Best coffee in the KC area in my opinion. Great coffee flavor and no where as sweet as most places. Just the right blend.

Just the best. Never too busy (great for me, probs not great for their revenue). Cozy atmosphere. Delicious drinks every time. Friendly baristas.

The best kept secret in KC, as far as coffee shops go. This location is much more low-key compared to the original Wornall spot. Delicious latte and scone, barista was perfect balance of friendly and informative. Only thing Id suggest is chairs with backs for when camping out and getting work done is the vibe.

As a premier roaster in Kansas City it was only a matter of time before Second Best opened a second shop😉.As a Second Best fan I can attest that they have definitely stayed within their brand aesthetic with concrete floors and vintage seating.I ordered a shot of their two part Brazil / Costa Rica and it was exceptionally creamy and well balanced - which is nice because I think I was the first customer of the day and its not always that a shop has the spro dialed first thing.Overall very pleasant experience, Andy was super genuine and professional three thumbs up 👍👍👍.My only sad remark (nothing on the company) is that I wish we could dine in... One day though!

20 miles into a ride, racking my brain where a decent coffee shop was on my route, then I round the corner on the Indian Creek Trail to find one of my favorite coffee shops! Can confirm, same great quality as their original shop.
