I recently sold two large batches of MTG singles (1000+ Cards). 5 stars!!! Sam is a great employee and was very helpful and knowledgable. The owner came over and said hi during my first visit. Nice guy. Customers coming in and out, most known by name as they walked in.The cash prices were paid for my cards were more than fair. I was planning on selling several of the higher dollar cards on eBay, but the prices paid here beat what I could get on eBay, in many cases. Saves me so much time and energy!I’m also about to leave a one star review for a competing store, Friendly Local Game Store. This is a nice, convenient place to play games with friends. No charge to play like other local game stores. Prices for games and books is discounted. Magic card game is really big here, if youre into that.

Looks like a cool place, alot of people. Big negative is a very small buy list. What was on the list I really felt like they knocked the condition to get it cheaper. I could understand on a few but not all of what they tried to say was damaged. Probably need to expand the buy list and not try to get things cheaper. Ill try to sell again in a month or 2 but if it happens again Ill just go through other sources online. Employees were nice otherwise. When I play the buy list and condition knocking is a big factor since I mainly trade and sell cards while Im playing so I probably wont be playing here.

I’m from out of town and came here to play MTG after a work event. This place was the nicest smelling and most professional game shop I’ve been to! They had tons of people playing each event of the day, but were well organized and efficient. The prize support was awesome and they gave away playmate and special dice!Every time I’m back in Jacksonville, this is where I’m coming to play cards and games. Thoroughly impressed and with I could spread the word more places. Or let the owners know about the great staff. Hopefully they see this.

Cool Stuff has a decent collection of games. And it is easy to order online and have it delivered to the store for free shipping. I really try to support the local game stores first, but will go there if they have what Im looking for. They have a huge area for game play. The only problem I have with it (personally), is they do attract a younger crowd compared to some of the other shops. But, if that is what youre looking for, then you will love it there.

First time here. Couple of friends recommended this place since other game stores have been lacking. Was not disappointed.

We attend the Magic: The Gathering pre-release events at Cool Stuff Games on Beach Blvd. in Jacksonville every time they have one and they do a great job. They’re very organized, have a good layout and have friendly customers and employees who handle everything with courtesy and professionalism. They usually have everything in stock with Magic: The Gathering, and overall it’s a great place to hang out, play in tournaments and purchase the items we look for at more than fair and competitive prices.

Its amazing but they can add more of charcters like black or some others. Bad ice cream 3 on hudgames is great game

Good place to check out and hangout, good tournaments, enjoy checking out what they have in stock, but when comes to getting rid of cards you dont need, trying to sell them there isnt the best, better selling cards elsewhere

Usually full of people and lively. Its kind of difficult to find other people there to play board games on board game night, though. Most of the crowd is there for the concurrent card game tournaments. Their prices are board games are some of the lowest Ive seen in physical retail, though, and they sell cheap snacks and drinks.

Made a trip from Lake City to Jacksonville 75miles to sell my collection of YuGiOh trading cards because I read online that this company had good reviews. It was truly a wasted trip. I called about 5 times over the week before making the trip to make sure that I had everything in order with the cards, they were separated, organized etc. almost 4000 cards I went through adding to their buy list and putting them in order and when I got to the shop the employee stated to me that they should be in some kind of different order and that it would take him hours to get it finished. I was told that if I got to the location before 10:00 pm that they would get through all my cards and have them completed. The employee that helped me only got through like 50 cards and refused to do anymore at 11:00pm. Basically sent me home with the rest of my cards that I had priced all online for hours on their website the whole week. I asked if I could leave my cards so they could finish going through them and just send me a check and he said he wouldn’t do that. I won’t be coming back to this location and I regret making a trip over to see them at Cool Stuff Inc. I’m pretty sure I’ve received better customer service at GameStop. Keep your cards guys, don’t waste your time like I did.

This place has an impeccable selection of card sleeves. Every color you can imagine. I just wish they had MTG singles on display, they have enough floorspace for quite a few. The space for playing is a little intimidating for someone walking in-- it almost feels like walking onto a stage. But, this store does share probably the largest playing area of stores in the area.

They are easy to talk to and laid back. You can literally walk up to an employee and start talking about games or cards on the fly and theyll understand you and carry the conversation...just as if theyve been your friend for years!They have snacks and drinks for purchase with affordable prices. Prices are very cheap for practically all trading cards. Generally, pack prices are from $2.59-$2.99 depending on the set, which makes it an awesome deal.You get the packs straight from the booster box which is behind the counter, so you know customers havent tampered with the merchandise.They have a wide assortment of board/tabletop games from every conceivable genre. Its practically unmatched.The events and game nights are usually very busy. They have tons of tables to sit down, but it can get a little overwhelming when its your first time playing there.The customers are also helpful and understanding of a new players situation. You dont usually see that at game stores anymore.When you want to sell cards to them, you make a sell list on their website from their in-store computers. You receive a 4-digit code at the end step to give to them. This order number allows them to see what youre selling so they can verify the cards condition, set number, quantity etc.Sometimes I have a small hiccup with this method. They couldnt see my order two separate times after giving them the correct order number, so I had to redo it each time.Also, I check the website at home to see what cards theyre currently accepting. By the time I reach the store, the website updates their list and are not accepting some cards anymore. Its not that big of a deal considering its one to two cards at max.
