What an awesome place! Matthew was very helpful and didn’t make me feel bad for being a complete newb. It is well stocked with products, paints and a variety of different games. In the back they have a surprising spacious area for gaming. Highly recommend stopping in.

We are on vacation from TN and stopped in to check out the store. Very clean with a great selection. Brian, the store manager, was very helpful and recommended some great games. We purchased several games which were reasonably priced. We will definitely visit again whenever we are in this area.

Great place for when I need dice or minis. They have a huge selection of minis and when I was there they offered to help me find one I was looking for, one guy on the computer searching, the other manually looking to find similar ones. Havent utilized the paint stations or game space in the back yet, but I love the spooky designs that were up for halloween.

The staff have always been friendly and helpful. I appreciate having a nice local game store to visit, play and purchase role playing games and card games in a clean and friendly zero pressure customer environment. Not only can I brag about the store but having been there with customers who are excited about gaming and helping the community grow is a sign of a store that wants to be more than just a place to buy things. Regular activities both by the store and by customers are listed on their large activites board as well as listed on their social media to keep customers and potential customers in the know on events of interest greatly helps all. I’ve been coming to FLGS off and on since 2015. Hiring Brian has been the most positive change that has happened at this store. He has improved customer service, flow, product, and events. As a customer, I have always been welcomed by him and enjoyed our conversations. He has so much product knowledge and has inspired me to begin table top gaming again.

Not a great experience. Products are fine, but the dude at the cashier was way out of line. Im a female shopper and as I am checking out, Im using the tap feature to pay for my things. He looks to my male friend and says how I just got tapped and that he should be grateful to be here to witness the occasion. It left me feeling incredibly uncomfortable and had I not already paid for my things I would have walked out without them. Not going there again.

I’m a D&D player who comes in regularly on Tuesday nights. Brian the store manager has done a phenomenal job running the store and being a DM to new and experienced players alike. The store needed some new life and I find myself coming in regularly to see the changes. Well done to the owner for the new image to this great store.

The only way to make this place better is to get your taxes done here. Free tables, the best selection of tabletop games, and an excellent community. Ill be back and Ill be.. critically fumbling most likely. Its my luck not their dice. I swear...

First time in the store. Bryan(spelling?) was very attentive to me just wondering around looking and asked if there was anything in particular I was looking for. I told him I was interested in Magic cards. He took his time and spoke with me on the type I was looking for. I ended up not buying any because my fiancé was at another store unbenonced to me buying them...I was trying to get them as a surprise...lol...will be back because of Bryan being so kind.

Fun little shop with friendly staff and a nice selection of board games, cards, and tabletop rpg figures/supplies to choose from. Was also having a clearance sale on a bunch of comics at the time as well. Also loved the fact that they showcased and highlighted a bunch of card/tabletop games designed by locals as well!

Great expansion of warhammer/mini paints/supplies, and great RPG displays. Cool to see Call of Cthulhu getting some shelf space love!

I brought my son here today for the first time. It was his birthday and he wanted to pick out some new Pokémon cards and I wanted some Magic the Gathering cards so I can teach him how to play. I had not played in 15 years and Jake was super helpful. He answered all my questions and was very friendly with my son and I. I was also extremely pleased with the cleanliness of the store. Great store, great employees! We will be back!

Stopped into this game shop on a whim with a few of my friends and was blown away! The front of the store was loaded with a variety of games from WH40k, MTG, D&D, board games, and more. There were options to purchase new or used for several items in the store and even an option to rent board games to take home and play. The back half of the store is focused on playing your games with no fees for using the tables (be sure to call ahead to reserve a time!) The store manager was also super friendly and helpful, answering our questions and sharing the plethora of upcoming events. If you are looking for a place to call home for you and your fellow adventurers, look no further than FLGS!

Great store, great service. Surprised to find some of the minis Ive been after for a while now in the store so I bought them up quickly. The largest collection of Bones/Reaper line of minis Ive ever seen in one physical store. Marvelous! Will return again when Im in town.

I love this place. So many games and accessories and they give great advice too. This is the only place I could find the Oceana expansion for Wingspan.

You can save yourself a LOT of time by just going here first. This place really IS awesome!

This is an awesome game store that caters to board games and tabletop gaming such as Warhammer and other miniature type games. The selection is incredible with pre painted figures as well as preowned and new. They have terrain and painting accessories and even have painting demonstrations and other events for the community . The staff is friendly and accommodating. theres something for everybody. the prices are reasonable. they have a big room for people with several tables to play on that already have terrain and theres room for you to bring your own terrain .this place is a really cool store for the whole family to come and enjoy.

I love coming here for dnd and mtg items. I always have a great time with the cashier Brian. I bring in publix sub to eat during game play and he would joke about what sub he likes. He was very helpful with looking for cards and even during games with my husband helping me play (Im still new to both games). He informes us of any upcoming events and encourages us to join. He always has a smile on hes face and welcoming. I dont think we would come here and spend so much time and money on items from cards, dice, food, ect if it wasnt for his welcoming personally.

I have been coming to FLGS for years and was extremely happy to return after the COVID-inspired staycation. To my surprise and delight the store had hired a new manager, Brian McCray, who has made it even better than before. The altered floor plan is more open, welcoming, and displays better, and Brian himself is energetic, knowledgable, and always ready with a groan-worthy dad joke. (My wife loves him to death.) The owner, Lloyd Brown, should be commended for snapping up such a quality person for his quality store.I love this place.

Edit: I no longer come here, as of today. Unfortunately, the mask mandate is enough to keep me from coming in. I really wish you would drop this mandate and join the rest of the state in making it optional. Our venue will, sadly, be changing due to this rule too.**Old review**I really enjoy this shop. I get many of my figures and paints from here. But the real winner is my coworkers and I come here once a week to have game night. We love coming here since they have so many tables for us to use and even games to rent when we are burnt out on ours. The staff are awesome too!

This place is great, if you are into hobby wargaming, tabletop rpgs, board games, or are just a dice hoarding goblin, FLGS has you covered.Gaming tables in the back, in case you dont have the space at your home to run whatever game you want to play. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, they have everything a person would need, stuff for both a beginner and a seasoned vet.I was personally excited to see the amount of vintage gaming magazines and older edition gaming materials, it all brought me back to when I started gaming in the late 70s with basic Dungeons and Dragons. But dont take my word for it, check the place out for your self, you wont regret it.

A wonderful environment to be in, the staff was super helpful and the store itself is absolutely well stocked with almost any type of table top goodies for your needs needs. Will be returning soon for more minis and DnD needs 😁

Great community, friendly staff, the store is constantly low on or out of product.

We went in tonight and was greeted by a friendly clerk by the name of Taylor (or Tyler). He asked us if weve been in before and since we had not, he showed us around and asked what we were looking for. He provided great, friendly service and once we selected a mini figurine that was close to what I was looking for he continued his nice conversation. I didnt find exactly what my character was but he went above and beyond telling us about events and even looking up the figurine I wanted. It turns out it wont be released until August or September of this year. Thanks to Taylor (or Tyler) for the great service. We will be back again to support a great local gaming business.

This has become my second home for gaming. Matt is exceptionally friendly and knowledgable on Magic the Gathering and I always feel welcome when Im there.

Ive been coming here for years, the staff is generally very friendly, and they have a lot of space for gaming, be it 40k, Magic or DnD. I dont play currently, because of the pandemic, but used to play DnD there once a month, and very much liked the store for that. Now for one negative, their prices. Many already expensive games and minis are priced above MSRP, making their prices the least competitive in town. Other than that, great store.

Worth the hour and a half drive from Georgia to visit! Staff is super helpful and friendly. Have driven down several times JUST to go to this spot.

I just called to ask about a comic series (they dont carry any) but the person I was just speaking to on the phone his name is kale and he helped me out a lot about finding it and find all the comics that I want and I just wanted to say that he is really good and its very very good customer service there.I hope this helps anybody who wants to give this place a second chance!

Super helpful staff that dont make you feel like youre wasting their time like some other local game stores I can mention. They also offer a really great trade in value for used dnd minis! Just traded in my old collection and had enough credit for 3 new table top books, two new sets of dice, and the newest dnd book. I am super happy with all aspects of my experience today.

Staff is friendly, the inventory system for singles is atrocious. I feel bad that the staff constantly have to say sorry for this. I am a MTG collector and every time I search for singles here, roughly half of the cards I put through to purchase listed in inventory are not actually here, including high dollar RL cards.I am personally done trying to find singles here as it is impossible to know what is available and what is not; I typically drive a distance to get here, their online inventory is entirely unreliable.

The staff there has always been amazing! Always been super helpful and able to give the answers when needed. They are extremely knowledgeable on the topics at the store.On the other hand play groups there especially for magic the gathering are not fun at all. The group that they host are by far the worst people I have experienced in my time of playing. (There is definitely a handful of people who dont follow under this category.)If you have any type of decent deck thats well-structured or optimized you will be probably shunned / even ignored. Thereve been several times where a group of friends and I went up there and have been completely ignored and no one acknowledged us at all even though we went to play in their local tournament. people have literally quit mid match and went to other games just to not play with us. Me being a new player myself I dont have that great of a deck at all and I have been ignored just because of being associated with better players.I think that this definitely needs to be addressed because theres a lot of potential, but the toxic community is holding back a lot of us from returning. I know a small group of us doesnt change the frequency of who is already attending regularly, but until this changes I wont have anything else positive to say about the store other than its workers.

Amazing place for family fun

This is a neat little store great for people who play magic, D&D, War Hammer, Pokemon, or even board games. Half the store is books, games, game pieces and cards. The other half of the store are tables for play and painting figurines. They have board games available for rent and drinks for while you play. Very neat and unique store. Prices competitive to Amazon.

Used to be a fun game shop. Not so much anymore.To answer the question posed by the owner in the response, its not one specific thing. It seems like magic players arent wanted at all. The young lady behind the counter was more interested in the Warhammer players and chatting with regulars than attending to a new (or in my case lapsed customer) the only time she showed interest In me was while I was selling a few cards for store credit.The store just isnt friendly to newer and inexperienced magic players and seems to not be very friendly to magic players at all.

Great local game store that I visited while traveling through Jacksonville, FL. Customer service was polite and helpful. Great board games selection, MTG, Miniature selection, and Table top Game Books selection as well.

Great friendly game store

Such a neat place! Very clean and funny staff. Theyre very knowledgeable and you can find just about any game item you may need or want. They also have drinks to purchase, for those extra long gaming sessions.

Was lied to about the business, was told through direct sms that they purchase MTG collection, I drove about an hour out of the way to be told otherwise in person.

5/5 Hands down the absolute best gaming store I have ever been too. Where do I start? Besides the amazing collection of games, you have a team of well rounded and polite employees. You have Taylor manning the front, greeting customers as they come in and wishing them well when they leave, he is very knowledgeable on the product sold in the store as well as very helpful with ordering product that is not in stock.The store is clean, well organized and if there was an empty spot on the shelf, there were no issues with getting the product ordered.One of the MANY events this location provides is D&D for beginners nights once a week. And this can range from the place being packed with other D&D campaigns or Warhammer 40K players. Friendly nerds. But to praise one nerd the most was my DM for my first ever D&D game. Mr. Christopher, take a bow. He was very friendly and patient with the group. He took suggestions the party had and helped us along our journey with his amazing story telling and quick wit. While I wish the game didnt have to end, the hours flew by with laughter and an experience I will carry with me for years to come!

People here are incredibly friendly. I was new to MTG and the kind woman there took the time to explain the game and a very clear overview of the rules and gameplay without inundating me with too much info. It was great. Definitely a place to visit.

Only heard of this place because of the Mann Shorts meet and greet. What a great haven for nerds. They got mtg packs, repacks, and singles. They got tables for warhammer and even a sweet looking painting space. Even though its a trek for me I will be back.

Stopped in today to quickly grab some card sleeves. I hate that I didn’t catch the guy’s name that helped us because he was super friendly and helpful without being pushy. The store was clean, organized and well lit. We’ll definitely recommend this place to our friends and I’m sure we’ll be back in the future.

A great place to find board games, table top games and comic books. The staff is exactly what their name says friendly but they are also helpful if they dont have a miniature that fits what your looking for they will order one for you and hold it for you. I prefer to buying here over anywhere else who sells similar things. They also host many gaming related events.

Wow the used selection of warhammer 40 k models is amazing and constantly changing. The have enough gaming tables to run several tournaments simultaneously. They have a painting and building station with lights and supplies. Tons of different games for sale and models kits for days.

Great game shop. My son and I went there and we meet Taylor, a great employee thought us the Pokemon tcg. He even gave my son a few of his own cards to fill out his deck. What a awesome staff and experience. We are customers for life.

Like the name says, it really is a Friendly Locally owned Gaming store. Board games, strategy, role playing, card games, they have everything as far as I know. Even dedicated area to paint your models and miniatures IN the store. Its worth stopping in for a few, or spending a afternoon.

So i have not gone to the location in a long time. I called ahead to make sure they were doing a pre-release event for magic.. Upon arrival there was an odor to the store, the staff was abbrasive. But that all was fine sometimes someone just has a bad day.I registered for the event and paid 10$ more then other stores for the event which was very odd. Upon the event starting we were notified the prizes were going to go to top 4. After opening packs i realized i wouldnt be able to win a very good deck it might win one or two rounds but not top 4 good..so because the prize pool was for top 4 i dropped early.Come to find out the one running the tournament was also participating in it. (He wasnt doing well). Well after last round before top for, the one who was running it calls out there has been a change prize packs are now 1 per win.This is very unprofessional and rude cause many people dropped cause they wouldnt be able to get to the top 4 so they didnt have a chance at prize so they didnt participate. Yet now they and i could have gotten packs for just getting atleast 1 win.I find it interesting that this change to the prize pool was convenient for the worker who was in the tourney. Since even though he did badly up to the last round still walked away with packs.Someone who is running an event tournament should not also be a participant.There were also people who did not get a chance to even enter and try because the staff allowed some participants to buy upwards of 4-5 entries. So people tonight 1/17/2020 and tommorow 1/18/2020 will not be able to participate in the event because staff let their friends buy in excess of kits.I would recommend anyone interested to go to other stores for any and all product.The owner and management have a sign up defending their price gouging on all their products from d&d to magic to miniatures. A small difference isnt an issue with most lgs but FLGS will charge double a products value from any other local store or online prices. The msrp on alot of products are reasonable but this store has charged 80$ for a product thats msrp was 35$ this is outrageous and it is a very common occurrence.Again to any interested i suggest you go to Vortex, Dans, or emerald dragon you will fins better pricing, better customer service and better staff. I am still appalled at how they handle issues at this location.
