Dont ever take your vehicle in for warranty service to this dealership. They have had my forte for over 2months for the engine to be repaired. We are calling the service department weekly for updates and either get a run around of why our car is still not fixed or we flat our never get a return phone call back. We have even left voice-mail to the service manager and store manager. Made complaints to corporate and still nothing. I will never buy a kia vehicle again. I have told ever I know and have turned several customers away from them also. Horrible customer service!

I’ve been trying to have my AWD on my Kia fixed for almost 2 and a half months. My car has been sitting in their parking lot for almost 3 weeks. They didn’t call me at all the first entire week it was there. I finally called after 5 days and it’s still sitting in the parking lot. This is now the second week and 4 days and they haven’t calle me back. The know my extended warranty expired in September. I wonder if they are pushing my repairs until that day. Either way I’m just going to pick up my car later on Friday and I will be making a report to the better bisnes bureau. Their excuse if they don’t have mechanics. They’ve been telling me this since I got this car from them almost 3 years ago. I’ve been dealing with the AWD for that long. First they told me it was Normal”….. “Be nice” how about you guy stop lying to people.

Elhart Kia is a great place to both purchase a vehicle from and get your car serviced. The staff is extremely friendly and responsive. I have found communication to be very professional and prompt. Each time I have visited, all team members make you feel important and that they truly value you as customer. I have worked with Tyler and Jeff in the past and they are both very personable and work hard to meet your needs. The team works to keep repair costs reasonable and Elharts shuttle service is an added bonus when my own schedule is difficult to get something taken care of with my car! I have taken my car to another Kia dealership in the Grand Rapids area before and there is simply no comparison to the quality customer service Elhart provides over the other. I would drive across town in a heartbeat to go to Elhart!

Elhart is fantastic! Tyler, especially. He is the one that manages the service side of Elhart. Whenever I get Tyler on the phone I KNOW that my issue or question WILL be resolved.Their labor rates are great, and they have very transparent pricing. I have rented a Kia here as well while my car was getting serviced.Sign up for their emails and they send you great deals for service too!One thing that does get frustrating dealing with Elhart is the phone system. I’ve called Elhart probably 30 times over the last year for all the issues my Kia has been having. 20 of those always ends up in someone’s voicemail or I get transferred from person to person. Parts takes forever to answer and when I call and ask for service they ask if I’m setting up an appointment. If you say yes they’ll send you to a scheduler. If you have a question for service but answer that you might set up an appointment, they still send you to a scheduler. So then you ask the question to a scheduler and they send you to someone else like parts, tyler or sometimes Ive even got sent to GMC then get transferred somewhere else and have to try again and again until the main receptionist sends me to the right area. Or the receptionist keeps sending you to the same voicemail and you never get anything done because nobody ever answers their phone. If they fixed this issue Elhart would be the best dealership out there for service.It becomes headache inducing unfortunately, but Tyler makes it worth it when he fixes all your issues in just a few minutes.

I cannot even express how amazing this dealership is. They went above and beyond to find the vehicles we wanted and made us feel comfortable and at ease with the leasing process. When going in for an routine oil change they went out of their way to not only remember my husband and I by name but to come and speak to us both. The dealer who sold us the cars had actually saved us a picture of one of our cars that was going to get tossed out. Thought it would look good in our garage lol. The service area was clean and the staff was friendly and genuine. Not friendly to keep your business but friendly cause they are just good people. Will only buy and lease from them. We a lifers.

My wife and I have purchased 3 cars from this Kia location. Each time we are treated well and their salesman do whatever they can to help us buy a car. They put in the work with the lenders, they explain everything in detail (we were new to buying cars and they helped us understand what everything was), and they were always courteous. One of our cars was totaled earlier this year, and not only did they help us replace it with a new car, they were happy to assist us in filing our gap claim, in fact, Sarah put together most all of the paper work (and made copies) for us. They also keep us coming back by offering us super-low rates on oil changes.All in all Ive been super happy with this Kia and plan on going back if we ever trade-in or purchase a new car. I cant recommend this location enough!

We had a very unique experience. We went to there website saw a car that had a MSRP and $14995 then a $1,000 off Kia rebate. $13,995. We get there and the REAL price from the Sale person is over 2,000 more. $16,560.Then he begins to state every rebate humanly possible to receive has already been removed from the website price. The website is very misleading and truly boarders on unethical. Its almost near impossible to qualify for every incentive. It appears to be a truth that is near impossible to get. I call that a LIE.

Per Ellen Carlsons recent Kia Forte service: Shout out to the team at Elhart Kia for the phenomenal job they did in fixing my Kia Forte! They got me in to diagnose car the very next day.I was greeted with a smile by service advisor, Tyler McKellar who guided me through the process--the experience was stellar. I also met with the mechanic, Steve who clearly explained everything to me. The quote was less than expected and I had the opportunity to use an online coupon. The whole team was quick, courteous, friendly and efficient.I was even introduced to two of the service managers at the dealership who I confirmed to that my experience was fantastic. They even shuttled me to and from work while my car was being repaired. My car is running great now and I highly recommend the team at Elhart Kia in Holland, MI.

We only spent $13k on a beautiful used Kia, but he treated us like we were buying a $30k new car. Super professional and kind. After driving a couple explorers Im thinking about a new Kia Telluride now and disappointed to see that my options are to go to Elhart again or to drive out of town. I would give minus stars if I could. My Optima was towed there to be assessed, and I authorized them to fix it on 12/13/18. The service department said they usually need a 24 hour turnaround to get the head repaired, since it was warped, after which they would put my car back together. I assumed Id get it back before Christmas. I didnt get my car back until the evening of JANUARY 7, 2019! They never offered or gave me a loaner to use. I had to beg and borrow rides to work during this very busy time of year. I am disgusted with this poor service. I made a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I would NEVER go there again.

Was not impressed with the changeover from Kia to Elhart. When on the phone I asked about the $10 oil changes Kia granted for the lifetime of the car, they said they would match it. Also said additional service was needed. Was pulled from waiting room after an hour to find out not all services were done. Sat back in waiting room for another 30 minutes. When I went to pay, they said they wouldnt warrant the deal KIA gave me.On the second appointment setup asked about the deal and they said well we only do that for the 1st oil change. Told them that they didnt offer that. Their response was that I would be expected to pay the Elhart price regardless. Needless to say, I removed my appointment.I would rather go to valvoline then sit an hour or more in a waiting room. To find out they wont promise what they offer either on prices or service.Was very disappointed that Elhart doesnt offer a satisfying customer service that KIA truly had. Will not be returning

Everyone was very nice and patient as I explained what I needed done with my car. The process was quick, and Im happy with how smoothly my car drives after a quick maintenance job. I especially appreciated not being pressured to have more work done to my car than I wanted, which has happened at other locations.

I heard about the marketing group they brought in and the whole TV gimmick and it is not representative of the experience I had when I purchased my Sorento from John and Wade. ( My third Kia by the way)Very professional, very detailed and their follow up after the sale has been amazing. If youre serious about a great car and dealership give them another chance. The sales staff, particularly Reneisha was fantastic when I leased my car. The service department, not so much. The first time I needed service, they needed to get a part. They called and gave me an appointment date only to cancel it the day before because that werent the Saturday that the KIA tech worked. The second time I used their online scheduler to book the latest appointment available. I received 4 separate confirmations.the morning of my appointment they called to say their latest appointment is 45 minutes prior to the appointment I booked and they confirmed. Very unprofessional!!

It took 45 days for my girlfriends car to be fixed when it should have been 2 weeks max. They didnt even touch her vehicle for a week as the service tech forgot to call the warranty company. We had to call to figure out what was going on with her car only to find out they had forgotten. Every time they called after that, it was a different story and seemed as if no one communicated with each other. The only upside is that they did do good repair work. Organization and good customer service goes a long way and seriously needs to be re-evaluated here.

Terrible. The salesman kept making things up; promised me things that I would realize later his manager wasnt too happy with, things that I found out werent true. Then, the salesman told me to take the car for the weekend, his manager found out about that too and wasnt happy. I ended up leaving for the weekend with the car and left my car at the dealership. He told me to come back Monday to sign paper work and we would be all good. He told me everything looked good on my side; said nothing about my credit being less than good or how much I still owed on my current vehicle. I came back Monday and he told me there was nothing they could do for me if I wasnt willing to put at least $3,000 down. When I told him I couldnt do that, and that wasnt what he told me before, he took the keys and said good bye. He was pretty rude after that. It was really embarrassing. He gave my keys back and informed me that there wasnt any oil in my car, when I literally had the oil changed two weeks prior and I check the oil in my vehicle on a regular basis. When I left the parking lot, I took it home, let it cool, and checked my oil. Sure enough, there was almost nothing on the stick, when I had already checked it a few days prior, and it looked fine. Glad I ended up having to walk away. Way too sketchy of a place.

I would like to change my 1 star rating to a 5 star rating for Elhart Kia. I had to bring my Soul in today for a recall. Everyone from the Service Dept, the receptionist, to the salesmen were incredibly polite and professional. This is a great change from when it was Seelye (see below). Elhart made sure everything was perfect and I was a happy customer. I highly recommend Elhart Kia!This was written when it was Seelye Kia...before Elhart took over.Martin was very kind. He made sure I was a happy customer. Very down-to-earth and helpful. The other service techs and the service manager were not, though. This is only my third time having service at the Chicago Dr location and two out of the three were not pleasant service. Other than the not-so-great service, as I was walking through the showroom, they were having a staff meeting and the supervisor was lecturing them about how to be nice to their fellow employees, and even though its winter, those employees still need to go outside and the cars still have to be brushed off... It wasnt a good impression for a customer to witness. I was hoping for great service and a great impression. I was given way less.

I recently bought a car there and Reneisha Powell was awesome. She knew about the car and even helped entertain my 3 year old while we waited for paperwork. She heard us mentioning my daughters life threatening food allergies and went so far as asking other customers to be careful of their wrappers so my daughter wouldn’t get sick. It wasn’t a necessary thing on her part but was a HUGE deal on my part when usually it’s me against the world to keep her safe.She has called me a few times since I bought the car to check up. I have to say if I could put no stars I would, unfortunately I feel like I was taken advantage of due to being a female. I purchased a 2014 Ford Escape from this dealership in March 2018, 7-8 months later I need to replace the entire transmission. Although it was just checked in June to be good by the service department @ Elhart. I was not offered any type of warranty at the time of sale because I recall they wanted to over charge me more for the vehicle, over 2,000 over KBB. Then they kept asking me if I could put more money down, and I told them that was all I could do. Needless to say I went back to the dealership about this problem and was pushed aside. I will not refer nor recommend anyone buy any used vehicle from this lot, because who knows what your really buying. Totally disappointed with the fact that this guy can literally sell a car a day but at the end we are the ones being lied too.

I spent 45 minutes driving to Seelye KIA of Holland to have a diagnostic test run on my Sportage. After spending 2 hours and 15 minutes sitting in the service lounge, Im told that they cant run a diagnostic test on it and that Id have to come back next week. If that wasnt frustrating enough, one of the other employees decides to chime in and says to just deal with it. Really? What kind of garbage is that? Not only will I not be back, Ill be advising people to avoid this place like the plague. Time is valuable and this experience was nothing short of a nightmare.

I messaged a salesman about a vehicle before I drove an hour to go see it, but found out when I got there that he lied about it to get us in the door. Also found out he increased the price on us while we were on the way. The same guy I talked to beforehand was not the one to help us when we got there, he was probably afraid to own up to his unethical and dishonest practices. Dont waste your afternoon like we did and do not patronize this business.

I purshased a news set of tires for my Kia Sorento a month ago. I spent about $800 and three days later my rear left tired is leaking air. My wife took it in and they added air and said if it persist to bring it back. I took it back about a week later and they told me the tired needed to be sealed. I asked them why? is the tire damaged or defected? They told me that “it can be caused by the damaged rim!!” I didn’t have that issued before they installed the new set of tires. They told me they had to reseal the tire. I waited about 20 min or so and they come back and tell me the equipment doesn’t work. That I would have to reschedule. They told me it would take a week. I waited two weeks and they didn’t call me. So I called them and I was told the equipment wasn’t fixed. A week later today I called and the equipment isn’t fix. What gives man!!!! I’m starting to think this guys treat me like this because I’m young or Hispanic. This isn’t the first time I’ve had this horrible service. I’m done with this guys. I’m going to make sure I let my frids know how I’ve been treated. I will never buy a vehicle at this location or a damn KIA. Oh and my dad got horrible service from them too. I know right, it sounds like I’m over exaggerating! I spent $800 dollars on a new set of tires! I shouldn’t have to deal with this!!!!

MARKETING SCAM. I was tricked into thinking I won a TV from their most recent marketing scam. Let me explain this to you. First, they send you a card in the mail explaining how youve won a 55 4K TV. They give you a number that you must call to confirm your prize. Youre then lead through a handful of questions gathering information about how much money you make and whether youre in the market for a new vehicle. Then out of the blue the call ends... Then you head into their office to claim your new TV. A salesman gathers all of your personal information and then tells you that unfortunately you did not win a TV. You ask why you didnt win, because the flyer and the fine print both explain that you did in fact win. You then get the response that We hired an outside marketing firm to run this promotion to get people in the door. We dont agree with their tactics, but hey, heres a losing $2 scratch off ticket. Oh and by the way, what type of car are you looking for today? We have lots of great inventory out here.What a joke! Ill never do business with Seeyle. If it were possible to give them negative stars I would. I wish I knew what they intend to do with all of my personal information that they gathered... Ill most likely be getting a cold-call sometime soon from one of their salesmen trying to sell me a car. Thanks for wasting my time.

Very unorganized and so unprofessional. No communication between staff. What customer service?I scheduled half a day off from work to take my car to get serviced and as Im on my way(coming from grand rapids), I call ahead to let them know Im coming and they tell me that they dont have me in the system and that they couldnt take my car in without an appointment (I had scheduled the appointment 2 weeks from today).Then they call me back 15 minutes later saying they had found me in ¿another database? And that they could see me at 3 today a but by that time I was off the highway and just about to get home and on top of that the manager was being sarcastic and very short. They have like 3 or 4 managers and not one can schedule an appointment correctly nor manage anything .This place is nothing like Seeley KIA was.

I have never given a bad review in my life and am usually one to keep my mouth shut and avoid conflict, but I was apalled by the customer service my family received at this facility. They did not inform us that the car we had scheduled a test drive to look at was no longer available, and we drove from Kalamazoo, MI to view it. Multiple family members took time off work to see this car only to be told upon arrival it was unavailable. There was no communication from the time the appointment was set until our arrival that the car was no longer for sale. They wasted our time and money even after I had expressed while making the appointment the distance we were travelling and that time off work was also at hand. This is unacceptable professional behavior. I will not be returning to this facility nor do I recommend their services to anyone looking for a car.

I never bought a car from them myself, but my roommate did. It started breaking down within the first month and it is currently in the shop. They sold a car they knew had a million problems to a woman who was desperatly trying to get back on her feet, have been giving her the run around, wont give her a loaner, and as a result there are now 7 people including myself who are being deeppy effected especially in our jobs because we now only have 2 cars between the 7 of us and considering myself and the owner in question work in the direct care field we may loose our jobs because we lack transportation.I understand the need to make money with a buisness, but you can do it without selling lemons to hard working men and women who need reliable transportation. This is just plain bad buisness and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Unfortuately, place was a bait and switch. We went in on Sat and looked at a vehicle. My sister selected one and we let the salesman know the monthly budget we could hit. He asked us to to come back on Monday when Wade the GM was in. We changed our Monday plans and waited for a 9 am call from the salesman. He called we reiterated the pricepoint with no tradein. He said we were right there. We came in and met with Wade who was almost almost $175 higher. Wade was challenging to the conversation and tried to convince us that a lease and convert to puchase was the best option. We left without buying the car.Wade was insulting and it was a waste of time unless you like playing games.

Our car was totaled in an accident. My wife purchased a car from Seelye 4 years ago, so she insisted we go back. We met with Jeremy who told us about a 2014 black Kia Soul Plus that just came in - and was in fact being washed in the shop when we went to see it.After spending hours on Craigslist the night before and planning a day or two of checking dealerships out from Holland to Grand Rapids, Jeremy just happened to have the vehicle we wanted? Yes! We were also not expecting to get such a new car, but Jeremy also worked things out to match our existing payment. Wow! While Jeremy was busy putting all the paperwork together, Nelson, another sales guy, sat in the Soul with us and went through every detail in detail, even connecting the phone for the radio and hand free talking - to which we were very impressed, and now my wife calls me each day from the car just to show off :)I felt like there was a real team spirit, and the long list of priorities I had put together were completely fulfilled with this one stop, and the first vehicle we looked at. My wife and I are very happy and impressed with their service, and were with the first car we purchased from them! Highly recommended!

I live in Rockford. I researched a Mitsubishi Outlander for 2 years and decided to purchase a 2016 one. Wanted the high mpg for a mid sized SUV with 3rd row and had a budget in mind of under $30,000. I test drove the only one Gezon Mitsubishi had and asked the sales guy to call me when they got a black or gray one in. He didnt. I drove by and saw it sitting there. I called and he said fill out online credit app and the finance woman would call me. I did, and she didnt call. I went there to test drive the black one and see what interest rate she got me. Neither the sales guy Nick or manager had a clue. She was off and wouldnt be back until after the holiday weekend. I wasted so much time at this place! NO ONE COULD SELL ME THE CAR I spent 2 years researching and it took them nearly an hour to tell me! I had sold mine. It was Friday at 2:00.The North Kia owners bought everyones breakfast at Annas House that morning, so I went there, but they didnt have the exact Sorento I wanted. I got up Saturday and drove to VerHage Mitsubishi in Holland. Planning to buy their Cosmic Blue Outlander I saw online. They were closed for the holiday weekend. Online it said open on Saturday until 1pm.On my way home I drive through the Seelye Kia of Holland lot. Sam came out and asked what I was looking for. He listened. He was honest and real. He said he would do whatever it took to earn my business. He had exactly what I wanted and a much more luxurious feel and drive than the same priced Outlander. The rebates were awesome and I got 0% interest. I paid less than I was planning for the Outlander! Tom, Jeremy and Sam stayed late on Labor Day Saturday even though they all had plans. My sales guy Sam WASHED MY CAR HIMSELF since the others had gone home. Get a Sorento, dont waste your time at Mitsubishi! I am SO HAPPY I did. Tell Sam I sent you!

I cannot speak for the dealership as a whole, but I can speak for the quality of the salesman, Dwayne. He was very obnoxious, rude, and condescending. He was extremely unhelpful at helping us find what we were looking for. 95% of the time he was talking about his own personal life or giving unwanted comments and advice about our life. It felt as though he was stalling us. We were trying to test drive the car and ended up spending 5-10 min sitting in the running car while he talked at us (nothing said actually about the car itself) before we actually left. He hardly talked business at all while he couldnt stop talking about his personal life and ours. I am not one to leave bad reviews and tend to give people the benefit of the doubt but in this case, he was awful to work with and felt that others should be aware. He was one of the worst salesmen we have ever dealt with.
