Great Service and Pricing. My wife and I were looking for a washer and decided to try Appliance Smart. When we walked in we were very impressed with the layout. It feels like you are there to get a good deal but still is clean, well lighted and full of inventory. We were immediately helped and felt she was knowledgeable and helped us find the LG set that was right for us. The pair was on sale and I checked online to find their prices were about 25% under retail.Where it gets better is the service. I have a gas and electric outlet and originally purchased electric. After talking to some friends I decided Gas would be best. I called the DAY before delivery and they were able to switch out the dryers and switch the door side opening on the dryer.The delivery drivers were friendly and very careful while removing the old and installing the new set. We are very happy with our service during the sale and more importantly after.

I have bought from ApplianceSmart many times and each time I do it has been a wonderful experience. The assistant manager at the new Hopkins location, Tim Frisbee, is a great help and very knowledgeable. I always do a price comparison when shopping and no one has ever beat ApplianceSmart. Plus, I have never had issues when calling for assistance or when I needed service. Not sure what happened with the other reviewers, but I have always had a great experience there.

I would give ApplianceSmart zero stars if I could. I purchased my appliances on October 12 and my salesperson George assured me theyd arrive within 2 weeks. Two weeks passed and I never received a phone call. I called on week 3 and they said they couldnt give me an ETA. Called again on week 4 and they said the ETA was November 26. At five weeks they claimed the appliances arrived. I called three times between November 16 and November 21 trying to get delivery dates. They could not provide delivery dates any of these times and kept on telling me to call back in another day or two. I was fed up by this time and did not trust the vendor so on November 21, I asked the vendor to cancel the order. The vendor issued a return invoice and claimed I would see the refund to my credit card within 24-48 hours. Its now been six days and I have not seen the refund amount hit my account. I spoke to my bank and they confirmed they see no evidence that a refund was submitted. I called the ApplianceSmart manager and he claimed there was nothing he could do to help me. I have now initiated a credit card dispute and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I found the exact appliances at Lowes for the same price and with free delivery and wish Id gone through Lowes. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Ive had better experiences when Ive gone to the Eden Prairie store. I paid for hoses for my washer and dryer and they forgot to give them to me. I never went back to let them know. The last time I was there they didnt have the range I saw on the floor and wanted to buy in stock. The signage at the entryway isnt great either. I drove past it the first time I tried to find it. The sales people didnt seem overly knowledgeable either.

I have always had good luck and good deals from here. 1st refrigerator lasted over 20 years and it is still working but just decided to upgrade. The stove and dishwasher we got are still going strong.

We bought a total of 5 appliances here recently. There is no doubt in my mind that Appliance Smart didnt make money as some of the deals were insane. $800 fridge for $300 type deals. The transaction wasnt without issue, thats why I am writing this review. The stainless steel dishwasher that we basically stole from them for $200 did not initially work, I contacted service after closing and was replied to at the start of the day the next business day. Someone came out in just a few days and diagnosed the problem, it would be need a whole new motor. No run around, no you paid $200 for this, what did you expect? They replaced the part without incident and they did it in the most decent and respectful manner I could imagine. Anyone can come off as good with no problems. It was when Appliance Smart had to deal with a problem that they showed their true colors. 10/10, wouldnt shop anywhere else.

This place is horrible.First: They said they would deliver the appliance between the incredibly long window of 2:30pm to 7:30pm - they didnt show up until almost 8pm.Second: The brand new washing machine didnt work.Third: When the repairman did come he waited about two minutes out front and left a we missed you note on the front door. Didnt bother to call my cell phone, though he had the number and communicated with me all morning with it.Fourth: Said they wouldnt come back until the next day to repair after I already left work to meet him.Horrible experience. They can deliver way outside of their five hour window, but wont service their broken products if you miss them by literally two minutes. Go to a business that has good service - well worth it.

They dont answer the phone. You either get voicemail or put on hold over 10 minutes. I am not sure how long they leave youon hold. 10 minutes over 2 times was my maximum. Beware of buying damaged appliances. I purchased a fridge with dents on the side. Had over 7 repair calls before the manufacturer would replace it. I guess the manufacturer isnt aware of them selling damaged goods or they have some sort of deal going on with them. Now have not had a fridge for over 2 weeks, had to throw out hundreds of dollars in food and several stomache issues before I finally figured out fridge temp was 41 degrees. Not worth the few bucks saved. BEWARE of this company.

I CALLED SPOKE TO BRUCE/BRICE TOLD ME THAT they had a up right freezer drive 95 miles to pick up the freezer, guess what I get there they have nothing , I had one sales person helping us some other customers come in and he leaves goes and helps them like we were some piece of chop liver. Then Mr smart alick Jason comes and ill help them he did POO. This store is worthless

Tried calling to get service and was on hold for about five minutes. Not a big deal. But when the person answered, before I could say hello, she hung up. So I called back and went through the same hold and then dumped into voice mail. I tried a different store - only got voicemail. I am now taking my business elsewhere.If you guys read these reviews, and by the looks of it you dont, but if you do, you break just about every rule in customer service. When people want to give you some of their hard earned money, you should treat them well.

Purchased four items on 2nd, one that was in stock at Hopkins. I stopped back on the 10th, to check on my stuff and only one of the three items shipping had arrived. Annoying since I was told it was in stock around the Twin Cities, but I was assured they were on their way from warehouses either in WI or IA that hold more inventory. I stopped back on the 14th asked to speak to manager, I was told it was probably too late on a Friday, so I waited until Monday for a call back. Never received a call back. Went back to store on the 19th, I’m told by original salesmen that because I ordered a new item it takes longer. He looks it up and ApplianceSmart doesn’t even inventory it yet, so it was never on its way as they’ve never had it. I try to call a manager a few days later, the manager has the salesmen call me back. A month later these items that were on their way, had never even been in stock. I canceled order on remaining items that I hadn’t already installed in our kitchen.I had great luck with scratch/dent items here but if you’re ordering new, get exact ship dates. We were told a week about maybe two including delivery. We found out even after it’s in stock, delivery would have taken another week. Better luck to you, sucks to have something in our backyard be such a letdown.

They totally failed to deliver a new gas range to my town home!...Then they jerked me around for over a week having me try to contact their delivery partner MX-D (never was able to talk to a real person there)...I finally cut them a new one by contacting Visa!Ive had a few problems with merchants, but this one is NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!

I bought an entire kitchen set from Champlin from Rich LaPlant. That was not a good experience, he seemed to be frustrated the whole sale. when the delivery guys came, it was noticed there were significant scratches and dents on the front that were not noted. I sold my previous appliances on Craigslist so I am not without a refrigerator due to this until I get a new one. When we talked to Rich he did not own the mistake or seem to care much to find a solution.After the delivery guys left and were returning the damaged refrigerator to Champlin I went to the Hopkins location. We worked with Scott Pugsley and he was spectacular. He was kind, patient, heard the concerns and frustrations then did his best to right the situation. It was so appreciated that he owned the problem and helped us, and tried to expidite delivery due to being without a fridge now.

Im leaving a one star because no stars is not an option. I went to this location and picked out a washer. I was promised I could pick it up in two weeks and would receive a phone call. Two weeks passed, no call. So I called trying to see what was going on. I was told two more weeks and would receive a call. Same. I called in two weeks after that and still no explanation for why my washer wasnt in. Save yourself the hassle. Buy from someone else.
