This place didnt know by mouth what could be wrong it what even was wrong and they were able to figure out what was completely wrong without he telling them what happened! Have used this place so many times between me and my mom and I wouldnt go to anyone else for any mechanic reasons! Best place in town and will tell you whats wrong with your car in terms that you can understand yourself!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!

Scott at Victory Motors has gotten me out of a bind on multiple occasions, and each time taught me something that has proven to be helpful later on in my vehicles life. The service is night and day difference compared with others in JC.

This place is the best....its a family run shop that is expert at repairs very nice and kind...and honest as the day is long....Scott ..who is the son and master auto tech. is very friendly and will explain to you exactly what is going on and repair it right the first time...mom runs the front office...and dad handles the used cars ...and mom said all of the used vehicles are thoroughly inspected and gone over before being sold.....Im new to the area and Ive gone to some of the local businesses and mentioned that I took my pickup to them and 2 different store owners told me thats the only place they would take there vehicles ....just give them a try and youll probably be very glad you did!

I HIGHLY recommend Scott and Victory Motors in Johnson City, TN. He worked on my ‘94 Mercedes SL500. Fixed a problem that others could not. I even had a bad part and he corrected that too. Now my car runs like a dream. As a business owner myself, I can tell when someone cares!

I had to take my vehicle up there yesterday to get a price quote on some work I thought I needed to have done. After talking with Scott, I went away knowing that he is someone who is incredibly knowledgeable and also takes great pride in his work. I also enjoyed speaking with Pat! I would absolutely recommend Victory Motors!

The people who work here are always super friendly and professional. This is the only mechanic shop Ive ever been to where they explain the technical aspects of the repair work, and Ive never once felt the kind of pressure you sometimes get when youre at a more well-known corporate auto shop. And the prices are super reasonable too, some of the work Ive had done here wouldve cost me way more at the places I used to go to. Oh and I live in Asheville and am always more than willing to drive up to JC for repair work because these guys are that awesome!!

This shop is family owned and run. There is one ASE Certified Master Technician and he does all of the work himself. Hes smart, honest, and does great work. I went through a lot of shops in this area before finding someone that I trusted to touch my car, and Scott is now the only one allowed under my hood. A smart, competent mechanic? And hes honest?! AND he has great prices?!! I know. I didnt think it was possible either. His shop is right behind Harbor House. Go check it out.

Oil drain plug on daughters car was stripped. Scott fixed that, showed me exactly what happened too. Oh and did a complete oil change & fluids tire pressure service to top it off.

I have never trusted a mechanic as much as I trust Scott or a sales person as much as I trust Lau. I took my vehicle in to have the water pump replace. I asked them to replace the timing belt too. I picked up my car after (3) days of work and paid them $777.00 for the service. I broke down on the interstate on the way home. I called the mechanic (Scott) and he told me to pay for the towing back to his shop. My car has been at his shop now for over a week. Scott has NOT owned up to his mistakes while replacing my timing belt. I have valve and piston problems because the timing was NOT done properly. Scott has to send it to another garage to have it fixed and want me to pay another $300.00 - $1,100.00 to fix his mistakes. He was supposed to call me back and give me status of my vehicle and refuse to return my calls. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I can NOT believe that honest people will do this to hard working people. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I moved here after retiring from the United States Marine Corps. Johnson City is a beautiful place to live. Just be aware of the 10% of people who lack integrity and professionalism. I lost my vehicle and have to replace it without any faults to Victory Motors. Where is the justice? Semper Fi!!!

In late 2009 my wife and son were stranded in Johnson city out of town from their trip from asheville, a good samaratin brought them and their car to Scott due to a bad water pump, Midas wanted over $800.00 to replace the part on a 4cyl dodge stratus, Scott did the water pump and the timing belt, complete service for around $400.00... also his mother became known as the candy lady for befriending my son who was 6 at the time... Scott is ASE certified and as far as I can tell, he wrote the book on GM, I have been bringing him my farm trucks ever since... hes honest, and has no intention of taking advantage of the confusion that can come from vehicle complications... if you need an accurate and honest person to help you understand your vehicle and you want a repair done right the first time once and for all, theres really no other choice in the tie cities area ...

Was great experience could have not ask for nicer ppl.

Bought a vehicle from them, said that the motor mounts were the only thing wrong, that they replaced a bunch of parts with new parts. Got the car towed to get it fix the mechanic told me that the new parts they put on was not true except the battery, and that not only the motor mounts were bad but the rod was bad all the gaskets were blown and many other problems. I am very disappointed in the lack of honesty. During my current situation I feel like I got robbed, used, and abused. Lost all my money on a car that was supposed to help provide for me and my family to not having any money on a car that wont even turn over. I would not recommend going to them as of this point. I am gonna call and see if they will make this right. If I do not post a change it is because there was none.......and response to the owner you are stupid because it was my money and the title was put in my name, get your story straight or ask your husband I guess because I didnt do business with you. Btw your luck if I dont sue you for putting me or my fiancee name on the internet. That is private information stupid lady and btw who in their right mind would put a deposit down on a vehicle that did not run....your even more of a joke then you were then.
