Chic cafe-cum-cocktail bar serving Certain Feelings coffee (same ownership/restaurant group) and a simple but satisfying menu of modern, light breakfast items. The San Diego single origin (natural process, Costa Rica) was impressive on both espresso & drip, though the latter took some time to grow on me. Intimate and well-planted indoor space with a large outdoor patio.

Good coffee and experience! Nothing to over the top, and my drink had a bit too much flavor and milk to actually taste the strength of the espresso, but overall a good coffee. I would visit here on my commute. They also have drinks available in the evening, so if you’re looking for a spot to have on the way to dinner this is a good place for that. 3/5 for me.

Friendly service, great avocado toast and coffee. We sat outside on a nicely covered and clean patio. If I lived in the area this would definitely be a place I’d go regularly.

Provider, Coat Check Coffee, and Landlocked Baking Co (all under the same ownership) have been some of our favorite coffee shops in the city since we’ve moved downtown. We love that Provider has been able to stay open during this difficult time. They now offer curbside pickup with online ordering, and they’ve re-arranged the interior so that ordering in-person is safe and appropriately socially distanced. They continue to have some of my favorite lattes in town, including the pistachio and the mocha lattes. If you haven’t been here in awhile, you’ll find a big change on the interior but the same delicately made, beautifully tasty coffees and friendly faces.

Golden milk latte is the BEST I have ever had. I live in northern Illinois and always crave Provider’s GML. I can’t find any other one even nearly as good as theirs 😭

Coffee is ok, nothing special. Also an unsweetened iced matcha costs $9 which is just outrageous. I much prefer other local shops

The ginger drink I ordered was way too sweet. The flavors were there but simply over sweetened. Wouldve liked to be offered the option to lighten the sweetness. Also, all indoor seating has been eliminated and what used to be a great space is now a great waste of space. Would really like it to go back to the old space and mark on the menu items that are already sweetened to the max.

Wonderful coffee and food! The ginger latte is perfect even if you don’t enjoy ginger they do an excellent job of balancing the flavor. The mango masala toast is so good, definitely worth checking out downtown.

Love this place and Coat Check Coffee by the same owners. Ginger latte, tried iced for the first time, was fantastic as always. At first I didnt know if I should eat my avocado toast or frame it and hang it in my living room, but Im delighted to say it was delicious and Im exploring other, less perishable options for wall art.

The Colbert Lemonade (Cold Brew Lemonade, but please Provider, feel free to name this beautiful concoction after the beautiful man that is Stephen Colbert) was like a good first date; everything you need it to be. Bold yet refreshing, sweet yet tangy, smooth yet rugged, brass yet refined, I could go on. Get it please. And get any boujee latte thing when its colder out. Butterscotch latte is my rec.

A cool place with great people and great food and drinks. A long way from Miami but we would definitely stop back in when we are in town.

The food and drinks were great! I got this amazing drink and a mug of their pumpkin soup. Atmosphere is great. The only reason the review isn’t five stars is because a couple of the baristas were really mean. One in particular kept rolling her eyes when I would approach the counter for service, and I really don’t know why. When I asked for water, she directed me to the water bottle filling station. It was weird.So good food, drinks, and atmosphere, but with a rather mean staff. Still recommend it!

Just amazing.I headed here on a recommendation and will always take recommendations from that person going forward.The quality ingredients and care in every coffee they make is so evident in the final product. We tried the Pistachio Latte, the Ginger Latte, an Americano and their Ginger Beer. It was all unlike anything Id tried before. So fresh, so unique.I ALMOST wish I lived in Indiana.

Fave Indianapolis chill place!! Friendly folks, hipsters both young and old, meeting spot, relaxed and great food! Was in Indy on business and so glad I discovered this spot. Day one I had the Biscuit Sandwich with egg, sausage and (YUMMY!!) jalapeño jam!! Soooo good! Day two had Bacon and Cheddar Frittata with arugula salad with lightest of light simple dressing of lemon juice and salt. It...was...perfect!! I could have eaten that salad all day! Yummy coffees and the colored drink is Oat Matcha Latte with a Tumeric Ginger reduction and sprinkled with hibiscus powder. I had just the right amount of a little spicy heat to it. Ross and Mike took amazing care of us. What a great friendly group of people and amazing food and coffee pros!

ACCESSIBILITY: 3 or 4 accessible parking spaces in front of building with a ramp to get into coffee space. Small lip to get through door. Did not see an accessible door button on outside of building to get through two sets of double doors. Has elevator to get to 2nd floor, which currently has large tables spread out for social distancing. 2nd floor has gendered bathrooms but forgot to go inside to see accessibility of restrooms (I’m sorry! Will update review the next time I go!). Most of downstairs is currently closed so will review that area the next time I’m in while that is open.Please reach out if you know of any accessibility features I’m unaware of.

Provider has a warmth and familiarity that feels like your oldest friend — you’re welcomed the same no matter if you’re a regular or a first-timer.I love that they feature local products, like Tinker Coffee and Circle City Kombucha. The food menu isn’t huge, but what they do offer covers just what you need for breakfast and lunch, plus it’s always delicious. This fall, I discovered the pumpkin yogurt parfait. Phenomenal!My favorite time of day to visit is in the mornings, when the sun is shining through their huge windows and it fills their space with warmth and light. The outdoor patio is also a perfect spot for a coffee meetup or drinks with friends after work.Although it’s a bit off the city’s beaten paths, Provider is well worth the trip.

Coffee was amazing and i had gotten the avacado blt which was pretty good, I can say the coconut bacon was a tad over bearing which kinda put a damper on the toast but the ingredients were fresh. I would say less coconut bacon to actually let all the ingredients blend better together. But overall good place!

Waited over 20 minutes after ordering online while outside & scanning their QR Code. The receipt page on the website said that the order would be ready in 5 minutes.The barista said you still have to tell them that you’re there, or they don’t start the order. No, that’s not in the instructions on the order page, or on the paper on the door with the QR code. Very misleading when the receipt page says it will be ready in 5. I saw later that the instructions were in the receipt that was emailed to me - doesn’t make sense why they wouldn’t have those instructions on the door, and on their website after you order as well. Why would I check for instructions on an email receipt, when the website receipt said ready in 5 minutes?

Love love love. Only started going here for less than four months ago and I’m obsessed. You can find me here at least once a week! I love the latte options like iced pistachio or a hot butterscotch. They also have beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages. Their food menu is small but taste fresh. It’s a smaller coffee shop and can be busy but service is still good. The baristas are friendly and great on engaging with the customers.

The coffee is great, but only offering one size of 10oz really makes it impossible to enjoy fully. I’ve never seen an Americano come in just one size anywhere else.If it’s one size and you’re putting just one shot in it, that’s extremely steep at $3.50. If you’re putting two shots in then that’s almost like serving straight espresso at that portion.Like I said your roast is great, but the sizing will put a lot of people off. Even if your just adding water it makes the drink go further.

I hardly ever write reviews good or bad for anything, but today I had a pastry so good that I will write a potentially lengthy gushing review. I got the passion fruit basket which is essentially a croissant with multi-fruit filling. I bought it intending eat just half because I have diabetes. But after the first bite I knew I was going to eat the whole thing. The crunchy buttery texture and flavor of the pastry was literally sublime, probably the best pastry Ive ever put in my mouth. And the fruit filling perfectly balanced sweetness and tartness with a full spectrum of fresh fruit flavors. And without creating any sogginess whatsoever. You must eat this pastry.

The brunch nachos are my favorite! Provider has amazing vegan food that never disappoints.

Ginger latte, be still my heart. I love the atmosphere, the decor, and the fact that the staff know me and my drink. Would recommend to anyone for a date spot, time with friends, or someone trying to get some reading done. They encourage interconnection and conversation with their no laptop rule for weekend hours, which is amazing. The patio in the summer is lovely. I keep coming back for more!

Just finished lunch here and working for almost 2 hours outside needed to use the restroom went to the door they were locked I asked the barista if I could go to use the restroom he said no we’re closed what a horrible customer service is this I would not choose to have or eat or drink here again. The guys customer service was terrible it was 382021 at 2:20 PM p.m.

First time visitor to Provider recently. Loved my iced ginger latte. But the staff was not friendly, the person that took my order helped the two people ahead of me, then walked away without assisting me. Waited for a few minutes to finally place my order, then waited a long time for my beverage.

Pleasant place with the bar, coffee shop & restaurant feeling all together. Really nice. Now if I could find a power outlet near any wall. NOT A SINGLE 1 for customer use. If you want anyone to spend more per visit then an investment on outlets would be optimal.

I have come to Provider many times for the great atmosphere, food, and drinks. This morning, I went there to read and have a few drinks. After drinking my coffee, I was asked to leave because I was reading a Kindle... I explained that this was just a book, but I was asked to leave anyway. I would like mgmt to understand how frustrating this is, especially as there were many others writing in notebooks and using phones. I was only there for about 35 minutes and was about to order a cocktail.I understand not allowing laptops and tablets, but e-readers too? I wish I could say that Ill be back, but I wont be.From now on, Ill go to Quills and Calvin Fletchers, which have been very welcoming. Hopefully e-readers are allowed again

INDY! This is a spot I would recommend to travelers coming to our city. This place is so much more than a latte-to-go. This is a full experience. Check out their First Fridays and some of their pop-up events ( I follow them on Instagram to keep up). They have fresh food and great drinks. I like their Kombucha on tap with their grilled cheese- YUM. They encourage social interaction and human connection. On the weekends, they do have no laptop hours posted. They offer milk substitutes for their creations. Very cool spot.

Really nice place. Its a fairly upscale coffee shop/bar/sandwich shop. Prices arent cheap, but I dont think they were unreasonable, considering the setup. My iced latte & sandwich were about $15 & my cocktail was $10. Theres a decent amount of indoor seating & a large patio outside. If I lived in the area, I would definitely go there regularly.

Delightful oasis next to the Monon Trail. Housed in a beautiful historic building, with a comfortable outdoor seating area. The variety of drinks offered is refreshing, with creative mixes and adventurous options. The service was friendly and fast, and everything we ordered was delicious. Plenty of non-dairy options, and a clean and comfortable environment.

They apparently have a no laptops after 7pm rule.I walked in at 6:45pm with a backpack on my shoulders and ordered a beer from the bar. As soon as I sat down and opened my laptop they tell me about the 7pm rule AFTER I had already ordered a beer.I took the beer, which I had two sips of, back up to the bar and closed out since the whole reason I went there was now pointless. They were happy to charge me $7 for the beer though.Point being, don’t come here evenings if you’re planning on working from a laptop.Thanks for the heads up 🤷‍♂️

One of the best shops in the city for coffee and atmosphere. I have enjoyed every coffee/coffee drink Ive ordered. Comfortable seating and when the weather is nice, a neat view of downtown. Limited seating is a bummer, but I applaud the recent laptop policy! I hope the grumblesmurfs see the wisdom and understand the why. Keep up the fantastic work!

Perfection most of the time, recently I was told they cant make a cappuccino with amaretto. but they can put it on the side. sorry we cant make anything that is not on the menu for quality control thats such bs. if I ask for vodka soda they arent going to give it to me? part of the joy of a coffee/bar is mixing the two. such a shame.

One of my top 3 cafes in the city! The drinks are imaginative and delicious, the BLT is perfect for lunch, and the environment is cozy and inclusive. Yes, its $5 for a specialty latte but it worth it. Also all the baristas are really cool and friendly.

Based on the reviews, I traveled some distance here to enjoy the coffee and get some work done. Paid $5 for an Americano with an extra shot, only to be told I couldnt use my laptop. Was offered a to-go cup, but being on a Lime scooter, I had to walk away. Im out five bucks. The one sip I took was great, though.

So safe for COVID stuff and always delicious.

The cold brew is outstanding! My wife had an iced Ginger Latte that was one of the best drinks she’s ever had. Lots of outdoor seating and located next to the monon trail makes this a great stop during a bike ride!

The best coffee shop / bar in Indy. A combination of great coffee (Tinker), tasty food items, and an unbeatable ambiance all attribute to making this place beat all others. A great location to meet a friend or do some reading, the varied seating options (including a huge patio) do not disappoint. Id highly suggest to anyone and everyone.

Nice ambiance, clever and original menu items, good cocktail and coffee mix. Some nice food items as well. Clientele is a little obnoxious, a little high-key. Outdoor area is pleasant.

Happy to hear that new policies have been put in place to encourage purchases, customer turnover, and a restoration of this space to an actual coffee shop instead of a co-working space. Haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, but heard good things! Nice work!Update 12/31: this is officially a co-working space with no membership fees. As such, it’s packed with people working remotely all day (and probably not buying much of anything). I have attempted to come here 4-5 times since my initial review. 3 of those times there was absolutely no parking so I left. The two times I miraculously found a parking spot in the overflow lot I went in and there was absolutely nowhere to sit. I’m no coffee shop owner, but I’m guessing having the same 30 people sit in your place of business all day long and causing paying customers like myself to turn around at the door is kinda bad for business.Cool spot, cool employees, and great drinks, but they don’t turn over enough customers throughout the day, so it quickly ends up packed with literally no room to sit. Parking and seating are very limited and multiple times that I’ve tried to swing by there was none of either. Not a great place if you’re planning on meeting up with more than 1 person. It’s a shame they don’t have more space to work with.
