This guys are absolutely amazing! Took my car there they were on point!!!!!! Shoutout to Saul the sales advisor. They were fast, Best Price in Town and the friendliest and trust me I did my homework.

My wife’s transmission on her ‘07 Escape died while she was taking our daughter to school. Once we were able to get it to AAMCO, Saul, (Remember that name…it’ll do you good later on down the road), received our car, assessed it, and got the arrangements started to get it fixed. Saul ordered a replacement (rebuilt/reman) transmission for it, and his techs installed it.We picked up the car, drove it to NC and it started acting funky and leaking. Soon after that we got in contact with Saul who re-accepted our car, diagnosed the replacement transmission as faulty (not his fault, rather it was the supplier’s fault), and quickly had a different transmission brought in and replaced with no charge to us as well as provided a loaner car. Saul and AAMCO impressed me because he stood by his assessment, warranty, and did right by my family and honored his business agreements. He went above and beyond for my family. Now, I have confidence that if I ever need anything else done, I WILL call Saul at AAMCO.Thank you Saul and the techs!

The transmission on my truck went out. AAMCO worked with me to find the problem and fix it as inexpensively as possible. Ended up needing a rebuild, but all of the diagnosis costs were applied to the rebuild, which saved me some money. The truck drove great for the next 15 months. Then the transmission failed again during a road trip (this truck has caused me many problems besides the transmission over the past few years). AAMCO honored their warranty and repaired the transmission again.

If you need your transmission worked on, this is the place to go! Reasonably priced and they stand behind their work!

I took my family’s only car at the time in which was diagnosed with needing a new transmission to AAMCO on Mauldin rd. I explained the issue to them and I was told to just bring the car and they’d work me in. I was expecting to be waiting at least a day being worked in but I was called an hour later explaining what was going on. This was on a Friday morning, and I was called on Wednesday morning saying he car was ready. From the jump, they were friendly, knowledgeable and didn’t charge anything until the car was fully diagnosed and had the confirmation to start working on my car. Not to mention it was done almost $1200 cheaper than what I was quoted from the dealership with the same warranty. I’d recommend anyone go see the guys at AAMCO on Mauldin Road. Honest and professional, after a check of my F250 the staff reported my transmission was fine and they made other recommendations that lead me to find a cost saving solution to my problem. This the second time they have guided me to the best resolution.

Walked in to get a quote on my 2005 Cadillac CTS rear differential bushing replacement on a Friday afternoon; they said they could take care of it on the following Monday. Dropped of the vehicle Sunday night and was expecting it to take a few days, but AAMCO called me Monday at 12:46PM and said it was ready. Thats fast for such a difficult repair. I will definitely use AAMCO again. Thanks guys!

Did a great job.

The staff was friendly. The price was what I expected it to be for the work they had to do, but they also topped off my fluids. I knew I was low on power steering fluid and they topped it off at no extra charge. Ill definitely go back.

I am still waiting on my car. Supposed to hot my ECM done its now three weeks. Owner told me this when it would be done, and tells me its going to be longer. Have to take it to the Chevy place to get it reprogrammed. Thats fine, but should have been totally honest upfront. Had to keep calling family auto to find out what the hold up tells them one thing and give me a line of bull. Thats not cool. I could have taken it to Chevy place if that was the case. Unacceptable!

UPDATE... the new owner addressed the issue and I was very happy with how I was attended to. Thank youI had my valve cover gasket and belt changed here last Friday. I went back because my car was making a weird noise coming from the belt area. I went inside and said my car is making an odd noise near the belt do you think you could have someone come listen to it and tell me what they think. She hesitated and said shes not sure. Seeing how I think my request was reasonable I insisted that someone come out. Big deal. Im a customer the manager is sitting down on his phone. Im asking for less than 5 min after spending over 250$ on service. She said the mechanic was on a test drive and could come out when hes back BUT he comes back and now instead of him coming out or them saying just a minute longer please...oh no! She comes back out to tell me they think its the crank shaft leaking on it because they also suggested the crank shaft seal needed to be replaced. How rude. I dont give a flip what you think it might be if you cant take five minutes out of your precious time to come listen. Im sure it would just kill you to give me your opinion. But now I know that Im such an inconvenience to them that I will never come here again. The customer service here used to be great. Im writing this review from the parking lot of Advanced Auto as they careful look at my engine. They came out immediately. Bad customer service

When our transmission started shifting super hard recently, and finally broke down for good, Aamco had it hauled in and put in a rebuilt unit. In under 3 days it was ready to pick up, and, let me tell you, its like new.

My fiancee was having car troubles and we looked up this shop, because they had solid reviews. They were able to get her car fixed for a decent price for what the problem was, but just recently her troubles returned. It turns out that they didnt fully follow through with their own procedure and now its back in the shop again. I will say that we wont be returning here any time soon.

Reasonable prices good work

I had engine work done on my car here. First time ever used this shop. The manager seemed friendly at first, but as the visit progressed, he flipped a switch on me. He acted evasive when I asked about the cost to rebuild the transmission. He wouldnt give me a written estimate. He wanted to scribble the verbal quote he gave on the back of a business card. I asked him to give a b break down of the quote he stated, but he seemed to get aggatated by my wanting to know the cost break down. As for the mechanic that did the engine work, he seemed evasive, too. I will give the mechanic an A for test driving my car after the repair. I havent seen that done in years!! My car seems to be doing well. I think he is one of those guys who feel uneasy talking about auto mechanics to a woman. I understand auto mechanics more than I really want to due to years of repair shop antics. At any rate, I give this repair shop 2 stars for being evasive and shovanistic. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

Had to have a total rebuild on my 2008 Taurus. I the 1st week, had to return my car twice. Both times to fix a faulty part from the rebuild. If I have to return, I will bring a Lawyer. This is unacceptable!!!!
