Great place to relax, friendly staff and friendly customers. Nice humidor with a very good selection, and knowledgeable staff enthusiastic about helping you find the right cigar. Very comfortable seating, good bar service, and a great location. No food available, but looked like theyre good with you bringing food in or having pizza delivered. I wouldve given 5 stars if the smoke-eater system was a little better equipped to keep the cigar fog down just a bit more, but it was manageable. This was our first time in as we are new to Jax... but we will be back.

Nice cigar selection, great bar service and reasonably priced. What more would you ask for? We enjoyed a really relaxed and comfortable Sunday afternoon here.

I have frequented island girl bar many times in my travels from North Carolina down to South Florida and back always stopping there and had good service and no problems tonight was a different deal as I walked in no one else was at the bar place had patrons sitting at tables but I was the only one at the bar , I was greeted right away ask what I wanted and I say I glass of wine and I said take your time I see your busy trying to catch up 15 minutes later still waiting and other people kept coming up and ordering drinks right in front of me and they were getting waited on, another lady that worked there went behind the bar and was pouring drinks right in front of me and saw i had nothing and didnt even acknowledge me.I guess it was a bad night but I got up slowly hoping someone would see me leaving and say something but not a word, I drove to Dave and Busters that was very busy and got waited on right away by two people with smiles!Island Girl you lost a loyal customer.....This was 3-7-2021 around 8:30...

My first visit & probably my last. Not a bad little joint and we had a really good vibe going. The good jazz music that was playing when we first walked in, the smell of the cigars I mean really had it goin. Then it all came crashing down when this guy came up with his guitar and started singing or tried to. Any hoot our vibe quickly went south. We tried to escape the screeching by going outside but the patio area is very small and cramp which I think needs to be bigger. The service was OK I just didn’t like the idea of the waitress touching our cigars and lighting them for us hell we could do that ourselves. After we finished our one drink we left. Had a much better experience at a cigar bar in Orlando than I did here

Nice big cigar lounge. Im happy because its right by my hotel. Large walk in humidor with a great selection and a full bar. Good drinks with lots of recommended pairings. I sat at the bar but they have lots of nice chairs and couches. I will be back.

Went to see my friend David who just recently started working there. I had a great time but just hearing him speak of the staff and management and how happy and comfortable he is there felt like the establishment makes you feel at home and like family. Great spot. Great selection of cigars and doesnt feel stuffy or smokey. Will go back again and again

Very relaxing cigar bar, this place has a nice atmosphere and the staff are great.

Nice calm relaxed atmosphere. Wear dark pants, you may get residue from ash on your pants. The wait staff was very cordial although they were really busy. Theres also a full bar inside which is really good.

Nice stop to relax and have a cigar. They have a fully stocked humidor with a wonderful, extensive selection of Padron, including 1964 and 1926. IG also sells humidors, lighters and all the accessories you need to enjoy a smoke. Lastly, the full-liquor bar is great! They even had Buffalo Trace and Eagle Rare.

A great place to have a cigar and or a drink. Island Girl boasts both a large well stocked humidor and a full bar. Plenty of seating area with lots of wall mounted TVs so you can keep track of your favorite team. Knowledgeable and friendly wait staff are always there to help. Outside tables are available as well. Lots of parking, fairly easy to find. I visit often.

I have recently started to smoke cigars. So this was my first trip to a cigar bar. The lounge was a great place to sit back enjoy a beer or two while I smoked. The guy at the front was a great help in showing me around the humidor and their selection of cigars. Only issues I care to mention was that the bar service was a little slow. Other than that perfect place to stop by and smoke a good cigar.

Great place, and a good variety of sticks. Advertisement shows open 1 a.m. Monday through Thursday the only thing if you get there at around 11:45pm they will rush you out and tell you theyre actually closing at 12:00am. Disappointed. The only one that wont rush you out and is willing to help you and answer your questions is Brian you can tell hes a good tobacconist. And willing to serve his customers. Location Gate Parkway

Two weeks ago, I posted this original post with a 5-star rating...Great selection. Great atmosphere. Great martini selection. Tonight, I rate them a negative 5-star rating. The young lady was upset that she had to open the humidor for us to purchase cigars. She gave lackluster assistance until she saw that we were purchasing a case. She overcharged us and got upset that I wouldnt allow her to overcharge me by $57. She fixed it by still overcharging me by $30. I was yelled at and told to, get over it. She even touched me!!! I dont know you and your hands should not be on me as youre yelling. Do NOT stay here if two young girls are working!!! They suck!

Very big humidor. Decent selection of smokes. Nice staff. Definitely can chill all day there alone or with peeps.

I joined 2 of my friends, server/bartender didnt notice me for over 20 minutes even though there was only a handful of people there. We didnt stay long after that.

Good selection and ambiance. Service is slow. I usually have to wash my clothes twice after; not sure if its a ventilation issue or just to be expected.

The servers accommodated our large party, had great service, and made sure we knew the specials. Cigar selection was good and the atmosphere was fun.

I have been a fairly regular client to IG Gate. They have a fantastic selection of cigars and spirits. The staff is friendly, and great. The cigars are slightly pricier than some, but the selection and everything else makes up for it for sure. Highly recommended.For those complaining about slow service, take your stick to the bar. They will ask what cut and what drink you want. Have a seat and they will take care of you. They are great people.

Neptune Beach location charged my card $50 hold for buying two beers. They told me they put a $50 hold on all credit cards making a purchase. 4 days have gone by and still waiting for my $50 to be released for $10 worth of drinks. Other than that the atmosphere was nice, but I’m not going back for a fee like that.

Relaxed environment to just chill and socialize with your party. They offer ample seating in plush leather armchairs with a well stocked bar and humidor with great selection. The main lounge has multiple tvs displaying all sports events going on at the time and is well ventilated even when they are busy the smoke isnt overwhelming. My only complaint is that they do not offer any food or snack items.

Cigar selection was second to none. The service was amazing! I dont remember there servers name but she was great, but the bar tender went above and beyond! Have been here many times before on trips to Jax and will continue to come back! I love this place!

They perfect place to go for a good cigar selection, drinks, and some good conversation.They do not sell food, but they do sell snacks. The staff does have an agreement with a pizza place that will deliver pizza while youre there, at a discount. Weve used that many times.They have live music from time to time, trivia night ( dont tell out the answers, that guys gets angry for that) and other cigar mfr events.

So at one time this was the place to be. But now they hire ppl who are not knowledgeable at all. And as of 2020. If you bring your own cigar they have what they call a cutting fee of $5.00. This can only be waved if you buy a drink or another cigar. Foolishness. And also the water is now $2.00. Even if you bring your own cigar. Your going to buy multiple drinks. But because they are losing business to Aromas down the street. They want to recoup thier money by making up other fees. So now I am forced to leave a place I have been coming to since 2008 And have enjoyed . Dont spend your money here Loyal customers are not appreciate here anymore .

This place is a gem. Awesome location, great service. You dont go here looking for the best deals on cigars, but its a great place for a smoke and a drink in a comfortable, air conditioned space. Ill pay full retail for a cigar or two in that setting.

Always terrible service here. I only go to this place to buy a cigar if I cant get to ABC wine. It stinks like an old stale smoke. Always go to Aromas or just smoke a stogie on the front porch of your house. I promise I will never go back.

Ive been coming here for years and they have the best selection of cigars in town. A lot of places sell cigars, but very few places put the time and effort in caring for the cigars like Island Girl. I highly recommended this place for any aficionados or anyone looking for a night out.

This location is well ventilated and has a good size humidor. The bar wait staff is attentive and come around often to check if you need more of anything.

Best cigar bar in the area

Bad ventilation. Managment needs to pay attention to what a poor atmosphere they expect customers to put up with. There are two other Island Girl Cigar Bars in town. The one on Gate is pretty dumpy. The other two are classy.
