I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received. I was needing an item shipped that I bought from someone in Knoxville, to where I live in Ohio. I called 3 different shipping centers and Marcelle was the most patient and helpful in giving me options with pricing. A few days later when the transaction was made, all the seller had to do was take the item to Marcelle then she called me to explain how she was going to pack it and ship to me. She made it easy for me and the seller, and searched for the best price from the shipping companies as well. In a day and age when many people don’t take the time to truly serve their customers, it’s a pleasure to see Postal Annex #14023 and Marcelle truly go above the call of duty

If I’m being honest, I must say this was my first and LAST time in this place. The lady was beyond rude and very condescending. I will never recommend this place to anyone as long as I’m alive.

Very rude staff. Lady behind the counter offered no helpful advice on how to safely ship collector Coke cans. She just said I can sell you a box that is what we have. I asked how do we wrap the cans so they dont get jostled. Her response what we can put packing popcorn in there. When I questioned her on that, she verbally attacked me saying I needed to leave and come back with a mask and walked to the back of the store. Leaving me at the counter.Not easy to do businesses with.Reply to owners response: You didnt have an issue with me not wearing a mask until I questioned you on the shipping method you recommended. That is when you ask me if I had a mask and to leave until I had a mask.Btw When I left your store I went to another shipping store where they offered me a wine shipping kit. They recommended I use the foam padded sleeves to pack the Coke cans and then stack them two per wine compartment. The whole box could then be packed in a larger box with shipping popcorn. The whole transaction was pleasant and although $65 plus shipping gave me a sense of peace with shipping to my buyer.

After visiting and seeing the other reviews on this place and it’s staff I don’t see how this place is still in business. The lady was EXTREMELY RUDE over the phone but I decided to go in anyway and I’m telling you she wasn’t any more pleasant in person. I left the store and won’t be back and I recommend you take your business elsewhere, I’ve never been treated so poorly by an establishment for no reason. That lady needs to learn even just an ounce of hospitality

In addition to trying to get you the best rate on shipping, they work hard to carry unique and locally sourced small gifts and products like soaps, candles, skincare, jewelry and toys and more. Theyre required by their franchise and ID service to have all staff and customers wear masks still, and theyre doing theyre best to comply with that and encourage customer compliance as hardworking small business owners. Please give them a try!

This is the nicest place to shop and take care of shipping needs. Marcelle and Al are the kindest people and take great care of their customers. They are courteous, professional, clean, and they offer so many services and have a great selection of quality toys and gifts as well.I appreciate that they know me and my family when we walk through the door. Al was just precious! Very fast and efficient fingerprinting services. They also have a great boutique full of unique gifts. Naked bee, Melissa & Doug toys and unique chocolate items, to name a few. Go see this place!

If I hadn’t had to go here to do a DHL return, I would have walked right out the door. The woman I spoke with, Marcelle, was a very rude and unhappy woman. If I could give her two one-star reviews I would. I dont own a printer, so i had to reprint out my shipping label. I’m not sure if its common practice to charge two dollars for a copy onto another sheet of paper as well as 3 feet of tape, but it would have been nice if she would have told me I was going to have to pay beforehand. Talk about a waste of money, to penny pinch over something so small. Its not a big deal for me, but it would have at least been nice to know. I will never be going back here again if I can help it

“Marcelle” is very rude. I should’ve read the reviews before I visited here. I have been fully vaccinated, yes. If you still ask your customers to wear a mask, that is fine. But when I take my mask off to smell your candles, that YOU are selling in YOUR store, DO NOT tell me to not open the tops of the candles to smell them. If you’re thinking about coming here, listen to everyone else’s reviews on here, and DON’T. Al, who was the gentleman that did the fingerprints, was rude and very hard to understand. Take your Identogo and Mailing business elsewhere. Don’t give these folks your business. Never will be back to this Postal Annex store. Toxic.

The hours of operation say you open at 8:00 on Monday, but every time I try to call I get an answering machine that doesn’t even identify the store or the hours of operation. Also, the website has a phone number link which says area code 856 instead of 865, so when you click the link, it can’t dial the number, as area code 856 is invalid. Guess I will take my business elsewhere.

Walked in to buy some boxes and determine if we could use this shop for our business shipping needs. We were immediately accosted by a rude and sarcastic employee who acted as if we had just stumbled into her personal bedroom unannounced. Apparently this is the owner.I recommend this place to anyone who loves being treated like a dumb child. We walked out.

They were able to notarize a quit claim deed on a Saturday! Super fast in and out. Lots of gifts if you need to ship something last minute from the store.

I was shocked and disgusted by how rude Marcelle at the front desk was during my visit. I was there to get my fingerprints done for a job. A man usually does this, but he had to leave for a moment, so Marcelle attempted to complete the process.She kept on giving me incorrect instructions during the individual prints, telling me to start in the center of the print. She was getting frustrated with me, and after awhile I said, “Lady, I don’t think you’re giving me clear enough instructions.” She sarcastically said, “Well, the machine must be lying!” After another prompt came up on the screen that I didn’t follow, she said, “Can’t you read!?”When the man came back into the room, I was in tears. He then showed me how to do the prints the correct way: side, center, side. Everything was fine after that, and it was a simple process.I have never been treated so poorly by a business before. Questioning a customer’s intelligence and accusing them of lying should NEVER be okay. I was humiliated, crying as I left the store full of people.This experience has ruined my day, and I really hope that Marcelle can learn to be kinder to future customers. Until then, I can’t recommend this store and won’t return.(Never write reviews, but this place was worth letting others know about.)

Husband and wife team run the super clean and organized store. They are very friendly and pleasant. They are helpful with any questions you might have.. I always ended up staying longer for a chit chat. 😀

I went in for fingerprints to become a substitute teacher. The gentleman was extremely kind (as well as his wife). He said he was a retired chemistry teacher and gave me a kids chemistry magazine to hopefully peak their interest. It was an overall quick and very pleasant experience.

The postal annex is my go to place for MELISSA and David toys as well as printing and postage. The staff is always kind and truly cares about us as individuals. They know us by name and ask about our family. It has been a hard year for small businesses and I am so thankful for this one staying afloat

Came here for IndentoGO fingerprinting. Al was extremely helpful and personable, would recommend for shipping, IdentoGO needs, and they have a good selection of young child toys too.

I had the pleasant experience to meet the Father and daughter of this facility and from the time I walked into the store I had a smile from ear to ear. They both provided level 10 service while making me feel comfortable and like a part of the family. Such wonderful people. I will recommend to everyone! I had two forms notarized and I was not to familiar with the process but they both put my mind at ease and I was able to take care of my business that day.

The rudest place in the city of Knoxville. Truly entitled, privileged, stuck up pretentious people, I hope theyre not your neighbors!!! I dont need to be stared at and glared down head to toe, while ignored when I am the only one in the store & there are employees talking amongst themselves, ignoring me. I dont have patience as a paying customer, so I just left. Do yourself a favor & go anywhere else. & As evidenced from their response to me and deflection, they dont value our service.

The worst experience with DHL shipping! I tried to send a ‘Valentines Day gift’ to someone in Mexico. I took the package in to drop off for DHL international shipping. I had already bought all the shipping label online and I did not seal the box because DHL told me that the representative at the drop point would need to go over/examine the contents before ‘signing off’ on and accepting the shipment. All that was in the box was various assorted chocolate candies, a t-shirt, some potato chips, and a plush stuffed bear.The lady working here was nice, but when I asked her to please look at the stuff in the box, I got a “oh I don’t need to see all that, it’s fine”.Needless to say, my shipment got caught in Mexico customs for a week, my recipient had the hassle of arguing with customs for a week about needing 3 government permits to get the package, etc. Now, the package is finally being sent back to me.Cost me 145.00 to send this and DHL won’t refund a penny of my shipping cost. My package did not even make it to the recipient.This was my first (and last) time sending anything DHL international. Why aren’t the representatives working at drop points like PostalAnnex+ familiar with this type of stuff? It could’ve saved me a ton of headache if the lady would’ve looked through it and told me that it might be a customs problem to send it.

I had to go here to get fingerprints done for my employer. Half the store is set up as a toy store. I had to bring my three year old with me because I was going between picking my children up from school and work. My daughter enjoyed looking at the toys And I made sure to put everything just as it was on the shelf.The lady, I am assuming the owner, proceeds to walk around the counter to yell at me about my daughter touching toys and to say my three year old was driving her crazy. I apologized and she felt it necessary to keep going. She embarrassed me and I will not be back there.There is a location on Barbee ln. That I have heard is much faster and hopefully less rude.

Marcelle is prompt and helpful when I call her about forwarding my mail. I appreciate the small business customer interaction. Over a year ago they did move from the shopping center next to Kroger to across the road. I have a PO box there and had to find out the hard way that I need to change my mailing address.

Incredibly friendly and helpful people. I use them for all my ppstal and shipping needs. They have the best gifts and gadgets there. I never go to the post office anymore because this place is awesome!

Stopped in here to do a USPS mailing. The woman helping me was very friendly. The shop is clean, and in a convenient location. They offer a variety of services, and have neat things to buy if you’re sending someone a gift. Way more pleasant than any post office, will definitely come back.

My husband and I stopped here to inquire about getting passport photos taken and got so much more before we left! The owners are exceedingly kind people who went above and beyond to assist us. Neither one of us will darken the doorstep of the post office when we can go here instead. Check them out, you won’t be sorry!

Last time I went in here the lady was sooo nice and helpful! This time I remembered the great service I got and called to get a quote on this very large package I have to ship. I said ‘would you be able to give me a quote?’ The lady on the phone says ‘no’... then silence. I say ‘ummm why not’ she says ‘you have to come into the store’ and I am like ‘well my package weighs a lot and I don’t want to bring it in if I can’t afford to ship it’ she is like ‘well you can come into the store and bring in the dementions and I’ll put it into the computer’. How is that different then asking over the phone? I just couldn’t believe how rude and unhelpful she was.

Went to get fingerprinted, website stated they do ink and digital. Went in and was told they do not do ink anymore. Kept pushing for indentigo(digital). Personally wouldnt use these people even if they say theyreprofessional in fingerprinting.

Returned after several months out of state to find that they moved locations without notifying us. Retrieved all of our mail only to check my scanned versions in my vehie and find three pieces of mail and a package still in their possession. Walked back inside and those pieces of mail magically appeared. Will not use this company again!

Visiting Knoxville and needed to mail 2 items. Marcelle (Owner/Operator) was so very nice and did a great job for me! Ill be going back whenever I am in the area. Great place!!

We use this service to collect our mail while we are on the road. They send it to us wherever we are. Plus they print workbooks we offer with our classes and mail them for us. If you work from the road this is an excellent option!

The lady who owns this place does not know how to properly mail packages, as requested. Messed up our overnight and then would not refund our money even though the owner is the one who messed up. No sense of ethics or customer service. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

I moved to Tennessee for the first time and sent two letters here to Japan.However, both did not arrive. I never went to a post office in Florida, so this wasnt the case.Lowest! ! !
