Models to look at. Salesman was low key. Main issue, get qualified for financing of price to know your spending ceiling. Consult one of theirs or find your own Chattel loan officers.

So excited to be moving in to our first brand new home. I had the pleasure of being helped by Omar and he was great. He never made us feel pressured into buying or signing anything. Omar was always upfront and honest about everything. He always kept us grounded and was very attentive to our needs and concerns. I was skeptical at first and thought they would try to just make money off of me, but they proved me wrong. Omar took his time with us and was very patient. He answered all our questions and never gave ua the run around. I will definitey be referring others to Clayton and look forward to upgrading in a couple of years. Thanks Omar and Clayton Homes!!!

To each their own BUT for us, the experience has been awesome! David helped us and guided us through the application process, etc. My husband never had a problem reaching out to him and always had the answers to our questions. He was such an outgoing person that it made the whole home buying process not so terrifying. Thanks David! My sister-in-law had recently purchased a home through Clayton Homes and HIGHLY recommended them to us since we were tired of renting and really wanted something bigger and better. They work really fast so that was good! I would recommend to my family and friends!

They dont even deserve the one star,but had to put one in order to post this review.WARNING DONT BUY FROM THIS LOCATION!!!!This by far has been the worst customer service and poor communication place ever.Husband and I were warned about this place,but still decided to give it a chance. Yes it was easy to apply and all that, but once you give your your money to them on the closing date they out of nowhere forget about you and dont even bother to contact you after that to know of any updates on whats going on with YOUR ALREADY HOME!They just want their money thats it!Never again purchasing a home from them! We are really dissatisfied with their service. Just look at the other reviews, you will see that we are not the only ones giving the bad review and or lying about their service.

Walked around the lot looking at homes. No one bothered to assist. Walked in the office and stood at the reception window and no one assisted. Went to the location off of 288 and got the service I deserved

So y’all remember when I was complaining about my defected roof on my 2 year old home? Here’s the damages caused by the defect, plywood was separated about 1 inch from the other, some plywood not even nailed or barely even had nails holding it down. Rotten plywood all on the front edge. Clayton Homes didn’t want to pay for the damages because I had to go through my extended warranty, which is HomeFirst Agency, Inc. okay.. so I TRIED, but apparently they don’t cover consequential damage. But my point is, had there not been a defect on the home in the first place, and if it were properly inspected before selling, then there would have been NO consequential damage! All I was asking them was to pay the cost of the damages, which was about $3,000 to fix the roof! It ended up coming out of OUR pocket because both Clayton Homes & Home First we’re going back and forth on who had to freaking pay. Come to find out Home Forst was telling Clayton in their report that the blame was on our front porch. Our front porch isn’t even attached to the house whatsoever and still doesn’t have the shingles put on for it to have caused the damage! The damages started way before the porch was added! I’m just telling y’all to stay away from these mobile home companies. As a young couple with our first kid on the way, we didn’t really know how or who to talk to about buying an actual house. We ended up looking at mobile homes because we already had land so it was “easier” since we got it with no down payment. It’s a lesson learned of course. I just don’t understand how a company can be so greedy to not want to fix their own mess ups. I’m ready to move to another place that’s for sure. But thank God, and a big HUGE thank you to Diaz Roofing Inc. here in Angleton for being such a huge help and getting the roof fixed for us. Great and humble people that actually care for their customers and take pride in their work.

Do not buy from this company. !! they did everything in a hurry . One of our windows doesn’t even lock properly. The main restroom bathtub was not even put on properly and had a leakage that was going thru the floor and started to wet the carpet in the room which started to cause some molding. We had to get our own repair man to come fix this problem.

This started out as a wonderful home buying experience but once the purchase was completed my husband and I felt like we were not a priority. Clayton recommended a contractor to us who was always trying to get extra money out of my husband on top of the 180,000 loan we took out. When he voices his concerns he is treated like an angry black man. I wont bore you with too many details but lets just say we closed last may and we still havent moved in our home. I would never reccomend someone to use Clayton Homes or the contractors they suggest to use.

Absolutely great sales... Terrible quality Ive had my $130,000 modular home for 4 years and it is literally falling apart and the roof never stops leaking weve talked with Clayton homes and the warranty people who we have through Clayton homes and they say there is nothing they can do for us.... Do not recommend!!!!!

Treated me well on the house I got from them.

We called prior to making the 45 minute drive to their office to make sure they had a lot available in our area. The man said absolutely, that wouldnt be a problem. So we get there and I asked again so you have lots in our area, right? Because thats what the guy on the phone said. Evan the dealer said oh dont worry about it well take care of that, well find you a lot for the trailer. We filled out all the paperwork and got approved then 3 weeks later he starts to tell us that we need to help him look in our area because he has nothing!!!! So my hubby and I talked about it for a couple of days and decided to buy a house instead. He called to get our deposit refunded and Evan said we cant do it without your debit card since thats how you paid. So my husband drove all the way there for Evan to just say oh hey, sorry man, forgot to tell you that our computers are down, youll have to pick up a check for the refund, not this Friday but next.My suggestion for anyone looking to do business with these liars is to NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!FYI: trailers decrease in value every year and houses usually increase.Also, the company they use to finance through is terrible, their reviews on line are awful. Its called Vanderbilt. Look it up! And their inquiry definitely affected our credit negativily.

They are a bunch of liars to get your money. Once they have it they dont care one bit about anything. I would not trust them. A few people tried to tell me not to go to this location and of course I didnt listen. The only regret I have is not going through another location! Highly disappointed!!! If I could give less than 1 star I would!UPDATE: I called Drex like he asked (to make it look good on here ) and still the stuff he personally promised a year ago is still not done! There are people sueing because of the same issues Im having and its very common apparently with this location. Believe me I have been really looking into it and I no longer deal with them over the phone and print out my emails. This is ridiculous that Im having to do this on a home that I paid so much money for!

If I could give them 0 I would. Terrible place to buy a home. I had a bad experience with them, if I could go back I would had looked at other places. The only reason we bought the mobile home with them was because the trailer park only does business with them. They won’t allow other companies but if you tell them that it’s a Clayton home all of the sudden they have room. We bought a mobile home the beginning of December 2017 , we kept being pressured on buying it and we didn’t have all the money. So when we finally bought it, it wasn’t brought to the parking lot 2 weeks later. I thought because of the holidays they were being late. It was January that it still wasn’t finished. I had already got a contract with the light company and water. For some reason the light wasn’t working , I called Clayton and the light company and none of them knew what was going on. It took about 4 days to realize that when they were setting up the mobile home someone accidentally cut the wire of the light that goes to to a box outside. On top of that we didn’t have water. After 2 weeks we still had not moved in. Well that’s when out neighbors got the parking next to us. They moved in 2 weeks after their mobile home got set up. We had a month and still not living there. We end up moving in late January. So they told us we had warranty for 5 years. EVERYTIME they send one of their “ workers” to fix some they screw some else. And don’t get me started with Jennifer she is the one that sends the people out to “Fix”. She tells you that she is going to send someone to fix the problem and when they get here they don’t know what the hell they are doing! My wall got messed up after a leak in the shower. I called her and she told me I didn’t have warranty I asked her how if we had 5 years and she told me it was another kind of warranty. No one told me anything. We looked in our contract and nothing. So she decided that she was going to cover it. Man I should of just hired someone. They messed up the handle where I turn the water on. I didn’t even have hot water. The floor was so wet and the wall. Turns out that she isn’t going to change the carpet! Only the wall. I don’t know how long it was leaking bcs I’m only home in the morning and work all afternoon so does my husband. My water bill came pretty high that month. The thing is they are terrible! They don’t care about the issues. I’m pretty sure the contractors they have don’t know how to do the job. My husband was warned about Clayton by many people at work. The reason we bought the home was because we are married and with a child and we needed our own space. So i really would recommend for someone that’s looking for a home to check other places.
