This is the Publix location in Jacksonville for their Aprons Cooking School. If you want to be a better cook, then check it out online. My wife and I have attended several hands-on classes and demo dinners here. Educational and fun. More people need to know about it!

Got some Boars Head meats from a lady that was pleasantly helpful. The prices are a bit higher for the non perishables comparing competition. But once again, what I expected. Pay for that quality..

Kitchen close @9pm except fri/sat 10pm great drinks bar is ran very well team work .my favorite was live band. Chillulu. Great music.

Just want to thank Joy in the Deli Dept. for the exceptional customer service she provides….she was very concern about me waiting and apologized, suggested some foods in the hot bar section and is very attentive, friendly and really makes u feel welcomed. You are very lucky to have her in your store. Pretty much all your staff is very nice and they do a great job! Thank you.

The deli employee that was took my order made fun of me for ordering the type of meat that I did, and then him and his two coworkers proceeded to talk about how much they didnt like eating what I had ordered, right in front of me. That is so off-putting and rude, I dont ever want to go back to the deli counter. I shouldve called them out in the moment but I didnt react fast enough. Usually there is a big wait for service at the deli. And there is always a long line to checkout! I wish they would staff more checkout lines, or add a self checkout station if they cant.

Our favorite Piblix to shop at! Of course we love a good Pub Sub and their chicken salad is delicious. They clean and sanitize the shopping carts, the store is clean and organized, and you barely have to wait in line unless youre there during peek shopping hours.Only gripe is the entrance to this place. I know its not their fault but especially during peek hours, (Target is in the same lot) only having one exit makes it a nightmare. Lots of road rage happens, people dont pay attention to stop signs which almost causes accidents, etc.

I love Publix! For the longest time my parents have given me publix gift cards as birthday gifts. The people is what makes the experience special. One in particular always stands out to me! Brittany M!! She is amazing and is more than willing to stop what she is doing to help. She takes customer service to a whole new level, always smiling and always in a great mood. Publix I dont know how you find employees like Brittany but hire more like her!!

Edward the deli guy was so professional and pleasant.

Normally I love Publix locations but the one on San Jose next to Target is dated and in serious need of updates. It feels like going back in time to an 80s grocery store. Entry doors are too narrow, pharmacy has dim dated lighting, carts are smaller than every other Publix location etc. Those are just a few examples and there are more.

Being in search of specific ingredients to make an important dinner, publix has never let me down. I couldnt find the cheese I was looking for in the deli and Brittany M. was a life saver for me she went above and beyond to help me find my ingredients. All with a very positive out look even when I got discouraged about finding the items!!!! Amazing service and an amazing find in an employee!!!! Thank you so much for making sure I got my dinner completed!!! All with an amazing smile!!!!

Publix and there team members are always so helpful other businesses should watch how they train their team members.

Publix as a business has always been good to me. Occasionally you can find assistant or store management that does not abide by the company culture, but the funny thing is they never last long.Ive had employees go out of their way to ensure I could afford medicines, conversations about popular culture with an employee that lasts months (1 x week shop), and overall very pleasant interactions with staff.Food quality is always top notch, but most especially if you have a store that makes their own deli mozzarella (oh... my... god... its a religious experience).

Always a good shoping experience. Staff is friendly and ready to answer questions. Almost always offer to help load groceries at checkout.

Stopped by one evening last week and had an absolutely pleasant experience with Ms. Joezella in the deli. Even late in the evening she had a smile on her face, was kind, & made you feel at ease. She alone has made us want to shop at Publix more.

Absolutely horrible experience with a bakery staff including the manager shes very smug condescending and rude. When I escalated my concerns about their behavior towards customers to the manager the manager was also rude and smug smiled at me and told me to have a nice day very rude staff dont waste your time shop at Winn-Dixie. #noempathy #nocustomerservice

Visited San Jose Blvd. Jacksonville location Wednesday about 6:00 pm. with my shopping list , observation were clean parking lot, store inside floors were clean, plenty on lights, store was well staffed, all employeeswere busy with their duties , meat and produce departments well stocked,,works were available to help find items, checkout had no waiting lines , cashiers were friendly, help was offered to get full basket to car on a rainy day, a well professional managed store, PUBLIX SUPER MARKET.

My favorite Publix by far! Great customer service and always clean. I forgot an item at the register and the man bagging ran it out to me in the rain. I also forgot an item and they let me run back to get it, when I did that I had forgotten my purse sitting at the register and Patsy (cashier) made sure it was safe. LOVE this store!

I gave them five stars because this is where I go to get free shots at the pharmacy: COVID, annual flu shot, shingles and DPAT. I have Medicare/Blue Cross and never pay. Best deal: weekly flyer that has Pay $40 for a $50 gas card also Buy One, Get One Free deals throughout the store. A trip will cost you at least $125.00 if you go up down the aisles. You can bother their professional chefs at the in-house cooking school if you want a brand recommendation. They are good at discussing meat and poultry......so are the butchers. Prices are definitely going up. Walmart Grocery on Old St. Augustine Road can beat them price-wise but that is a whole different experience.

I Dont like self check out!Too many hoops to jump thru to ring up each item.They ditched my favorite low sugar yogurt!!! But,I will always Love publix they are 4steps above other stores even if there prices are 4$ more than other stores.I just dont get to spend much due to higher prices. Publix has the MOST RESPECTFUL, KIND EMPLOYEES!!!They Genuinely care about you and how your day is going and thats just very nice in the world that we live in. Even though they may be having a bad day , it never shows.

Twice recently Ive bought ground beef from this Publix which I discovered to be completely spoiled and dark grey when I went to pull it out to cook it within a day or two of purchase. Total waste of money and disgusting.

Its a all white grocery store. Like there not diversity at all and its that way on purpose. However I have never been racially profiled, or discriminated against. Always respectful genuinely happy and ready to assist in any way they can. Love it lol is that wrong.

I was in a ton of pain. My prescription was sent over an hour before I arrived at PUBLIX. When I get to the pharmacy counter the lady tells me it will be another 30 minute wait. I sit down in the waiting chair to wait. After 30 minutes I go back up to the counter and it HAS been ready!! Why if I tell the lady I am waiting and seated in their waiting area in PAIN she doesnt call me up but has me wait the whole time. Horrible service, seriously! When you have mouth pain you need your antibiotics and obviously this PUBLIX pharmacy doesnt care. Last time I will use this pharmacy!! By the way it was the lady pharmacist!!

Fast Deli Service, Delicious Mac and Cheese

This is a really nice Publix! We drive over the bridge and go into Mandarin as it has more to offer than the ones on Fleming Island. The shelves are always stock and they have an Apron’s cooking kitchen for classes! Chef Tom is amazing and the classes are really enjoyable! They serve wine straight from the shelves so you can suggest what you wish to drink with the food that you cook and eat during the cooking class. They have the best flash frozen fish (all varieties)!! We love the Maui Maui! Always fresh food in the veggie department.

Its ALWAYS a pleasure to shop at Publix. Manager Lisa is such a blessing to this location she engages with all the customers and staff. She has such a warm personality. I will continue to come to this location because of her. And the cashier at customer service Ena Skiljo OmG I hope Im not spelling her name wrong. I just wanna make sure she gets recognized as well she was sooooooo patient and so courteous to me. She made my visit very smooth at customer service. I will continue to shop at this location because of the stellar service both ladies provided manager and cashier.

This Publix lacks a lot of the things that newer Publixs have, but the staff is always kind and helpful without fail. The management however is unhelpful and cocky depending on who you are speaking to. I have been uncomfortable in this Publix before just asking the managers basic questions that their staff answered without skipping a beat....Overall, this location is well stocked and when it is well staffed, runs perfectly. When it isnt, the managers will insist Milk is on the bread isle when it is really in the back...🙃🙂🤣

Deli personnel are awful. They either ignore you and hope you go away or say Ill be with you in a few minutes and then never wait on you. This happens when there are no other customers. Its not like Ive been rude to them, both times I never got waited on and left.

Very nice Publix store. Came in for turkey burgers, but when I found out they had sold out, I found two salmon burgers at the deli instead and they were amazing! I then wanted to get buns, but only had two burgers and didnt wanna waste a 6 pack of buns, so the bakery associate created a smaller pack for me no problem! Very accommodating and the staff was super friendly. They even had my dogs special food buy one get one free!

I ordered a Publix sub for myself and my husband online at 11 AM and they told me and be ready by 11:30 we arrive at the publics and didn’t leave with our sub until after 12 to get to the car and realized our meatball sub is super cold so I called them to have them remake it just to go back and pick it up and have to wait another 30 minutes!!! Not good customer service at all no one once said I’ll be right with you or give me a few seconds ! There was an older gentleman with glasses helping with subs then he stopped and started front facing the potato salad while 6 people waited!!!!

My mom and I came in tonight and there were probably 5 guys, cashiers and baggers in our lane and the lane right next to ours; they were extremely friendly and somehow we had the best 5 minute or less conversation about the college championship tonight and also how we were all hyped that the Patriots arent gonna be in the super bowl this year. Over all these guys were super friendly and extremely funny and really made my day. Thanks Guys!
