I returned junk frames to Hobby Lobby and got much better quality frames here for $64 less. Also, my cashier was the young lady with curly hair and glasses. She’s amazing. Great customer service! Give that girl a raise! No more Hobby Lobby for me. I’m definitely coming back to this Michael’s store.

Its a pretty standard hobby store but designed to be much denser than a hobby lobby. It also has higher quality available options than hobby lobbys bottom of the barrel quality. The only downside is the lack of a miniature painting section.

Limited selection but a lot of categories. Ive learned to never buy whats cross-merchandised because its always much more expensive than the items in the dedicated section. For example the leather in the jewelry area is 3x the cost of the same type of item in the leatherwork section.

Michaels has really cut in-store inventory. In addition, my experience with the custom framing department did not meet with my expectations. I need someone with experience & an artistic eye. Thats why I select custom framing. Glad I decided on another place for my needs.

I like the basic selection Of various arts and crafts Michaels has to offer to get something on a pinch. I have had to go to a couple other arts and craft stores to find different items, but at least Michaels has a variety of coupons that can help cut costs.

Clean Michael’s that was not very busy at all. Bought one thing with my boyfriend. The checkout lady was quick and nice.

Michaels was fairly clean and organized. We were able to find what we wanted relatively quickly while we were in the store. When we first started checking out there was only one teller, but the line grew to be around 7 to 10 customers long. Two more tellers quickly opened up registers to get all the customers checked out quickly.

Tried to use their curbside service. Was very easy to check-in. After waiting 15 minutes, and seeing two employees in the lobby, I went inside and waited in line. Told them I had checked in curbside 15 minutes ago, which wasnt acknowledged, they grabbed my order quickly and thanked me for coming inside. Why have curbside if you arent using it?

Michaels always has a very sophisticated selection of craft and art goods. Even if they are out of what you want, it seems they have something else that will work.

Tons of things from arts and crafts to home decor, kidscrafts and toys ,yarn stencils and more. But as with much specialty shops the prices are a little high. The variety is wonderful down to metal signs Arts boxes, Halloween decor, and yes still more. A great place to stop and get a few items. So many different craft ideas you would not have normally thought of.

Zoee helped me with my custom order. It was ready the same day! 3 days ahead of schedule.

Shells were a bit chaotic when it come to finding things and staff was distant and hard to find

I was simply picking up a chocolate mold for my daughter but was not in stock so we browsed the store but seemed like every aisle I went down staff was constantly on our rear. I felt rushed and bothered no breathing room to admire and browse. I picked up a couple things went to check out to learn they don’t except Apple Pay which was a burden since I accidentally left my wallet at home. I will stick with Hobby Lobby.

First time I went there. Found what I needed quickly. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only thing they didnt have fabric. Had to go to another store to get it.

Pretty average store. Their Yarn selection is very lacking and seems to be shrinking every time I go in. Other Michael’s stores have a larger variety. I end up going to competitors to stock up. Great place to go for drawing and painting supplies, though.

Very helpful! I walked in with just a couple minutes to shop. I asked for suggestions to finish my project, I was told what to use, where to find it, and I was on my way shortly.

Have good sales. Sometimes line is long and theres only 1 maybe 2 cashiers.But I do love being able to pick up curbside. Sometimes you might wait a few minutes.

Ive been here twice to buy things for my wedding. I need to make sure the prices are right when they ring items up. Both times I was over charged for items and I dont notice until I leave. They are really nice though when they fix it. It is awesome you can use another competitors coupon and you get that discount(hobby lobby) if its more than their coupons worth.

Have noticed over the years a decline in selection, far less good sales and Michaels has become outright stingy with GOOD coupons, there are a lot of choices of where I can spend my money, make it worth my while to shop with Michaels or I wont.

My husband and I recently took in 3 postcards to get matted and had a wonderful experience. The sales associate working with us, Teresa, was FANTASTIC! She helped us find an affordable option that we were both really happy with. She spent a lot of time going over various options with us and gladly shared her expert opinion on what she thought would look best. She never made us feel rushed to make a decision, which I appreciated. Cant recommend her enough!

I ordered some Christmas decorations online and this was the pick up location. Employees were very friendly and ready to help as soon as you walk in there is a greeter. While there I decided to walk around and look for Christmas gifts and found several things for my girls along with more decorations that were 60% off plus they had a 20% off coupon on top of that making the prices unbelievably cheap and much better quality then Walmart or anywhere else. They do have public bathrooms that were also well stocked and clean. Love the location also, Zona Rosa is a beautiful area to shop

Has a nice selection of yarn. Less decoration focused than Hobby Lobby, which I appreciate. It is the crafting store that I would check first for everything except fabric.

Really nice store and helpful staff. I had a great experience getting a custom framing project done. They have computer software that will show you exactly what your creation will look like. The person I worked with was very helpful and made great suggestions. Beautiful, clean store. Michaels offers great discounts, too.

While not a crafty person I do like this craft store, as there are lots of decorating items & ideas. Watch for great sales which help at check-out. I have noted lots of beautiful yarns. Staff pleasant & helpful. Lots of free parking.

Michaels was great as always.This was my first time going in since the Coronavirus started. There was quite a bit on clearance, as expected, which was nice. Social distancing was done at the registers as well as employee face masks and plexiglass barriers at the registers.I originally went in looking for Zebra Mildliner brush pens. They didnt have a spot for the full set, but they did have some singles. I think Ill wait and get the set, which will be cheaper. I tried getting them at Target, which had a tag for the set, but they were out of stock. So, zero for two. They do have a great selection of the Tombow marker brush pens, so if I needed to get something like that right away I could. I know the set I wanted is less popular and not carried as often for brush pens.I ended up getting watercolor and marker lettering pads on clearance as well as some Jane Davenport washi/journal tape.I didnt see any employees in the store besides the person at the register, but that could be because some were on break, in a different part of the store, or I was too busy looking at all of the arts and crafts amazingness.Overall great experience.

They do not have the selection that Hobby Lobby has but if you are looking for art materials they are pretty good. I like the 40 and 50 percent coupons.

I took in stitches items to be framed. Char was AMAZING! Great ideas & the finished product is absolutely gorgeous. She knows her stuff & is a delightful person to visit with.

Really nice craft store. Pretty much has what I need on a regular basis. They always have the decorations for upcoming holidays a lot earlier than most store, so it makes it easy to stock up! I really like shopping here and totally would reccomend. Check it out sometime!

Was looking for adult coloring books for my 85 yr old neighbor. They had 5 to choose from and it wasnt what she was looking for. The store itself is very clean.

Amaaaaaaazing. This place always has great prices and awesome sale deals. I love going in here and getting all my craft supplies at good prices. The place is always clean and everything. In our local Kansas City area, I have been to every Michaels Store. MO side and KS side. This store is my favorite. It is clean, pretty much everything is labeled, and if not they give you a fair price. The store manager was hard to work for when I worked for her at the Liberty store. But her tight run ship shows in the cleanliness and function of the store here at Zona. The staff is very fun, friendly, and helpful. Oh, and patient when my bored teenagers are in the store acting silly.

Its okay. Not a dedicated art store like Blick but a general arts and crafts provider like hobby lobby. It has all the necessary items for artist. Paints, paper, pencils, tools. Well almost everything. Good luck finding a T-square with a ruled acrylic edge. Going to have to order that online. On top of that, like any art store the pencils and pens are all scattered about and disorganized by the random assortment of messy plebeians you come to expect. The staff, however, dose a gold job keeping the chaos to a minimum. They are warm, friendly and helpful.But the bottom, if you are a serious artist looking for you tools and supplies, just go to Blick homie. But if you need just one little pencil or a pen or are getting stuff for your kids presentation at school then this place is sufficient.

If you need something dear to you framed, please go in and ask for Char. She is phenomenally good at what she does. Do it before she retires in September. You wont regret it.

They did not inform me at the time of purchase that they were not taking returns or exchanges (until further notice) I spoke with the lady about my purchase saying I was going to buy the items and possibly return whichever ones I did not use. Not once did she inform me of the return/exchange policy..

I went to Michaels to have a series of things framed in a very complex shadow box frame with double matting. The manager of the framing department, Char Reynolds, exceeded my wildest dreams with her precision, interpretation and shear talent that she possesses. The finished product is truly a work of art and now a treasured family heirloom. Thank you Char!!!! Oh and with the sale pricing that was going on meant that I paid a fraction of what would have been an 800-900 job! Thank you Michael’s! And thank you Char!

My wife spent too much money here. The items are not pricey but they can accumulate fast and you can spend hundred of dollars even though they have sales up and down. Most of the item I can find from ebay for dirt cheap.

Selection is ok. Service is ok. Whenever I leave here, I tend to think to myself, “I guess that was ok.”
