So I’ll start by stating that when I arrived, no one was tending to the store or could be found for 20 minutes, and when I returned my truck, there were 4 people waiting who stated they had been there for 30 minutes and no one seemed to be working there at 6:30 on a Friday.They charged me for insurance when I explicitly refused it and charged me for furniture pads but never gave them to me. I had a dirty truck that was damaged. At least they did not try to charge me for the damage.To add insult, the manager reached out to me a day after my Google review and said he reviewed the tapes and I was lying. He reviewed the tapes AT THE TIME OF THE PICKUP AND RETURN. Meaning: he didn’t rewind to the part where I was in the store returning the truck, or waiting to pick up with no one there. Employees and management are equally intelligent and hardworking.

As of this point, if I could give less than one star I would...I made an order for the parts and installation to add a hitch assembly to my Ford Edge back in early March.  The original installation was supposed to happen on 3/22. when I arrived for the installation, I was told that the necessary parts had not arrived yet but would be there by later in the week, and that I would be contacted with the new time for installation.  After a week had gone by, I still had no word of a new installation date.  I called the shop in Hamilton and apparently got transferred to the main call center where someone looked into the order.  All they could tell was that they were waiting of a missing part still.  They told me that they would have someone from the shop in Hamilton call me with an update on the schedule.  Another couple weeks went by with still no communication.  I did notice that the installation date on my order was updated to 4/22, so I decided to wait.  On the 22nd, I received a text saying that a part was still delayed but would be in later in the week and that a manager would call me with an update.  Again more than a week passed with no communication.  Checking online I once again noticed the installation date on the order was changed to 5/4.  On 5/3 I received another text saying that the hitch still hasnt arrived and that they were checking with the shipping company for an updated schedule.  I still have not received any more communication.  The order page on the web site still says Installed on 5/4.This entire process has been absolutely ridiculous.  This hitch was purchased to tow a new trailer purchased at the end of March.  I have had to cancel two trips already as I still dont have a vehicle to pull the trailer and I have a third coming up this weekend that I cant cancel.  I can understand supply line delays.  I deal with them every day in my professional life, but the sheer lack of communication on the matter has been almost insulting.  This entire saga has made me question whether I will be able to trust this company with any future business.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. We called and made reservations for a 15’ and then called again to confirm and we were told we were all set. We get there early to pick up and they don’t have the 15’ that we had just confirmed over the phone? Then they tell us we can do a 20’ but we will be charged extra. Why? It’s not our fault you confirmed us for the one we wanted and then you didn’t have it? I should be getting the 20’ for free at that point. I have NEVER left a place a bad review before but this place triggered me.

So busy and still amazing service wonderful staff.

Might aswell not have a phone system, they have no idea how to answer or use it.

Charged extra days for a truck they didnt check in after and after hours drop off. Keys were in the drop box, and the return process was completed online. Find someone else. Someone capable of finding a 20 ft truck parked on their property.

After 3 rentals this year from 3 locations, I have to say that this location is so friendly and competent! Ryan was the check out person and even though it was very busy, he was very professional, even though he had to keep explaining the added costs to aggravated customers.The best part was a guy, I think it was Phillip. I showed him that the online check-in wasnt working and he just smiled and said no prob. He backed the trailer into an akward spot, since they were slammed at 7pm on Saturday! He even let me take a picture as proof of such a great experience.

Best location by far. Outstanding customer service. So far Ive had 3 hitches installed here, and every time theyve done a superb job. This last installation they ran into a complication with my wiring (my vehicle is annoying like that) for a brake controller but they figured things out and got the job done the right way. I wouldnt take my vehicles anywhere else for hitch installation.Thanks guys!!

No one works here. There is literally never anyone in the office. My grandmother has continuously had problems with her access and tries to call, but they never answer. Today they did the biggest inconvenience of all and put up a red tag for non-payment when we needed to take stuff out. And no one stuck around so we could show them the receipt that we DID IN FACT PAY. Lady on the phone blatantly admitted she only gets into the office until 6:30pm. Had to complain to the GM because they are awful.

Staff was very disorganized and I was charged twice. When I tried to dispute the transactions they never answered.

This was absolutely the worst experience with a company and management that i have ever encountered. I rented a vehicle for 29.95 and had it for just over an hour we only put around 20 miles on it after it was returned i found out the card was charged for over $900. We called to try and see what happened only to receive no answer at which point we had to drive back to the store and talk with someone in person about it. It was at this point the man behind the counter said well we will just refund it and it will take up to 5 business days. Didnt offer any help in settling the matter. didnt even offer to give us a discount on our use of the truck which was only $58 and now we are without any money until it clears for something thats not our doing. Yet all you can say is sorry and shrug and tell us its up to our bank on how fast you get your money back that we took away from you then dont care because it doesnt affect you. This is absolutely unacceptable and i will be letting all of our friends know not to use this company especially this location. The resolution of this matter by your associate was absolutely ridiculous.

Best store around rent car haulers on a regular from here and they always have what I need and they people here are great and make getting in and out easy.

Best U haul experience ever. To begin all the staff is real helpful and nice. Ive been there couple of times for rental truck and Randy is beyond amazing, super helpful. Prices are not bad either. They are always busy because of them being situated next to busiest intersection in Hamilton. So advance booking is highly recommended. This location also refills the propane tanks as well. Oh and they got secured storage units as well.

Did an online reservation and had no issues picking up my truck. It was my first time renting a U-Haul and the lady working the desk was super friendly and helpful and walked out with me to get me on my way. Highly recommended!

Usually I have had no problem with this location. I was a few minutes late on a 24 hour rental and was charged another full day WITHOUT BEING INFORMED. Had I known I would have kept the trailer until the next day. And finished what I needed to do. I was late, but was not told I was being charged. That is the problem, had I been told I would not be upset.

If I could give negative starts I would. Quoted $58 for a 24 hour rental, charged $72 (which was fine) BUT THEN 24 hours after returning the truck and signing a $72 receipt my bank reflects a $72 hold PLUS $130 charge. Called the store thinking there was an error and it would be resolved quickly. Wrong. The store directed me to call the national customer service. After holding for 40 minutes the national customer service instructed me to call the store. Given the run around at store level a SECOND time. So quadruple charges for 72 hours plus - folks at my bank are filing fraudulent charges. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR MONEY STOLEN.

Nice people, pleasant and helpful. Have Propane at reasonable price. Big ups for that. Rhino tank Refills have 10-12 Lbs. of gas for over $20. U-Haul will fill your tank with 20 True Lbs. (4.5 Gal.) for just over $15.

Dont waste your time standing line. Definitely use the phone app. This place has all sizes, all the time.

Located in a decrepit part of town. Difficult to find customer entrance. Minimal parking in a rundown parking lot. Very small building with helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff.

Its always nice dealing with U-Haul Ive been a return custom for quite a long time kind of sucks when youre trying to get out of the parking lot with a big truck pretty busy

Staff is friendly; parking is horrible; getting in and out of parking lot is terrible; they do have lots of equipment available. They seem to be very busy always and returning equipment can be difficult especially if you rented a large truck. Yes I will use them again.

Natasha was very unhelpful for me. I need a rental for 1 day of a trailer that is 14.99 a day. I was told it was a minimum of 4 days and would be $168. No where on the website did ir say 4 day minimum or tgat its in town only at 1 one day rate but she basically said sorry about your luck and hung up. Thanks for no help!

Make sure you have a reservation prior to going up to get a truck. This place does a lot of business and trucks go quickly.
