Its closing, very sad news. I hope this space is filled with something comparable. The community truly benefits with a welcoming market. Maybe a farmers market for our neighbors may work out?

Its a convenient place to shop. Its not fancy by any means, but the store is clean. Its the go to place for trad Southern products. The employees are friendly and very helpful.

Only place I can find beef neckbones. There arent a lot of frills and amenities, but it us an honest store.

As always, great experience! I love the hometown feeling, while shopping here! 2 thumbs up for the meat dept, the selection is never disappointing! The butchers are always eager to help! They have protocols in place for covid 19! Regarding the comment above, they were not price gouging on toilet paper during the shut down. Perhaps you should do a little more research in package pricing, before you post untruths!!

Could not find anything and the prices are sky high and Piggly wiggly is going out of business we were told by the employees that they are shutting down and selling everything off the shelves and not re-upping because theyre going out of business would not recommend the store not unless you want to pay $100 for five items you cant find anything in the store theyre out of everything

Took a friend got a few items to put on the grill ok prices I would go back to shop not very crowded liked Walmart I real enjoy that 🙂

Fantastic staff. I could could have stood there all day and talked with our cashier and bagger.

Always seems dark and a little dirty. Not a lot of produce to choose from compared to other stores. Cashiers are nice but hate that the registers arent big

Highly disappointed with this store! During this time of uncertainty, they decide to take advantage of the customers and the situation by price gouging! Yes IT IS price gouging. Which is illegal after a State of emergency has been declared. I will personally never shop at Piggly Wiggly again. Other stores carrying the same brands are still significantly cheaper. $35 for 12 super rolls of cheap off brand toilet paper? I can buy Charmin 12 pack of super rolls for $10. PW should be ashamed! Extremely disappointed!

Best place to buy meat on this side of Jacksonville. The building could use some sprucing up.

Clean and well stocked. Ill be honest though, Im used to a much bigger selection of organics, produce, and healthy foods like nitrate free meats. There are no gf really, and thats rough for Celiacs..

Great customer service, social distancing was respected and mask were required 😷 ! Its my moms favorite store had to stop and send to get what was on her grocery list.

Well...its not Food Lion. Prices are considerably higher even store brand items. Very little stock on most items. Few sales and still higher prices. Meats are ok but prices still much higher...Better to truck on down to Food Lion if you are concentrating on saving money and finding items you want.

I gave the cashier $20.13 my total was $5.13 she didnt give me my change nor a receipt... I get home and realized it...Yes its my fault for not noticing... BUT be careful....

Was a little less than impressed. I have moved here recently and more than 20 yrs ago I loved the local 🐖. I was hoping for something similar and this was not it.

Picked up some of the hot meals for dinner from the deli. Everything seemed good, so I went home to watch TV and eat. Had a good chicken dinner and a btl of water.

I was looking for small turkey wings. They only had large wings. I did purchase other meats.

Sadly I was very disappointed in this store.So not what I would expect from a Piggly Wiggly. I will say they have good competitive prices. However the store was dirty. Some of the products were outdated. The steak we picked up actually was turning colors. When approached by an employee it felt as though they would have rather ignored us then spoke to us. After placing the few items in our cart we reshelfed them and walked out. To be fair it was our first experience there so I cant base it on past visits but it most likely will be the last visit.

If your looking for a great price this is your store most items are very reasonably priced. The homemade signs are a little tacky, take the time to type out and print it. And the restroom looks straight out of a saw movie!

The Piggly Wiggly on Henderson has an excellent manager! You always see him working. He has well trained employees that are there to help you any time. The loves helping the community.

High prices. Staff not helpful at all!!! I was visiting. They acted like it was a real pain to answer questions about where things were. Just plain RUDE

Came here to get change to use over machine outside. The treatment of people of color was like going back 60 years. The staff were speaking to their customers of color like children. I asked one clerk for change for the ice machine outside, she replied you got to get change from the customer service counter and she be back in a few minutes. There was a elderly man of color that had been standing there when I walked in waiting to play lotto. The clerk finally returned to the counter and procedied to wait on the gentleman. As she was talking half down and half yelling at him it , and I have here more than eight minutes now I finally became fed up grabbed a item and ask may I have change now she rings me up gives me back sixteen dollars and some coins, three five bills and one single. I than asked if I could at least have ten singles, clerk I dont have it when I could clearly see a stack of singles in her draw. So once again Im standing at the customer service counter . The clerk says to me do you need to play lottery, I say all I need is singles for the the ice machine outside. Clerk than yells at counter agent that I needed change, the agent then yells he just gonna have to wait. The clerk then seeing me getting upset finally gives me the change. The whole time I am in this store which is more than nine minutes , i see that its just not me but ever person of color was treated the same way. I would never shop there, and would suggest anyone of color shop somewhere else.

Ive only come here a few times, usually when Im in need of a quick item and already waiting for one of the kids to finish their lessons at the neighboring gymnastics studio.Personally, its rather dirty. The floors have debris and stains or spills, theres dust on the less popular items, even the boxed goods have an oily sheen to them, like theyve been there for a while.They produce and meats sections are the only cleaner areas: produce actually looks pretty fresh, and meats are bright, bloody, cleanly wrapped and fairly cheap.I couldnt imagine coming here for an entire shipping trip because of how grimy it is, but its ok for quickly picking up something Ive forgotten, or browsing through the fresh foods for something for dinner.As for the employees and customers, I have no complaints. The employees have been courteous and professional every visit, and Ive never had any issues with other customers.

This is my preferred meat store. They have great steaks and still have knowledgeable and very skilled butchers who will custom cut to meet my needs.
