend how I “was a good catch of the day for commissions” and that “he can’t wait to get that money”. I felt disgusted but I’m also a musician that desperately needed a piece of hardware and I was not about to haul it around unprotected. $2,000+ later and here I feel conflicted. Do I return the item and stand up for a fair transaction that is offered by other competitors? This was not a good day and I feel duped. :/

Great experience at the Sam Ash store yesterday. Went in just to check out some Fender Telecasters I had been looking at on the internet. Ira, in guitar sales let me try more then a few with no pressure and also informed me of the financing options should I decide to buy. In the the process I became aware of the Michael Kelly Guitars which really impressed me at a lower price point. In any case I didnt buy a guitar yesterday but I will be back again soon to do business. by the way this was my first time in a Sam Ash store.

I am unfamiliar with the store and this was my first visit. Greeted friendly upon entering I explained what I was looking for and within a matter of minutes I was checking out. Caleb, I felt went above and beyond my expectations of customer service. He was knowledgeable about the products, gave a recommendation and then offered alternatives without making me feel like I was a burden. Very smooth process and I couldnt have been more satisfied. Hell, Im even taking the time to leave a comment cause I was that impressed. Lol

Called to verify the item I wanted was in stock. Showed up at the store to find out it was not. Paid for overnight shipping from their warehouse, and it took 3 days to arrive (delivery was attempted a day earlier, but the employees at the store werent around to receive the delivery?). Every step of the process of dealing with this store felt like a runaround or a hassle, and now I just tried to unsubscribe from their email list which was a hassle as well. So, heres the review.

I love Sam Ash and have been shopping at this particular store since 2010. This is My store. Unfortunately when I was there yesterday, after I spoke to the manager Frederick, who is always extremely helpful, I noticed that the display racks were nearly empty 😢. It took the unconcerned staff over 20 minutes to return from the warehouse with what he claimed to be the only 9volt power supply he had....$39. I am disappointed. I know the Coronavirus hit us all hard. And music 🎶stores suffered also. And $39 9volt power supplies will drive us all to Amazon.

Talking with the guys in pro audio have nothing but good things to say.Great customer service great attention to detail very helpful and knowledgeable staff!The only minor thing that I can nitpick is that there was no station for disinfectant in the pro audio department and no handy wipes to wipe down keyboards, DJ equipment, and headphones after other patrons touching and using them.

A nice mom and pop style store. A little shabby and the workers seem under stress, but everyone was nice, willing and wanting to help. Prices were excellent and everyone seemed knowledgeable. No real issues during my visit, however the place does seem in need of some TLC.

Older shop in Las Vegas but very attentive, great with questions and really work to earn your business. Very refreshing after standing around at their competitors shop for 50 mins with some standing around saying you have to wait for the drum guy. Ill go here first in the future!

I was looking for a Shure Green Bullet Harmonica microphone and Amplifier he hooked it up, I havent been here in quite sometime but it will be well worth the drive to get more musical items, thanks again you guys are the best!!!!

Not a very good selection. Upon entering there is a sign by the door that states masks required for unvaccinated persons. If you choose not to wear a mask please provide proof of vaccination.

For the most part, most of the employees are nice, some are even helpful. I just wish they had more and so then they could tell me what choices they have, but when you only have one choice its depressing.

I bought a Yamaha YDP 184 from Samash online store. The piano does not turn on, Samash and Yamaha were unable to provide me an adapter for testing after two weeks. I had to call/email them to get an update everyday.Finally I had to unassembled the piano by myself and returned it to Las Vegas local store.The staff in Samash local store were kind and responsible.We are human and made mistake but you should know how react to solve the mistake.

Such a difference from the competition! In the other place, most of the acoustic guitars of any quality are locked up and it is difficult to get one opened so you can try it. In this store, the guitar room has all of the acoustics open, and you are encouraged to play instead of being watched.The manager, Frederick, is incredibly helpful and will always go the extra mile to see that you are satisfied. The floor staff, like all stores, varies in competence and expertise but they all have this great attitude about helping you.Definitely the place to buy a guitar.

Great experience purchasing a guitar amplifier and effects pedal. Anyone can sell you music equipment; what set my experience apart from online shopping or other music stores was the customer service. I needed assistance determine which type of amp to purchase (tube or modeling amp) and their sales associates were incredibly helpful finding the perfect amp for my needs. This includes plugging in to several amps and and getting fantastic knowledge of each amp by Brent and Tony, all without any pressure.I didn’t mention their prices because anyone shopping for anything should really have an idea what a sale price should be. Sam Ash prices are as competitive as any store or online shopping so it was easy getting a great deal. You don’t have to haggle to get a good deal. It’s already there.I always preferred smaller music stores rather than the mega music store type such as Sam Ash, but I can’t say enough great things about this place. Very personable service, great pricing and amazing stock on hand. That’s a win win win in my book. Thanks guys, I’ll definitely be back because everyone knows you can never have enough music equipment, just ask my neighbors!

I’m going to give 3 stars due to the fact I have had positive experiences with this store prior to this event. I took in my guitar to the store tech for a service and there should be more consideration, especially from the repair men, to handle the instruments with care; as they are expensive and not toys. The way this guy swung my guitar up on the counter carelessly & numerous times was very unprofessional. Disappointed about that and I will not be back for a service.

🙋‍♀️Purchased CARLO ROBELLI CLASSICAL GUITAR WITH NYLON STRINGS- I play an electric or an acoustic-electric guitar regularly but for some odd reason my fingers were just raw. Well I went onto the Sam Ash webcite and saw that they were having a Black Friday sale of a classical Carlo Robelli guitar with nylon strings. So my husband and I jumped in the car and drove down. The salesman allowed me to try the classical guitar. He tuned it and let me toy with it. Immediately I was pleased with the student guitar. My husband purchased it for me and it has been the perfect guitar to learn new songs on and to practice techniques on gaining muscle memory before I get my Fender Stratocaster going. In my opinion, from my experience ONLY, this guitar works for me. It has a different sound which is not a bad thing, and its easier on the fingers. Plus, being that its acoustic and relatively inexpensive, I can toss it in my car to play on my lunch break without the anxiety of what if someone breaks into my car and steals it - I have a warranty if its damaged, but if its stolen - I can afford to purchase another one. Thank you Sam Ash! 🥰🤘Im super happy with my purchase.

I like the place. I want a guitar but the associate was kind of rude. Ask me not to be touching the guitars unless I was serious about buying, of course Im serious or I would not go to check for guitars. Is not like I do this every week. You dont go to buy a car and pay for it just by the way it looks, you have to test drive your car before buying. This guy mentioned he had disinfect everything costumers touch. Like costumers need to know that, is his job isnt? If he doesnt want to clean up should I just look? Even better, maybe nobody should go so he can have his disinfected work place

Eric in woodwind/brass was extremely helpful. Took a drive from Arizona to purchase a brand new professional saxophone. This store was the only location in the country that had the horn I wanted so he put it on hold for me. They gave me an amazing trade value for a vintage saxophone and other discounts during a weekend promotion. Great Price! Their in-house repair person (didnt get his name) sat with me for about 30 minutes as we talked saxophones and did some free set-up and adjustments. The horn played even better than it did out of the box. Amazing experience!

This music store has the best customer service. The employees, are very knowledgeable. They go the extra mile with you finding the best product for your needs and budget. We needed an audio system for our church and of all the music stores we went in town (Las Vegas) these guys at Sam Ash were the ones that took their time to guide us as to what to buy. They also have great promotions if you need to finance. Were definitely coming back, due to their awesome service and better prices.

It was a good place to finally see in person. I really wanted to see the latest in standalone PAs from Bose. I believe it is the S1. I needed to hear if keyboards did well and were accurately represented. It was better than I expected. I was once a pro and then a semi pro keyboardist and now have finally turned back into an amateur. But a highly skilled amateur. The guy that showed me what I wanted to see, was very knowledgeable without a doubt and very friendly as long as you stuck to your single subject. I wanted to play around with some of the keyboards on the floor but he would sort interrupt me as if he didnt want me to do that. He even went to another keyboard to overpower the one I was trying. I kept turning it down until the sound of the mechanical keys were louder than the keyboard. However this guy mustve wanted to audition with me. Your hired man. But was it that annoying to let me check a few keys out on my first physical visit to your giant, seemingly empty store? I didnt think I was rude but your weirdness drove me outta there. Congrats. Sam Ash would be proud.

Zach in guitar repair / service deserves abundant praise for his generosity and depth of knowledge. My Squire Vintage Modified Jaguar isnt a guitar worthy of a lot of time, not a custom instrument, not expensive in the least. But Zach took the time to walk through the arcane and, lets be honest, wack aspects of my piece. I learned more from him in 5 minutes than in ten Youtube vids and an hour of googling / forum reading. It was uncommon and, truly, it made my day. When I left, the manager asked me if everything had been taken care of. Yep, I discovered that guitars use picks, so I should probably use one on my guitar, I answered. I think he understood my joshing, not sure. But what I shouldve said was thanks, Zach and thanks Sam Ash Maryland Parkway.

It made selecting the item I wanted to purchase that much easier. Staff answered all my questions and there was no pressure to make a purchase. Sam Ash also gives 10% Military discount. I support any business willing to help out veterans, retired military and active duty. Will purchase from Sam Ash again if I catch the bug to play a musical instrument.

I went in looking for a specific set of drums and a throne. I was helped quickly by a female named Hunter (thats what is on my receipt) and quickly was led to the items I was looking for. No pressure to buy anything more expensive or cheaper. I wanted quality and received quality. It was a great 1st experience at Sam Ash Music Stores. This was the location in Vegas.
