The experience Kennedy and I had with Tidwell collision started with a phone call to Crist when Kennedy hit a branch and did some damage to the front end of her civic. That phone call was professional, informative, completely honest about what to expect. We got the car there, and it was estimated and repaired with quality work and in a timely fashion. We picked up the car and the work was fabulous. They handled everything from the insurance company and that was a huge thing. They even went above and beyond when we thought we had a related problem after delivery. Turned out it wasnt heir problem but we were still treated with respect and as a valued customer. I particularly appreciate the way they treated myself and especially Kennedy throughout this whole process. Its so very important to me to know Kennedy was in great hands when dealing with these fine folks. Thank you to the whole crew at Tidwell Collision in Kennesaw Ga. Took in my car to get fixed through insurance from a minor rear end. Tidwell did great with the repairs - bumper looks better than new! I lucked out and all the parts needed were available quickly so they turned the car around in just a couple of days. Even washed and vacuumed it! Would definitely recommend to others for collision repair.

I had been looking for a 2019 GT Premium Convertible 6-speed and somehow luckily found an exact match with all the options. Bought the car (very excited & happily) on 01/20/2020 (2 days before my b/day) and was enjoying it thoroughly. On 02/14/2020, was out w/ the wife enjoying a sunny valentines day when I was rear-ended on Canton Rd near E. Piedmont. If you see the pictures, I still had the dealer/temp tag...had not even finished my 1st payment....talk about being super upset.Regardless, took the car-in on 03/03/2020 to Tidwell and they kept me informed about all the repairs on a very frequent basis (much appreciated). I got the car back on 03/26 and they were nice enough to make a few tweaks to align the truck, etc. Thus far very happy w/ the repairs; no complaints.

Overall the job took much longer than anticipated for the hatchback lock and trim to be taken care of. The service people were excellent; however, two weeks after getting the job done, the same lock issue has begun. Essentially, the door hatch will not unlock with the door keys or manually, so the same problem before getting the repairs is occurring. I left a message for the service department to call me back it’s still no one has.

WOW I have been working with Chris Crist for few days now about getting my Ford Mustang GT fixed after accident and he has been so AMAZING. First of all he has been completely honest with me letting me know that they are swamped and will not be able to work on my car right away and that some parts i need are on back order. What is really impressive to me though is the fact that even though they are very busy he is very patient with me and answers all of my questions and concerns each time i am on phone with him without rushing me off the phone. I talked to few Ford collision places around this area but the first time i talked to Chris Crist right away i knew i wanted to have my Mustang fixed there. Thank You Chris!

I can not thank them enough. We were driving thru Atl and had an issue with a door not closing. They directed me on where to go and get the part, put it in and I was on my way within hours. Also at a very reasonable price. I would HIGHLY recommend.

They can’t even fix a bumper the right way. They half fast it two times. The bumper still has a long scratch on the bottom of it.Then broke some paneling inside the car. Also left a weird residue all over my interior. Seatbelt was working before it went in and now it is not. Over all poor work. Not the first time this place has done bad work on my cars. Customer service is subpar.

Was very happy with the quality of the repairs. Things I was unhappy about was they did not finish when they said they were going to be done and then not let me know until the day I was expecting it back. They called me during the repairs to add additional work that they did not catch which I thought was something obvious that had to be replaced (apparently it was not on the original quote). Lastly I know it’s a work van but I was expecting it to be washed like all other vehicles that come through the collision center. Overall I was happy with the service but these are the reasons why I gave them a three and a five star rating.

I must rave about the service I have received from this collision center, if you must go here I hope you have the pleasure of being served by Kenneth Rose. He took the most agitating inconvenient situation and made it a breeze for me. They did a stellar job on my repairs and when I had to follow up with problems they were very quick to address it. Ken was so intuitive and his communication is 2nd to none. The staff was always well informed whether he was there or not because he always made sure to leave detailed instructions. He gave me updates even send pictures during the process. If there were any issues he always let me know about it. Jim Tidwell is the way to go if you must go this way. I highly recommend.

So we were looking for a vehicle for my wife. We searched all over the internet and knew we wanted an explorer. Ended up going to several other places, but didnt like the value or the customer service. Came here, no pressure what so ever. Found the vehicle (incredible value). Then slept on decision and bought the vehicle a couple of days later. The only issue we had was vehicle was supposed to be detailed prior to delivery. Which wasnt, I called up manger. They put us in a loaner and went above and beyond to make us happy. Due to customer service and the way they treat you. I recommend this place in that alone, price was great, vehicle was a great deal.

Had a minor accident. They were able to repair the body work in a reasonable amount of time, and did a great job of it. They communicated with me more than my own insurance company. Everyone there was very good at what they do!

Performed repair work on the right front. GREAT WORK!!! You would never know it. The whole process was ease.

They replaced a hood for me. The manager is a friendly guy but seems to have a ton on his plate, which effects his turnaround time on communicating. My hood had to be ordered & he said to call him in a week to check on it. Apparently they will not call you when a part is in, it’s up to you to call & check. So I called once a week for two months. His response to voicemail is non existent, his response to email is hit or miss, and his response when leaving a message with an associate is poor. Finally I called one day , got him on the phone & he said he had a hood in that was for another job, but that person would out of town for a few days so I could have their hood. Now each of the prior conversations I had with him he always said “ you are first in line when those hoods come in.” I’m going to make an assumption that this was something others might have heard as well. So they day I dropped my car off we went over two additional things that I wanted quoted, a ding in the door & a door keypad panel. He said no problem. When I picked up my ride, there was no dual inspection of the work, no walk around, in fact I received no paperwork at all, even though I asked for it. There never was mention of the two additional things I needed quoted. I wasn’t going to bring it up because frankly I was ready to part ways & get on with my day. On the plus side , the job was done with in the timeframe that they told me, which was basically 2-1/2 days, and they did nice work.

Phenomenal experience, very organized. They made sure to keep me inform and quickly repaired my vehicle. The have an on site enterprise which removed any extra hassle. Outstanding job! Thanks Amanda and team!

I recently brought my F-150 here for a warranty issue with my sunroof. My below average rating is based 3 things. First, and most importantly, while fixing my sunroof they scratched and chipped my roof, and then failed bring it to my attention. I found the issues while inspecting my truck prior to leaving, and then raised the issue with them. They kept my truck an additional week, but were unable to restore it to the previous condition. Additionally, they would not propose a solution that would have returned the value that they took from the truck by damaging the factory paint. Secondly, the customer service team is friendly, but not responsive and very hard to reach by phone. Lastly, they clearly made this an issue that I had to fight to resolve, which considering the amount paid for Ford Trucks, is not in line with quality customer service.

I’m posting based purely on customer service. My car was damaged in an accident and I was able to choose the collision center. I chose Tidwell Collision Center because of the google reviews. Although they never got a chance to repair my car- it was determined a total loss- no one ever reached out to me the whole two weeks my car was in their care. I received two calls: one to sign paperwork to work in the car and a second call to clean the car out. I feel as if there should have at least been some type of check in between. I’m huge on customer service and theirs was unfortunately lacking.

I brought my Ford Edge here after a rear-end collision. Amanda and Sue were great to work with. They took care of having my car towed from the wrecker service to their facility. They answered all of my questions and had a pleasant attitude. The car drives great.

When do you only I have had multiple vehicles repaired and they are always done top notch. I would recommend anyone to go there. They explain to you all your options on prepare what the cost is going to be and it’s always done in a very timely manner

Chris and Sue at Jim Tidwell Collision Center are both awesome! Chris is the manager and really values producing quality work for his customers. You can tell that Chris puts his customers first and wants all of his customers to be satisfied with the work that Tidwell does. Sue is also very helpful and nice. My car bumper looked horrible when i dropped it off but it looks great now. Chris did not want me to leave without being 100% satisfied with the work on my car, which I appreciate. Go somewhere else. Had to take it to them for several factory recalls. They kept it for 5 days without touching it and never called to let me know the status. I had to call back a few days later to check again and they told me it was done. When I arrived they couldnt find it and then told me it was still in pieces being worked on. I still dont have my car.

Customer service is fantastic, they did a great job and is the reason they get 2 stars vs 1! Had a drivers side mirror replaced and the drivers side of the truck buffed out. After Tidwell worked on my truck there is now a super annoying metalic rattle now inside my driver door which sounds like someone is shaking a metal closet hanger inside the door and the buff job is completely full of swirl marks and obviously was not polished out. Not at all satisfied(UPDATE) Received a call from Manager Chris, he got me in ASAP and they corrected the issues to my satisfaction while I waited.

I was finally able to pick up my truck (2 days after the date I was initially quoted) to find the interior covered in dust and smelling very strongly of nail polish remover. The only repairs I had done to my vehicle were fixing some minor scratches and paint, so I assume the smell was due to the new coat. The collision center is likely understaffed because I was told the delay was due to someone being out sick. I would think that the body shop team could find value in addressing the debris left behind. I’ve only ever had my truck serviced at the Kennesaw dealership with the exception of the first and second oil change, and my experience has been very hit-or-miss. Probably not going back.

Timely repair, friendly staff, good communication, but poor diagnosis of issue. Despite repeated efforts to explain that the steering was affected by the wreck (steering wheel twisted off-center after front collision), Tidwell claimed it was due to normal wear and tear, even though the steering wheel was perfectly aligned prior to the wreck. Do your research and have a list of questions for your collision center prior to committing to repair costs.

Satisfied with work. Looks as good as new. Took a little longer her than expected but was done right and that was appreciated.Thanks

Absolutely terrible. I dropped my car off on March 8th. The repairs for my car were only supposed to take 14 days. I ended up not being able to get my car back until APRIL 5TH! During this whole period of time I had to constantly call the body shop for updates. No one would ever reach out to me. I would leave messages for my phone calls to be returned and they never would. I would have to call and call and just hope that someone would answer and then pray that Chris Cristen could come to the phone when it was answered. Every time I got the chance to speak to him he would tell me just another day or two until the work was completed. HE DID THAT FOR ANOTHER TWO WEEKS!!! RIDICULOUS! All in all I WILL NOT be returning for any future business and I highly recommend anyone else to stay for away from this horrible body shop. However if you dont mind being left in the dark about your cars progress...go right ahead.

As always, Chris and his team were the best. Only one small “hiccup”, Original estimate for time to complete was 3 to 4 days. It wound up taking 5 days. Even with that, I still give JT Collision a 5-Star rating.
