Big lots. I grew up with you. When did you become so cluttered. It used to be so much fun walking the aisles never knowing what youll bump into or if it will last. I used to love looking for the fault. For example, I purchased a mini micro machine set for my son (not the real brand micro machine) it came with an arrow that pointed to the left and said keep right. Ha good times, good times.

They alwasy have good deals on everything.

Stored needs a facelift, but manager was very helpful today. One of the only places in town with a military discount!

Big Lots usually has a good variety of Halloween decorations, not this year! There was almost nothing, very disappointing. The store looked clean and uncluttered. Unfortunately, your choices are very limited, not nearly the store it used to be. Unless, youre shopping for furniture, that takes up around a third of the store. Maybe should be renamed, Big Furniture Lots Plus:)

I went to the Holland location to get the silver vanity for my daughter on a Tuesday and I talked to the store manager Beth there and told me that I couldn’t buy the display , but remind you I was able to buy a display on Black Friday when I bought a mirror . So she told me that another one was coming on Friday and to come back and they would honor the sale price which was still up on the display. So I called before going to Holland on Friday and she told me that they got a white one instead..... the silver one was never ordered!! So I come back and they can not find the white one and they sold the display one to me . When the guy was bringing out the display he dropped it and broke it .

On Saturday, I was looking for Christmas cookie skillet kits. Dorian checked multiple places in the store and checked with other staff, as she remembered seeing 2 the day before. She took my number and said shed let me know if she found them. I wanted 4 total, and she said a truck would be coming on Monday, and she would see if more arrived and contact me. Dorian phoned me later on Saturday, saying shed found the 2 and would set them aside. She then called on Sunday saying she was going to the Grandville store on Monday, and would bring back an additional 2 if she found them there. She was able to get them all for me, and I picked them up on Monday afternoon. I was floored by the above-and-beyond customer service Dorian provided!!! Most staff wouldve said, No, we dont have any left, but check back as we may get more in. Dorian s work ethic is beyond impressive! I still have a smile on my face.

Clean nice to see that they are carrying clothes now., and name brand also.

Worst customer service experience i have ever had!!! I received a coupon days after a purchase i made. I called the store to see if they could fix the purchase and was told that would be no problem. When i went in to do it I was told they can’t. I explained that i had called and was told I could including the details the person told me. He talked back and forth with his manager in the back and said no. I asked to talk to the manager and when he asked her to come up she said no and they told me I could try driving 35 minutes to the Grandville Big Lots to see if they could do it for me. Never again... the deals are not that good. I will go elsewhere

They still have towlet paper, but its way in the back. They are stocked up on things. Some good deals, some not so good. A lot to choose from in home wares. I use there rewards card, usually pays off. Dont forget to push doors open, with your backside.

This store is so dull and dirty I went to the one in Holland and its so much better then the one here. The Kalamazoo store employees are dull and not interested in being at work. Also had dirty face mask, witch means Big Lots are not providing their employees with proper face covering

This is the seecond time weve been here and both times the food was terrific. The service is great and the prices are very reasonable. We had the all you can eat perch dinner, the Lenten special, three fillets and a generous amount of fries to start followed by two more fillets as you request. The perch is huge !! Each fillet easily 8+ inches. The tartar sauce is even extra good. All of that food plus two drafts and we had a bill just over $40 !!!!!!

Hate their redesign... Less space in aisles.. feels like tj Maxx instead of the big lots

Prices are reasonable. But I had a very difficult time finding the things I needed. Id say 50% of my time here was searching iles. Also, out of the many types of products they carried, the selection was VERY very limited. HOWEVER, the customer associate who checked me out was very kind and pleasant!

Can buy just about anything at lower prices than most other stores. As a lot of the merchandise is either discontinued or close to the expiration date on food items the prices are lower. Still the best bargain in town on almost anything you want.

They have a great selection for the price. Dan, one of the employees was very helpful to me. For the way I was treated alone, I will for sure return..

Manager would stop making awkward jokes. It took him 10 minutes to tell us he didnt sell the product we were looking for.

Great experience at this location. John in furniture went way above and beyond what I expected someone too. We now have everything we had decided on getting thanks to him making several phone calls and then getting the final piece we needed that wasnt in stock anywhere near Holland. Thanks, John!!!

Big Lots is a pretty good store to shop at you get things a little cheaper than what you would have other places even though theyre the same kind of brand I like to go there and get the cereal cuz a lot of the family size cereals are like a dollar to $2 cheaper than any other place I love going there for Christmas also to do my shopping

Pleasantly surprised. Have not shopped Big Lots in years due to how it had started to become a bit run down and dirty. Wife and I found some great deals and store was overall clean and organized. We will be back to look for more deals in the future.

I bought a pool through curbside pickup and was charged twice. I called Friday and no manager was available to help and I was told to call back on Saturday. I called back on Saturday. The manager, Beth, promised to call me back on Monday with an estimate on when the refund would be processed, but she did not. I called on Wednesday because I had not heard back. The employee promised she would call me back on Thursday and apologized to me. I did not receive a call back today (Thursday). This is very frustrating and I’m wasting a lot of time on their mistake.

John was very helpful!! When I walked in with crutches he came over to me and offered me a wheelchair and kept my krutches at the register while I shopped! This made for an fun and easy trip! I ended up getting some cute fall decor at a good price!

The worker Tony or i think that was his name was really nice and will help you with anything. He was in a really good mood.

Decent service can usually find a deal. Customer service is really helpful. Ok furniture if you are looking for something on the less expensive range. Decent seasonal section and a cheaper place for inexpensive electronic devices and movies, and snacks.

It is not what the person should of did for me now. The person should of helped me find what I was looking for now.

The reason for our trip was to compare the twin mattresses but we ended up eyeing this Double Reclining Sofa, it was firm and yet quite comfortable. Both Tony & John in customer service were very helpful.

Very strange assortment of products. Not a grocery, some furnature very low end though. Cashiers are always friendly, and staff helpful when trying to find items in store. Prices didnt seem discounted very much for being a discount or closeout store.

First time I been there real good deals

I like going here for the discounted items but dont ever have a question about anything because you can never find a worker to ask. Also dont be in a rush to get in and out because some of the cashiers are really slow, like to conversate a little to much causing back ups in the line. I understand you are understaffed but what staff you do have make sure they can be find in case you have questions!
