My phone was dying. Quick update. Got offloaded and backed up before it died. One issue: Kamana said he would give me a car charger for free since I had bought two accessories and the phone. I got home and discovered there was $36 I didnt need to spend. That sucked for a fixed income retiree and for working folks, 3 extra hours to work. Otherwise he was very helpful.

I stopped by the Verizon in Hollister today and got great service from Luis. He helped me with some issues with my old phone and helped me pick out the best new phone for me. I am very pleased with the service and professionalism i received today and will be telling everyone to go see this store and Luis for all things Verizon. The rest of the people were very friendly and the service was fast. Most phone stores, it takes forever to get seen them hours getting a new phone. Not here, they took very good care of me. One of the best experiences I have ever had at a phone store.

Let me start off by saying I had originally written a horrible review while waiting in line since me and 4 other people were waiting for about an hour and no one, not one person acknowledged us with even a Hey, well be right with you. Two more people walked in and out while we were waiting and also never got acknowledged.My long, original rant got deleted when I accidentally backed out of the review.However, my day was saved when a young lady by the name of Haley (I believe) went above and beyond to help me resolve my issue (which she couldve easily passed me on to over the phone support)I dont know where she stands on the management ladder but if she isnt up there already, I highly suggest they consider that.Only 3 stars because the customer service couldve been a lot better by just acknowledging and assuring the people waiting that we would be seen soon.But without the help of Haley it wouldve easily been a 1 star.

My phone started going haywire at 7:30 at night. I showed up at the Verizon store 5 before 8:00 not sure if they would help because they were just about to close. Not only did they help me but they went above and beyond. Tyler is the regional manager and he was the one that helped me. He was able to save everything on my old phone and transfer it plus get me set up with the new phone and showed me how to use my new phone since it was so different than my old phone. I didnt leave until 9:40 and they were still helping another customer when I left. I cant say enough great things about them.

On 9/6/20 I bought a iPhone 11 in Watsonville. The Verizon store sold it to me said its easy to activate and transfer my information from my old phone. They have a hands off policy due to Covid. They wont touch your phone, meaning they wont help you! On 9/7/20 I went to the Verizon store in Hollister, as I couldnt get my phone to activate, with the limited information I had received the day before. I walked in and was met by Isabel Villagomez she was the most helpful and understanding employee my wife and I have met in a long time. She got my phone working in a short period of time. I then purchased a iPhone 11 for my wife based on her knowledge and helpful nature.

Bad follow up and unprofessional reps. Take your business to a corporate store or Costco. Wont buy from this place ever again. Long time Verizon customer for over 18 years and this store couldnt deliver. They dropped the ball and I had to call *611 and be with them for an hour and didnt get resolved, then had to an actual corporate store after still. Dont blame the pandemic for bad service or hubris rude reps.

I went to Verizon in Hollister to get the new Note20 Ultra, with the Active2 watch. From beginning to end, the customer service was excellent from Destined Daniels. I came back a couple days later to learn how to program my watch and Destinee quickly showed me how to operate it and it works for me the way I need it, being handicap♿ and all.But I highly recommend going to Verizon, they make everything Simple, Fast and Understandable. All the time

They had only 10 phones on display or so and the first four I asked for were not In stock .but that wasnt the bad service. when I walked in we signed in .two reps were busy . 2 were not . was had to wait about 20 minutes or at least it felt like it . another customer walked in . no mask walked to a person not doing anything and got service immediately . after awhile getting agitated I followed their rules and was having my time wasted I noticed the store is way too big for so little staff, apparently cant handle 4 customers at once .the rep that did help told me there was no way to get a phone I wanted and activated right then and there. For under 700 (i was having a work emergency and work had sent me to go buy a phone that wasnt a smartphone and was on the Verizon network , just to protect a property out in the mts ) i left . went to target bought a actual verizon phone 45 dollars 10 dollar SIM and 40 dollar activation . 95 dollars plus tax in and out of the store and activated faster than the time I spent here waiting to be turned away. Lets hope this is a results may vary case . Ill never personally return

Outstanding customer service!I came in to the Verizon store because my phone was not sending pictures and Steven help me. He answered the questions I had and took a look at my account for me. To my surprise, I was eligible to upgrade my phone! So not only did I get a new, better phone, he was also able to lower my bill for me! UPDATE: 6/ 14/19I needed help with my phone again. I believe the store manager helped me this time. Again the service was amazing and so fast, even with a software system not working(out of their control) I was still able to have what services I needed help with completed. This team is great, thank you for saving the day again!----------------------------------------------------------------Hayley is the absolute best! I have had trouble with my phone for months and she spent over two weeks helping me to find the solution to the problem. She is friendly, caring, and determined to help the customer with whatever their needs are. I hope I dont have to go back anytime soon for my phone however when I do I know I will return here and make sure Hayley is the one to assist me. Thank you again for helping me figure out the fix for my phone.

I went to this store on Oct 4. 2018 to have a phone exchange transferred to newer phone. Danielle waited on me. She was so patient, friendly, and Senior approved. It took quite awhile, but she never made me feel rushed. I so appreciate her, knowing sales are very important. I hope the store manager appreciates her as much as I did. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced from Luis! unprofessional. Lied to me throughout the whole process. I was suppose to be on a bogo deal buy one get one free. He ended up not putting me on the Bogo deal and put me on a higher plan than he promised, also charged me for a third line I never had. Specifically told him no add ons twice and put it on my plan anyways. Went into the store to figure it out and some lady didn’t want to do her job at all she kept saying call 611, and when I asked her for her supervised she instantly wanted to help and she just told me what I wanted to hear, also lied about everything. Very bad customer service from them both, They are not trustworthy!.

The folks that work here are really great. I walked in as soon as they opened and was looking to get a lot accomplished in a very short time frame. They jumped on the task and really helped me out.The store is clean, well set up and that staff is well informed. They also go the extra mile to make sure you are fully satisfied before leaving. I recently had the best experience here with Steven the manager. He was very helpful on my recent visit to just get help setting up some phones I ordered online and didnt even buy from Verizon. The fact that he took the time to transfer all of my data and showed me how to use my new phone and I dient even buy it there says alot about the level of service here. He also got me a great deal on accessories for the phones and showed me all of the discounts I qualified for on my plan. The other staff there were very helpful as well and since I was in there for a little while while my data moved to my new phone, I watched as all of the other associates we very nice and helpful to each customer that came in. I would rate the service at this store 10 stars if I could ! I will defenatly buy my next phone here as they showed me quotes with diffrent phones and discounts I qualified for and they didnt even have to. Best Verizon store I have ever been to.

Told me he was going to “send me a refund check” for promised waived activation fees.The old “checks in the mail” technique.Sure enough, no check. Started with Verizon representative Cess. She is an awesome agent, knowledgeable about the products, set me up with the phone of my choice, made sure I got any discounts available, allowed me to go to dinner while she transferred data from my shattered phone to the new one and answered every one of my questions. Next morning, I encountered a few new issues/questions and Verizon representative Joaquin was just as professional and helpful. Look, phones arent cheap but at least these guys are helpful, informed and very courteous to their clients.

I wrote an unfavorable review on 12/30/19 and it appears to have been taken down.I purchased a Bogo deal from Tim M on Black Friday and was promised 3GB, and $400. In gift cards for switching carriers. The next day I was told by Tim M, no Bogo, and no $400 in gift cards. I felt somewhat trapped because they would not return my old phone to me.After spending several more hours in the store, I was told I would get the Bogo but no $400 in gift cards. The store manager Thomas C said he would take off the $40 pp activation fees and he put that in writing.After speaking with customer care I found out that Verizon does not even have a 3gb plan and I needed to pay more for data and pay the activation fees on my bill or lose service. I would have to get the promised fees back from the store.I have visited the store with my written promise from the manager, called and spoke to Thomas C. on 12/21/19 and he said check is in the mail. As of today 1/11/19 still nothing.My experience makes me suspect that all of the glowing reviews are not real

Ive been with this Verizon store since it opened. Ive always gotten excellent customer service. My son came in from SC where the salesman wouldnt even talk to him about the prepaid plans. He was sold a plan that was too expensive and it took them 2 hours to activate the phone. We went in here and with in a short period of time they explained the prepaid plan, activated his phone, gave him the sim card for free and told him to call customer service for a refund on the other plan. Now he and his wife have service and a data plan for both of them that costs less than what the other guy sold them. Kudos Hollister Verizon!

Not happy at all. I went in to buy a Jetpack and they sold me three-generation old technology - a model thats listed as no longer available on the Verizon website. Fortunately a friend pointed this out to me. The store manager claimed that hed never heard that, and that the old model is better than the new one. They agreed to sell me the newest model, of which they only had one in stock. Weirdly, it wasnt even in Verizon packaging, and it also didnt work when they tried to set it up, so I didnt buy it. The one good thing I can say about my experience is that they ultimately accepted my return, however begrudgingly.

I went into the Verizon store in Hollister to check on an insurance claim I had made at the Gilroy store. An employee was able to go into my account and come to find out the last representative never even ordered my phone. I was extremely frustrated, but Citlali was so helpful and patient through out the whole process that she ended up convincing me to upgrade my phone because it was better in the long run. Great customer overall and I would highly recommend going to this store not gilroy.

Told the gentlemen 3 times the partial amount of the bill I wanted to pay. Let him know that it was full amount and he stated it was showing what I owed and not how much I was paying. The staff is always very helpful and pleasant and go out of their way to try and resolve your problems.I take it all back! I went in today because my phone was not taking a charge. The guy who I got, unfortunately, went in the back with my phone for a second. When he returned he said the charge portal was damaged and it would cost about 200. I said Did you check it? He stuttered and evaded the question. He said I could get a new phone. I got this phone in Oct. I said could it be the battery? He said he couldnt replace it and it would cost $250. or I could get a new phone. My bs tolerance hit the roof. I left and came back and saw another guy who told me he would put it on the charger and get rid of the Apps. When I came back my phone miraculously was fine, no charge. Unfortunately Verizon has at least one LIAR on staff, unexceptable!

Ok so let me explain my situation - I switched my mothers line from a business account she had to my personal account. I wanted to upgrade her phone (android to apple) so thats what I went to go do. Two weeks ago I went into the Verizon store in San Jose - they said because it was a a contract that priced the phone at a low rate they couldnt NOT terminate the contract - EVEN IF I PAID FOR IT. Mind you the contract is over next month. It just didnt make any damn sense to me. They Said I either had to WAIT or buy the new phone outright, no termination option. Yesterday I went into the Verizon store in Hollister and Hayley Coulter helped me out. I told her my situation and she said well get it done. WOW, as a GM and business man thats how you take care of business. We sat down she called to get the line terminated and the representative that terminates lines was hesitant and unsure about the process so Hayley and I called again hoping wed contact with a different rep and we did. Within 5 minutes she was able to explain to the termination rep and they were able to cancel the line with ease! NO early term charges because the contract was over in a month and I was upgrading a new phone on an installment plan. I was able to get my mother a new apple XR and a 40mm series 4 Apple Watch (happy mothers day, right?). Plus I got myself a series 4, 44mm stainless steel Apple Watch. THANK YOU HAYLEY!!! SHE IS FREAKING AMAZING! and to the reps at the San Jose Verizon store... HOW BOUT DAT!? Yall need to learn a lil something from Hayley and the team.
