A heavy set woman with blonde-ish hair quickly closed and locked the door and stared at me instead of just telling me they were closed around 8:20am

Ive been to this coffee place but once or twice when Im around Martin City. It is super clean and organized inside the employees are super nice and they dont come off rude.

I used to like coming into this location. Now the second you walk in the door you are screamed at for a mask. The KCMO mask mandate expired August 28th. Baristas here give you glares, rudely stare and clearly talk about you over their headsets. I ordered ahead 10 minutes out, several people came in and ordered and got their drinks, I waited for about 20 minutes, whilst baristas talk about you not wearing a mask. The mandate expired AUGUST 28TH.

I always stop by this location on my way to work for one reason: Deb. If you have a chance to go through the drive-thru in the mornings, chances are you will encounter this sweet lady. The Line was long in the drive thru so I just went inside and they had only 1 person making the stuff. Long wait time but nice workers!

They can’t make coffee correctly. I’ve yet to have my coffee as I have requested, and continue to put ice in a NITRO cold brew though everyone knows a NITRO doesn’t have ice in it. When I go in to get it fixed, forgetting my mask, they refuse to fix it. At least if I forget my mask at other Starbucks, they kindly hand me one. Not this one, nope. They refuse to fix THEIR MISTAKE. Will never go to this Starbucks again. Ever.

What is wrong with this Starbucks? Come on corporation! Came here and lights on for drive-thru, then waited and then drove around to the front and see they are closed at 5:00pm! Just randomly closed. They have done this many times this past couple of months. So inconsistent! What type of business is this place running!

Fast, great service and wonderful coffee. Easy drive thru, the mounted speaker worked very well so I could understand the server inside. (unlike some that sound muffled and probably needed to be replaced) Loved it.

Just received the worst caramel macchiato Ive ever had, and its may go to selection. Wont even be drinking it. What a let down.

Excellent service

My iced caramel macchiato was so full that when i grabbed it from the window it spilled all over the inside of my car and the lady said “ i figured that would happen” i payed for and extra shot of espresso and pretty much lost most of the espresso in my cup holder and it was over$7 for me to pretty much get milk. Not to mention it took her an extra 5 minutes to get my water after that, and even longer for a cup of ice. Bad service at the window, she shouldn’t hand out a drink that she knows will spill everywhere, and just laugh at me when i spill it all over myself and car when grabbing it. I feel sorry for the line that backed up behind me for a simple order. There are plenty more coffee shops near the area to go to.

Randomly closed on a Saturday without updating their store hours. Drove all the way out here for nothing. Poor, guys!

Starbucks isnt as awesome as it used to be. The car fees only okay. Takes too long to get drinks. Years ago the drinks came much faster.

I arrived at Starbucks today at 10:07am. The line was LONG so I placed a mobile order to help speed things along. It processed at 10:09am. I told they lady when it was my time to order my name as always. When I got to the window at 10:21am. They said it wasn’t ready and to pull back thru the line or wait and come inside in 10 minutes. What?!? I just waited 14 minutes in line. The mobile order said it would be ready in 5 to 8 minutes and you want me to go wait 10 minutes in my car or drive thru the line again. They got the manager and 7 minutes later I had my coffee. And it wasn’t even what I ordered. Super disappointed with this Starbucks that I frequent regularly.

This a typical stop for me on Sunday mornings as Im on my way to church to make coffee. I take my own cup which they fill leaving plenty of room for cream. Im sipping coffee for the next 5 hours. And it is always good. On occasion, Ive had some of their pastries, which are excellent also.

The gentleman who took my order was unfriendly and not very helpful Then my drink was not done correctly, so I nicely asked them to redo it, and they didnt even make me the same drink( my original drink cost more), which I didnt realize until wed already gone. I will not go back to this specific Starbucks ever again! 👎

Went through drive thru this morning for a large medicine ball tea, only to get to work and was made wrong. Come back and we will fix it the shift supervisor said. I stated I am at work now and not driving back to get it made right, when it should have been made right the first time. I guess I need to train Starbucks employees to make a tea they should already know how to make?

Put out signs telling your customers to loop around the building so they stop blocking the traffic. this has plagued this area for as long as this Starbucks has been present and yet they refuse to do anything about it. Aside from how spotty the service is at this location the inconvenience credited by their lines is substantial.

Why is this location always closed? That or the drive through closed.

Love being able to order ahead on my app and only have to walk in to pick it up. As long as I make sure to finalize the order its ready to go when I arrive. Always made to order!

Guy in drive thru was very rude and handed my drink to me that was very messy. I had chocolate syrup all over my cup and lid. I was not happy with the service at this location.

I have typically not been a fan of this particular Starbucks... The people were pretentious and condescending. But this time, the young lady who took my order was very nice, and the Barista was a bearded fella with excellent people skills. He was friendly, carried a good conversation until I left, and this was by far the best experience Ive had at any Starbucks ever! I hope my next visit is as good as this one was. :)

The best Starbucks in the area is stateline. Their employees are nice, courteous, and they know the rules inside and out! They always know the recipes and get my drink down to a T every time! They really care about customer satisfaction. I appreciate them and I cant say any of that about any other bux within 50 miles.Thank you, guys.

I love this Starbucks! Its my most favorite Starbucks in the area. I cant really explain it but it has a particularly friendly feel to it. It is comfortable to sit in for extended periods of time.

Never a disappointment! Once we were in the Drive-Thru for about 20 minutes. I actually wasnt paying attention to how long we were in line because I was busy chatting with my daughter. After we placed our orders for two cappuccinos, the lady at the window said, Its on the house and we apologize for the wait. What? Oh okay and thanks. What great service and to get an unexpected free drink was a gracious apology.

This particular Starbucks is pretty fair. I come here often usually through the drive thru. The wait is usually short on most days, but days when its longer, Starbucks is pretty good about comping a drink or two to make up for the time loss. A friend and I ended up visiting until closing time. We then stood in the parking lot visiting for quite some time. Upon climbing into my car and heading home I discovered I had forgotten my phone inside the store. I returned to the store to find it closed, but employees still closing. They let me in upon my plea that I had forgot my phone. Fortunately for me they had found it and locked it up in a safe place. Service above and beyond!

I unloaded my 4 month old child, waited in line for 15 minutes, all while dodging several giant boxes of stock that was blocking the line, just to get to the counter and be told they have no ice! Her only solutions: I can have a hot beverage, which I dont want on a 90 degree day, or drive 2 miles down the road to another Starbucks. I told the cashier there should be a sign on the door and she nodded her head. Knowing she wasnt going to do anything about it I asked to speak to a manager. I said its completely unacceptable for people to wait in line when half their drinks cant be made right now. She also just nodded her head. Even your basic fast food and mom and pop shops will offer solutions! Id have been fine with a drink in the cold cup so I could add my own ice at home, but apparently people at this store are not proactive or problem solvers. Ive gotten coupons for free drinks before without even asking for them, for things I wasnt even bother by (no whip cream, no long straws etc). I feel like when I customer is forced to leave with no drink after waiting in a long line, a coupon to come back later is warranted, not the suggestion of loading up your smile child to go wait in yet another line down the road.

My go to Starbucks store right now. Convenient location right on Stateline. Always consistent in preparing my iced coffee.

Skip this location on State Line if you can and certainly dont trust them with mobile orders. I understand the system can be behind, but they are constantly out of all their food products and literally the last 12 visits Ive made a mobile order on 10 of them were out of what I ordered when I got there.

Awesome service. It is clear the staff really works on memorizing drinks and names to make your experience more personal and fast. Love this shop. Can always count on quick service or a fun conversation with the baristas.

I do not like the Pike or Holiday blends. I asked what they had that I could have as a pour over. Was told they had nothing else. A coffee shop with no coffee. Settled for a latte, but it tasted terrible. Not a lot of positive experiences at this location...but it is convenient for me. Still, I generally go to other locations and just get pour overs here, but I guess that is hit and miss now too. If Starbucks wants to shut down another location, I suggest this one.

Where do I begin, worst staff ever... whenever you ask something of them they have the worst attitude everything you ask seems like an inconvenience,. If you tell them the drink was made wrong they defend that it was not made wrong. And hand you the drink back, I have actually driven out of my way to the braircliff one because there coffee isn’t watery and there staff is way more pleasant.

I enjoy going to this Starbucks on Stateline near 135th. They are usually efficient and friendly. However, the actual store has flies buzzing on the food and I end up smelling like smoke even though no one is smoking in the place. I am not a smoker and I don’t appreciate my clothes smelling like I just lit up! I have no idea how to resolve the problem but would appreciate someone in the company doing something about these issues. Thanks!

Literally the worst Starbucks to go to. Always slow. Got my drink wrong yesterday and I didn’t have time to wait to get it fixed because I was almost late to work. Today took 20 minutes to get my feee drink. I won’t ever go to this Starbucks again. I will continue to go to Belton’s Starbucks.

I work here, let me say for starters, but Ive worked and visited other Starbucks and have only been to a select few that are as friendly, proactive, and quality-based as this one. I come here even on my day off because I just love them so much. I dont have this relationship with or enjoy seeing anyone else Ive worked with in my life. They put the customers first, always, never have bad attitudes and the beverages are better/ more consistent than any other Starbucks in the area. ( Even when Im being nit-picky about my drink because Im a Barista and Im needy ).I couldnt be more happy to work with or be served by this Starbucks and it has quite frankly spoiled me for any other bux or coffee shop.Good job guys.

Its about the 10th time that Starbucks has screwed up on my order. This last time they messed up my iced coffee 3 times. IS THAT A RECORD?! Asked for something free to make up for me coming in after the drive through. They didnt even give me a response, just gave me the remade drink. They dont even deserve a star! Next time Ill be going to the Roasterie Cafe!!

People who leave reviews on here are so damn whiny. Its Starbucks people if you want your super special coffee in the morning that taste AMAZING then put up with a long line and dont cry about it. If you have a kid know youll be waiting in line with your kid just like everyone else no one is going to say oh my a child in Starbucks my god lady/sir you must have a rough life unlike everyone else who wasnt forced to bring their kid in order to enjoy a drink that you cant get anywhere else. Oh whats that you can? Then how about you go there since Im betting the line will be shorter and the coffee less enjoyable....You leave without checking your order including how it taste and then call up to complain that it was colored water?! You are probably the type of person that orders something with nuts and assume since you told them you have a peanut allergy that you can dig in right when you get it without checking it first. Like dear lord the world is going downhill because people wont take responsibility.

One of the less populated Starbucks in the Overland /South Kansas City areas. Typical costumer service and barista services. There arent too many seating options indoor put has a large porch with tables that contain umbrellas.

Worst Starbucks Ive visited and Ive visited almost all in town, since I build project all throughout KC. First off the staff took extra long in greeting or taking my order and I was the only person in line. The 10am staff consists of portly to obese women who are loud and obnoxious. Their banter consists of loud conversation, loud cackling, snorting, and in appropriate racial impersonations. There is total disregard here for their patrons who do not care to hear them. I came in to get a cup of coffee, catch up on emails and was distracted the entire time by their excessively loud and immature cinversation. When I visit a place like this I would rather hear the background holiday music and do some quite reading and paperwork, not endure the staffs obnoxiousness! I had to write this review while here because it was that annoying......

I am actually taking the time to write a review in hopes it will help prevent someone else from this 1st world problem. I was the only car in line this morning and ordered two lattes. Unknowingly I was handed 1 latte (at least they got 1 drink correct) and 1 Dark Roast coffee that had previously been made about 10 mins before I came through. The cup apparently had become soggy and 20 minutes into my commute I went to grab what should have been a Skinny Peppermint Latte when the cup folded at the seam and busted open, which also made the top fly off and the nasty, Dark Roast coffee went everywhere. Obviously this felt wonderful all over my hand and body while driving down the road. I called and spoke to an employee about the situation and explained that I wouldnt be able to come back in to get a replacement but I wanted to be compensated for the difference between a Venti Latte and a Venti Coffee. She told me I would have to come back in today, if I wanted compensation. She didnt offer alternate ways to make the situation right and had a lack luster attitude when I told her they needed to make sure their cups werent defective so no one else would be burned. I did get a Im sorry but that was the extent of it, and she said that she would write a note to let others know. Lesson learned. Make sure you check the solidity of your cups and check your order before you even leave. I wish I would have read some of the reviews prior to going. Its always a risk you take I suppose, but not a fun lesson to learn at 6 am when youre half awake, and driving down the highway. Once again, a 1st world problem but my hand is currently bright red from being burned and Im annoyed with the lack of concern from this particular Starbucks employee.

I like starbucks but i thought the drive thru was for chipolte! They really need to have cleared signs at the entrance of it. its too confusing! I was embarrassed when the guy on the drive thru explain to me that it was not chipolte. Some of my friends have had similar issues with this drive thru!I like starbucks but FIX THE DRIVE THRU!!
