Average tools and average shopping for the average Joe.Harbor freight is awesome for finding some great deals on tools that are normally expensive.

DO NOT waste your time or money. Youre better off spending the extra on name brand. Bought a paint sprayer, it didnt work. It was FOR work, so instead of taking the chance on the same one a second time, we figured wed return it (under the time frame, with receipt, in original box) and go elsewhere for a brand we are familiar with.Yeah....no. You can either put 100% of your purchase price towards an upgrade (that may or may not work), or you can pay a 20% restocking fee (what are they restocking?!) and have the remainder put back on a card.Hmmmm.......so when I return my used, malfunctioning paint sprayer- theyre going to charge ME so they can restock it and sell it to YOU?Like I said, just go someplace else.

Lots of great tools! Bought a finishing sander, works great! Though they did not have the sandpaper for it. Had to go somewhere else to get it.

The store is neat and clean. Its my go to place for hand tools like hammers and Prybars.

Drove all the way here from Livingston to exchange out a generator as they were the only store in the state that had them in stock got to say the crew here is top-notch and they do an amazing job.

Very good selection. Multiple levels of quality/price range. If you have a product issue, theyll take it back and give you a new one, even if its months after you bought the tool. Im sure they have a time limit but I have yet to have them reject an exchange.

Good for those things you need; but not often enough to spend 10 times the price elsewhere.

DRIVERS:If your appt time is 4pm they mean 4pm. Dont show up at noon and expect to get unloaded. Nothing wrong with that, just dont show up too early. They will get you unloaded in a decent time though. Staff is friendly which is always a plus.

I love having a local Harbor Freight in Helena. After signing up for their free catalog it is even better! Each catalog has coupons FOR various free items with any purchase! They also have great prices every day. I recommend everyone to check them out for all your tool needs!

Great prices for several different products. Great place for the not so pro.

Products are okay, but just dont try to pay with a check at checkout. I had to show two forms of ID first the US Passport and then a drivers license as well, the checker girl new at the job did the best she could, three different employees came out of a dark office room and said that she will have to call it in. So she did, 20 minutes into the call I was slowly loosing my patience. Our daughter was waiting in the car with her baby, so yes we were getting a little nerfed! The teller gave routing number, account number name address, address again, name again, spelled name with letters, phone person must be somewhere in an other country...Asia? with no English knowledge. After 20 minutes I wanted to cancel my shopping, my husband insisted that he needed some of these items. So I ended up paying with my credit card, asked for the manager to see if he would agree to a customer satisfaction treatment. He thought that there was absolutely nothing wrong with their system and this always happens when you shop this store the first time with a check, a customer satisfaction treat of any kind was absolutely not an option for him, he was straight forward, impolite and arrogant.

Was able to find what I needed here when I couldn’t at Home Depot/Lowe’s.

Great store. Totally lax and absolutely blind when it comes to customer safety. I’ve witnessed numerous people in this store not wearing a mask and nothing is ever said or done about it. I’ll go elsewhere. Management is completely out of touch with reality.

Easy to get around except for the people stocking the shelves and blocking the way.

Good prices. Forgot my ad so I asked for one. They said they do not carry ads in the store but I did find the display of ads. Also, employee did not mention their website which has all sales listed. Unfortunately the battery charger we purchased was not working so had to exchange it.

Superior prices on tools that are just as good as premium.

Very helpful. Told them what I was looking for (a cement mixer) and they directed me to it. I thought it was an item I had to order in.. but they had a number in stock including one on display. I had read the review on their website. Assembly is said to be challenging but the product has high reviews and an excellent price.

Always like shopping for tools at Harbor Freight. I made some good purchases here. Very happy with most things Ive purchased from them, but like any tools, its important to look at the reviews first before you buy! Not everything is top notch thats sold here. Just what customers have rated as top notch, usually is.

Great place. I called them prior to my visit to see if they had automotive ramps available. They were helpful and gladly went and looked and told me the price. I looked online to see if I could use a coupon for my purchase, which one was available. I arrived, got the ramps and went to register to check out. They scanned the coupon for 20% off right off my smart phone. Happy with my experience!

Never disappoint, and you know Im about that 20% off coupon (good for almost everything except the big toys) and a free flashlight everytime! Bring back the free tarps!

Great price & service in Helena. Even though they dont carry high end brands, theyre products except electrical products hold up really well including generators which I have only heard really good things. They only down side is tool sets should be larger(more sizes per set)

A great place for inexpensive tools, and useful home items. Not alot of pro quality stuff, but good enough to get the job done for homeowners and weekend mechanics.

Cheap tools. The hand tools are really good quality and they have a lifetime warranty. The power tools will get you through a job and they are cheap enough that you can throw them away when you are done and not be out much.

Im a bit of a tool and gadget geek. Harbor Freight lets me pursue my do it yourself, gardening, and organizing hobbies without busting the budget. Todays haul included an LED light for my wardrobe and a carabiner measuring tape for our son.
